Shakespaw Cat Cafe in Stratford-on-Avon

This was a lovely experience, nice cup of coffee with cake, and the cats are sitting and sleeping around the cafe. The cake was delicious and cats were lovely .

Our second visit and loved it just as much. Good food and obviously cats. Romeo napped next to me the whole time and Leo put on a show by sitting on a table amongst the afternoon teas.

Cosy friendly atmosphere. Thought Leo was funny trying to get cat treats out of my husbands pocket in his coat. The food was tasty. The staff were knowledgeable about the cats.

I bought this as a surprise birthday experience for my sister after we sadly lost our own kitty at Christmas and we absolutely loved it! The cats are well cared for and each have their own little personalities. The staff were really friendly also and very helpful. We found this place to be very good value for money and would definitely come back.

One of the best cat cafes I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a lot all around Europe. Delightful cats, super nice staff, delicious earl grey tea and quirky aesthetic - all of that made my visit very enjoyable. I'm very glad I went and had this experience 👌😻👌

Great place. Cats are awesome and quite sociable. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. We had a great time. They do food and drinks. We only had drinks, but saw other people eating and the food looked nice. Prices are not bad either. This "cat cafe" is better than the Birmingham one.

Not my first visit here, but first visit for hubby and friends. Absolutely brilliant, as always, and I got to see some old familiar faces (Bottom continues to be my favourite!) as well as some new babies before they go to their forever homes. We had the privilege of seeing Romeo, Juliet and Tybalt all piled on the same chair at the same time and ate some lovely food and cake while there. This is my favourite cat cafe by far (and I've been to loads!) Their staff are lovely, the atmosphere is brilliant and the cats are all so friendly, playful and sociable. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back 🐈‍⬛🐈

If you like cats you will love this cafe. Staff were super friendly though the cats are the real stars here. Enjoyed an afternoon tea, food was excellent and good value. Well what can I say... found this as searching for things to do during my stay at Billsley Manor and We were not disappointed, we had the best time. Visited for a pot of tea after our huge breakfast and wished we'd skipped breakfast as the food looks absolutely delicious. The cafe was beautifully and very tastefully decorated. You can see the owner clearly thinks an awful lot of the cats which is wonderful. She works so so hard and didn't stop the whole hr we were there. During this time I couldnt stop going round stroking all the beautiful cats in residence there and taking their picture's, i was likethe paparazzi haha, most of them sleeping till they heard the Dreamies being opened. All in all, would I visit again, absolutely 💯 yes, and I will eat next time too. You should be extremely proud of the facility you have here , you are doing a wonderful job. Congratulations

I came with my family for a birthday celebration and we all had such a lovely time. A really beautifully decorated cafe, great atmosphere & very friendly staff. The food was delicious, freshly made and lots of vegan options, which my son said were "yummy". The cats were beautiful, lots of different characters there, and we got to interact with almost all of them over the time at the cafe. It was a great experience & we will definitely be returning for another visit. Highly recommende.

This is my second visit to this wonderful cafe. It’s a great place to visit if you are a cat lover. The atmosphere is very informal and the cafe itself is beautifully decorated. You are giving lots of information about the residents who strut about like they are in charge - they definitely are!! It’s a great place to visit if you are in Stratford and very reasonably priced as well.

I had a fab time meeting all the cats in a lovely venue. I had a fresh tea made with tea leaves and a nice piece of cake. I loved my experience and it's quite clear how much the cats are cared for and loved. I would definitely recommend.

We visited here this weekend as part of a celebration for my Dads 70th birthday as we are all huge cat lovers and this place was an idyllic haven for them and we all had the most purrfect afternoon. The cats were all friendly and well looked after and the atmosphere was super cosy and relaxed we could have stayed for hours. The kitty crumpets were super cute and my Tuna sandwich was delicious so much so that Leo was super keen to get some. The staff were lovely and informative and it all ran smoothly and the service was great. Really loved our visit and will definitely be back in the future when we visit again.

I was very skeptical but it was Purrrfect ! The staff were so welcoming and kind introducing the cats who are all rescues which I loved. They’re all well looked after and friendly and named after Shakespeare’s characters. The food and service were great too. The decor was really quirky and there was a lot of enrichment activity and privacy for the cats when they wanted it. A really lovely experience, I would go again.

We had a fantastic time at Shakespaw cat cafe. The cats were relaxed, friendly and very happy. We were able to interact with them. Great friendly service and good quality food. We are planning our next trip. Great value for money and a must for cat lovers.

We had a lovely time at Shakespaw Café! The cats are so lovely and are clearly very happy, healthy and content. It was clear to see they are very well looked after and their welfare is of the upmost importance. There was plenty of space for the cats to go away for some quiet time if they wanted but most decided to spend the afternoon with us. The food was good, but you definitely pay for the experience over the food so it wasn't anything too wow factor. We were appreciative of the age limit imposed as we have seen other cafe's that do allow young children and this can be an unpleasant experience especially when parents do not intervene if things are getting a bit too much. This was something we really admired about Shakespaw Cat Cafe. We will definitely be back!

The service was not very good as not very attentive. loved the cat but needed more cats especially after the entire fee. And it felt like a bit of a zoo inside with there door system unfortunately.

A lovely cat cafe with friendly staff, cute cats and good menu choices. Booking online is recommended. I really enjoyed a bubble tea and pancakes with berries and maple syrup. There is a booking fee online and the food/ drink prices are reasonable. A very nice, quirky cafe.

A wonderful and quirky environment, really friendly staff and the food although limited on choice and drinks were lovely, we had the pancakes which my daughter rated 10/10 and Macaroni Cheese which was a solid 8. We found some mini games to play at out table and had several encounters with the cats, our favourite being 'bottom' all in all a lovely, and unique experience, would definitely visit again.
