Seven Up in Plymouth

I'm a usual regular and I'm always satisfied with the food and service, overall very happy and my favourite dish is the Kung-po special 😋 Terry

Food was excellent, can’t understand negative comments. Will definately go again. I have never had a bad dish from 7 up and the prices are competive with others in the area..

We food was delivered 30mins after they stated, when it turned up it was very cold, the beef was not sliced very good, and it had no taste whatsoever. It was a whatever of £14. I will never use or recommend this take away again.

Ordered a takeaway, food was good, no complaints just haven't rated 5 star as I have had better.

Hands down the best Chinese in Plymouth, i refuse to order from any other Chinese takeaway even if it's Tuesday when they are closed, have ordered from here dozens of times and not once had a bad meal or service, highly recommend I guarantee they are better than any other Chinese takeaway in Plymouth!!

Never had a problem ordering from Seven up. Food is always hot, cooked well and full of flavour, decent on price as well. Very accommodating if you have any little changes very good with suggestions as well.

AVOID THIS CHINESE TAKEAWAY I HAD SERIOUS STOMACH PAINS FOR 4DAYS AFTER FOOD WAS NEARLY AN HOUR LATE EVENTFULLY WHEN IT TURN UP IT WAS FREEZING COLD !!!!! THE BEEF CURRY WAS LIKE DOG MEAT WITH ABOUT 40 PEAS WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS ALLERGIC TO THEM THE HOUSE SPECIAL FRIED RICE WAS BLAND AND cold the whole meal was absolutely disgusting I had stomach pains for days after the staff at the shop seven up Chinese takeaway did nothing about My complaint about the disgusting food This order with this. Honest was 25.00 and it was so disgusting it could not be eaten avoid this takeaway at all costs !!

One of our local takeaways! One of the better takeaways throughout Plymouth. Priced very reasonably and always return if the partner or I fancy a quick Chinese and a movie after work! 🥡

Just ordered special chow main looked and smelt good, I had to take the chicken out as it didn't look cooked and was slimey

Worst Chinese ever. chicken was raw and when we phoned up to sort it out we were told its always like this. we could drive back to have it replaced as they had no drivers to come back to ours. Customer service is terrible almost as bad as there food. Please everyone stay away and save your money and possibly your health

Not the best beef curry tough and chewy curry is sweet and really thin and tastless and they forgot my chicken fried rice. Not good

Food was delivered cold,when we phoned to complain they simply said eat that and we'll give you a free one next time. We explained we didn't want to eat cold food we wanted it replaced. " We're very busy can't you just eat it" We insisted on a replacement which they eventually agreed. It arrived slightly hotter but not very nice at all. We certainly won't be going here again. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Decent little Chinese take away. Can't really fault them. Decent food with nice friendly staff. Sometimes go over their estimated delivery times at weekends but they get extremely busy,and the counter lady covers two phone lines and the counter. I reccomend this delightful Chinese.

Best Chinese ever!!! Collected but they do delivery aswell, salt and chilli chicken and special fried rice😍😍 100% coming again.

I think this take away is aload of s**t got to eat hours beforur food even turns up need to get more people in to do it

Never a fault. Just about the best take away for Chinese in Plymouth. I have lived all over Plymouth unfortunately normally to far for delivery. It's so good I drive past many of the others that I have tried to get to Seven Up.

Great quality and good value with really quick delivery service.

As a family we order from this take away often and never had problems before.However we placed an order at 6.45pm and was told there is an hour wait which for a saturday night was to be expected but at 8.15pm we still hadnt received our order so rang the takeaway back.We were told that they were really busy and was awaiting a driver but it would be with us soon so our food hadnt even left the takeaway shop!!My husband expressed that he wasnt happy with the service and asked if they were willing to offer anything for our inconvenience as a good will gesture, we was offered vegetable spring rolls which we dont eat and didnt need anymore food as order was already enough food for the both of us... we asked if we could have a free bottle of coke which after going to check with the chef was agreed would be fair enough.2 hrs later no chinese, so rang again and got told it was on his way, I told them that i expected to have the meal for free and i got told as its now left the kitchen i would have to pay for it word of warning avoid like the plaque awful service and we wont be going there again!!

We used to go here a lot, en route home from the Britannia, (which is just across the road), haven't done it for years though, but had a spur of the moment decision to recreate our old menu choices for our Friday night takeaway. Maybe we have changed, maybe we should have had a few pints first, but it was not as good as we remembered - it's OK but not special; could be I am extra biased though as I was given pork balls, when we ordered prawn.

I've been ordering for over 2 years now, no problems. Last three orders, I rang at 5pm requestig a 7pm delivery as usual. Two orders were delivered 45 mins late after me phoning to remind them and today's order was missing "free prawn crackers" after being delivered 20 mins too early. I've been spending, on average, £890.00 per year but now I am going somewhere else. My advice to you?... If you want good food, they deliver but if you want good customer service then give them a miss.

Food was nice but not worth the wait and the poor service put me off even more, ordered two meals so wasn't even a huge order and was left waiting in total an 1 hour 45 minutes for delivery. Called to chase and was advise its on the way, waited another 20 minutes! Was recommended this take away by a friend, think I'll stick to what I know and a half hour delivery service, no one likes waiting or eating that late!!!

I have never made a complain to these befor but to it was to many onions and i gave just been sick on the food beef curry never again i am never sick but tonight i was so i hope they contact me on this from( macaulay cresent)

We have been a customer for many years and tonight they failed in all aspects of customer care. they turned up with items missing from a meals said they would redeliver the missing items so by the time they get to us our sweet and sour chicken had gone cold and they refused to replace the whole meal. The rice wasn't even delivered with in the ten minutes they said it would be. Cold dinners all round tonight.

We have always liked the food here had it for years and no problems.

Shocking customer service! Stopped ordering early doors as the chicken was hard & had been reheated. Placed a delivery order tonight an hour in advance and 1.5 hrs later rang to find out where it was & was told it was on its way. Thirty minutes later still no delivery to be told they thought they'd sent it out. Unprofessional, unreliable coupled with a complete lack of interest from the staff

Hemos sido regulares en esta lágrima para llevar unos pocos ahora. En nuestro último fin entregar era cotizada en aproximadamente 45 minutos, esperamos casi una hora y media. Que nuestra comida nos llegan 2 item que faltaba, así que les llamé para quejarme y me dijeron que iban a revisar nuestro orden y conseguir los elementos faltantes directamente a nosotros, esto llevó otros 45 minutos y la comida estaba bajo preparada y horrible. Nunca volveré de nuevo.

an average take away, a no thrills experience, conveniently located for that snack walking in or out of town. not much chance of parking. and a lot of the food is insanely greasy. non of the food that i've had has been bad, but theres still better food to be had in plymouth.

Just had a deliver from 7up and everytime we have order over a certain amount of food we always get let down in having our prawn crackers this the third it's happened to us now getting fed up with it and also when spkoe to the manager he said that give it to us next time i will put one in but i didn't want it next i want it tonight now next time he didn't like it at all the food is nice but getting prawn crackers of them is really really stupid pissed of it now my partner is not happy at all she not even eating her meal that we brought cause they couldn't be bothered to put prawn crackers what a wastie of money really stupid this is want something done about it really do

Most shocking customer service I have ever received. They messed up My order and refused to replace it. Apparently no drivers would be going out that way tonight and they were too busy... Even know my order showed up less than half hour after ordering. Would not give a refund, even though there was no way I'd eat it that way and had just wasted nearly £10 on my half of the meal and was left with just chips. So my partner had to eat his food while I was sat with a container of stuff I didn't even like. The lady on the phone had a awful attitude. Offered me the same thing Free next time but why would I order again when my first ever order was so bad? Absolute joke

Awesome Chinese food and nice young people work here, good to see a company employ some local youths instead of the usual 30 ish aged takeaway workers. And realchinese food cooked by Chinese people makes it awesome place

Food missing won't refund or replace. This is the second time will not be ordering from here again and I advice people if you want what you paid for stay away from here
