Delivered on time, piping hot, great price. Chilli chicken chips delicious. Chicken tikka + donner wrap lovely plenty of sauce. Portion of chips with red salt the best chips ive had in a long time, cooked to perfection! Will be back soon thank you

Been going here for over 30 yrs ,same family running it all that time, great food struggle to beat it in my view ,and iv tried

I messaged them to see if there was any nuts in there curries bare in mind my mum is allergic they was taking a bit to reply so I rang the restaurant to find out instead whoever answered the phone said he does not use any nuts in his curries and I clarified to him that my mum is allergic to nuts so I had to make sure he said non of the curries have nuts so I went to place an order I get a phone call of the restaurant saying how can I help I told him I just rang and was wondering if any of the curries have nuts he then tells me they do and gave me loads of attitude just because I told him that whoever answered the phone told me they didn’t so if I didn’t answer that second call my mum could of been killed or seriously I’ll in hospital never ordering from here bad service with terrible attitude towards customers

Absolutely fabulous food, got a takeaway it was hot and plenty of food too. The chicken samber was just delightful and the wife’s tikka masala was gorgeous. Used this takeaway before and it never fails in taste and presentation. A must go to takeaway 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍

Food was brilliant very considerate of allergies and catered to fit. Very welcoming and even welcomed us with fruit to try. Very good prices and amazing food even added in a few extras. Would 100% recommend!!!! Best takeaway about- the customer service is unreal here.

Best curry house in Accrington...

Have used Shaha Joli on and off since it first opened. Most have been good. But not this time unfortunately… starter good but main tasteless…also staff quite rude when ordering food! will not be using again

Have used Shaha Joli since it first opened , probably some 20+ years ago. food has been good for the majority of time but have had the odd hitch. what now puts us off a little is the continuing rise in prices, and the recently introduced charge for deliver ( we live 1/2 a mile away ) I feel all these rises in cost were introduced due to Covid when you had no option = and have stuck.

Ordered via just eat, no confirmation 15 minutes late. Called up and very politely asked why this would be, was met with multiples ‘we’re not on just eat, it’s your problem if you have ordered off there’ despite them having taken my money 😂 Ended up having to put the phone down on the man as he was so rude and unhelpful. Will never go again and would advise anybody else not to.

Been getting take away from here 30yr and can't fault, that's why we keep going back. Tonight we got to kebabs off there new menu, a chicken tikka and sheep. Both served on a naan with salad and amazing. Will definitely get them again

Delicious warm food, the seek kebab sandwich is a must, onio bhaji nice and crispy full of flavour. Chicken is also nice, will definitely be ordering again and would recommend to others. Delivery man was really nice and polite, no issues at all.

Whent for a Curry take out, you see them cooking it, very organised & quick, very friendly the curries we selected was very tasty, they have a very good selection of curries on the menu, very clean & fresh produce, excellent👍

Ordered from here and the delivery guy was very rude, didn’t tell us in advance that their card machine wasn’t working so I walked to the nearest cash machine which was a 15 minute round trip which I explained to him and even apologised, he insisted on me giving him the food back and said he’d do his next delivery and come back, 10 minutes later he rang me swearing at me for keeping him waiting! I tipped him and again was very apologetic, none of us have ever been so poorly in our life after eating that meal! I’m not saying it’s the restaurant’s fault but something definitely wasn’t right!

Ordered Tandoori Chicken with a curry sauce. Chicken was extremely tough. Not good at all. The curry was a good consistency but complete lack of flavour. Overall a poor meal was delivered.

What a poor experience from this Indian phoned at 7 pm and placed my order and I live 5 minutes away. Phoned again at 8 .pm and asked where my delivery was to be told it’s late because they are busy and was told food would be 10 minutes. Phoned again at 8.25 and was told it’s on way . Delivery arrived at 8.30 with an apology , i said to the guy nobody is that busy to take 90 minutes and that you probably forgot about the order. I will not be using them again order at your peril

Best curries ,clean and tidy shop. Super friendly staff. Watch them cook your food. Highly recommended this place. Tasty food.

Excellent curry fast service very hot when arrived. We ordered meal for 4 people and each dish was excellent lots of chicken in all the curries the starter was excellent. Definitely recommend fast service and lovely staff thanks.

Chicken tikka wrap was stone cold. Chips were soggy and the lamb in the biryani was like chewing rubber. Terrible!

I'm afraid I need to change my previous review due only to the attitude of the delivery driver. My street isn't the best to drive down but I don't expect to be told "we won't be delivering here again, this road is bad" and continued to argue when I advised he drive slowly .my reply was ok well I won't order again, he waved his hands around & said good - ??? I've been going to this takeaway for YEARS! I really hope he is reprimanded for this. Now is not the time for bad customer service & loss of business.

The food is brilliant! Not one complaint! Great spices and flavours and the meat it so nice! I would 100% recommend if you are in the area and the service is great! 10/10!

We have ordered from shaha joli on several occasions and despite forgetting things from our order numerous times we still went back. However i cant say this will be the case anymore. The staff taking orders over the phone are rude and cant wait to get rid of you. I was continuously shouted at that ‘he couldn't hear me’ although the noise was on his side as it sounded like he was stood in the middle of the kitchen. I understand they may be busy but rushing a customer through an order is frustrating. Chicken korma was runny, more like soup and was tasteless. Safe to say we will be avoiding from now on. Obviously busy enough without my custom!

Friendly staff. Good quality food. Liked the cards you can save stamps for a free meal after a few meals. Good portions. Easy to get too

Ordered a lamb garlic curry and a lamb shashlik sandwich. Whilst the meat was well-cooked and tender, the curry was devoid of heat and flavour. Also was 20 minutes late from promised delivery time. Never again.

I've used these many times. Probably a few hundred times actually and even though they have the odd off day and forget the odd thing, they are consistently the best in the area. The nann breads are the best in Accrington too.

Had a delicious meal delivered on Saturday evening. Ordered online and delivered well within time slot. Order was correct and the food was hot and very tasty. Well done guys.

Awful tonight , tarka dahl like water, lamb curry tough as boots. Chappatis cold and wet in elastic bag, riata (????) Greek yoghurt! Sooo bad. Never again!

Love the food here! It is reasonably priced and very tasty! I did once make a mistake of assuming all Rogan Josh dishes were the same spice heat, as I was used to West Lancashire curries. Definitely, more spicer in East Lancashire! My favourite dishes are karai,biryanis and shashlick. (Apologies for the spelling). They deliver too, with a small charge, usually have to wait around 45mins for this. Decent curry! I’m getting hungry writing this!

Regularly come back to these for our Indian take out, last time they made a mistake with the order but rectified reasonably quickly, but generally quite good.

First visit after a recommendation. my fella went in tonight and apart from them putting mint sauce instead of mango chutney the food was very good rice was fluffy not thick as from most places and the curry very tasty.

Exactly as ordered and very tasty too. Great value and hot when delivered. Only comment was time for delivery but to be fair I was notified when order placed. Well done.

So disappointed with meal....everything just tasteless. Orderd chicken tikka rogan josh and tasted of tomato no kick to it what so ever. Bland as anything and totally overpriced. Disgusted and defo won't return again

Simply the best curries in Accrington

We've been having takeaways from Shaha Joli for a long number of years, and the quality has always been excellent. Meals are not too hot unless you order the heat and always delivered in the time quoted. The nearest thing to restaurant sit in food we have found, at a decent price too.

Just received our first order. Weak. Cheap chicken dropped in a sweet sauce, the sauce dropped off th e chicken (like frozen chicken that I give to my dog) Ordered chicken Bhuna and jalfrezi, both in the same sauce? Weak as anything. Chicken pale and rubbery. 1st and last. Emergency food. 🖓sorry folks, lovely staff though. Mega disappointed..

Over the past twenty years I've enjoyed regular curries from here and I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. Whenever friends visit they always insist we have a takeaway from Shaha Joli. Keep up the good work.

So many memories of this takeaway. My first curry was from there and I've never looked back. The curry can be watery sometime but the one thing I always went back for was the special rice. I live of them when I was a teenager.

we go regularly to shaha joli the food never lets you down we get it delivered and they always get the order correct and on time everything is always fresh it is a very good takeaway

Been here twice within the last 2 months and both times both curries were very watery tasteless so will not be returning! Pleasant staff and on time.

I love a curry and have tried a number of different takeaways in the area over the years but always come back to the Shaha Joli. It just cannot be beaten. I always go with the Vegetable Bhuna Masala with rice or chips, garlic bread and popadoms (obviously) I can't recommend this place enough. While writing this review in secretly thinking of suggesting we order one for tea although my wife won't be impressed !! Visit it now, they have a great full menu. Something for everyone. Now where's the number.......

Very fresh and fast service value for money, chicken tikka chilli chips are amazing. We will defo go again

I always pop in here when I return home. The food is great value with set meals at £16 for two starters, 2 mains, rice and naan bread. The food is all specially cooked to order and very tasty. I can recommend the chicken tikka balti delight. Portions are very generous. The takeaways come with a small bag of salad and cucumber dip and slices of lemon. You also get one token for every £5 you spend that gives you a free main when you collect ten tokens.

Very good quality and enjoyable food 99 times out of 100. Good delivery times and few mistakes made have been rectifed quickly. Been a satisfied customer for over ten years now :-)
