Seven Districts - Coffee Roasters - Lincoln in West Lindsey

First time at this establishment. Met up with friends who were staying close by. The place is well.desigjed and looks good, but sadly the staff were rather lacking in their customer service. Ordered two lattes, a black coffee and a tea. Followed by four pannis. The lattes were only just luke warm and the milk for the tea was off and curdled when adding to the tea. Went back and advised them lattes were only Luke warm, and I was told I should have ordered extra hot!!! Both replaced with what can only be described as marginly warmer drinks. Not sure I should have to ask for a hot drink to arrive hot.?!?!? Pannis arrived, dry bland and no real evidence that they had actually been toasted. Salad garnish was nice. To sum the experience, luke warm coffee, gone off milk served, dry, bland pannis.......Customer service needs revieing and maybe play some music in there as there was absolutely no atmosphere in there...well apart from the curt atmosphere created by the staff. Driven past so many times, thinking I must stop there and enjoy a nice drink and food......wished we had just driven past and not stopped there today at all.

Panini dry and lacked toasting and any taste. Coffee served warm and tea served with milk that had turned. Staff ok ish. First and last visit.

This is a nice place, coffee is really good, the only thing thats annoying is when ordering a take away coffee, it's never full to the top

Stopped for a take out flat white on way to Grimsby - what a find! Fantastic coffee. Will be back next time I'm here for the breakfast. Friendly staff and good vibes

Such a cute place with a really comfortable environment and great staff, the match latte here is especially amazing! The unexpected menu if food is brilliant too.

Poachers eggs were good .. however the panini (not crisp or toasty just white soft bread) left a lot to be desired.. too much pesto .. very little mozzarella or tomatoe.. coffees luke warm and the bottle of water on the table was warm ..trendy gimmick but not good ..no one came and asked how the food was .. .?nice building .. good car park etc didn’t attempt a cake or dessert ..🤷‍♀️really disappointed

What a lovely coffee shop. The staff were so friendly. We took one of our dogs with us which was nice. We has the waffles with poached egg bacon and maple butter, totally to die for, and eggs on sourdough, will definetly be back. Lovely quirky decor and a nice outside coffee garden too :)

Nice cakes and freshly made coffee but I would have preferred the Americano coffee stronger. Next time I'll order a shot of espresso as well.

First time here and it was relaxed and the drink was well made and a lovely selection of cakes and tray bakes to choose from! Lots of space to park outside. I would definitely visit again.

Not the cheap roadside greasy spoon you might expect to find here. This converted pub was a pleasant place to refuel after a day walking in the Wolds. Food was good, gf options were a huge bonus but best of all was the quality of the coffee. Far from cheap but I don't mind paying for quality.

We visit here quite often. It's a good stop-off point when we are out motorcycling or on a day out in the car. Staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee is good, hot, and there is a good selection. Food is fresh, tasty, with a decent selection of dishes, cakes, buns, etc. There is outdoor seating for those warmer days. Parking is ok, but the entrance exit road could do with at least some good patching, but don't let that put you off. We'll worth a visit

Wow this place looked amazing I loved it immediately. The service was great, they even had Matcha on the menu which I couldn’t resist. I loved the decor and the location. It really is well worth a visit

Me and my partner came here for a takeaway coffee on the drive to our friends house which I have to say… the quality of the coffee was fabulous and the ginger and lime cake was to die for 😋. We then came back on the Sunday morning for breakfast. The breakfast was amazing, we had a very high end good quality full English. Although it was not cheap, I don’t mind paying more for good service and excellent local produce!

Wow. Just found a hidden gem here! And it's dog friendly! Carrot cake is to die for. What a beautiful breakfast!

I was en route to Grimsby having visited family in London and needed a rest break refreshment. Used to work locally and had often driven past often saying I should try it. I parked up and walked in. Ordered myself a latte and carrot cake and found a seat. The barista came to my table with the order. The coffee and carrot cake went down in next to no time, and was very nice. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Not CE place for a coffee, slightly higher price than some

Our first, last time here..Items x 2 - Sourdough toast cold, avocado fine, 2 poached eggs cold, probably pre poached and then freshened up pre serving, smoked salmon slices ok. 2 coffee in a miniscule cup, tasted so bitter even with 2 sugars!

We called on today for a pannini which took ages to arrive they weren't weren't even pannini buns they were ordinary buns had been used presentation was awful 😕

Nice enough place, good parking. Nice drinks and snacks but expensive.

Customer service has always been hit or miss in the time I have eaten at Seven Districts (33 times for a total of £957.41 in the last year) but today my order was wrong (not for the first time) however when I questioned it a member of staff decided to lie straight to my face without hesitation…. Safe to say I will think twice about coming back as just because the food quality is generally good when they get it right the experience still leaves you with a sour taste in your mouth

Stopped at Seven Districts for brunch with my son. We had excellent flat whites and my son had Avo & Eggs on Sourdough and I had The Poacher’s Eggs on Sourdough. Really nice brunch and great service at our local and favourite coffee house.

Good coffee, great stop off place, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately nothing savoury to eat, only sweet items. Perhaps we just hit it at a bad time, but a bit disappointing as we were hoping for a savoury snack.

Went to collect a magic bag they didn't understand the concept of it staff obviously not made aware.

A satisfactory experience. Bacon and second slice of sourdough missing from both Full English Breakfasts. When I raised this with the young lady behind the till there was no apology and I almost felt like I was being questioned as to whether we had quickly eaten the bacon… When the missing bacon was brought out, we was informed that the full English now only comes with 1 slice of sourdough and the menu hadn’t been updated to reflect this - really not acceptable to be openly false advertising. One of the latte was luke warm. Water bottle and glasses on the table - not clean. The food was ok, but overall experience was not good enough to return.

Let's keep this simple,,, two full English breakfast and tea,very good portions and the tea was served in coffee pots. However the restaurant area was pretty grubby and looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned for weeks, dust and cobwebs everywhere, floor and table tops were pretty grim. Got ripped off thirty years ago when it was the farmers arms. Now it's a more like a truckstop.😞👎

Great coffee place good quality and friendly

Our last visit wasn't as good as previous. It was very cold 🥶 not much atmosphere and I think surroundings could do with a good clean. Tables felt sticky and water bottles and glasses on table didn't look inviting. Food was OK, we had breakfast. Sausages were rubbery and seemed as though they had been cooked a while ago. Bacon wasn't good quality. Coffee was amazing as always. Come on Seven Districts you can do better!

So this is an updated review. The place seems to have worsened since my last visit. I ordered a Chai Latte which was gritty and full of powder, basically too much powder and not enough liquid. There were a large number of flies crawling over cups and in the windows. The doorway seemed to be falling to bits with the handle to one side. The cake was nice but this is obviously not made on the premises. I won't be going again.

Great breakfast and cofee☕️. Quick service.

Have regularly been buying Blind Byard coffee from Seven districts, they have substituted the bean for another variety and now it taste completely differerent. I've emailed them several times but they never reply. Really poor service, they get your money and donlt care afterwards. Won't be using them again.

Absolutely lovely coffee this morning, cakes look and taste incredible and the staff are really friendly. Decor is very stylish too. 100% will visit again.

This is one of the most disappointing places I've had coffee in the UK to be honest. I'll start with the positives first. Cafe is in a really interesting location, an old pub I assume. It's been renovated to a nice design inside, and the coffee is roasted on site (with a really nice viewing window into the roasting room). Have bought one of their roasts before and made nice filter coffee with it, the roasting is done well. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. This is a cafe set up by someone who knows what they're doing (i.e roasting and cafe design), but has then decided to completely disregard the customers experience after that point. Somehow that feels worse than a business owner who doesn't know what they're doing but works hard to please the customer. It's a little insulting. I've been twice now. Both times tables are dirty, and the air is full of dust (no other customers in at both times, so no excuse really). Both times, there has been no filter or pourover coffee option available (despite filter being on the menu). Imagine roasting around 6-7 different blends and origins, PLUS selling manual brewing gear, but not making that for your customers to try in store. What a missed opportunity! Furthermore, having a single bean type on for espresso, and the staff not even knowing which one it was? Come on guys. Having a bad day is okay, but if you can't be bothered anymore, perhaps it's time to give it up.

Good location with windows plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Toilets need some tlc. Loo seat falling off! No pricing for cake treats. Real disappointment are the coffee volumes. My cappuccino ( one size only) was more like a flat white size at other independents. Quality is key I accept, but it’s not good value for money. Shame. Love to support smaller businesses, but Costa value better and there’s the loyalty card.

Cycling here, en route farther afield thought I'd stop for break & drink. Having one staff member serving at the counter, service was slow but pleasant. Not a great first impression, as "long black" is more of an espresso with dark interior decor.

The best place for coffee and cake (other awesome food and drinks are available, too).

My second time hear wasn't as good as the first, we was the first to order and 40 min later which wasn't a problem but the food wasn't very hot and my eggs wasn't cooked. But I will still go back as it was so good the first time. I didn't complain as I still eat it all.

Great place been here a couple of times, good was delish, we came this time to sit in the beautiful coffee garden and drink wine with lovely cakes and amazing views, with wildlife playing all around. Also enjoyed a delish smoothie. Could have stayed a lot longer with the sunshine! Been back since and had the breakfast and turmeric latte it was delicious

Ordered food, other tables were served but no sign of our meals. Asked at the counter and was told it had never gone through to the kitchen. Full refund given with an apology. Didn't have time to wait for meal to be cooked after waiting so long.

A handy place to stop for a roadside coffee and our lattes were excellent. Has a coffee garden too for a drink in the sun.

Flat white tasted good but no latte art which makes me wonder if it is made by a trained barista.

We pass this place every week on the way to Grimsby and joke that every week we say oh I really wanna go there. Well today we finally did go there and wow it did not disappoint and we wish we had gone sooner! The drinks are amazing and the food and service is incredible, I can’t fault it even when it was quite busy there was still plenty of space to park and it has such brilliant views from the coffee garden. Will definitely be visiting again!

Visited for breakfast this morning, ordered and waited 45 minutes before we had to ask where the food was, it arrived another 10 minutes after this. No apology for the wait and the plates were slapped in front of us. Disappointing food considering the price we paid. The fair well felt sarcastic ngl.

Went in for a quick pit stop, we were told to wait to be seated (fine) told to sit down and the waitress said she would be back in a sec. No menus after 15 mins, we never saw the waitress again. We couldn't even order at the till as all waiting staff had disappeared and the lady behind the counter was in the middle of making drinks. It wasn't even that busy in the main area, half the tables were empty. Very disappointing as we had lovely coffee there previously. I don't know if there was an event out the back and they were all stressed and maybe having a bad day, but it was borderline rude. We waited 15 minutes and again couldn't get service at the counter so we just left.

I really liked the food and drink. Maybe a bit pricey but lots of quality. Inside has character and a charm - a bit dark. It's not a light and maybe not great for kids. Definitely an adult place for a quick bite to eat and lovely coffee.

One of Lincolnshires best coffee house's, dog friendly and Love the place. It's a great coffee shop. Their food is high quality and tastes great added on to friendly helpful staff. Inside is a lovely calm atmosphere even when busy it still feels great. My only issue I have is the position of the till for take away service is situated directly near the toilet corridor so as your stood waiting for your drink you have to give way to people trying to access this area. But it doesn't ruin the experience and is worth the hassle for their great coffees. I love their chai latte.

Love this place, go whenever we go the our caravan at Barlings Country park. Dog friendly, very busy at weekends. Friendly Staff!

My friend was very impressed with this little coffee place when I took him there on our morning blast out on the bikes. Lovy coffee and knowledgeable staff in a nice setting.

This is a great coffee house. However, I was really disappointed today. We walked in and waited to be seated as the sign said, nobody came over or even gestured to just come in. So we decided to go in after a couple of minutes. Every table had dirty cups and plates on it, so choosing somewhere to sit wasn't very pleasant. To top it off my drink was cold. Here's hoping we just hit them on a bad day and it's not always like this.

I have been wanting to visit this place for a while. I shouldn't have waited so long. Friendly staff. Great food and lovely coffee. I will be back very soon.

I was looking forward to trying this cafe for the first time. What a let down. We chose a table that looked like it was being cleared. Some items and empty sugar sachets left on the table. My friend ordered our food and coffee. The coffee came quickly and was hot but it was not very nice. We asked for extra hot water, which helped. The sweetener sachets were so stale the sweetener wouldn’t come out, there were no sugar sachets on our table. When the food arrived it was well presented, but my knife was dirty. All through our meal staff were busy. Doors slammed and empty buckets were carried through the dining area. The staff were polite and helpful and my pancakes were delicious, but I wouldn’t order coffee there again. Access and parking were good and the food looked tempting.

Love this local coffee and visit both this and The Hub in Nettleham The latter has a more restricted menu If you like your coffee really hot like I do just ask

Drove 45 minutes to 7 Districts upon a great recommendation. Arrived at 10.15 this morning (Sunday) to find that a car meet was there, car park full and about 30-40 cars parked down the lane. No chance whatsoever of being served so we came home. A complete waste of fuel; we won't be returning.

The coffee and food here was absolutely delightful (we had all vegan food). Just a shame they'd already run out of waffles 😢

Looking forward to trying this place as pass frequently. Disappointed as received a very sour coffee. I was served another which still had a sour taste but not as bad as the first. At first I thought it was my palate but on further research I found the sour taste could be for a number of reasons. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Popped in after a property viewing nearby and were impressed. Busy place. Great service. Ideally located. Loads of parking. Hot drink and cake, any cake, is a must. The food looked amazing. Only one lad serving but did a stellar job. Will definitely return in the future.

God place to stop for a coffee. The quality of the coffee to my taste was very good ,however I thought it a bit pricey for a small cup.

I purchased some of Severn Districts Coffee Beans at the weekend, only to find that they are quite possible the worst coffee beans I've come across. When I first opened the bag, there was no smell off coffee at all, the bean colour was very uneven (with some beans looking like they've not even been roasted), and there was a lot of the beans still had the chaff on the outside (the dried skin, that should be removed during the roasting process). Once I placed the beans into my electric grinder, the grinder was unable to grind the beans as they were so hard (unlike nothing I've come across before). I then placed some into my manual grinder and even on a fairly coarse grind setting, I barely able to turn it. Something has gone very wrong with your roasting process / quality control as this is unacceptable. Paying circa £10 for a back of coffee which I have put straight into the bin. Save your money, or buy your coffee elsewhere!!

Had a wake after a funeral last week, the food was amazing as we had a grazing table, one that I had never seen before. This was constantly being replenished along with the drinks. The variety of food was brilliant and catered for different dietary requirements. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much, particularly to Abbi, Annabelle, and all the team involved.

Service so slow so gave up and got refund. Won't bother again.

Friendly staff and nice place, but where did they get the idea that a single shot of caramel-flavoured coffee is what you need to make a flat white?! Add in the London price for your cup of disappointment and this place really doesn't add up, sadly. Nowhere near the standard of the wonderful meals and atmosphere on offer when it used to be The Farmer's Arms pub. 咖啡不好喝 🙁
