Great family atmosphere and quiz! Had a great time with friends and family and would definitely come again! Fab little place

this is such a lovely pub to socialise in. there are tvs all around the pub which is great for a sports event. their is lovely seating outside and a play park for little ones. the food is amazing and the staff also. i highly recommend this pub

The Seven Woods is great place for casual drinks & food, the Monday night offer of a Pizza & drink for £11.50 is great value. The service was good too, with our server Sophie being very friendly & doing great table service. Thanks Sophie ☺️

Came in to use my 30% voucher. Food was amazing as always and the staff behind the bar are always happy to help. This is my local and there is a reason for that. 5* and excellent.

Came in for a beer and some Olympic action. Pub had an amazing atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Will be back soon

Visit here for the football and playing poker on a Tuesday evening. It’s a brilliant local and the staff are excellent!!

Lovely night tonight. Came in to watch Liverpool v Everton and the service was just fabulous. Was served by Lauren I believe all night who was really smiley.

Been a local to this pub for many years, we always have a great time, food is consistently fabulous and there's always a lively & friendly atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond all the time, especially Jenna, whom is always very helpful, friendly and smiling. This is what makes the place truly amazing.

I visited last night with my family and we were treated very well by all of the staff, I had the hunters chicken that was delicious and would highly recommend. Harvey also was taking care of us all night and made our night special!

Disgusting slow service staff grumpy ordered sausage and mash mash powdered mash gravy congealed frozen soggy veg will not return or recommend

We usually just come for drinks which are very affordable,on this occasion we ordered food which was amazing hot well presented and very tasty definitely be dining in the future

Absolutely Atrocious... Me and mates went to watch Liverpool Vs Tottenham and they forced us to buy drinks, and once we ALL bought them the blonde woman was VERY rude to us all, stole back the drinks and booted us all out with a threatening of the police??! They still haven't arrived and as a local,I can say I am so disappointed that they can't treat young people correctly. TERRIBLE

Food was great quality, very well presented, very reasonably priced and great value for money. The cost of the food easily rivals the local BOGOF offers at other pubs, and the quality was much better, with in my opinion, a better menu.Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Will without doubt go back again

Stopped in for a drink before we went to the cinema. It was busy so we had to sit to the right as you come in. The area with no carpet. I’ve never been here before but it stunk of dog. On a plus staff are friendly & the service was what you’d expect.

We had booked tickets for the cinema just around the corner from here. We picked here to eat as the managers parents were talking to us about it. As we came in off the car park it looked very welcoming with all the decorations. On entering it was a lovely warm pub with lots of little areas to sit it. We both had the gammon & eggs chips and peas. We were very happy with the staff happy and friendly and remembered our drinks the next time we went to the bar..... I only wish our local was this nice.

Went to the Seven Woods on Saturday with my husband, stepdaughter and son who was home from University for the evening. We decided to have lunch out and decided that we would go to the Seven Woods again as we have had quite a few lovely and great value meals here in recent years. This time we decided on the 2 burgers and 2 drinks for £12 offer. My son and husband decided to have the Double Whammy and myself and my stepdaughter had the Cowboy each. These were not just basic cheap plain burgers like other places do when you have an offer but were very big and filling and we could choose any burger off the menu except the XL ones. Very good value and the service was great too. Will definitely be back again soon.

Great for food, great value, lovely staff. The place seemed nice and clean, and had lots of nice finishing touches such as the lights in the beer garden and little flowers on tables. Will be visiting again.

I only popped in her for a couple of pints while waiting for family to finish at the Cinema around the corner. As soon as I stepped onto the drive the place had a lively family friendly atmosphere. Warm Saturday summer's day and had live music outside and gentle background music inside alongside it's nice pub decor. Good selection of real ales aswell as premium lagers and alcoholic slushies. I would strongly recommend visiting if you're in the area

Hands down the best pizza ever. The 3 of us had 2 pizzas, cheesy garlic bread, haloumi fries and curly fries. All of it was piping hot and came out really fast. Young lad in blue shirt was extremely helpful and very customer focused. Will defo be coming back :)

Provides a range of beers , the food is very average. Peasant place with, for the most part, staff. Only downside is the number of kids on a Friday evening and the continuous television, which comes at you from all directions.

Visit every week (weather permitting) with our dog either for a quick drink or lunch, price and quality of food is really good. Well worth a visit / does get really busy though.

Waitress made us feel very welcome and the service was great. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Lunch time menu available 12-3pm that's a great choice and also very reasonable. Table tennis in the garden was an added bonus for the kids. Been here 3 times now and never had to complain about anything. Would recommend to anyone. 5*

I’d already heard about Seven Woods and their new menu. Food was excellent and very filling (almost left no room to sample the good range of beers). Staff were very friendly and were happy to help. Will definitely go again the next time I’m in the area.

serious fight here two weeks ago, drinks smashed and one of my firends was knocked tot the floor and the management handled it really poorly, we are convinved they lied to the polcie about it.

Visited the Seven Woods over Christmas for the festive menu- well what a good decision!!

I attended today for a family meal and the food was delicious and the staff could not have been nicer. Will definitely return. Little things go a long way and the landlady was very chatty and checking everything was ok. Very good value for money

Visited at 730pm with my 13 year old daughter for her birthday some mum and daughter time. ordered food for myself and her food came out wrong had to be redone. Right meals then came out at 845pm as the waitress walked off someone came over to say children had to vacate at 9pm. I advised she had only just got her food the lady said sorry its company policy. Food wasn't great and not a very good experience. Even though it sells food and has been refurbished it still had the atmosphere of a drinkers pub

I usually don't write bad reviews or try not too but this was disgusting. This is how my glass came, I'm not one to complain face to face (fear of the old tales). The staff tried to make it welcoming but starting clearing the table whilst one of us was still eating and was stood over the family member when doing it. The food was average. Won't be visiting again.

The food here was really nice and the price was right too. Was a little disappointed with the so called play area for the kids, could do with a bit more thought going into it. Overall the service was good and the food was really good.

I had the small all day breakfast, sausages burnt, bacon cold and overdone fried eggs. All in all not very good. The staff on the other hand are great.

We have ordered food from over an hour ago but the kids wore hungry and a bit mad, and one of my Foster carer complained how long is the food but the staff member did not say.

Visited this pub on a friday night at 5.30pm on the 27th of july after a 3 hour trek to get to warrington. Walked in and immediately noticed it was really busy.

Went for lunch with 16 year old daughter before going to nearby cinema. Saturday is 2 burgers and 2 drinks for £12 so we had a pretzel burger, chicken fajita burger, a Pepsi and a J2O. Food was tasty and decent portions. Daughters burger was huge the burger looked homemade nice and thick and mine was a large full chicken breast nice and juicy. Lots of deals and if anything like Saturdays then it’ll be a bargain.

Popped in with my partner after work, quite tired and hungry. I created my own issue when ordering food and then queried it with the landlady to see if anything could be done. Although I completely messed up on ordering, they were more than happy to rectify the problem with a smile. The staff are well trained and really friendly, can't fault it and the chicken/mustard pie was delicious!

Came here for food last month and my boyfriend ordered me the wrong drink. I went to the bar and politely asked if it could be changed. The manager refused to do so and sat staring me out throughout my meal and making me feel uncomfortable, so we ate our food and left. As we were walking out she shouted ‘what you looking at’ aggressively towards me in front of many customers. Extremely disappointed I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

I visited last night with a few mates. We had been drinking gin all night. I ordered 3 double Bloom g&t;’s to which the girl responded ‘we don’t serve that’ even though I could see the full bottle directly behind her! She then poured 2 singles. So I politely corrected her. She then said to her colleague ‘Can you serve him, im not doing it anymore’ ?!?!!!! Rude!

We visited here for my twins birthday meal. The staff behind the bar were ignorant and after asking what drinks we wanted, she then turned around to chat to the other staff completely ignoring us. Finally when we got served were told they had ran out of ice! We sat down to choose our food. Upon ordering, the same girl ignored us again and served the couple stood behind us. Once we were finally acknowledged, we were told they had stopped serving food at 8. It was 7.55! The staff were all ignorant and extremely young and incompetent. To hear a member of staff swear was not professional. I've visited many Marstons pubs and this place was by the worst for service. We went onto The Skymaster instead with the best best service and food and they served food until 9! Will not be returning to The Seven Woods

After someone recommended this pub for lunch we went today. We both decided to go for the offer** of 2 course lunch @ £5.00 each plus a pint for me & glass of wine @ £1.00 each.

6 of us and 2 toddlers enjoyed a varied selection of food. Not too long a wait considering it was a busy period. The waitress was really efficient and worked with a smile on her face. All the food was very tasty and great value.

Quite a large group of us visited for lunch and we were really pleased by the speed and quality of food. We hadn't booked as were going for an early lunch and it doesn't tend to be too busy at that time. The staff accommodated us well and were very friendly. Everybody enjoyed their meals. The menu choice is huge and very reasonably priced.

We’ve just been out for a quick lunch so tried the 7 Woods as we haven’t eaten there for a while. It was very good, surprisingly so, I was expecting ok but it was really good. As a vegetarian I find most pub food a bit bland but this was really tasty. The service was friendly and very quick, I would recommend it & will definitely eat there again.

We decided to have a late evening meal there which is very nice indeed of good food. The staff were helpful and polite whilst the pub is very busy as well.

Recently we booked this venue for a family wake and I can’t praise them enough the staff were lovely and accommodating as it is hard to assess numbers sometimes the lovely management pulled out all the stops for us to make it a special time recommend to anyone thanks Lez and Vicki x

We found the waiting staff to be good. We like the fact someone comes to the table rather than you having to go to the till with a table no. The food is nothing special but perfectly reasonable for the price.

The pub itself was refurbished recently but already it’s looking tired. I decided to have something to eat and was served a pie that had clearly been microwaved accompanied by congealed gravy. I took it back not even wanting a replacement meal. I was refunded the cost and that was that. I would only recommend this place unless you’re really desperate and have the same low standards that this pub offers

My brother and I celebrated Xmas dinner here last year and it was excellent.

Went here for supper when staying at Gulliver's hotel.Was easy to find.Service was okay.Food was good.Children's play area was a nice touch.

The table tennis is a good addition to the somewhat run down garden and provided some entertainment for the kids. The smell coming from the drains however wasn't welcome and we had to move tables to get away from it.The food was very average but cheap, would have been happy to pay a bit more for better quality. Staff a friendly and service prompt. All in all it's ok but won't be in too much of a hurry to return

We came here on both a Tuesday and Thursday and both times were excellent. It was the same staff of both nights and they were lovely and friendly. We ordered food and the bar member (small, brown hair) was lovely and had great knowledge of the menu and was amazing at giving us a little direction of what to order. The food came at it was great and tasted amazing. I overall we love coming here for both a few drinks or food and the staff that served us are a real credit to the pub.

We visited on Wednesday evening. Not one member of staff welcomed us or even looked at us and they were not particularly busy. We found a table in a quiet area and that was pleasant enough. I ordered food at the bar. To be fair, when I told the server, Charlotte, that I was deaf, she did make a point of trying to speak clearly and helping me. The table server arrived shortly afterwards and just put cutlery on the table, on top of some serviettes. The cutlery was not wrapped. She asked if we needed sauces but we did not. I had lasagne and it was very tasty. My husband had scampi and he said it was OK. The food was hot and our drinks were fine. I think it was the atmosphere that was lacking. The staff were not very welcoming or attentive. The menu was very ordinary but the prices were reasonable. There is car parking but be careful on the path as you leave the pub, some of the bricks are loose on the path.
