This is the GOAT of midnight scran after a couple joints. Seriously banging food, come with your pals or by yourself. I wouldn’t bring your mrs here bc where it’s located is nothing short of a shitthole but the food is banging and they offer upstairs seating

Dirty food last night I ordered but it was taste less and roti was really really hard

Ordered 3 curries, 4 starters and 1 naan kebab and 4 drinkers. The food was excellent. Ordered as a take away. Super quick service and the food was still hot when we arrived home

I recently visited this restaurant and had a terrible experience. From the moment I walked in, the man at the counter was giving me dirty looks and acting superior. When I placed my order, there was a misunderstanding on both sides, but instead of handling it calmly, he spoke to me rudely, assuming I wouldn't respond. However, his attitude changed completely when he talked to his fellow countrymen. I am paying my money and therefore deserve a basic level of respect.

The person who took my order was super rude, very disrespectful, 1/10. I know I was treated badly because of my skin colour, he was treating his own country people correctly. If you have a business, just try to be professional (my opinion)

Just ordered for the first time Donna in nan and Donna meat chips salad mayo chilli was very good really enjoyed it highly recommended

The mixed Donner on nan. Always ask for the extra pot of their special hot chilli sauce. Open till 4/5 am so that's a juicy bonus

Bought a mix naan consisting of seekh kebab, chicken boti and meat boti. Absolutely horrible. Meat really hard not cooked, chicken hard and seemed old. DO NOT GO

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had as a diner. The starters came as grilled goodness. The mains we ordered was the donner Nan and some meat Curries which were excellent. The chef made our curries with a smile. Our server made sure we had all areas covered and made our dining experience. Immaculate. The floor has an open kitchen to where you can see your food being made. They also have a desert section to die for with their ice creams milkshakes and faloodas. The only thing I see as a problem was that the mango lassi was finished. I recommend this to families, late night goers and couples.

Frist time in a while that me and my partner have got food from here but I have to say did not let us down I loved it only complaint was I asked for chill sauce on my kebab but there was nothing to cry about bit of a wait but we'll worth it u don't mind waiting if the food as u know it will nice and it was 😋

Visited here a few times to say this is an Asian run eatery the dishes do not have that much spice or flavour. Had the sheekh kebab & the chicken Tikka kebab. Also tried the biriani. Not the friendliest of places either

Really poor quality food. Portion size tiny, they claim a £11.75 mixed grill will feed 2 people - no chance !!! All the meat was cut down to half or even a quarter of the size. Very disappointed.

Chips so stale and undercooked you'll be throwing them out the car window on your drive home

Late night food available, if you ever get hungry at the middle of the night, this is the place to visit

Ordered naan kebabs which were ok, and chicken and chips. The chicken was dry and hard like rocks, not freshly fried. Not good for the stomach. Very poor

Got a donner on nan and chicken wings from here at 3:20am. Placed order on phone and collected after 20 minutes. Donner on nan had probably 5 slices of donner and chicken wings where absolutely disgusting. Hard and dry wings definitely not fresh. Also bought a paneer masala dish which was also dreadful. Dont like throwing food in the bin but i had no choice! And i had the privilege of paying £22.10 for this disgusting food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Odd taste to most the food we tried portions of curry (barely a plate full ) donner kebab and grilled meats were not of the best quality considering prices . Lamb chops and wings were decent

I guess you can literally sell any inferior quality food if your the only one open late.. I've never had worse samosas you can easily get much better quality from the petrol station. And the naan kebab yep the bread wasn't even fully cooked through and the meat 6 slices of donner meat and 8 very small pieces of chicken was absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely beautiful, great staff very hospitable 100% recommend. Definitely have a desi chai at the end to top it off.

My old and all time favourite- Desai food and then a desert to go...modern mix of authentic versus takeout and a great selection of deserts...well done

If you want to have some really desi style food, I would recommend it. I visited other restaurants in Leeds, they have nice ambience, but food was not upto the mark. Here you may not get excellent ambience, but you can get really 100% desi style food. I really appreciate it.

My friend and I visited this place after two years and to be frank it was absolutely dreadful while we had a half decent experience last time but this time everything was off or old. Wont be coming back. Also the attitude of the owner or manager at the counter wasnt acceptable and he didnt admit any of our concerns.

Food was not nice. Donner naan was cold meat. I suspect not fresh due to dry texture. The sauce which I asked for chilli was infact a BBQ gravy. Not nice at all. We all agreed it was not fit for consumption so in bin. I would not recommend this take away.

Visited today. Never again. Donner meat soaked in a barbecue sauce…loads of it…wasn’t spicy, just odd taste. Naan bread was soaked in it and we ended up binning the food. I would not recommend to others.

So first time trying this place. I didn’t even know this was here I was just looking for somewhere new to get a takeaway. I ordered kebab meet and chips which was served with salad and chilli sauce. The chilli sauce i got was served warm which Ive never had from any other shop and was not too hot(spice). Service was pretty quick I didn’t have to wait long at all. From walking in to walking out. In total about 15-20 mins I was in there. I also got a sundae ice cream which was ready made in a glass which was really good. In total everything came to just over £10 which included my drink. Overall I am really happy with the place.

Very poor. I had chicken karahi with bones. It was extremely low quality, no taste , very poor chicken meat. Even a child can cook better. Whole night my tummy was hurting..the smell of that gravey could not go away from my fingers. I never seen such a poor quality in the last 25 years .very very poor

Burnt mix grill and kebab. Looked like cat food and had no taste. Took too long aswell. Avoid this place.

Shocked at how terrible this place was. The meat was tasteless, luke warm, burnt, tough and took ages to arrive. Was a chore to eat. Would never return and would strongly urge others not to go. 1 star given just for the soft naan - it's saving grace.

Only thing was fresh was the naan bread . The chicken and meat tikka was reheated in microwave and re fried. The seek kebab was hard and over done.

Unfortunately the owner is very aggressive and rude. We were greater with hofing and puffing then from the seating area me and my friends witnessed how he abused one of the staff by shouting and physically abusing the poor guy. It put us off the food. The food there was nothing to complain about apart from the portions were a bit small but was palatable. Still feel sorry for that guy 😔

Absolute garbage the donner stunk and the chips was soggy, had 1 bite and felt sick. The very next day I couldn't eat I can easily say the worst food I have ever had and the 2 guys serving my food look like they not taken a shower for a while. I dont know what smelt worse the workers or the donner meat!! Eirher way I wont ever be coming back. This place has really gone down hill used to be 1 of my favourite late night takeaways but I'd rather eat my toilet seat before I ever come back. Stay clear!!

My go to place for a donner & naan.

We were around 7 people on a cold night and reached shai naan. you have order and pay before you sit down for the meal. We ordered lamb tandoor, lamb curry, rotis. Lamb tandoor was not at all soft and to remove the meat from the bone was a task. i could see lot of meat on the bones after we finished it, Best thing was the lamb curry roti and the salad they provide. unfortunately in UK you wont get spicy chillies to accompany your food. once the main course was done we ordered falooda which was just basic not those ones which you will find in india rich ones i mean.

Wow just had on amazing curry from there full of flavour would recommend this place

The food certainly wasn't the worst I've had, run of the mill, you get what you pay for. The wait times though are way too long felt like we were pushed to the back of the queue constantly while regular spot or certainly people known to the workers were dealt with Quickly and efficiently.

Unfortunately it was a waste of time going here, the staff were rude and standing there doing very little but didn't have the good manners to even acknowledge my presence and say please be seated we will be with you in a minute. I went down the road to Spice Hut and received a warm welcome and won't bother visiting this place again

Great spot if you're lurking on a night looking for places to eat. It's traditional pakistani/Indian cuisine. It's opened till late. It is however on the pricey side.

Very poor service , no ventilation in the lounge, tasteless boiled peri peri chicken , fish was one small piece that too soggy , their chicken burgers are the usual 99p fillet burgers so do check before ordering. The guy at till seems like he had been been stung by bees …..

If you want a no frills meal out, this is the place. The curry's are decent, they also have other fast food meals such as kebabs and burgers so good if you have a family. It's cheap and cheerful and better than some of the Indian restaurants in the city Centre.

my friend and i had finished a late shift at about 3am and wanted t get food and we seen that Shai Nan was open. as we walked in, the smell got to my nose and i was immediately hesitant on ordering here but it was late and we had no other choice but to starve. because of the smell, i didn’t trust them to make a healthy and edible chicken burger so i just settled for a cheeseburger and it was just an average barbecue style grilled burger which i ate, nothing special however my friends donner meat was dry, uncooked and had sauce just poured on top of it , tasted as bad as it looked. only plus i can give this place is we got our food very fast, which doesn’t surpise me as it was 3am and we were the only ones there. below mid

Had the Naan Chapel Kebab and I’d give it a 7/10. Served fairly quickly. However experienced pretty bad digestion issues day after - wouldn’t want to come again. A senior staff was also pretty rude in responding with one of my friends request. There are better ways to conduct yourself to a large group of customers.

Not been for many many years food was still top notch they have the best nan kebabs, the desi tea wasn’t as good as it used to be but the uncle who used to make that isn’t here anymore it seems.

This place is no where near the same it was 15 year ago. Horrendous food.. Gave me the right runs next morning and the next couple of days. Avoid.

Good customer service and quick service. Food came within 15 minutes. Had the chicken tikka with naan with chilli and mint sauce along with a drink. It is reasonable price and seating downstairs and upstairs. Friendly members of staff. There is some near by street parking here.

The kebab isn't the same as before and also the person who is making the nan isn't as good as the previous person thin base nan and gets hard within seconds please avoid this place at all cost for donner kebab with na zero rating 😒
