Ordered this food for delivery and it took ages and food tasted awful AVOID

Food came unbelievable early yet was cold, my food tasted like fish. Everything was clearly cross contaminated so I called to ask for help and was met with disgusting customer service. The bloke on the phone must have been either hungover or drunk as he was slurring every word but claimed to be a relative of the owner so apparently that’s completely fine! After speaking to me like complete crap I asked for an apology and was literally told no. All food was dried out and disgusting. Do not order from here as you will be severely disappointed what a complete waste of £40 and a terrible way to end my Boxing Day, merry Christmas ay!

Uber eats suggested a 30 minute delivery time. Our food took 2.5 hours to arrive with nothing to make up for it.

Was staying at a local premier in. So wanted something other than the usual attached beefeater. This place is not the nicest looking establishment but food was good I had Singapore fried rice which was good and a beef chow mein that had plenty of gravy. Portions were a good size. Marked service down as they did not take card payments insisting on cash only. Also unable to offer a receipt.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Ordered online, delivery time came and went, contacted the restaurant to be told it would be another half hour. An hour later it still hadnt arrived. Attempted to contact the restaurant over 30 times over the space of an hour only to be met with caller busy. Can only assume it was someone else complaining or they disconnected the phone. Awful service. Avoid at all costs. Should be removed from justeat so others avoid the same trap.

So I asked the lady if they do prawn rolls she said no the nearest we do to that is Prawn balls, I said no that will be too much better she said will we do spring rolls as stringy onion beans in it with pork and one prawn? I said I’d have that Then I asked her do they do banana? Fritters she said yes I said how many do you get it? She said to I said I’ve one of those alongside a bag of crackers that came to £9.60 p when I got home, the bag was leaking in golden syrup dripping all over my brand-new carpet that I’ve just had laid down in my new flat stained the carpet then I bit into the spring roll all that was in there no pork no prawns just batter and them stringy beans I emptied it out into another Chinese pot I had in the cupboard and that’s all that was there no prawns no pork just stringy beans when I cleared up the mess from the banana fritters even though it still stains in my carpet there was swimming in golden syrup. It tasted horrible. The batter was soggy. The banana was soggy and it was literally swimming it. It was disgusting. I think the outcome of this the only thing that tasted really good was the prawn crackers , I don’t know how they haven’t got a five star rating because when you inside it looks like it has not been paid for 50 years they could do with painting the walls dusty with new flooring because there’s chips in all the tiles and the windows could do with a very good clean for a disabled person for his first time boy at this shop that is very bad for him to have an experience like this please like and share and make people aware they say on the viewings it’s for the late night workers I’m guessing for the dockyard and for people that work late night so I need a quick grub ASAP I don’t know how they have ended up with food poisoning diarrhoea, and sickness the next day from it

If i could give a minus i would! Customer service is no existent.! Good turned up freezing cold and not edible! I phoned as we ordered Grilled King prawns.! What could possibly go wrong with Grilled king prawns??? Well it come in an omelette with 6 prawns in. When i contacted the store the boss was screaming in the background that it was our fault for ordering something we didn’t know. Apparently everyone knows Grilled King prawns is an omelette!! I’m sorry i thought that was fu young, which by the way they also offer!! When informed th i now couldn’t eat my tea due to an allergy to egg i was met with and i quote ‘i don’t care not our problem contact uber eats. You ordered it’ I informed them it’s false advertisement. That’s not even to bring on the cold comment which also was apparently not their fault. Absolutely vile Chinese, vile customer service.! Do not go to save yourself their overpriced inedible meals!

Please do not order the munchie box unless you want the driest and chewiest food of your life. It was thick with salt and had no other flavour. Arrived cold.

sent wrong order ,I ordered honey mustard chicken and was sent sweet and sour which I hate !! they didn't update system as delivered so couldn't complain on here (how convenient !!) won't use them again

A regular customer, tonight ordered as friend staying over. House chowmein ordered lots of times previously, never a complaint, but tonight it was disgusting. £17 fot chips and what was effectively just noodles with two small bits of burned and tough pieces of shriveled beef. Fair to say our meal was scooped from what was at bottom of saucepan. Definitely put paid to ordering again.

"Toby" is the rudest person EVER. Placed an order on deliveroo for a munchies box for my husband amd friend and some plain noodles for myself (due to allergies, its the only thing I know is generally safe) - it arrived with onion, spring onion, beansprouts and mushroom in so I called and said I ordered plain, they said that is plain... I explained there must have been some confusion and I was happy to pay another delivery fee if it could be exchanged. "Nah, you ordered that dish" etc. I explained that because I have an allergy and the dish delivered contains allergens not on the list on the deliveroo menu. Young "Toby" continued to berate me, refuse me to speak to anyone else (despite telling me other staff were present, though their English wasn't fantastic - funny that once I started to contact deliveroo through my husband's phone Toby and the owner could be heard speaking perfect English to eachother. Eventually I was offered a replacement dish, but why did it have to be so convoluted. I wasn't arsey when the wrong dish was sent, I simply said I think there's been a mistake, and had also offered to pay the delivery driver for the return journey. Shame because the food for everyone else was actually quite nice, apparently. Just horrific customer service. Toby should be absolutely ashamed of himself for how he spoke to me on the phone tonight.

The food quality was atrocious. It was dry, and the presentation was so bad. It seemed like they sent leftover bits. I threw the food into the bin, I just could not bring myself to eat it. It is wrong to show this lack of consideration for online purchases. I don't think the people who prepared this food could have dared serve it to their pets. This is so so wrong and shouldn't be allowed. This is taking advantage of people who order, placing faith in the candour of the people who prepare and send the food.

Ordered though deliveroo and was very impressed with the food quantity and quantity. Ordered the Hot Appetisers, which had a tasty selection of starters. House Special Chow Mein had lots of meat and king prawns and was very tasty. Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls were delicious with lovely big chunks of chicken and quite a few of them. Even the prawn crackers were flavoursome and not greasy. All in all a very delicious meal and would definitely order again. Was too hungry and eager to take picks!

Brilliant! So we usually have a ‘go to’ Chinese, but we needed to order earlier, so went with here. Wow, what can I say… order was early, delivery driver was polite, the food tasted great and the portion size was champion! We now have a new ‘go to’ thank you!

We use this place now and again and have never had an issue. We order through just eat and it has always been delivered in good time & piping hot. The food is always delicious and good-sized portions. Delivery staff are always cheerful & friendly.

Called up the gaff ravenous, I had an ache to get absolutely paralysed by a heavy munch. Asked for a munchie box as I saw it on the menu and it looked devious. You're supposed to get spring rolls chicken balls some ribs and something else with bone in it, being someone who hates food with bones in I asked if they could just wham some extra chicken balls and spring rolls in. Fella on the phone was a lovely gentleman, who went through the menu with us and sorted us out, removing anything with bones in it, as to not slow me down on my scran rampage. When we got the food it was still hot, we popped open the treasure chest of cholesterol to reveal a hefty box filled with chips, spring rolls, chicken balls and crispy beef. We topped it off with some curry sauce and went to town. It cost £23.10, cheap for a ticket to scran limbo. The food was nice typical assortment of carbs, wish we'd ordered a drink or a curry to go alongside it as it got dry quick, mostly our faults. We got about halfway through together before keeling over in a hot sweat on the living room floor. If you're in the mood to send yourself through the 9 layers of food oblivion, get one of the munchie boxes Lovely gaff, lovely staff, heavy munch x

got sent the wrong food, called the restaurant up to tell them and they hung up on me. called them back and they said they will sort it next time. so I had to go out and get some food whilst the rest of my family enjoyed their Chinese.

Absolutely unacceptable. It arrived over 60 minutes late - when it did eventually arrive the food was not very good and the delivery driver was the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. She just dumped it into my hands and walked off, no apology out of common courtesy at all for the lateness

It only takes one bad experience for me to change a takeaway place. I have been using this place since 2017. Never had a bad one yet! Every dish we have tried has been great and delivery on time or slightly early.

2.5hrs on average for delivery. Don't say on Deliveroo food will be 50 minutes when you don't have enough delivery drivers to make anywhere near this time. Food has arrived over 2hrs late and cold on another occasion and we thought it was a one off, clearly not. 2.5 laters and food still isn't here... Call reception 'oh it's 10 mins away' utter lies. Will not be ordering again. Don't cut corners on staff when your custom is left for hours on end for cold food to arrive. Horrific place

Fantastic food, our new favorite!

Had to call the restaurant twice after my food was late. First time I called I was told they were on route I called half an hour later to get the same rude answer from the women on the phone. Took a very long time to drive to me seeing as your they’re about 5 minute walk. When my food finally did arrive it was all but stone cold

Food was tasty but a little cold (weather).

King Prawn and Mushroom as well as the mushroom chow mein were superb. Loved it.

Was due between 18.20 & 18.40 rang around 18.45 18.50 as it was then showing it was delivered. Rang the take away and they said it was on its way. Rang half an hour later because it still hadn’t turned up. They rang the driver and he had delivered it to the wrong house. They told us they would cook it all again and send out a new order. Which was good of them.

Shame on time for delivery, great food as always. I'll have to start ordering way earlier than usual.

The food was so dry it was inedible and items were missing , the sauce had spilt everywhere inside the bag and when I called to complain , the chefs in the backround started shouting and the guy who took the call was incredibly rude. I would never order from them again and DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Over an hour late wrong food chicken kebab meat smothered in mayo , this is not Chicken Sharwama!!! Oh and once again salad containing cucumber despite not asking for it or ticking on the option no spicy sauce just some weird tatsiki sauce again not order salad inedible again this is the 2nd time in 3 orders has been wrong never using them again

This is my own experience, working for this place doing deliveries, and looking at the reviews on the food and the service. I’m not surprised at peoples bad reviews because of how they speak and treat to their staff as well. I worked at this company for a month and that was enough to make me leave. I got screamed at inside of my OWN CAR for bringing a family member with me to do deliveries, for some reason, they have a massive issue with bringing someone with you to do deliveries and I wasn’t all that confident on places, so I brought someone with me just in case. And also when it’s dark and you’re young female, it’s kind of a little bit scary to be doing deliveries. As the owner of this place, decided to scream inside the car at me, she also decided to yank my door so hard open that she actually ripped the seal on my door, and then went on to slam my door shut. I understand there was a communication issue because she didn’t speak much English which Im not degrading, but for her to come inside of MY car and scream in my face and my family members face to them break the seal on my door, and then slammed my door shut. I just think this Chinese takeaway is so unprofessional and have no respect for their customers or their staff. They also continued to repeatedly overcharge one of the elderly regular customers I had that I was delivering to in plymstock, and they were charging him £4 for Plymstock, even though he was inside of the miles radius for cheaper delivery. I also noticed Customers, were also spending over the amount for a bag of FREE bag of prawn crackers and not receiving them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was over an hour late. Cucumber for the shredded duck was slimy and inedible. There was hair in the food and it was ultimately not nice at all. We called to chase our order twice and then tried to call to complain about the food to find that no one was answering. Never again.

Food took over 2 hours to get here from ordering And 50 mins after a rang to see where it was and they said it had left 10 mins ago. Food was cold and meal was ruined!!

Wrong order delivered at just past 8pm, returned to the driver and asked for the correct order to be sent out. Rang after half an hour of hearing nothing, only to be told my order is 'with the driver' multiple times. Almost three hours after placing my order, I finally get my food; and it's barely luke warm. Extremely disappointing.

AVOID! Terrible service, they would not refund us for a missing dish, no free prawn crackers as advertised, basically called me a liar! Unbelievably rude on the phone when I called to let them know, the food was tasteless too but I didn’t even mention that, I was too shocked at how they spoke to me!! Like I say, I say it again and again and again, they are the best Chinese in Plymouth freshly cooked delivered with lovely fresh ingredients. I would never go anywhere else for a decent Chinese apart from this place.

By far the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Everything was over cooked & stale. I wouldn’t even risk giving them a second chance. Avoid!
