Best Fish & Chips in the area. Great selection of pies as well as being reasonobly priced. The staff are always friendly and there is also a great window display of the history or achievements of the area.

Called in for a chippy tea as I really fancied a nice bit of cod. Glad we did - wow what lovely cod and fresh. The chips were proper home made and the mushy peas were absolutely piping hot. 100%. The portions were amazing, I couldnt even finish it. Will definitely be returning and the staff were so friendly and chatty and you could have a joke with them. I like that! Highly recommended. Dinner for 2. We had fresh fish and sides. Extremely good! We sat outside under heated lamps. Perfect, dog friendly. Cocktails and huge choice of food. Great deserts, too. Friendly server very helpful. Will revisit, thanks again.

8 Market StVery average f&c, batter very greasy on the fish, restaurant area very busy and noisy, long wait times for takeaway. It's not terrible, but suspect it's location and convenience are helping their trade more than the quality & price of the food.
