Ordered from these guys for years have always delivered but today placed an order that was cancelled and I won’t get my money back until 5 working days and told me it’s too far away when they have always delivered to me and also says on their website “we deliver here” and when I call them they are rude and say what do you want us to do now absolute joke your loyal customers have now gone never ordering again I’ll take my money elsewhere

Took over 90 mins for it to be delivered, had to call to find where it was...no apology...then the food...wow, never seen more grease in my life, everything soaked and spilt, bag stained my kitchen worktop's for days with the grease stains kept on everything...portions were OK but the grease was off-putting instantly

Despite the lateness food was worth it and would order again

I know taste is absolutely objective, but I'm saddened that this place has now changed hands! What was once, restaurant quality food has now slipped into mediocre, stereotypical run of the mill Indian takeaway! Chicken, tiny, dry, overcooked, and miserly portions. Sauces over-sweetened with sugar, colourings, and everything smothered in coriander! and soooo bland! Portion sizes have shrunk massively also! So sad, because what was once a little gem has now turned into your usual, blink-and-you'd miss it take-away! I'll sadly be going somewhere else after all these years.

The foods just ok ,we order the food 10 past 7pm the good not arrived until 5 past 9 pm almost 2 hours waiting for the foods, not impressed at all

I ordered our food for 8.35 and it arrived at 18.30. Driver could not apologise enough. Lucky we were in to take the order. I won't be pre-ordering again from here. I cannot fault the food though.

Food was tasty and hot, they forgot the chicken korma but promptly returned to replace it with a free naan bread. Good customer service! Will order again. ☺️

Food’s always hot and flavourful, but always wonder, how much you have to spend at this place to get a few pappadums! Give Mint yoghurt but no pappadums !

My husband got a takeaway as it was my birthday. I was so disappointed with the takeaway. My favourite Indian dish was so bland and unappetising. Very very disappointed.

Lovely meal, couldn't fault it. would have liked some yoghurt sauce with the biryani but that's personal preference. very tasty, good value and delivered quickly.

Has mossala there tasted watery and was cold , had to wait 45mins extra for my food they kept saying it’s coming. I rang 3 times and the owner said on it’s way. Eventually turned up but he didn’t apologise, and the guy who came to my door with my food was very rude I think he’s one of the managers. Don’t waste your time or money.

Food was not to a good standard. Unfortunately onion bhajis were soft and flat food was cold. Curry was not a good quality.

This was very disappointing. The food was cold despite tthe fact that we live barely 5 minutes from the takeaway by car. We have used Shah Faisal many times before and whilst I appreciate there is a price increase on all supplies, the portion size had halved - the tikka, for example, had 6 pieces of chicken, meaning each piece cost £1.20 - similar with the other dishes. This made iit very poor value for money in my opinion.

Lamb shashlick was full of gristle and so chewy also keema naan had hardly any meat in it.

Very nice as usual very early delivery which was nice and gave us a free nan bread

The food was poor bland and sauce think and unrecognisable nothing like my order last time very disappointed and will not be ordering from you again

Food always good and plenty of it

The two meals we had prior to this one were excellent and we thought they had upped their game. This one was cold and the patia and dansak tasted as if some curries from a couple of days ago were thrown together. The patia being much hotter than usual. Maybe it was a different chef.

Food was cold. Pasanda was watery. Patia sauce had leaked over everything in bag, so none left to serve with chicken n rice. Onion bhaji were flat as pancakes n not much bigger than a 50 pence piece. Only nice thing was the mint sauce and naan bread!

Disappointed tonight. This is my go to Indian unless they get a better chef I don’t think I’ll be back . the rice was sludgy and it’s supposed to be pilla rice less curry then usual mix kebab was completely different to what I’ve always had from here! The salad was disgusting and didn’t get a whole bag, like usual. It had carrots in which it’s never had before. I ordered two curries two rice mix, kebab And peshwari naan which was soggy food also arrived cold🤦‍♀️

I’ve always ordered the tandoori mixed kebab this time it was not there was a samosa random no chicken tikka or lamb and no onion bhaji just the sausage thing , biryani ok

What a bargain, reasonably priced food made more reasonable with the 20% discount. Dansak, Sag Paneer and mixed Tikka starter all fantastic and through in some poppadoms

Flavours in the sauces were good, food was nice and hot. Chicken was very chewy and dry though unfortunately and no flavour to the meat.

I particularly enjoyed this one, very well cooked and spiced correctly.

The best curry house in Southampton, everything is so tasty and so reasonably priced too, are go to curry house every week.

Food was delivered early by about 10 minutes which was great but food was very bland! The chicken in the chicken tikka was dry and hard and the lamb tikka was also tough! Both curries were tasteless and barely warm, won't be ordering from here again....

Absolutely outstanding food definitely order again.

Good food. Sometimes a little long for delivery and be careful with your bill because they add money ontop of what your order costs. We've started totting it up before ordering and last 3 times they added £2 onto the bill. When queried they use the excuse their calculator went funny!!! Sneaky

The most delicious curries!! they are creamy and so much flavour and very generous on meat! Go to curry house won’t be going anywhere else!! I’ve used every curry house in Bitterne and this by far beats all!

Used shah Feisal for many years but after receiving my order tonight 9/6/22 I will not be making any more orders as the food was terrible the new cheff is the worst ever the food was bland and to much spice used overpowering the food. Let me know when you get a proper cheff!

Just ordered a mild vegetable biriani, it blew my mouth! Hubby ordered a chicken jalfrezi and it was inedible due to 10 chillies being in it. Rang the takeaway who called me a liar! I should have requested a refund but we chose to get two different dishes but we are now worried as to what it will be like. We won’t ever return.

So disappointed just wasted £27 food is completely inedible, just tasted four different items all of it was disgusting, and I don't say that lightly, when I phoned he refused any refund and said people like he's curry, which I know could not be true and seen he has 3.4 which in my opinion is generous, I now have to literally throw a massive Saturday evening dinner in the bin, the smell is vial I need to get it out of my house couldn't eat more than 2 mouth fulls.

Watery curry.been going hear for years but not again.£14.didnt like the person who taken the order neither.food just didn't taste as good as it did before the lockdown,the rice was very small portion ,nanbread wasn't cooked well and even the poppodoms wasn't right.

We've been going there for 30 years and I've never had a problem, however tonight I was served a rancid biriani sauce it nearly made me sick!! Has it changed hands, if so it's rubbish? They are going to replace it, I'll give an update on the result, but I'm not expecting to much if I'm honest. So I changed it to chicken tikka massala very poor. I will not sadly not be going back.

Used you a lot but half the order missing and it was stone cold when it arrived. One person trying to answer 3 phones you could hear her going from phone to phone and i nearly got half of someone else's order so guess they got mine. tonight you failed big time, in the past you have got it very right so let this one go but you won't get a third try

1st time I've ordered from here and unfortunately it will be the last time. Ordered a chicken tikka and a kurma the chicken was Inedible as was so tough and when it finally Arrived (30min) late . And the food was cold on Arrival.. Never again so Disappointed

Ordered a few times. The first time was nice second time not so much. 3rd time things missing and strange taste. Today 3/7/2020 a culmination of complaints. Didnt take the order correctly i asked to pay by card and was hung up on, lucky I had cash on me. Took ages to arrive, arrived cold, missing parts of the order and then choked on a chicken bone. After requesting a refund I was rudely spoken over and was being offered £13 off next order.. demanded a refund so waiting to find out if and when i will get that?? Pooor service definitely not recommended.

The food was over an hour and half late, after several attempts to contact the restaurant , when we got through, both times they said the food was just leaving, 20 mins later it finally arrived. Will not use again, shame as the food was good

We waited nearly 4 hours for our takeaway to be delivered. We called them 6 times, everytime they said it was on it's way. It is now 10pm. I'm a key worker and coming home, waiting 4 hours for food when I need to sleep and get up early again tomorrow is not acceptable. They were completely unhelpful and really not at all bothered that the food had not been delivered. At no point did they offer to start the order again or a refund, but continue to fob us off with excuses. In fact they still are but I'm not hungry now.

This is always our choice of takeaway but this evening we felt the dishes were below normal standard. Do you have a new chef? Korma no coconut flavour and the sag panir was very leafy . Would normally give a 5 star. Prawn purl wasn't up to normal taste either. Sorry

Really good food at great prices. The Currys are on the hit side, so ask for mild if this could be a problem for you.

We have used shah faisal for many years. Definitely the best around.

Got food poisoning 1st time I ordered 🤮🤕🤒🤬

Ordered for the first time today. 1 lamb korma with pilau rice 1 tandoori mixed grill with pilau rice Garlic naan bread. We live less than 5 mins away from the site. Estimated delivery time 30-40 mins. Delivery time - spot on. Around 30-35 mins. Food arrived well packed, delivered by friendly gentleman. We had to reheat it but we do prefer our food piping hot. Mixed grill: excellent. Big chunks of meat and plenty of it with half a chicken and onion Bahji. Optional salad in a bag with a slice of lemon to keep fresh. Pot of yellow sauce which I don’t recognise but tasted great (I’m not a connoisseur- can you tell?) This was one delicious meal which I will definitely order again. Lamb Korma - this too was a meal which my partner will definitely look forward to eating again. Good chunks of lamb in a delicious sauce - very tasty and just right! Naan bread - slightly burnt on the top, only slightly, and we happen to enjoy it that way. If they keep this up, we will definitely be using Shah Faisal regularly!

I use this takeaway regularly and it's great. Priced well and fast service. 100% recommended.

The last couple of times we ordered we noticed that the quality of the food had gone downhill. The main courses were sloppy and consisted mainly of Edame beans and the cold, dried onion bhajis could only be used as shurikins .

Good value and delicious food! My family and I order from here at least once a week...and always an order over £60. If that doesn't tell you how good it is then I don't know what else does?! To spend almost £300 here a month shows it is worth it! That £60 feeds 7!! And we always have stuff left over too. The best tikka chicken. You can collect or have it delivered. Collection is always quicker and it's free parking too in the bath store car park. They've just opened another in woolston which is eaquily as tasty! Highly recommended Indian takeaway for the area. In our experience food has NEVER arrived cold, incorrect, or tasteless. Sometimes there are days where it may taste a little different from another, but we put this down to them probably having different chefs. Either way, tastes good! Been ordering from them over 4 years now...and will continue to!

Disgusting!! Ordered a chicken Korma the chicken was pink the sauce looked like a pile of sick! Complained they sent out another and the sauce was totally different and tasted funny so they definitely played around with it so didn't eat that either! Rude on the phone! Never again!! Rice was stone cold!!

Soggy Poppadoms , arrived within 15 mins of ordering just after opening at 5pm..??? I think we may have ordered a microwave meal... Avoid this takeaway they don't care about there customers . There are better ones like Bengal Spice..

Been using them for approximately 20 years always good quality and super tasty, however there price has edged up in the past couple of years which is to be expected.

Always go for the chicken tikka mikhani and have been going to this indian for about 4 years and can confidently say I have never had a bad meal from them. Keep up the good work guys!

Arrived late despite only being a few roads away , containers were squashed out of shape. Food was below average, saag paneer tasted very bland and unlike any I've had before. The vindaloo and pathia had an overpowering lemon taste. Won't be ordering again.

Worst food. Took 2 hours to arrive. It was cold, I mean frozen had to nuke it in the microwave. Ordered a Pathia, it was disgusting had three pieces of cubes chicken in and about 3 tablespoons of sauce. (Wouldn’t have even classed it as a child’s portion) phoned up to complain got shouted at by the person on the other end. Refused to send out another curry, kept coming up with excuses. In the end I gave up, chucked all the food away it was that horrific I didn’t mind wasting the £30 and ordered a burger. Just avoid this place, terrible customer service, vile food and a stupidity long wait. Now waiting to be refunded from justeat.

Yuck. Chicken Korma. Could not eat chicken as it was hard. Loads of sauce but only 5 bits of chicken and they were not nice. Chicken texture was funny so did mot eat it.Rice wasn't hot at all. Not much taste to onion baja just grease.... would not visit again.

Lovely food and good quality food with large portions and a reasonable price. Chicken Tikka Masala is my favourite curry. The chicken pieces are rather large and comes with plenty of sauce which goes well with a naan bread.

First veg samosa order came and it was meat they apologised and said I could have free ones next time. The next time I didn't request free samosa because mistakes happen ONCE and the samosas came again they were meat the replacement samosa delivered that evening were also meat that's three mistakes unacceptable This happened 3 times for 2 months when just eat calls them they manage to differentiate between veg and meat yet they tell me I ordered meat. My receipt show veg bare faced liars when I called and asked to speak with the manager he was very rude and shouting down the phone. Shocking this place was once the best in town we went there fort nightly and now they are the worst

Chicken jalfrezi had no peppers onions or tomatoes, chicken tikka massala very bland more like tomato soup, don't know if it's a new cook but the food definitely not as nice , as it used to be excellent, very disappointed.
