Ordered a large amount of food from here for a party via just eat. waited over an hour, the app told me it had been delivered, so called the restaurant, very rude staff member told me that he had cancelled it. When he had done no such thing. It showed delivered on the app and had to complain on just eat. No refund was processed, staff member told me he "had to cancel order because was too far away and there was lots of traffic because a road was closed" He had no intention of calling me and letting me know. Avoid this place. Very, very rude and defrauding people out of their money. Disgusting

The best people running the place, ordered at 15 mins before closing (very naughty on my behalf) and they still served me with total politeness and with the best food!! Always give a free mint sauce too which is lovely. Thank you so much 😊😊

1st time ordering from here. Chicken Biriani, Chiken Khurma and Chicken Rogan Josh were all very tasty. Would order from here again.

Ordered at about 6.15. Rung them at 7.30 and they were dripping about traffic. Total nonsense - there was no traffic according to Google. Also checked Waze for drive time between here and there - 12 minutes. They pretended the driver left 25 minutes ago. Total, total garbage. When the food arrived it was freezing cold and totally disgusting. Ended up ordering from elsewhere.

Ordered from these guys for years have always delivered but today placed an order that was cancelled and I won’t get my money back until 5 working days and told me it’s too far away when they have always delivered to me and also says on their website “we deliver here” and when I call them they are rude and say what do you want us to do now absolute joke your loyal customers have now gone never ordering again I’ll take my money elsewhere

Delivery was delayed due to everyone ordered at same time. No salad was delivered which was disappointing as makes the meal but overall good

chicken madras was nice all I would say is next time I'd like it a bit more spicier other than that was spot on

Took over 90 mins for it to be delivered, had to call to find where it was...no apology...then the food...wow, never seen more grease in my life, everything soaked and spilt, bag stained my kitchen worktop's for days with the grease stains kept on everything...portions were OK but the grease was off-putting instantly

Despite the lateness food was worth it and would order again

I know taste is absolutely objective, but I'm saddened that this place has now changed hands! What was once, restaurant quality food has now slipped into mediocre, stereotypical run of the mill Indian takeaway! Chicken, tiny, dry, overcooked, and miserly portions. Sauces over-sweetened with sugar, colourings, and everything smothered in coriander! and soooo bland! Portion sizes have shrunk massively also! So sad, because what was once a little gem has now turned into your usual, blink-and-you'd miss it take-away! I'll sadly be going somewhere else after all these years.

The foods just ok ,we order the food 10 past 7pm the good not arrived until 5 past 9 pm almost 2 hours waiting for the foods, not impressed at all

I ordered our food for 8.35 and it arrived at 18.30. Driver could not apologise enough. Lucky we were in to take the order. I won't be pre-ordering again from here. I cannot fault the food though.

Food was tasty and hot, they forgot the chicken korma but promptly returned to replace it with a free naan bread. Good customer service! Will order again. ☺️

Food’s always hot and flavourful, but always wonder, how much you have to spend at this place to get a few pappadums! Give Mint yoghurt but no pappadums !

My husband got a takeaway as it was my birthday. I was so disappointed with the takeaway. My favourite Indian dish was so bland and unappetising. Very very disappointed.

Has mossala there tasted watery and was cold , had to wait 45mins extra for my food they kept saying it’s coming. I rang 3 times and the owner said on it’s way. Eventually turned up but he didn’t apologise, and the guy who came to my door with my food was very rude I think he’s one of the managers. Don’t waste your time or money.

Food was not to a good standard. Unfortunately onion bhajis were soft and flat food was cold. Curry was not a good quality.

This was very disappointing. The food was cold despite tthe fact that we live barely 5 minutes from the takeaway by car. We have used Shah Faisal many times before and whilst I appreciate there is a price increase on all supplies, the portion size had halved - the tikka, for example, had 6 pieces of chicken, meaning each piece cost £1.20 - similar with the other dishes. This made iit very poor value for money in my opinion.

Lamb shashlick was full of gristle and so chewy also keema naan had hardly any meat in it.

The two meals we had prior to this one were excellent and we thought they had upped their game. This one was cold and the patia and dansak tasted as if some curries from a couple of days ago were thrown together. The patia being much hotter than usual. Maybe it was a different chef.

Food was cold. Pasanda was watery. Patia sauce had leaked over everything in bag, so none left to serve with chicken n rice. Onion bhaji were flat as pancakes n not much bigger than a 50 pence piece. Only nice thing was the mint sauce and naan bread!

Disappointed tonight. This is my go to Indian unless they get a better chef I don’t think I’ll be back . the rice was sludgy and it’s supposed to be pilla rice less curry then usual mix kebab was completely different to what I’ve always had from here! The salad was disgusting and didn’t get a whole bag, like usual. It had carrots in which it’s never had before. I ordered two curries two rice mix, kebab And peshwari naan which was soggy food also arrived cold🤦‍♀️

I’ve always ordered the tandoori mixed kebab this time it was not there was a samosa random no chicken tikka or lamb and no onion bhaji just the sausage thing , biryani ok

Flavours in the sauces were good, food was nice and hot. Chicken was very chewy and dry though unfortunately and no flavour to the meat.

What a bargain, reasonably priced food made more reasonable with the 20% discount. Dansak, Sag Paneer and mixed Tikka starter all fantastic and through in some poppadoms

The best curry house in Southampton, everything is so tasty and so reasonably priced too, are go to curry house every week.

Food was delivered early by about 10 minutes which was great but food was very bland! The chicken in the chicken tikka was dry and hard and the lamb tikka was also tough! Both curries were tasteless and barely warm, won't be ordering from here again....

Absolutely outstanding food definitely order again.

Good food. Sometimes a little long for delivery and be careful with your bill because they add money ontop of what your order costs. We've started totting it up before ordering and last 3 times they added £2 onto the bill. When queried they use the excuse their calculator went funny!!! Sneaky

The most delicious curries!! they are creamy and so much flavour and very generous on meat! Go to curry house won’t be going anywhere else!! I’ve used every curry house in Bitterne and this by far beats all!

Used shah Feisal for many years but after receiving my order tonight 9/6/22 I will not be making any more orders as the food was terrible the new cheff is the worst ever the food was bland and to much spice used overpowering the food. Let me know when you get a proper cheff!

Just ordered a mild vegetable biriani, it blew my mouth! Hubby ordered a chicken jalfrezi and it was inedible due to 10 chillies being in it. Rang the takeaway who called me a liar! I should have requested a refund but we chose to get two different dishes but we are now worried as to what it will be like. We won’t ever return.

So disappointed just wasted £27 food is completely inedible, just tasted four different items all of it was disgusting, and I don't say that lightly, when I phoned he refused any refund and said people like he's curry, which I know could not be true and seen he has 3.4 which in my opinion is generous, I now have to literally throw a massive Saturday evening dinner in the bin, the smell is vial I need to get it out of my house couldn't eat more than 2 mouth fulls.

Watery curry.been going hear for years but not again.£14.didnt like the person who taken the order neither.food just didn't taste as good as it did before the lockdown,the rice was very small portion ,nanbread wasn't cooked well and even the poppodoms wasn't right.

We've been going there for 30 years and I've never had a problem, however tonight I was served a rancid biriani sauce it nearly made me sick!! Has it changed hands, if so it's rubbish? They are going to replace it, I'll give an update on the result, but I'm not expecting to much if I'm honest. So I changed it to chicken tikka massala very poor. I will not sadly not be going back.

Used you a lot but half the order missing and it was stone cold when it arrived. One person trying to answer 3 phones you could hear her going from phone to phone and i nearly got half of someone else's order so guess they got mine. tonight you failed big time, in the past you have got it very right so let this one go but you won't get a third try
