I was very disappointed by the ice tea it tasted like pure water it was made with water and syrup what kind of ice tea is that charging me £2.85 for water and syrup. Do not recommend

Went in this morning for the usual blueberry croissant, purchased 2. When we opened them they were so hard you could break your teeth. They were dry and at least 3 days old. Went straight to bin. We stopped buying coffee from there as the quality went downhill- bitter coffee taste and over heated milk. Waitress hardly smiles. Won't be returning. Such a shame, used to be a great place.

Excellent coffee and service some this team. The coffee at home service is fantastic. Bean to cup machine and monthly coffee delivered everyone month for freshly ground bean brew every day! Love it.

Mediocre coffee. What latte art? Cappuccino no different to a flat white and served by staff not trained as baristas. However staff are very polite and welcoming and location is nice with lovely outdoor sitting area. They just need to train the staff to make proper coffee and it could easily be a lovely place. I would love to come back and be served a decent coffee.

First time visited Be.Ar. With my partners mum and auntie.What a great service by lovely Giusi she managed everything so well by arranging drink what wasn’t listed on the menu.Thank you so much .We will definitely visit again

Nice place, nice decor, clean and spaced out. A great cappuccino but a macchiato that was much too bitter unfortunately, I couldn't finish it...

The food is typical for a coffee shop (muffins, cakes, paninis and toasted sandwiches, the coffee is outstanding quality and a lot better than cafe neros, Costa and Starbucks. Its nice especially as its now cold outside to sit in and watch the madness that is peterborough cathedral Square. Brings a touch of class to this otherwise rank city.

Nice location. The pastry are industrial however the bomboccini and cannellonis croccanti are worth a try but the pastry looks a bit industrial.

The small selection of coffee from this local business is excellent and makes for a tasty brew (wherever made in a stovetop, chemex, French press or as a pour-over brew). However and unfortunately I did find that the shop floor staff members attention to the needs of individual customers - me in this round - will improve with a little awareness training. And notwithstanding the just said the coffee here is good, and I am just about to this minute order a big bag of my favourite caffeine-mind-fix from this excellent coffee outfitters. Keep it local!

hands down one of the best coffee shops in Peterborough town centre. The milkshakes are my absolute favourite. Visit here for work meetings, the atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Do not feel rushed to move on sitting in here. And the quality of drinks and food is wonderful. The staff are so warm and welcoming. Would recommend to others!

I've been subscribing to the BE. AR. HOUSE BLEND COFFEE for over two years now! I can safely say that it is one of the best blended coffee beans you can buy. The cost performance is excellent and the consistency is remarkable. Gareth does an amazing job with the roasting but also his customer service is fantastic. He is never too busy to reply to my e-mails or text and is happy to give advice. When I started out on learning how to make my own espresso during the lock-down, his advice and support was invaluable. Strongly recommend anyone thinking about taking out a subscription, to consider this!

This nice café is in the Peterborough square, with seats inside and outside, they serve lovely coffee with a continental feeling, there is a good range in cakes, staff were friendly, a good meeting point.

Only had drinks here. Alittle expensive but I'm guessing their rent is high? Quick service but there wasn't many waiting. Staff were talking loudly amongst themselves.

Ordered some of the house blend (whole bean) from here from the online store. Can confirm, it was a really really good set of coffee beans. My dosing was 14g in, 28g out. Milk added to prepare it as a flat white.

We were directed to this cafe by a member of staff at Peterborough Cathedral who had said that they served good coffee. The cafe is a traditional sort of Italian place, tastefully decorated, comfortable, relaxed with really young but professional, friendly and helpful staff who were coping well with the busy lunchtime trade. Coffee lived up to the review and was really good, the accompanying cakes were fresh and really tasty, the whole experience gave us a nice refreshing lift to the day. Toilets were fresh and clean with a good supply of soap and hot water. We really enjoyed our visit to this traditional cafe that served good coffee with a smile.

A wonderful spot, I spent the afternoon here, working whilst my daughter and friend went shopping. The staff were friendly and the milkshake and cheesecake were delicious. Thank you

Went by yesterday afternoon. Worst customer service. Wanted to use the toilet urgently. When asked about the toilet I got a response saying "it's there on that end", then I responded saying that there was only a disabled toilet and asked if it was okay for me to go in there? I got denied and told off by the same guy that "it was for customers only". I explained that I was going to order a coffee but got back rude and careless comments from a guy who works there with no apologies. The lady who was his coworker also didn't seem to care about the situation. Will never come back. Ended up going to Starbucks in the end.

Found this by chance on a day trip. Unusual choice of food which we both really enjoyed.  I had the arancini  with aubergine and cheese. Such a change from the usual lunch time choice. Also had pistachio aragostine, divine.

After the first visit, made this the 'go to' place for a lovely coffee and toasted sandwich. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful cup of coffee. A lovely place to sit and chat, no loud music. Didn't have any food as we had just eaten, but it did look delicious. Staff were friendly and the prices were competitive. Will visit again when next in Peterborough.

Made me feel very uncomfortable one of the staff that makes the drinks went round the corner and started to dig his finger in his mouth I’m guessing he was trying to take something out in between his teeth, after he done that he went behind that bar and started making drinkings without actually washing his hands, I immediately left and didn’t drink my coffee absolutely disgusting 🤢 no hygiene whatsoever 🤢

My favourite coffee joint- it's warm and cosy, the coffee is excellent and so are the baked goods. Great milkshakes in Summer as well. Staff are fantastic.

Great venue with lovely food... the al fresco area could do with a restyle, it's a little covid shelter, but could be amazing. The staff are great, drinks amazing and cafe cute...

Excellent coffee, and vegan sausage rolls, another customer recommended them to us, as they were the only savoury ones left and they were very good, we wouldn't have known they were vegan if we hadn't been told.

Great coffee and lovely atmosphere for a get together with friends. Cannot believe Peterborough City Council wants to remove their bring the outside in structure. I thought they wanted a nice cafe culture vibe in the city centre and I thought they had received funding to encourage this. You can always rely on our City Council to backtrack!!

Good spot in town, strong coffee which I loved. Nice decor inside, wish I took a picture. They have some selection of sandwiches and Italian desserts/sour snacks.

Had a lovely hot chocolate, juice and coffee here. Was nice to sit outside in the cubicle sections. Inside looked very nice and sleep with a basement seating area and I was SO glad to find food available for gluten, dairy and egg free people! Though limited as expected, it was fantastic I could actually buy something my young daughter could eat! Thank you for the options. It made her day. It also appears to be accessible for wheelchair users. I didnt particularly notice any lips at the door. I shall confirm next time I pass by.

Big coffee shop with a lovely variety of food and drink. The ambience is nice and different to other coffee chains. However, the tables are too close together and I wasn't wowed with the customer service, which is always a plus. Instead it was less than basic.

This was only the 2nd time we'd visited here, been shopping in peterborough 100's of tines before but strangely never tried the coffee ☕ here ☺ We both love coffee, and consider ourselves to be big coffee lovers, so know a decent cup when we have one. I'm happy to say the coffee here is very good, both our Flat White, and Latte were great. Only slight niggle was they could do with being a bit hotter, but that's totally a personal preference and next time we visit we'll ask for it to be made hotter 👍

Calm environment, delicious coffee, wouldn't be bad to have more gluten free vegan options dough, like different cakes and gluten free bread (for toasts), just an opinion, not criticism.
