Kebabs are 10/10 Highly recommend

Got Swinton biggest kebab it was all Donner meat one strip of shish 5 piece of chicken and 4 pieces lam pitifully at least make it even and enjoyable we won't it even trying to split this between me and my wife was pitifully I might as well got a Donner kebab because that what we got with a couple added bits gutted was really looking forward to it and got nothing what they advertised not happy

Chef special curries are really tasty. Highly recommendid

95% of our Chicken Kebab was onion and peppers. Naan was good though.

Ordered 2 portions of onion bhaji, received no salad, first and last time i use this takeaway, poppadum's all smashed to crumbs (delivered on a push bike.

Fantastic Tandoori mixed grill with balti Sauce. The wife's dish was just as good. We are a bit fussy about curries but there was no fuss here. Open kitchen too.... I like that. Strong 5 star. We will be back. Gaz

Went here quite a few years ago with my friends and it was so tasty went here again today and still so tasty and the kebabs are massive and only 9.50 definitely worth the money best Kebab around

I ordered food to be delivered from Shamna Swinton it cost me £16.40 for roast chicken and chips and 3 mix meat kebab (chicken lamb donner) When it arrived on time The roast chicken was chicken nuggets The chips were cold The lamb and chicken from kebab was burnt and the kebab was opened from the silver wrapping and of cause was all cold . Obviously it's now all in the bin Won't go again it's not what I ordered it's cold suggest people stay away avoid food poisonings

Chicken tikka Karahi is amazing, food was nice and hot when I picked it up, highly recommend this place

I ordered from this restaurant this evening and won't be ordering again. The curries were bland and very much inedible. The curries consisted of 99% sauce and the sauces were very similar for each different curry. I hate complaining about food but this is just a heads up for anyone wanting to order from this place, don't bother. I called the restaurant to see if anything could be done about this and they just passed the phone around to different members of staff and put the phone down on me.

Was incredible, chef Charlie cooked us up some bangin chicken with spicy rice and salad with a side of halloumi! The front of house Mel accompanied us to the pool where we had a pleasant smoking experience!

Not sure what happened to this place but absolutely abhorrent the donner meat was off and coated in somthing to cover the off meat 🤢 relative had her seperate home and same issue had to bin it smelt off and disgusting what has happened used to be a great place

I've been in the take away twice as i am living in East Midlands , first time by chance as i was hungry and find take away near to me then 2nd time love to go there ,their food is delicious and staff is same as 20 years ago so experienced staff and top of that nice and clean place. Full five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff are amazing and obliging to help the best way they could. My husband is in Salford Royal and we have a curry and a kebab from here and it was bloody gorgeous on both occasions, even delivered the meal to the hospital. Thank you guys, top class food and top class service.

Always get the house special kebab always fresh and tasty. Delivery is usually within the time we are given. Definitely worth a try.

Ordered a takeaway for my wife and I. Poppadoms and nan bread were palatable. The curry's was tasteless and bland . One of the wort I've had, ended up throwing most of it away. Won't be ordering from there again

The worse curry I've ever encountered. It was supposed to be a 'chicken madras' What I received was... Grisly off cuts of course chicken in a strangely brown wet sauce. You know the last bit of curry pot noodle that's left in the bottom of the pot? I swear this was the sauce I received. It's texture was powdery, the taste.... Well, I swear it was a curry pot noodle. The absolute worse I've ever tasted! Suppose I ought to mention it was swimming in grease too! I'll never order there again.

The best food in Manchester. From the tandoori breasts to the chicken tikka to the kebabs, amazing. Seriously their food is amazing. Sham and Hassan own it and they will cook whatever you want

Absolute worst curry I've ever tasted in my life, I acctually feel sick after eating it Every single piece of chicken tasted like it had been dug up and there was about a quarter cup of grease on top of the curry, sorry I have no pics but I was discussed and it went straight In the bin 🤢

Large kebab was huge, very little salad though but tasty. Onion bhajis were raw in the middle and verging on burnt on the outside, only 2 of them as well which for the price I think is poor everywhere else you get 4 for that price. Also a bit annoyed there is a hidden 40p charge when ordering through the website only appears when you get the confirmation email, which I'm sure is verging on illegal at no point did it show this charge on the site, for that reason alone i won't be ordering again.

Ordered 2 x Meals for 1....unfortunately all 4 Onion Bhajis were not cooked through! Gooey, pasty, wet inside, and very dark on outside. Not the best from the Shamnah, sorry to say. Chicken Tikka Masala was fine.

Just had the shamnah special kebab and it is really tasty, it's massive I had no chance of finishing it best splitting it between two 🤣👍

Went to collect my order whilst i was sat waiting i witnessed the guy who was serving me licking his fingers .. wiping his nose with his hand then wiping his nose on the hand towel on the wall .. with all this corona virus going around then he does that not to mention all of them handling food passing to one another with no gloves .. Never again i binned my food

Ordered a delivery from this takeaway. Wasn’t listening to the order .Waited 45 minutes for the order and when it came was the wrong . When I phoned up to complain he started arguing saying he knew it was wrong but couldn’t do anything About it. I said we had paid extra because we asked for it to be separate and the reply I got was we’ll refund you the extra next time. When I asked to speak to the manager he dismissed me. So much for supporting your local takeaways in such a difficult time. Absolute rude and disgusting customer service.

Absolutely disgusting charging for a delivery that doesn't go to the delivery person how do I know ive worked for Shamnah take away and got a poxy £40 plus a curry that I didn't want but took. Had to use my own car my own petrol which was £18. Delivered over 30 meals and they've got the cheek to charge delivery.

The food arrived piping hot in good time. So wonderful to eat some curry that is spicy and tastes slow cooked with a depth of flavour. we'll definitely be ordering again..

We regularly get food from here, usually their kebabs in a naan bread....they are delicious, fresh and plentiful....especially if you go big and get the special...it’s massive. The kids also love their cheeseburger & chips with donner on the side. Would highly recommend.

ordered a large mix keebab on naan, and it came with donna meat & sheekh kebab no chicken tika or lamb tika, i rang up and their not arsed!

We love shamnah food it is excellent and well worth the money 10 out of 10.

Took them 1 hour and 40 mins to deliver our food and when it did come it was cold had to reheat it greasy too will not be ordering from here again!!!

I don't get takeaways too often but this is my go to place. Really good and great choices. There was a small mistake on my last order and within 20 minutes the owner turned up with a full replacement order. Can't fault the service or food.

Food was tasty and delivered on time (Ordered on Just Eat) however the state of the foil trays made it look like it had been dropped or something heavy had been put on top of the bag. One of the dishes was so squashed it was literally impossible to get it out.

I was staying in a local hotel and just did not fancy another night out in a restaurant, so take away it was and this looked to fit the bill. Initially i found it a little hard to find, as it doesn't really shout "take away restaurant" on the outside of the building, but it definitely is at the address my GPS was taking me to. I had already scanned the menu online, so knew what i wanted and my order was taken right away. I saw the nan being cooked in front of me and the doner meat being carved, so it wasn't anything sat being kept hot waiting for a customer. By the time it was filled with the salad and placed on the container, it was a lump for sure and when i unwrapped it to eat, it was a significant feed for one. No arguments from me on quantity. It was pretty good and the chilli sauce was just right. There is no way i could come near to finishing it and as value for money, i would say very good. Others have mentioned the service and some of the grumpy responses or lack of from the staff, well yes there wasn't much idle chit chat, but i got what i ordered in quick time and was on my way. I didn't go for a long conversation with the staff, but didn't find them rude, just all business and that was fine with me. Would go back again no problem.

have visited previously and the lack of please and thank you's was something I noted. Tried it again tonight and was greeted with "yeah" paid for my food and put my hand out for change and he just plonked it on the counter without saying a word. Their labelling of swintons largest kebab is completely untrue as it is considerably smaller than Swinton baltis which is also cheaper, food tastes fine but their lack of customer service which is just plain rude means I won't be returning

Get food delivered from here a lot, probably more than we should! Use their own app which is great and easy to use. Menu is never ending too. Everything I have tried has been perfect. Delivered nice and hot. If they’re behind with your order they will let you know, as I’m busy periods on weekends etc. Really good. I used to order from other local takeaways but now I always choose this one without a doubt. Excellent.

Excellent range of freshly cooked food

Badly cooked food. Mingin chicken burger like it has been cooked in old oil for far too long (it was burnt and dry) leathered in soggy brown lettuce and over compensated mayo .. disgusting !!!

I placed an order over the phone and paid with my card not unusual to do, then 2 hours later my bank texted me with some unusual purchases many attempts were made on several amounts. Lucky my bank noticed these and blocked my card immediately this was the only time I’d used my card in days the fraud team are now looking into it. Is it a coincidence I think not!!! Just be careful and don’t pay with your card if you are wanting to order from this place.

Ordered at 10:25 and they said our order would be an hour, over an hour later and the store has closed and still no food delivered , not answering calls , usually a good takeaway but a total let down!

The perfect treat for Mother’s Day!!

Used to be the best takeaway around but now is probably becoming the worse. We don't order takeaway often but this time has to be the worst. It took an hour and half to arrive and when it did they hadn't sent everything. It then took another 40mins for rest to come and it was cold. When I rang I was told that it was because they were busy. this is not an acceptable excuse. Very disappointed with the customer service.

Best place about kebabs are bang on all the time and Currys are out of this world never disappoint

Great takeaway for quick dinner. The food is neither bad and neither worst it's just above medium. Delivery time is something around 30-45 minutes which is reasonable.

Review was taken down 😂 but again I'll say after my mum ordering for years from these, last night our normal weekend treat turned up and the rice was disgusting. Basically clumps of dried up rice. We know it was the night before rice. Manager put the phone down when I complained and said he would make a fresh batch and put some water over the rice. No thankyou. We will never order from here again.

El Shamnah es un lugar que he visitado probablemente 6 / 7 veces al año y he estado haciendo esto durante varios años. Nunca he probado la mejor comida asiática que siempre fallan localmente y para terminar la comida. No es caro y la cocina abierta que le permite ver su comida ser preparados. Vale la pena una visita

Been going here for a couple of years never disappointed with whatever the dish be it curry, tandoori or kebab friendly staff with open kitchen so you can see your meal being prepared, good delivery service and comes still piping hot

We often visit this takeaway and are never disappointed. The quality if the food is very high, the staff very friendly. Our favourite dishes are chicken tikka Madras, the mixed grill and chicken saag. The best takeaway in Swinton.

My son in law who lives in Monton kept telling me about this place and how good the food was he is now my favourite son in law the portions are massive the quality is excellent thank you Shamnah I will be ordering again

Largest special mixed kebab in swinton they say on menu .not telling lies the largest and best we have eaten for years.took two of us and the dog to finish.indian meals excellent jalfrezzi spot on.now get our weekly take away here,good value food and delivery very good

It is the only Indian takeaway I go to! The food is amazing, the people are wonderful and for me personally the chicken cannot be beaten! The delivery service is always a little early and the gentleman is very polite. Fantastic, don't ever close!
