Not in time delivery and not picking the calls if you order the you need to wait minimum one hour thats what i am facing right now

Food was delicious loved the vindaloo spicy and fragrant,biryani could be more wet a little dry but flavourful great value for £££

The beet byrianni I have ever had. The chicken tikka masala was superb and the rice second to none, the keema nan divine. Will definitely be ordering from here again. I would highly recomend this restaurant.

My order was not correct and arrived late. Food taste was ok, but nothing to shout about. Guess for the price it’s what you would expect. Would not be ordering again from here.

1st time ordered from here. Quality good., but received coconut nan (sorry but we can't eat that at all!!) instead of plain nan. Food was not hot but not cold- quick zap in microwave sorted it. Plentiful. shame don't offer tikka options for dishes such as rogan. Will definitely order again.

mixed biriani with very little meat for nearly 12 pound . ordered keema nan and received some random flat bread , tastless sides and no vegetable curry with the biriani

We've ordered from Shamiana many times and the food is always hot and delicious. My wife often has a biryani, which is very nice. This time she tried the chicken fried rice which was excellent. I had the lamb vindaloo which was lovely.

Bad experience while ordering food the guy is not talking properly and they kept on adding some charges really too bad experience

I have been ordering through delivery ,chicken fried rice and tandoori chicken or chilly chicken tikka . I finds the taste really good . Sometimes felt more spicy but that’s completely fine . I like the food anyways .

I ordered two items Through Uber eats . The food was tasty, but in both of the items there were some hair. We can compromise a little on the test, but how can I compromise on the hygiene? Highly disappointing, and I have to throw the food.

I have been ordering since 2 years and this place never let me down, they have good Briyani and side . I always order chicken dum Briyani, chicken 65, lamb jalfrezi, Bombay aloo and lamb Briyani they never messed up any of my order they always ask what spice level I want. They always add complimentary items which nice of them. The staff are very friendly. This is the best Briyani shop in Hatfield.

the nan was dry, empty of what was paid for. the main meal was poor and was too spicy hot to be enjoyed

great portion size but the cooking quality was low for me and that's the first. the poppadoms tasted stale and I found a plastic wrapper of some kind in my potato aloo plus the sauce was on the salty side as well

I ordered Aloo Gobi and it was worst. There was too much oil and cauliflower was hard and tough as if it was undercooked. When I ordered Aloo gobi first time from Shamiana it was good. But last time was really disappointing.

I have placed more than 4 orders from Shamiana Late Night Bites. Their food is good and tasty, but there is no way to enjoy the food we have orders because of its spice level(very very high). My mouth was burning and it was literally on fire. From biriyanis to currys.. everything is very spicy in here. Please do make your food less spicier. Because there is no point in wasting this much money for a food which we can’t even eat properly because of the spice.

Food quality is absolutely fantastic, and I will definitely order from here again. Was originally recommended by international students at the University of Hertfordshire so we gave it a go, well worth it. Delicious!

I am extremely disappointed with the taste of my food tonight, especially my chicken korma, which is just like yellow liquid with no taste at all, it doesn't even smell cocunuty after waiting for it to arrive on a second delivery due to it being missed of my original order. Usually, I am really satisfied with the food from this restaurant, but tonight it was awful. Naan was thick buttery and gooey (not like normal), korma was tasteless, chicken in korma, and tikka was a stringy chewy texture not like normal breast peices and the saga also wasn't fantastic either huge peices of onion, garlic and really thick in spinach not alot of potato's with it. It just wasn't pleasant after spending £40 and only enjoying my poppadoms and mango chutney. What a shame. I wont be eating Indian for a while now.

I ordered special briyani, lamb chops, fried rice and keema naan. Briyani doesn’t have any flavours but super spicy. Lamb chops is nice but too spicy not medium or regular spice. I also ordered a gajar halwa, it’s nothing like real gajar ki halwa.

Didn’t even arrive despite claiming it did.

This was the second time I had ordered from this restaurant, and yet again I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, freshness and the delivery times. I ordered a Chicken Korma, pilau rice and onion Bhajies …plus a plain naan bread. My order arrived nice and early (very pleasant courier) and lovely and hot too. What a lovely, tasty meal it was too!! Nice and mild, lovely and creamy Korma and gorgeously crispy bhajies!!!! Delicious. Well done!!

Excellent as ever, delivered piping hot by friendly staff. Tasty, authentic food, generous portions and great prices for what you get, not to mention the stamp card discount you can earn. Very convenient opening hours too - highly recommended.

The food doesn't taste authentic and has a sweet after taste. I would not recommend ordering the chicken tikka masala (too sweet for a curry).

Food is really not good, so salty I cannot actually eat it. And just tastes like some chilli flakes chucked in, not a standard masala either.

There was very little chicken in the biriyani. Expecting little more with the price paid.

The driver accidentally gave us someone else's order. I realised as soon as I opened the first food carton. I got a bit of food envy because it looked and smelled really good an I kinda wished I'd ordered that. I called the restaurant straight away and they called the driver while I was on the phone and he came straight back. The food was still piping hot, and my envy disappeared, because it was absolutely delicious

Really tasty curries! Also arrived with a free side of bombay aloo which was nice and appreciated! I will say I wasn't really a fan of the chilli paneer as the texture wasn't right, but overall very nice and will definitely order again.

The flavour is fantastic. Spicy and delicious. I just call Shamiana whenever I want deshi food. Their food is delicious, healthy, and Halal. They had some delivery issues in the past, but they are now doing their best to serve food on time. That is greatly appreciated.

Last night I’ve ordered food from this restaurant through Uber eats and I’ve had the Worst experience of my life with the delivery as this restaurant use their own delivery boys, 1. He was late, 2. He’s got a lot of attitude, 3. He jus refused to deliver the food at my door and said I’m not coming to your door, if you want the food come and pick up the food on the road. And finally when I opened the food even that’s not good at all . I ordered dum biryani and please don’t ask me what I got..and the chicken lollipops are even worst.. and thank god that they ran out of seek kebab and canceled it..

Ordered a Biryani and chilli nan got boiled chicken and rice and a nan with no chilli’s !!! Noting special at all average no spice when you walk in and see cobwebs in the ceiling it doesn’t inspire confidence to order food took the risk you will and you learn,

The taste of dishes is good. Only thing is that they take a lot of time to deliver food stating high demand. If there is such high demand why dont you put in people to cater to the demand accordingly? Anyways, despite if what you order in drinks, they will send in coca cola. Masala popadum is just normal popadom fully burnt in oil. Delivery guys do not have the change each and every time they come in. Either we have to give the conplete pay in cash or end up leaving the spare couple of pounds to let go off as we have no other go.

I'm indian and never really order indian food out because a lot of the time it is super sickly sweet, and spicy dishes are just full of chilli powder and not so flavourful-fine if ur into that but it's not my thing. I ordered from here last week and it was AMAZING. I asked for recommendations when ordering (staff were very helpful and nice) so that I could go for something more to my taste so I ordered the Vegetable Biriyani (comes with a veg sauce/curry), chilli paneer and the paneer tikka starter and asked for it all to be spicy and honestly it was very good quality food. The veg biryani is amazing value for 5.95 its a big portion I had left overs, and its very flavourful it has whole spices in it too! Not had biriyani since becoming vegetarian because I didn't think It would be good without chicken but this has changed my mind!! Tikka starter was perfect and the chilli paneer too. My house mate ordered lamb biryani and was able to swap his veg curry for a sag panner for a couple pounds extra which is great. Saw some bad reviews here and on just eat but im not sure why, I think it's always worth checking when you are ordering if something is going to be sweet/spicy ect, and the late deliveries stuff i'm not sure because my food was pretty speedy? I literally ordered 30 mins ago and theh just called to let me know it's on its way! Anyway not much else to say just definitey try it out if you want some authentic tasty food! :) :)

I tried Shamiana for the first time and honestly being a foodie WOW!!! I am very impressed. The chicken Dum Biryani was so yummy, never tasted anything like it within Hatfield. And the halva puri was so delicious. Proper Punjabi food.
