Simply indian in Hyndburn

I tried chicken tikka today it was really bad the chicken was raw and sweet also very disrespectful staff

Not as good as expected. Won't use again.

What a lovely, friendly, welcoming and clean looking place. I enjoyed the food, though my only criticism is the chicken pieces were too big and not “tikka” style as I requested. Although not the best Indian in town, if I were to compare the dishes I’ve had at both, I will try more food from here and perhaps my opinion and star rating will improve. 06/01/19 Gosh how things have changed. The curry I ordered was very bland. Much better up the road and cheaper. Nov 2023 Had become worse. Had a samber with no lemon 🍋 😜

Hi all Truck driver passing through area need evening meal before bedding down lot's of takeaway experience I popped in here last night because of 1st delivery in morning 1st time visit to here I have tried others on that Main Rd it is on I was looking at the menu for a curry I had down in the Litchfield area earlier on in the week but the name of the curry had went out of my head I explained the type to the lad who was great he said it can be made no problem & it was the word I said the 1 I had from somewhere else was WOW the word for it here is WOW, WOW lads that was beautiful thank you now when in the area I will only be heading for you, s 👍 very nice

If I could I would give this place 0 star, I’ve no idea about ambience or staff cause we ordered online, as an Indian this food is atrocious at best, we ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken which tasted exactly the same and were bland and SWEET for some reason? Honestly will not be ordering ever again. If this Indian food then I’m the pope

Absolutly love this place, your rogan josh is awesome, love the samosas chicken for me , they even accommodate my wife's odd request for a keema korma 🤣 which she loves , great chapatis , love the food great customer service and deliver when they say , look nowhere else for a brilliant curry accompanied with great service

Ordered a takeaway from simply Indian... The starters were good, the appetiser wasn't what we was expecting as for the mains, both were swimming in oil and you could taste the fat used on the chips. Quite disappointed considering how much we spent. Won't be a returning customer.

Wow, this place is so good. Not had a bad meal yet. Tonight I had the Ameeri Murugh absolutely amazing, so good I didn't want it to end. Can't wait to try more although I think il have the same again. All food hot, onion bhaji crisp and tasty, the mixed starter is so fresh and full of flavour. Our new favourite takeaway, yum. Have ordered from here a number of times. The curry’s are absolutely beautiful and stand out taste wise from any others in the area for takeaway orders.

Came across this place during lockdown, so glad I did, service is good, pleasant staff average prices, the only down fall is the starters aren’t very good, but that’s my opinion, everything else is great.

I live in Rishton and have tried many places but nothing beats this in my view. Favourite dishes we buy are Chicken Tikka Badami is a nice mild alternative, especailly if you like nuts. King Prawn Chilli Tikka Masala & King Prawn Samber are great too. Lover the peshwari naan and Special Fried Rice

I'm so fussy with indians and can never find one I enjoy... this one however is a definite return! All the food was delicious and decent price, will be returning!

Very pathetic Indian food ... very pricey at the same time .... the Chef definitely needs a cooking lesson otherwise how can you go wrong making a simple dal or how can mutter paneer be chole cheese

By far the best Indian takeaway in East Lancashire. Food is delicious and fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

My elderly parents Ordered a delivery for 5.30pm when rang to ask were delivery was they said it had been delivered twice when it hadn't I received a call at 8.30pm from delivery driver sat outside some random address as they had my number from me ringing to complain I told him to take it back as it would have been cold n they had ordered prawns which you wouldn't want to reheat again the service was appalling they were not bothered at all about how my parents had been treated and we will now be trying to get a refund DO NOT ORDER from here

Ordered a take away for 5-30. It is now 8pm still no delivery. Phoned them 3 times & they promised it wouldn’t be long then they stopped answering my call. I have paid for it don’t know if I can get money back. If you still decide to order DO NOT PAY UP FRONT. I will never order from them again

Tried first time tonight 2/10/2020 Best onion bhaji we've had, samoso was really good and fresh. We had chicken pathia, you can have it mild or hot we opted for hot and wasn't disappointed, all fresh and tasty food, will definitely use again..

Our 4th take away meal and we are always very impressed with the quality and portion sizes and delivery period. No photos as we just can't wait to get stuck in to the dishes. 2 starters 2 sides and 2 curries will give us at least 4 meals altogether as we can freeze most of it for another time. Ordered on line Uber eats can get discount and ring the take away with any specific requirements. Highly recommended.

Very good food big choices but a little bit £ worth it

Ordered three curries from Simply Indian they give us all the same curry we was not a able eat it as we have all got blisters in our mouth from the curry called Simply Indian back to raise the matter with them and they’re not prepared to do anything they said bring it back and they could’ve resolve it I told him it was in the bin and they are not prepared to do anything bad service do not buy from them I think we got what was left over at the end of the night 👎🏼

Ordered of uber eats it took 2 hours 25 minutes to arrive rang the shop they told me it was out for delivery my food arrived 30minutes after the phone call

after spending ages registering for online service;we ordered our food and payed online,it said that it would be an hour but we thought it will be worth it,an hour and a half later we rang to see if there was a problem,the man didnt even know anything about it,however he said he woud sort it. when it arrived it was almost cold and the food wasnt good at all the only taste was a strong tomato paste that overpowered everthing else.i dont think we will be bothering again.

Had numerous different dishes from here - all excellent. Delivery always on time always arrives hot and fresh.

Simply Indian is simply brilliant. Their food is so so good! Everything is fresh and I love the Balti dishes. The breads are very tasty. I need to have my order delivered as I can rarely leave the house but it is always delivered in very good time and nothing is too much trouble. The delivery guys are really friendly and polite. All in all a great food experience every time!

Hands down the freshest and tastiest tikka massala I've eaten from a takeaway, and I'm very fussy! Always arrives on time and hot. We love the bhajis and samosas too, they are very fresh and crispy. The chicken kebabs are really amazing too. Highly recommend!

Always go here over any other Indian. Every time the staff are superb and always add little touches. The food is incredibly tasty and so fresh, better than most restaurants near by! Always recommend simply Indian to our friends and family and never had a bad word back!! I highly suggest going here for a cracking Indian

Great quality Indian takeaway, cooked to perfection. My only wish that I could ring in my order and pay by credit or debit card in store as well as via Just Eat, this is my only critism. The food is great, you will not be disappointed.

Just ordered the slim range chicken jalfrezi. I asked for full rice instead of half as we shared between 2. It was absolutely delicious. I ate the salad and it tasted so fresh. Im doing slimming world so not sure of syns. Amazing Friday night takeaway and we are fussy.

For an Indian takeaway I wouldnt think of going anywhere else but here. consistently excellent. I order from here far more than I should but its so good! If you dont eat meat but eat fish, I recommend the Tandoori salmon and Pathia sauce.

Called in for a Lamb Madras on my way home from friends, order took about 10 mins to make. During that time the staff give my G/kids a box of Maltesers to share Free Popadom too. Food was brilliant. Dofo being going again!

Ordered a delivery on a few occasions now and its been superb every time. Very quick delivery, friendly staff and most importantly very delicious curries. Last night I went for the Bombay Jalfrezi which was excellent... the delivery guy even gave us a free chocolate orange - nice touch! Will definitely be ordering from here again, particularly as it is such good value too!

Absolutely amazing food! The staff were so lovely and even gave us little extra touches which just went the extra mile to make our meal even better! We picked up our order and the place was so clean and smelt amazing, all which i think are very important from a takeaway...we will definitely be going again as it was excellent value for money.
