Shakes & Bakes in Peterborough

When ever I have ordered from here delivery has taken over an hour and a half they need to improve on their service

My local and go to dessert shop. Amazing desserts and selection. The cookie dough is always perfect and the shakes are amazing.

Food tastes nice however was cold and ice cream/milkshakes melted :(

Great food, had the his and hers along with the churos. The chicken waffle sandwich is fantastic, both sweet and spicy, the waffle is perfectly savoury without being too sweet and the churros are delightful as always. Always get an ice cream shake, they are the best in town

First time buying from here, ordered brownie waffles and they were too soft i expected crunchie or atleast more density. I would have got a crepe if i wanted it soft.. i also could not cut with the plastic knife given as were soft/rubbery,was having to fight with it. They also smelt funny, I'm not it was the batter or the choc sauce/brownies. The size of the waffle was fine tho. The cookie doughs weren't very thick, quite a thin layer of dough, tasted ok, could feel a crunch which tasted like the sugar hadn't melted properly ..overall expensive desserts for the quality. Usually only go kaspas, thought i would try this place but most likely not again. Descriptions need to be clearer online with regards to the waffles as the names dnt tell you what comes with the waffle.

I was told about the chick-waffle sandwich and was expecting it to be good. DAMN I was blown away, sweet and savoury - and the hot sauce 👌 nice touch. Delivery came sooner than expected too! Will be ordering it again - probably sooner than I’d like to admit

Best dessert place in town my go to every time! Their new savoury menu that they have come out with is so good and they give very healthy portions too!

First time ordering, late night cravings… Ordered a waffle and got 4 donuts instead. Tried to get in contact but were already closed as they took almost an hour to deliver the food…

If I could rate them even less I would had to order as I’m unable to leave the house I ordered at 8 and waited till 10:30 to be told my order was cancelled which then left me with no money no food worst place ever there literally only round the corner. No call to tell me no immediate cancel no making me wait 2-3 hours I would rate them -10

The deserts were ok very sugary

Good amount of toppings, all packed very well with a free little chocolate inside. Great service, great desserts always!

Slightly smaller than I thought it would be for the price. But tasted amazing so did the custard!

desserts were cold and we had to reheat them at home they weren't even warm they were stone cold the churros were hard and stale seemed like they were made yesterday or day before! very disappointed

The waffle had barely any toppings even though I requested for more toppings. The plus side of this was that the delivery driver did call me and was so kind to me at the door. Please make sure that the driver assignees to my order is rewarded. Thanks!

Great little dessert place, I picked it up from there. I've heard it's better to go pick up in person. Waffles - good. Could be crispier. 5/5 stars Crepe - great. No complaints. 5/5 stars Brownies - order the brownie from here but eat it cold. It's much better cold, we didn't like it warm. 4/5 Red velvet cake tasted like sweet sugary sponge, no depth of flavour. Start that from scratch. 1/5 Overall 4 stars.

Usually don't have issues with this place but today my partner ordered a snickers shake and found a 4mm piece of rubber in his drink! Extremely disappointed in this because we never really have any problems overall.

My mother and I enjoyed the food but we feel the price of the cookie dough isn't justified with the amount you receive. £8.50 is too expensive for the amount you get in my honest opinion, but it was nice to be fair

2 of my drinks were contaminated with some sort of coloured paper/plastic seal which had writing on it which can be made out saying store in a dry place, rang shakes and bakes, and they didn’t want to help at all! Never ordering from them again!

Food was cold, strawberries were hard and bitter and very little chocolate drizzled over it. Called restaurant twice, no manager available, Said manager will call me back. Didn't happen. This is the worst, food and service I have received from this company..

Brownies and cookie dough with portions of vanilla ice cream. Great tasting food. However, portion sizes and price disparity are jarring.

Normally top drawer, but was stone cold today. Also only got one ice cream tub, instead of the two that should come with the order. 😕

Never disappoints this place,always fresh and warm desserts . Good menu also so plenty of choice.

Delivery was quick and food was great, only issue was that the milkshake we ordered had spilt all over the bag so didn’t get to have that

Ordered 3 milky bar ice cream shakes - had these loads of times and are lovely, however this time we had 3 pots of plain ice cream with a few milky bar pieces on top.

Good was revolting... we all had a bite and agreed it belonged in the bin. Won't order from here again, sadly.

Forgot one of the orders and restaurant too busy to take the call so not happy

Ordered couple nights ago sept 2022 but dif device so will review on this one. The order was laughable. There is such a difference between my first orders to now. The cake was squished into a box too small for it. The mint choc chip ice-cream tastes like its the cheapest they could get...anywhere. The cookie dough was just hard and what you get isn't worth the price. I went for the fer rouche topping and they tasted stale and were inedible. My last order from this place disappointed last couple of orders.

Amazing customer service, the staff are really friendly and the milkshakes are the best in town. I walked in 15 minutes before they were closing, they looked busy but still managed to get me my order and bought it out to the car for me. Many thanks

We keep coming back for the PBB milkshake, it's amazing. Although it says you've stopped deliveries to PE2 now? Hopefully this is a mistake and is fixed!

£25 for a cold crumble on top of a soggy pancake 😆😆😆😆 £1.50 for a side order of cream… basically an empty tub. Barely anything in there

Driver was going to another house, there was also the wrong sauce on the red velvet the sauce was orange flavour. Usually shakes and bakes are good but I’m not sure what’s going on this month.

Love ordering from here, they always get my order right and always very polite drivers. Today I wasn't able to get a certain sauce but I was given another option and they threw in a little bag of skittles too! Really appreciated, great customer service as always!

I have ordered before with shakes and bakes and have always had good things to say. Today we had a delivery and the person who delivered the items wasn’t happy that we didn’t specify which floor our flat was situated on. We’ve filled out the fields from just eat which is postcode and house number. I was made uncomfortable when the delivery person was annoyed at me for not stating what floor the flat was on.

Could do with more sauce on the waffles gotta smother them in it.

This was an awful experience. I ordered 2 cookie doughs and a drink and it said it would be here for 22:25 at the latest. It arrived at just gone 11pm to the wrong house! Food was cold and had to be reheated. Was not impressed an would like a full refund.

Ice-cream split all over other items

The driver was driving around my area and was clearly lost but did not call me so I could help and just marked the order as delivered at the wrong address. 30 minutes after estimated delivery time.

£4.50 for a slice wide as a tea spoon. And £10 for a cold crepe with 1/3 banana and some sugary sauce. Shame, never again.

Food quality is always 10/10 however - the delivery driver tonight was extremely rude to me! Rang me twice to ask where to deliver; I instructed him and mind you no other driver has ever had any issue with getting to my house. Once he eventually found my door, almost broke my door down and when I opened it, he started screaming that next time he’ll leave the order someplace else, that it’s hard to get to here and that I need to F off (yes he said it explicitly like that, as he was rushing to get into the lift). He’s white, about 6”1, wears glasses, slimfit type of body and has a Middle Eastern accent - so if you ever have him, beware! I immediately contacted the restaurant about this and requested he’s blacklisted from coming to my door ever again. If he has the misfortune of ever coming to my door again - I will call the police and won’t answer for my actions until the police get here!
