I've ordered here a few times, after eating the food, diarrhea. Ordered 1 more 3 curry's and starters, only gave me 2 rice not 3 rice, I phoned them back regarding this, there reply was we're not going to replace your rice, you can have with your next order not very customers service friendly 0** That's why we don't go there anymore

Naan had hardly anything in it.

I ordered via website tonight (Friday) web site then sent me to just eat. Called later that problem with order will have to cancel. Refund never came until I called them. We are on Pheasey so not far away. Absolutely shocking, Friday night takeaway now ruined

The portions have gone really small , works out more expensive

Have ordered from before will never order from again,ordered through Deliveroo, restraunt accepted my order food was suppose to arrive before 10pm, I know they close at ten but thought delivery might be late, left it till 10:30 pm, rang restaurant no answer nothing ever arrived, after they took my money and me waiting over two hours for food, never again

I order from here all The time but the last few times it’s been shocking over cooked chips watered down sauce. Dry cold naan bread, Its just not good enough and it’s not as of it’s cheap!!

Absolutely delicious! This will be my go to from now on despite them supporting Real Madrid over LFC red men! Lots of meat and the naans were delicious 👏🏽

First and last time I will order from here ordered chicken and sag Balti got chicken and mushroom Balti which had no taste apart from salt and was watery for a Balti Naan bread was way over cooked to the point you couldn't tear it you snapped pieces of like a poppadum rice was cooked nice delivery was the time quoted

This had always been a good takeaway. New owners took over still good. Butter chicken was very good. However had jalfrezi which barely had any onion or pepper and no heat, Dhaal had far too much oil.

Always order from here. However, tonight I was very disappointed. We always order the chicken Korma which is usually so tasty and creamy! Tonight it was like a puddle of water and I don’t even know what it tasted like but it definitely wasn’t a Korma. Everything else was ok but dry I.e sheesh kebab. £35 is a lot of money for something we did not enjoy!

Ordered from here for the 1st time, food was amazing, will be ordering from here again and will recommend to others

Been using this place for years its the BEST. if anything its even got more authentic for those who know the difference when it comes to there food. Yes they take a while to deliver the food but don't all good take time. I would have a problem if it arrived too quickly. Of course they are busy they the BEST Long time very happy customer jo

Worked for this place as a delivery driver! No words to describe the manager rude and no manners. As if he demands respect during busy situations he needs to learn some manners, many customers have also complained to me about him when delivering. Staff members who I worked with are really nice however the takeaway needs a new owner.

Picked up 2 curries last night (chicken balti and chicken dansak) while we waited my wife and i had a free poppadom each which was lovely and fresh, and really enjoyed our curries

We always order from this takeaway as they have vegan options, The last couple of times the order has been wrong or something has been missing, Today has been the most disappointing, We received an order that was not ours, the vegan food was missing and had to bring our order from the other customers house. Upon checking this order there are items missing again, Our order is always around 40 pounds, its never a cheap order, So its safe to say we shall not be ordering from this establishment again

Honestly the best Indian takeaway in the area. Friendly service and great tasting food. Don’t be put off by the shabby exterior. The food is top notch

I was quite disappointed with my food tonight, no prawns in the mixed grill, Naan bread seemed like it had been microwaved as they were very tough and chewy and all you could taste on the poppadoms was horrible oil. For £30 It wasn't good. I've had better from here before which is why I ordered again but think I will try somewhere different

Ordered a set meal which was fantastic on the 1st 2 orders; even the customers service was 5☆ after that it went down hill. I notice my food was reduced: eg Food was missing, drinks missing or wrong food was sent. They said they would replace everything on my next order free of charge; Little did I knew it was going to come at a price. They sent the meal and guess what!!! Lol wrong items, drink's missing. Jaham said "I should be grateful I'm getting it for free" even though I prepaid for it. I've won't be ordering from there again incase they spit in my food the next time. Check your food before paying for it.

The staff are friendly & will cook your food to your requirements as I like spice & the OH doesnt. The lamb chops are our favourite starter & the biryani is top notch. They have just won Indian Take Away of the Year & it's well deserved. Great team & great food.

Ordered food told an hour (they lied),2 hours 10 minutes.why they use the name Shah balti I'll never know Had a meat balti which was more like a tasteless soup with hard lumps of what I presume was meant to be lamb? The chicken balti was no better, needless to say,they went in the bin.Wont be spending any more money at this place. 😤

What can I say, absolutely amazing food as always. Proper home cooked food The tarka daal is absolutely fantastic WOW 10/10 worth returning just for the daal. Just like how your mum would make it. Overall good experience. Friendly staff. Clean and presentable open plan kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared from scratch like it always has been. Been going to this place since 2002. New owners now but still same great taste and flavours. tee

Had a couple orders from here good place until I rang tonight and the guy hardly spoke English and tryed to over charge. when I asked for price he said bye and put the phone down lol when I asked to talk to the boss he said he was but I no the boss talks very good English. Disappointed as it was a good place wont bother ordering again

My cousins order from here often, but food came 40 mins late which is understandable as it can get quite busy. However, the delivery driver came across as very rude which is a shame as their food is always good. Delivery driver needs to learn how to speak to customers!

Have been using these people for quite some time and have always had very good food and very good service and only on occasion does it drop below par. On the whole a good takeaway restaurant.

Please do NOT order from this place. You order your food they dont tell you how long it will be...... 2 hour wait for it then when you phone to see where it is and how long it will be... they say another 40 mins we are busy if you want to cancel you can. What a joke.... why not say how long it will be before taking orderes... if you can’t cope don’t take them !!!!!

Shocking first and last experience. Ordered on the phone and given a total bill at the end. When the delivery driver came they charged extra because they forgot to include part of the order. The food was average but not bad. The final straw came when we checked the bag and there was no drink or mango chutney in there. I rang them up to explain and they had no problem the driver would be sent back as soon as he arrived back to store. 20 minutes later and halfway through our food we was called to say we hadn't checked the bag correctly followed by being told it was definitely there. By the way I could hear in the background when he asked the delivery driver if he packed it and the driver saying he wasn't sure if he included the drink or not. They said they would deliver another drink but not the chutney as they was sure they packed it. Like I would lie about a chuntney I no longer needed as I'd already eaten the pomadoms. End result I told them not to bother delivering the drink, it's bad enough they interrupted me mid meal to argue with me as it is. Very rude, very arrogant.

Ordered from this place about 6 times now, food is pretty consistent, usually quite tasty and delivered hot. Orders seem to arrive quicker if ordering from just eat, rather than their own website. I would have to agree with some of the comments below the mini samosas are greasy and onion bajis are always dry and taste reheated. In general it’s one of the better Indian takeaways around and their kormas are pretty good.

I've had a couple of takeaways from here now and I've found all the food I've had to be excellent and ready in a reasonable time. A group of us are having a takeaway night on NYE and I'm confident enough to choose this place for our NYE dinner.

Well I ordered a big fat chicken rogan josh and it was like eating it in a restaurant the peschwari naan is good from here has a drizzling of oil over it very nice

Fantastic food, a must for all curry lovers, they do a vast amount of dishes and was only to happy to help me choose a curry for my son as he doesn't like his very hot and doesn't like cream either, once you order from here you'll keep ordering

The chicken balti is fine but their Express Platter is horrible. The so called platter is nothing but 2 greasy samosas filled with mashed potato, 1 dry thin seekh kebab, 1 burnt and reheated bhaji. I give them credit for having 5 star hygiene rating but the platter I had was horrific. I would've posted pics of the stuff but I only NOW discovered how to upload from phone!

Great food, great price, great staff. Just had a special byriani and chicken tikka saag and mushroom balti apna style, would recommend apna style if you like a madras.

Me and wife ordered a meal after hearing the news of being the best takeaway 2019. Honestly, it lived up to my expectations, every item was piping hot, portions were big and the only takeaway I have ever seen that provides fresh salad and sauces. They even provided my wife with vegan friendly dishes which I didn't expect from a local takeaway. Anyway, If your looking for a quite night in and a wonderful meal this is the place.

Thought we'd give them another try after new management, food was absolutely delicious. Recently won the best indian takeaway award and I must say it was very well deserved!! See you soon guys

I ordered food that should have been delivered at 9.25, the food was delivered at 9.50, when I took the food out the bag is wasn't my order so I called the shop advised them of there error they said they'd sort it, at around 10.30 a man collected the incorrect order and said my order was with someone in erdington so they were letting them keep my order free of charge, i then had to wait another 15 minutes for my order. I ordered my food at around 8.30 and finally got it at 10.45. I got this free but only because I said if them with my order are getting that free why should I pay especially as it's taken over 2 hours to get my meal. When we finally got it there was no salad, sauce or popadoms which you normally get. My Friday evening was ruined sitting around waiting for food and by the time we'd eaten we were tired and went to sleep. Very very disappointed

So I thought I'd try something new with good reviews turns out to b the worst I paid £32 what is the most I've ever paid for takeaway for me and my hubby I had a prawn sagawala what I always have! And now I have been throwing up all night after hearing it was a reward curry place I really don't think so!

So I tried a new place with gd reviews and I had my new normal curry what I normally have from other places I've never paid £32 for me and my partner but I was like it must be nice bt then after eating it and being sick all night said it all and I will not be returning here agen

Tried this place after reading the positive reviews on justeat and thought we would also give it a go. Must say we weren’t disappointed. We ordered a couple of different dishes between us and was overwhelmed with the portions sizes (it sorted out my lunch for the next morning!) but the food was absolutely amazing. Flavoursome food, not oily grease takeaway food you feel guilty after eating!

It's the worst place to come to. Hygiene is terrible and food is revolting. The guys barely know how to talk and every perverted. Would avoid and the awards must be fake or most of paid someone

This Takeaway came as a recommendation and did not disappoint!!!! the selection and taste of the food was delightful, the chicken and rice was to die for, and very reasonably priced. I will without doubt be returning to this little diamond! My number one take-out !!!

Food took over 2 and a half hours to deliver and the delivery driver turned up like there was no issue . No thanks.

Ordered a lamb karahi and a chicken karahi. Both very very tasty and authentic. The flavours in each were amazing and distinctly different (it was not a generic masala used in both as some curry houses do). Definitely going back for more. The price was very reasonable too and the person on the telephone and behind the counter was very pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. FIVE STARS.

Time to find a new curry house! I have been using this curry house for over 16 years, tonight's was mostly uneatable, chicken pakora arrived in a bag, the batter fell off and the chicken inside was uncooked, some of the chicken in the pansanda was also uncooked apart from the naan and chips the rest went in the bin

we ordered a Balti main, chicken tikka main pila rice and bottle of coke paid upfront online, the delivery was on time they forgot the bottle of coke we had paid for and didn’t even bother dropping it round on a later delivery so the balti was very bland only had 4 small pieces of chicken in not all breast, the tikka was nice decent amount an rice was good in the balti I bit in to a piece of cloth which was concerning as it wasn’t small an so avoid the balti an make sure your drinks don’t get forgotten balti got binned

I ordered a vindaloo with some chapatti. Spice level was spot as was the texture of the curry. Perfect with the soft chappati. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

Husband tries every Monday between 10pm & 10:45pm to order a takeaway but no-one answers the 'phone. Advertises as closing at 11pm - why when they don't bother to answer the 'phone? Would have left no stars!

Food was okay, nothing special. Delivery driver kinda rude, told me I should have been charged extra because the delivery was far away, if you don't set up delivery charge on Just Eat then what am I supposed to do? Not my problem. Poor customer service.

Food was excellent. One of the best Indian takeaways I’ve had in a long time. Only thing that let them down was the delivery time. 19:37 ordered 21:00 delivery time 22:20 it finally came. I understand the weather was bad and appreciate them sending a fresh order after our driver got stuck. Overall very happy with this takeaway and will deffo order again.
