Lentil soup was amazing like you never had before. Tabolla was very tasty. Mixed grill was cooked with love I guess cause it was amazing and a bit of everything so you try different seasoning meat and checken.

My wife and I absolutely love it here. I brought her here on our 3rd month date and 7 years on we still come back every few months because the food is just incredible. The service is always friendly and attentive with the decor beautiful and unique. We live about 5 minutes from here and it’s our go-to when we want to take out of town friends for a communal meal. Highly recommend to anybody who hasn’t tried it! (Handy hint: While it’s listed as a cash only place they will also happily take a direct bank transfer on request.)

Absolutely one of my favourite restaurants in Cardiff and my favourite hummus! The atmosphere is lovely and I always enjoy the food. The cold mezze platter is a must. Would 100% recommend to Cardiff residents and visitors.

First time here and it was excellent! But, just be aware, it’s cash only!!! The food was amazing, the meat was well seasoned and cooked. We had the platter for 2, which comes with rice and salad, plus garlic yoghurt dip. Big portions!! The waiting staff were attentive and friendly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated.

Visited this beautifully decorated restaurant tonight. What a treat, the food, service and atmosphere were wonderful. I had a Mint & lemon smoothie which tasted just like a mojito- 😋 All the staff were very welcoming, the owner especially. Definitely be back soon. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely meal on a Saturday night. The place is so lovely with such friendly staff. Every thing we had was delicious and well cooked. Highly recommend Lamb shish and their chilli sauce is another level. Will definitely return.

The best Lebanese/syrian restaurant in Cardiff. The food is outstanding, huge portions and really good value for money. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming.

CASH ONLY IN 2024 We ordered a mixed grill for 4 and it was perfectly enough for 4 hungry people, we then finished it for a beautiful cup of mint tea which was good. The mango juice was also surprisingly good as most places just use bottle juice but this tasted fresh. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice grilled meal.

We are a family of 4 from Damascus and we had supper here. It was a busy Friday night and the staff didn't panic they just made us welcome, fed us with good food and we enjoyed the fabulous decor, just like Damascus.

Beautiful looking place, but it was a bit quiet when I was there.

We always have a fantastic evening at Shaam Nights. The food never dissapoints and we always get a friendly welcome from the wonderful staff. We've been coming here for 10 years now and will still be coming back for many many more!

Lovely place with beautiful decor and atmosphere! The servers were lovely, especially Sanju and the food was great especially the starters. We had hummus, batata harra and vine leaves which were all delicious! Would definitely recommend!

We are regular visitors to Shaam Nights and has just the right mix for us of good food, good price, varied menu, good atmosphere and not too formal.

I've been here twice in the past week it's so good. Mixed meze was outstanding, the best falafel any of us have ever tasted. We had chicken kabsah, biriyani rice, shawarma, lamb shank and mixed grill platter and we cannot recommend any of these dishes enough. Everything was delicious, the decor is beautiful and the staff are very nice 😊

One of the best places to eat in Cardiff, beautiful decor and felt so cosy. As a group of girls we felt very looked after, the owner (Yahya) was very courteous and hospitable and tailored the menu to our liking. Food was excellent and service was amazing. Would highly recommend :)

A group of 10 for the evening before NYE. Great food and plenty of it - we ended up taking some boxes away with us. Two things to note: it's a dry restaurant, and it's cash only Very reasonably priced - less than £20 per head.
