The Ivy's Farm Shop in Boston

I was passing through and just stopped for a coffee. The place is interesting and nice. It was nice, the only thing I didn't like was that they assumed I wanted the coffee to go. I would have liked to drink a coffee sitting at a table, not behind the wheel... I'm tired of coffees behind the wheel... Another time I'll specify that I don't want "coffee to go" 😁

Lovely fresh cooked food as always

The staff at the counter assumed you'd been before and knew the ordering and serving system. They were clearly too busy to interact with customers which was a shame. The food was freshly prepared for each order. It was delicious and good value

One of the best in the area. Often use as it's not far from home but a nice change to get out. Always friendly and good service not to mention food . Recommend to anyone . Brilliant

Lovely place to eat food was proper quality made and service was very good. Eating area was very clean and toilets were nice and clean. A+

We stopped here for a bite to eat with our baby. We were incredibly surprised. This is no frills but very high quality food. We ordered the fish and chips which seemed to be very popular and the vegetable lasagne. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the most pleasant surprise was the quality of the baby changing facilities. A dedicated room that’s beautifully upkept. Will recommend others to stop here

Great meal and friendly staff serving

Excellent cafe with good menu and specials board.. we had jacket potato with chicken, bacon and mayo which was served with side salad and was delicious 😋 The cakes looked great (very deep.!) I noticed Chocolate and Victoria ..there were others but we didn't indulge today.. the resturant was busy so quite noisy which gave the place a 'canteen' style feel but well worth a visit 👍

Full English breakfast was lovely. Loads of food for the price, will be going back. Highly recommended.

Been here twice now first time waited two hours wait for a breakfast but gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was busy second time waited an hour and a half and the breakfast never came then it Turned out, they couldn’t find our table number even though it said number eight on the receipt then gave us the food off the hot plate that had been sat there for over an hour

Met my friend here for coffee and cake for her birthday its halfway to where we both live so perfect meeting point ,or so we thought, big mistake we were seated by staff ,went to counter to order two members of staff were filling drinks cabinet s who completely ignored us just left us standing there , then a third member of staff came took our order ,no smiles or pleasantries, coffee and cake brought over , literally just finished coffee and cake was thinking of going for second coffee to be told we need to leave as they needed the table for lunches at no time were we told b4 hand we only had this short window of time there were at that current time 20 plus empty tables in the restaurant and certainly not that amount of people waiting to come in what was supposed to be a birthday treat and catch up completely ruined by such rudeness, have never felt so uncomfortable in my life cannot believe they have any custom if this is the way they treat people absolutely disgusted will never ever return

Decent food portions and Coeliac options

Sadly, I feel this restaurant has gone downhill recently. Today was probably the last time we will eat here, unfortunately. Chips pale and tasted like they were cooked in stale fat, presentation on the plate last alot to be desired, portion sizes have decreased.....just extremely unimpressed. There are alot better places to eat locally for the same amount of money. Sorry Ivys!

Sat outside as we took our dog. Had two very poor blt's. Bread was bit dry, very little bacon. 2 x coffees not very hot. First and last visit to Cafe. Farmers store was very good, good quality food on offer.

Hoping for a cuppa after a long journey but not dog friendly and not sure what the cafe offered as main door was to the farm shop. Low on stock and looked like a lot of prepackaged, brought in items. Did purchase a bakewell tart for £3 something, not a bit of almond flavour in it!!! Staff were lovely though.

Lovely selection of fresh food. Taste good. Serve quickly.

The last two times has been very good and friendly.

It's the first time I've visited in 18 months , obviously , and I'm pleasantly surprised by the standard and quality of service and food . The baking goods are impressive and the shop is well stocked . Lilly the cat is still in charge .

Miserable staff baguettes dry/not fresh & tastless sausages

Took my friends out for lunch as it was her Birthday recently . 3 had the Fish & Chips and Birthday girl had Lasagne and all had empty plates .. We enjoyed the atmosphere and openness of tables not too close together .. Waterloo area was spacious and clean ..we also called at the farm shop . Well done everyone

J'ai passé une nuit inoubliable à Ivy Coffee Farm. Le lendemain matin, j'ai dégusté un café exceptionnel produit sur place, accompagné d'un délicieux petit déjeuner dans un cadre magnifique. Après ce moment paisible, nous avons fait un tour du village et découvert les productions locales. L'accueil chaleureux et l'authenticité de ce lieu ont rendu cette expérience inoubliable. Je recommande vivement ce petit coin de paradis pour tous ceux qui cherchent à se ressourcer au milieu de la nature.

Food was really nice here, what a great stop on our journey. Very chilled for the kids and plenty of space to stop to walk the dogs. Staff are really friendly, we did have to wait about 45minutes for our food to come out.

From our very first visit to our most recent being today ,the food has definitely gone downhill . The lady on till needs some customer service training ,so rude ,never smiles ,if she doesn't want to be there stay at home love !

Very large restaurant. Good menu choices- the brunch was especially generous and very good value as were the other choices. Sausages excellent Lincolnshire ones- made in the Farm Shop by Trevor. Service was prompt albeit not a smiling/happy service.Attentive though and not intrusive. Very popular with locals and passing trade. The Farm shop was large, clean with an excellent array of choices to cater for all. Sausages we took home as the butcher we recognised from some time ago who we always felt made the best Lincolnshire sausage. Well done Trevor.

We had our dog with us so had to sit outside. Food took about 40 minutes to arrive (bangers and mash, fish and chips, burger and chips and a fry up). Food was very good and eating would have been higher but for the dog!. However, it got dark outside and no lights were switched on although it looked as if there are fairy lights strung to the roof rafters. They have no outside heaters so our food cooled rapidly and we were cold even with coats on. So many restaurants are dog friendly now that I don’t understand why Lincolnshire appears to be quite so dog unfriendly from its shopping outlets to its pubs and restaurants.

I had the steak and stilton pie with mash potatoes. mashed swede.peas . carrots.and gravy my friend had the vegetarian lasagna and I must say it was delicious 😋

Staff at the till in the restaurant and in the farm shop were a tad miserable. Not friendly at all. I was blatantly ignored at the till in the farm shop and it was made obvious that my custom was not wanted.

Nice food and large car parking, quaint farm shop nearby. Service was alright, although we were stood by the “wait to be seated” for a while, as staff continued to chat between themselves, and we found the lady at the counter to be quite sharp in her speech.

Really enjoyed our stop off dinner. Great outside seating. Very clean inside and out and rest rooms were immaculate, food was a fair price and very nice.

We did a pit stop here to break up a long drive. Had some breakfast and it was lovely.

We always make a point of stopping here on journeys up North and back. The whole family love it. The food is freshly prepared and the staff are great. My daughter loves seeing the goats.

Dreadful service. Wouldn't serve us a cup of tea even though they were officially still open for another 15 minutes. Won't bother again.

We get all our fruit and veg from Ivy's. Also, occasionally drop in, sometimes with friends, to enjoy their fish and chips and choose from a great selection of deserts, sponges, and cakes. Excellent value and portions. Also their "Afternoon Tea's" are wonderful!

Big portions, reasonably priced. Tasty meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved watching the Alpacas next to the restaurant.

We stumbled upon this amazing farm shop / restaurant complex whilst travelling home from a weekend away. It was a massive indoor restaurant with an equally huge outdoor dining area. We sat in the outdoor area and both had tuna baguettes which were enormous, served with crisps and a nice fresh salad. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The farm shop next to the restaurant was also great. We’re very glad we stopped!

Lovely food, lovely service and wonderful alpacas and goat for my 1 year old to say hello to after he enjoyed playing on the grass area with the toy tractor provided

Called in this morning for breakfast and a drink and was served by a very personable polite and happy young lady called Jasmine.

Food and drink was ok. Nothing special but still worth a visit

We absolutely love this place. Delicious affordable food with plenty of variety to choose from, for both children and adults. Nice quiet atmosphere with the option of sitting inside or outside on the decking area. Perfect for a meal or just for coffee and cake, delicious range of fresh cakes on display. Huge car park so no issues parking. Would recommend booking for a weekend as gets busy.

I have given it a higher rating than it probably deserves, but the portions were good, and the quality was good, down side, nothing was hot. Excellent value for money.

Reasonable priced restaurant in the village with a variety of food choices. Has good amount of vegetarian options. However, the cakes look good but don't taste as good.. we tried cheesecakes, and they were not great.. just cream and base.. Can be noisy at times, especially during lunch and phone can ring constantly.

Food fantastic, staff brilliant can't fault the place

Honeslty isn’t worth it. When going into the farm shop a blonde women with glasses was complaining about something. Telling one worker in Particular to go do this. Go do that because she couldn’t be bothered to do them herself not only that when she was serving she didn’t put any sort of happy face on and just didn’t care. Then a man came through what was probably the kitchen and came up to one of the staff and chicken something down her top making her squeal and get put off. Honeslty there very unprofessional and isn’t something they should be doing whilst serving customers. I brought some chicken fillets which still had the fat on and were not appealing. I didn’t want to get anything else as it all looked dry. Stingy and just not appealing. Then I went a brought a sausage roll and when biting into this there was a sort of wrapper around the sausage which I can only assume was the outer part of the sausage not only that the women that served me never washed her hands in between touching my chicken fillets and going and getting my sausage roll which I do think isn’t acceptable seems as it was raw meat. That carries salmonella.

Have been here many times in the past, it has always been busy, but this is the first time we had to wait 40 mins for food. The food is good (onion rings were very greasy), but I feel it's gradually losing it's reputation for 'great food'.

I went with my best friend, her little sister and her parents to the farm shop and we ate in the restaurant, the egg was undercooked and the bread was extremely soggy. About an hour and a half after leaving the farm shop I was sick and lo and behold i’ve come to the conclusion that it was the egg sandwich.

Excellent farm shop. Excellent butcher on site. Great choice of everything you would expect. Good sensible prices.

Service slow. Chips were undercooked then the panini was cold. These were replaced, but overall the quality of the food was very poor. First and very last visit. Very overpriced for poor food.

What a joke. Turned up at 3pm and got a, "we aren't serving hot food anymore" when the menu clearly states they do up until 3:30. So we ordered a toasted sandwich and ciabatta...a bacon, tomato and mozzarella cheese ciabatta...that didn't have bacon in, and it was cheddar not mozzarella...oh and it took them 40 mins to do this. Look if you can't be bothered, just say...don't pretend to be a business when you obviously don't want to be. Be a petting zoo instead

Become a regular here since moving to the area. Fresh veg and a well stocked butcher. Would recommend a visit.

Beware no customer service at this restaurant. . I actually live very close to this restaurant. I would have preferred not to leave a negative review. But due to the lack of customer service I feel I have little option. On the evening of 28th June 2024 I visited the restaurant with some friends for our evening out. I ordered the Louisiana double chicken burger with chips costing £12.95. It initially looked great but after eating some of it, I realised the burgers were very burnt (black on the underside). The staff never check in on us to see how our food was at any time. I carried on eating the chips & left the burger. I eventually found a member of staff whom I assumed was the manager. She admitted they had not come by to ask how the food was. She took the food to the Chef who apparently apologised but as I had eaten some of the food. Then no replacement or refund or gesture of goodwill would be offered. I did say I will leave a review. The lady said oh well that’s up to you. I had been a regular customer to this restaurant. if you do come to this restaurant then be aware there is no customer service if the is problem. The food here has always been hit & miss sometimes it’s good another time, it’s average but on this occasion it was terrible.

Came for Father’s Day, arrived just before 11am to order breakfast & were told it was no longer being served, yet on the menu certain items said before 11:30am. Lady at the till taking the orders was very blunt & quite rude. I asked if I could order for lunch & was told no it doesn’t start for half an hour and to come back. Ordered & ate, food was fine, servers who bought food & drinks over were lovely, polite & friendly. When we were leaving just before 12:30pm we saw a couple eating breakfasts, asked them and they had no issues ordering breakfast items from the menu. Not really happy with that level of service & how we weren’t allowed to order. Wouldn’t be in a rush to return.

Came across this place by accident ..wow what a find ..Had the steak pie with veg and gravy ..10/10 proper home cooked food ,the pie was to die for and the gravy was thick and rich ..would 100% recommend to anyone ..fter finishing our food went next door to the butchery and shop .again lovely friendly staff made very welcome ..

Very busy and quite popular. Clean and spacious with plenty of parking spaces. Salad portions with the baked potatoes could do with being a bit more generous. Prices are reasonable and not too long to wait. Need to wait to be seated, then go to counter to place order and pay. Dishes are then brought to you when ready.

I have visited on a few ocasions at various times of the day and always found the staff friendly and the food good will be visiting again.

Great looking place from the exterior, farm animals outdoor seating under cover. Food was average, cafe style, cheap and cheerful. Met for a birthday meal, 11 of us and after our mains we asked if we could do a birthday cake we brought ourselves. The waiting staff then asked if we'd like it cut which we said how lovely then it was mentioned a charge of £1 per head. We said we'll leave it but because we'd lit it we would still be charged "I don't make the rules". Very odd and never experienced this before being frequent eat out diners. We didn't pay the £11 and probably won't be back. Goats were very friendly.

Brilliant place. Very laid back and farm styled. Waiting staff friendly. Cooked breakfast was good. I had the smaller one my partner had the larger one. The cakes looked amazing and not overly priced. We don’t buy purely because we were driving back to Hertfordshire 😁

Lovely food and seating area but staff are so rude it's shocking. No customer care skills whatsoever. Rude as hell and just ignore customers waiting to be served whilst they gossip. Love to know who the boss is. Horrible place

Food always great. Good choices on the menu. Staff helpful and friendly and they all worked well together. Very popular place to eat at. Sunday lunch served, but you need to book beforehand. Nice nice.

Great restaurant just off the A17 food is fantastic

A good place to stop on the long, long haul to Suffolk along the A17. Good food, reasonably priced but the service was a bit slow as it was so busy. The goats and Alpacas provide good entertainment too

Lovely breakfast,not too long await for our meals, plenty of goats and alpacas to look at(no petting or feeding)ideal food and refreshments stop with farm shop can get very busy.

Had a wonderful day here, beautiful and sunny. The food was great too. We sat outside near the alpacas and goats, and when we were done eating the owner came over and asked how everything was and told us a little about the place and about his animals. The only thing thing I had an issue with was there didn't seem to be enough staff. They were friendly and helped but seemed a but rushed over lunch. We had a large table booked and we had to out the tables together ourselves. There was also always a long cue for the till and very little toilet paper. It is worth a visit despite the minor issue. I think they were maybe a bit busier than they had planned for because of the beautiful weather.

Made to wait for food 15mins then for got my wife's meal by the time her meal came her tea was cold ,ask for some hot water was told company policy to charge me 50p for hot water never heard anything like it in my life

This is a great choice of ours for a Sunday Carvery which the price seems to go up every time we visit. It's a help yourself carvery so it's up to you how much you have. The large one is currently 10.99 pounds. The staff are friendly and it's great now that they have a canopy where you can eat/drink outside and look at the goats and alpacas. It also provides shade to those who sit near the window because it used to be boiling hot once. The drinks are quite pricey though and I usually have half a shandy. There is a wide variety of meals on offer and is very popular so if you are looking for a quiet meal, this is not the place for you. A great find if you don't mind travelling for a decent meal.

I always enjoy breakfast here. Hot and tasty food freshly cooked. The kids options are just right. After eating you can go and look at the animals or visit the food shop. Plenty of free parking.

Strange place. The owners have clearly spent a lot of money on this place. Definitely not a restaurant. Posh cafe at the best. Food was ok, it was busy enough which was surprising. Good choice of the menu. Fantastic farm shop. More effort on the side salad next time please. If you’re hungry and passing by then this is worth stopping for a family meal. If you want to go somewhere special then I would find a nice pub. Definitely not a restaurant.

Very disappointed , called for coffee and scone on way to Sleaford.. Coffee (flat white) awful , till staff grumpy and totally disinterested…..on a positive note the lady who delivered the coffee outside was pleasant / friendly.. Should have complained but didn’t was in a hurry.

The food was lovely but sometimes it is not very hot. I prefer my food pipping hot and the Sunday lunch is not hot enough for me. Lovely cafe and the tables are not too close.

We had a brilliant meal on Friday 19th. This was to celebrate my mums 89th birthday. The food was faultless, as was the service and staff. The restaurant was packed full to the brim, but the staff all took time to speak to us, asked we had enjoyed our meal. When people left the table was wiped, so was all clean for the next customer. We even took cakes home for later, and they were lovely too. The negative posts on here, don't take notice of them, we have been quite a few times to Ivy's and have never been disappointed with the food the service or the staff. Thankyou to all of you. For making my mums birthday that bit special

Very poor selection of fresh cakes/cheesecakes in counter in shop. So you go around to restaurant which have alot more for over a £1 more than shop!!!! Yes if your eating-in there is a service charge but if you takeaway it should be shop price. And as for the staff none are polite or happy.

Very busy & noisy. Had the carvery steak & kidney pie. Very tasty. Good value for money. Staff expected customers to know the routine, it was our first time there, so we got rather confused which spoilt our visit.

Been going to this farm shop for years . I think there is a large choice of products including a very good butchers all under one roof plenty of free parking too. Helpful will carry bag of tates ect and load in your car. We have used the cafe too and found the meal was ok and reasonably priced.

Good local produce, nice food in the restaurant and very friendly staff

In a party of over 25 all served as ordered and together. Amazing service.
