Mean-spirited, unsmiling service (if you can call it that). Only obvious motivation: cash extraction. Poor quality.

Peckish after a trip through Boston market, we stopped here for something to eat and drink, and it certainly did not disappoint. My salmon and Philadelphia cheese baguette was wonderfully soft inside, with a beautiful crunchy exterior, and my pecan pie was a treat: sweet and nutty and deliciously creamy. My mint tea washed it down perfectly. We will definitely become regulars.

The man was unfriendly, and said 'I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about' when I asked him about the apple tea. He might as well have eye-rolled me. The outside area was dirty with litter. We actually felt uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. We ordered 2 apple teas - the maple one just tasted like slightly sweet water. The cinnamon one was better, but I shan't return. The desserts looked good, but some looked old. The cups were smudgy, the chairs were broken and the manager seemed to hate his job. Seven gates of hell, I think.

The most miserable man in the world works here. Got to Boston, parked in the market place and went for a coffee for my first ever experience in Boston. I was met with a very unfriendly character who has zero customer services skills. What a shame! It really didn't set me up for a nice day trip. Luckily I met some lovely Bostonians later in the day at Tate's and the stump. Avoid as all costs.

Seventh Heaven is right on the square with some sheltered outdoor seating and an interesting view of the market and historic buildings. I had a really tasty beef and horseradish sandwich (which came with a substantial and interesting side salad), a delicious granola flapjack and an excellent coffee. More like a café of Seventh Hell, not accessible for wheelchair users/ prams very little space downstairs. Got asked if I wanted to sit upstairs with no way of getting a pram up the stairs. Expensive prices for cake and little portions, coffee was ok and the prices and sizing was at par with other cafés. The lady working there was welcoming but the owner was unwelcoming and self entitled. Would of gone to Delfino's if it was open so this café was the next best thing according to Trip Advisor, won't be returning. Maybe we should of gone to Costa instead but wanted to support local business, suppose some local businesses don't want to work for customers satisfaction, great shame!

We dropped in for a quick bite to eat on a weekday lunchtime. The food was OK, the speed of service was OK and the waitress was OK too. However, I was in two minds on whether to place an order for food and drink in this place considering the lack of any acknowledgement or welcome from the grumpy and stand offish person serving behind the counter when we entered the cafe. It was not very busy and what customers were there were sitting outside at tables and chairs. Inside, there was a guy behind the counter doing nothing but standing there. Yet he completely ignored us as we went in. Not a word was said to us other that tell us what we needed to pay and then told to put a table number on our table for the hot food. His whole demeanor and attitude was awful. Thinking about it the grumpy guy and the tatty furniture outside are well suited to each other! On the basis of that I would not go back to this place out of choice. There are other places who would be happy to have your custom

Truly outstanding. Called in for lunch on a day trip to Boston, and was very impressed. Friendly, welcoming staff, who were honest that there would be a small wait for food. Well I can say it was definitely worth the wait. My wife had the chicken and avocado salad. Beautiful, fresh grilled chicken, superbly presented. I had quite possibly the tastiest Chicken BLT roll I've ever had. I strongly recommend this cafe if you're ever in Boston. The selection of cakes looked divine too but I resisted..

We stopped off for a hot chocolate and a spiced apple tea and it was lovely. As the weather was a bit cool we ordered inside and found an inside table downstairs. The drinks were quickly prepared and we weren’t kept waiting. The food looked good particularly some of the cakes although I thought they were expensive considering their portion size. The only downside was the grumpy man behind the counter who was neither friendly or welcoming, a customer service course would not go amiss for this gentleman.

Although it was a bit early for lunch at 11.45am it was too late for a mid morning cake break. I had limited time and was really hungry. I could have grabbed a burger from the market but I thought I might find something better here. Sadly I was very wrong! I ordered a brie and cranberry toasted sandwich with a tea. I chose to sit outside, we have barely eaten out since Covid-19 arrived so I am very careful. It wasn't long before my pot of tea arrived and I soon finished the first cup. Thinking my sandwich would be along any moment I poured a second cup but as I had an appointment I was starting to get restless that my sandwich hadn't arrived after 20 minutes. At the time of ordering only one couple were sitting inside and 2 tables occupied outside. 2 of those parties had already been served. Realising I hadn't time to sit and enjoy my sandwich if it arrived I finished my tea and went back inside to enquire where my sandwich was. Apparently it was almost ready so I asked if I could have it to take away instead. I was asked to wait outside which I did. A member of staff came out with some drinks for another table and started clearing empty tables. The sugar basin that was on one empty table was moved to the group whose drinks had just been served. An open sugar basin with a spoon that the previous customers had handled and probably breathed or even coughed over handed to other customers without any sanitising! I waited 10 minutes, standing outside the shop and still my sandwich didn't arrive so I went back in and was assured it was just about ready. I went back out and moments later a box was delivered to me with an apology. I was now so late I had to dump the box in my shopping trolley and get a wriggle on, even more starving than I had been when I arrived 30 minutes before. I dealt with my appointment quickly and realised it had now started raining and my options of where to eat my now almost cold toasted sandwich were limited. I found a corner near the war memorial to stand and eat. I opened the box and with disbelief I saw a long blonde hair right across the top of my food, melted into the cheese! Having witnessed a blonde server not sanitising the sugar basin it really was the final straw! My food went in the bin and I grabbed a very tasty sausage roll from a nearby bakery. I paid for a premium sandwich and a few moments to sit and relax. All I got was stressed and hungry. I really wish I hadn't bothered and would never return

We were delighted to find this place when wandering around Boston. We sat upstairs and the decor was reassuring, very smart and a pleasant ambience. We had toasted sandwiches and after looking at other reviews realised we would have to try the cake too - which turned out to be hugest slices of absolutely delicious and tempting cake you could imagine. Visited this cafe for the first time today. Sit in or out. Nice and clean inside but the chairs outside were bordering on falling apart. Staff were polite and friendly but need more training perhaps. We sat at a table which had not been cleared/cleaned from the previous customers. Waitress and waiter passed by returning to the service area inside and could have easily have done this. This happened 4/5 times each time they went inside empty handed. This wasn’t just our table either. When our food arrived we had been joined by two ladies and the waiter had problems putting our food on the table due to the uncleared pots. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The coffees were also very good. Just a bit of thought by the staff, perhaps and some new chairs outside might be a plus. Also a bit annoying outside was the amount of tables taken up by people smoking..... outside maybe ... but not good as the tables are quite close to each other. I am a smoker but do not appreciate it when I am eating and I am sure I am not on my own. Nearly there ......

This was our second visit and it was just as pleasant as our first. Last time we sat indoors but today it was a lovely hot summers day so we sat outside. The Menu is comprehensive ranging from just a drink, through snacks to a range of quite filling 'light bites' to meet most people's needs. By adding dessert, there is no reason why you cannot have quite a substantial lunch.Customers have to order at the counter but orders are served at the table including those for customers seated outside. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The prices are reasonable and the service even on a busy day like to day was quite prompt. Our drink were served first but unlike some places, we still hadn't finished them before our food order arrived, meaning there was still some left after we had eaten. Went here for lunch today purely on the spur of the moment. The cafe is lovely and spotless and the staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee my friend had was apparently nice but my banana milkshake was very underflavoured and room temperature. We both ordered the full English which seemed appealing and reasonably priced. And then the wait began. After 45 minutes of watching food pass us by I spoke to the server and enquired. I'm assuming by the way she paled slightly and bolted into the kitchen that the order was lost or forgotten. When the food arrived 10 minutes later (funnily enough, about the amount of time it used to take me to do a cooked breakfast when I was working on tin pan alley) it was, well, uninspiring I thing is a fair description. Leathery bacon, overcooked egg and underseasoned mushrooms. The sausages were nice as were the beans. The quality of the food passing us to go elsewhere was enough that I'd consider going here again, but with some small amount of trepidation.

I had heard good reports of this café and I was most impressed when I visited it with friends for coffee and toasted sandwiches recently. There are three places to eat--outside on the Market Place, inside on the ground floor and upstairs in what could be described as a coffee lounge. It was too chilly to eat al fresco and downstairs was full, so we made our way up the steepish staircase to the comfortable lounge, where we sat on armchairs and smelt the wonderful aroma of continental coffee. We ordered latte and Americano coffees which arrived promptly, served by a charming waitress. We had a reasonable wait for the toasted sandwiches, but when they arrived, they looked and tasted delicious. I tried the brie and cranberry, served on a large platter, with a tasty fresh salad. There were so many toasted sandwiches that I found it quite filling. We enjoyed a peaceful chat and then settled the bill with the friendly staff. The experience was so good that we did not think that we were in Boston, Lincs!

Visited here for the first time with a friend for a catch up . We decided to eat inside as it was a warm day but the outside seats were all taken . But no worries at the coffee shop was lovely and cool & very comfortable seats ! We had a drink first whilst deciding what to have for dinner . I chose the mocha frappe - And it was lovely !!!Once we have ordered some lunch our choices arrived with a lovely side order of salad & another drink ! Even if the wait for the food was around 20 mins this was well worth the wait ! I had the cheese , ham & pineapple Panini & it was absolutely delicious ! Definitely visit again as it made a change for the normal chain coffee shops ! Plus next time I will try a desert/cake as they looked incredibly moreish ! Just a shame it doesn't open Sundays !!!

We used to live near Boston and as we sat outside 7th. Heaven looking across the big Bruges - like market square I was thinking how much improved the town seemed and I speculated with my wife if in any way it could be related to the high influx of foreigners (the word used by most Lincolnshire folk for migrants)? Most of the foreign accents are Polish and I wondered if 7th Heaven was run by Poles? Now how was it?We had 2 latte coffees and smoked salmon and cream cheese white bread sandwiches which were generously filled inside thin tasty good bread and shaped delicately with 5 sections to a round. They came with a very fresh attractive and colourful sprinkling of mixed side salad. Am I making your mouth water? This should because it was delicious and expertly and artistically presented. The outside seating area on this warmest of days was very continental and a delight too. I remember from a few years ago when this cafe opened and it is great to see how it has become very successful. Use it - they deserve to do well as they do their thing expertly!

This is one of my favourite places to go for breakfast. The BLT is fantastic value for money and crammed full of bacon. They always have a fabulous selection of cakes and I personally love their triple choc shortbread.

It's lovely to sit and relax on your own or with friends looking over the town of Boston. Coffee is good and a good variety of snacks at reasonable prices. Comfy seating. Supply papers to read and staff really friendly when bringing bringing food and drinks to your table. A little gem

I first found Seventh Heaven earlier this year when i dropped in for s coffee. Since then it has become a regular venue for coffee, breakfast or lunch. The food is good and I would recommend the scrambled egg.The premises are spotless, staff are obliging and service is fast. We are sorry that they found it necessary to close while the May fair was in town and we look forward to our next visit Maria. and Martyn

We meet here almost every Tuesday and Thursday to have coffee and long gossip with a couple from Spilsby we first meet in here over two years ago. The coffee is great, homemade cakes lovely and snacks well made and presented. May cost a little more but well worth it. Lovely little lounge upstairs and v good loos!! Staff very friendly too. We recommend this place to everyone. It makes a change from your usual Costa etc. Very individual and Karolina the owner is lovely (so says our grand-daughter!!).

Quite simply breakfast and service at it's best! Fantastic food and value in a warm and welcoming café full of laughs and down to earth hearty food. If that wasn't enough the value for money and generous portions are welcome in a time of rising prices and shrinking plates of food. If only we lived closer! it would be my café of choice. Thanks for a great breakfast and setting us up for the day!
