Atmosphere not that good and service a bit slow. For the quality you get in both product and service is expensive

The experience is different and the food is excellent. The service is usually friendly albeit slow sometimes. Gets quite busy. My only problem is that you get hungry only a couple of hours after having Shabu Shabu. I recommend making sure you order rice as a side to sustain you a bit longer

Love Shabu Shabu, probably spoiled after having it several time in Japan, but this place is not worth it. Service is lame, food not great and it comes (as expected in a whole foods) at a steep price. Rather save money and go to a real Japanese place.

Perhaps I am spoiled in the US? I'd say the bright spot about this place is that its meat seems fresh. However, the meat portion is very small. Vegetable portion is even worse. In terms of service, one time, they didn't have plain rice, but only sushi rice (very sweet and sour). Honestly, it's ridiculous to offer sushi rice with shabu shabu. If I were the restaurant manager, I would have gotten plain rice from other stores in the food court on the same floor or from Whole Foods downstairs instead of offering sushi rice. If I weren't too tired and hungry, I would have got up and gone to buy it myself.

I have been using this place for years now , and have always found the food and service to be superb. It seems very family run with mama-San wondering around the restaurant keeping a very beady eye on things, while a couple of young girls serve the food and drinks. Prices are very reasonable for London, £40 for a great selection of sushi , miso and Asahi. I just hope it survives as it always seems fairly quiet.

I went with friends for dinner. The place is very welcoming, warm and clean. We ordered a bento box each (i.e. a complete plate of rice, miso soup and meat/fish/tofu) and two portions of gyoza. All very good and excellent. I have nothing to complain about. Relatively fast service. Average quality/price ratio. I suggest booking!

Great food & lovely menus where the images are aside all the food options. Real cool set up with the seating, adds to the Japanese atmosphere but honestly really difficult to get in the seat. Been there before and got the bento box before which was good. The lunchtime deal was a good value.
