Was given a tip off to try here, recently changed name but same staff so was a little dubious, wow what a suprise, the food was amazing, the taste was so fresh and so tasty the service was great the price was good.

chips were under cooked some still cold, mint and chutney sauce was warm, poppadoms were soggy, delivery driver didn't once phone me but when I stopped him in the street he said he been driving past my house a few times and couldn't find it

There were things missing from my delivery and I called to tell them. I rang again once the original item hadn't been delivered, as well as to tell them that the drinks that we ordered hadn't arrived either. The person on the phone was rude to me and tried to get out of giving me the items that I had already paid for. Once everything arrived, the naan was burned and the drinks were not what we ordered. I would not order from them again as the customer service was almost non existent and the food was poor in itself

Great as always, although no Dhansak or Tandoori Roti on the menu is disappointing.

Turned up an hour early. Delivery driver phoned me after 5 mins of waiting at address I got there 5 mins later. Warm salad, chutney and mint sauce. Food was not hot.

Lovely food as usual, delivery was on time and delivery guy is always pleasent. Will be ordering again. My only issue is the £3 delivery, if I rang them to deliver I'm sure it's free over £15.

Phoned and pretended someone had tried to deliver but no one was in and I didn't Answer my phone just because they were running late. I know nobody came as dominos found us fine and we were sat with the door open. Good food though very tasty

Meat samosa was filled with what seemed like mashed potato- unable to eat them . Jalfrezi had no chili in it - too mild. Plain chicken curry was ok . Won't be rushing to go back

After having quite a few orders, usually I find that the delivery time is very very long and they always forget something. This time nothing was forgotten and the delivery was earlier than estimated. Food is always delicious!

Usually outstanding but not sure what was going on last night. Restaurant added another 30 minutes on. Take away meal showing that it had arrived on the app and still nothing, phoned the restaurant advised that it was on its way, ended up delivering 1 3/4 hours after order being placed. Everything luke warm. Usually outstanding but everything poor last night.

After eating in the restaurant last week we thought we'd try the take away service. It's just as delicious and would recommend either sit in or take out. Best quality Indian meal in a long while and will definitely be back.

The mosalla was open and spilled out into the bag covering everything and the popadoms had shattered into tiny pieces rendering them useless for the Pickle tray we ordered. Also it was only warm and about 20 minutes late. But food was nice.

Quick and prompt. Chicken tikka pieces were very nice but the sauce lacked any spice. Naan bread was soggy and not crisp and crips were not cook... ordered before and was nice, this time very disappointed

The order turned up 50 minutes late and when it arrived there were missing items. Called to complain to have the order refunded for what was missing as was put on hold to which I had to put the phone down as my food was going cold. Really unhappy with this service and would appreciate a call back to get my money back.

Note -This was a collection so delivery rating no applicable.....Above average Indian takeaway no question, however I found I needed to add a little more salt to the food which is unusual for takeaways. However, would rather under seasoned than over, and the overall taste is excellent, and nice to have Indian food not swimming in oil as so many are. Will order again .

Best Indian I've had in years , don't usually level a review but chicken was big unlike the few pieces you get else were . Couldn't eat it all nor could my partner . Very filling. 10 mins later than delivery time said but it was worth the wait!!!!!

I've always had excellent food from here but tonight I was a bit dissapointed the chicken in the korma was tough and dry, I took the chicken out in the end, and the nann bread didn't have much coconut in it. Hope this was just a one time thing as I was very happy with all my other orders

Food was delivered to me hot and in very good time. The quality of the food was quite exceptional, with extremely tasty, well-spiced curry and succulent pieces of chicken. A delicious meal.

The tika tasted like it had a months worth of salt in one dish, and the delivery was half an hour past the original promised delivery (we had to go and search for the driver who couldn't find our address). We will go back to the Tamarind again, this was not our usual experience with them.

The meal arrived 30 minutes late, which is unusual. Food quality was good.

This restaurant has been in Abergavenny for many years bur has recently changed name but Abul is still there,. This Restaurant is well presented with food and service excellent, nothing is a problem and all tastes catered for.
