Had a takeaway when visiting my son in Lincoln. Superb food, well cooked, and i also felt it had a great deal of meat in the dishes, too. The restaurant was packed and takeway service busy also. With food that good, hardly surprising really.

What a joke this meal was £50 on this meal and what, I got what tasted like microwave rice £3.15 you charge for this rice and I can make better myself. The blandest Bhuna I have ever tasted. Chips were soggy. I have eaten here before and never has it been like this before. You have gone proper down hill. I’d be happy with at least half my money back. You used to my in my eyes the best place to go for a curry. The only thing that tasted okay was the poppadoms and mango Chucky. It all tasted like yesterdays food Order Number: 10793889

Great food. Had a quick pint when waiting. Shame it was poured badly. Politely ask it to be topped up. The girl does with an attitude then slams onto the bar. Pish poor. Great way to lose future custom 👌 Edit from a 1 star to 3. Said waitress came and apologised . Still unsure whether on her own accord, or due to her colleagues seeing her actions. But still appreciated, but shouldn't have been necessary. On a positive, food great

Had takeaway from this place last night 8 of us and we have all been ill with food poisoning from 2 hours after eating it definitely not returning will be reporting to food hygiene

Food was top notch, 5 stars there. Good value as well. The female wait staff were abrupt and kept walking away from the tables before I'd finished speaking or ordering. 0% beer on menu states Cobra however we were served something else, which was not nice. We challenged this with the female wait staff and she was very rude and abrupt about it stating "well it's still alcohol free"...so is orange squash, but I didn't order that!! Otherwise, the male waiters were excellent and really attentive and friendly. If it weren't for them I think the females would have ruined the experience for us entirely. Parking was fine, but we went on a Wednesday - I imagine it could become difficult at weekends. Overall, would return but I hope the restaurant reads this and feeds back to the individual(s) who nearly ruined our experience with their attitudes.

We visited Mach for the first time after driving past for years thinking we should try there sometime. I'm glad we did. We turned up at 7pm on a week day evening without booking. We got a table straight away. There is a dress code of smart casual (no tracksuits, football shirts things like that). The service was very good as was the food. The restaurant was nicely laid out. Not squashed together like many places. Prices are on par with other Indian restaurants but the quality is top notch witch makes it better value than most. We will be visiting again soon.

Good points, starter was excellent - Lamb chops. Menu out dated regarded 0% beers. My chicken shashlik that was meant to be sizzling on a clay oven, wasn't sizzling and had probably been grilled and was deffo skewer cooked. Waiter left half my onions on the not sizzling clay oven. Very small portions of pickles with poppadoms. Parking bays very small and some balloon had parked so close to me that I had to reach into my passenger door to release the handbrake and pull my car out of the parking bay so I could get in it. Not the best night.

I wish I could give more stars. Living over an hour away and not making reservations…they opened up the side room and sat me and my husband. It was wonderful. The food was the best Indian Food I’ve ever had. Everyone was so nice and accommodating! We are making a trip back up there and we’re smart and made reservations !

Excellent chicken & a lamb Rogan and a lamb madras with keema and a plain nann delicious 😋 pilau rice and a mushroom rice drink each and coffee could not fault food or service. Mother's day meal and the place was full. I/we would highly recommend MaCh Indian Restaurant 10/10

Being there for several times and usually takes away home as well, my favourite place for Indian dishes in Lincoln. Nice atmosphere, reasonable pricing.

Have been here once before and enjoyed it so we decided to book to go for valentines day. There was a set menu, however vegan and vegetarian options on the set menu were very limited. I ordered the only vegan main which was a balti aloo palak dahl. I found it extremely bland and tasteless, there really were not a lot of lentils in it, so I feel it could hardly be called a dahl. My partner ordered a lamb saag and said there were only 3 pieces of meat in it. Generally very disappointed, especially as I had enjoyed the food the last time we came. As someone who is Indian I felt I could've cooked a better meal for us at home.

Excellent food as usual great service. Probably one of the best Indian restaurant's in Lincoln. Went again(10/02/24) food again superb every course brilliant. Highly recommend this restaurant. Service excellent.

Excellent everything, won't go anywhere else

My friend and I share a birthday date with 14 of our friends and had a delightful evening at this restaurant. The food, ambience and the staff wonderful I recommend it highly.

Take away - man who served was blunt and rude, felt like an inconvenience Food was ok but not worth returning for with the attitude we received.

I have been many times and it never disappoints, great family run business with amazing food, cater really well for children and such a lovely atmosphere.

Really lovely food, piping hot, and not a long wait. The only things I would say is parking can be difficult when it's busy, and it's very noisy in the eating area. But it's well worth a visit, it's a great place ☺️

Sat next to window very cold window seats in cold weather not good at all

OK so I went on a works party as a first visit, so glad we booked here. Fantastic food and service, we where all made very welcome with prompt food delivery with no complaints from me. Sorry some of us where a bit loud guys - I will be taking my family here soon (it's that good). I had the Rogan, rice and keema nan washed down by a recommended beer👌😁👍. Pricing was on point too!

Wanted to go here for ages so tonight me and wife finally did. Food and service was excellent, atmosphere excellent, drinks and cocktails excellent. 100% recommend the cardamon martini, so refreshing and just delicious. The naans are unbelievably freah and soft and the saag paneer was delicious so was the adraki lamb. Best Indian restaurant I have been to

Superb restaurant. Really friendly waiting staff, very helpful for discussing menu items. Excellent food which was delivered quickly but not rushed. Both food and drinks are priced very reasonably. Cant wait to go again.

Great roadside location for this semi upscale Indian. The menu is unusually brief, but covers all needs. service was good but not fast on a busy Friday night. The food was generally of a good standard, especially for Lincoln, where decent curries are like hens teeth.

I booked a table for 6 for my Son's Birthday, this is the first time we have been, the waitress was lovely and efficient, the food was absolutely lovely, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing, we will definitely be going back.

Having not been here for years, we were certainly not disappointed. Everything was as good as previously, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

First time visiting this restaurant and what a gem, great food, service fantastic and all for a reasonable cost.

My go-to curry restaurant in Lincoln. Authentic Pakistani and Indian curries, a good variety of your classics. Owners are lovely. Staff are friendly. We've gone a lot as small and large groups, and they've catered to us without a change in quality and service. Highly recommended.

Wonderful curry - however the puddings really do let the food down a bit unfortunately. Lovely atmosphere and great tasting curries.

Having been here three years ago and needing somewhere to celebrate, we chose MaCh. I am picky and was accommodated when I couldn't see my normal "go to" and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubster is back in Lincoln for work next week and already talking about coming back.

Hadn't ate all day as driving - 8pm, bought curry, rice, pappadam takeaway @ £22. Awoke at 2am (6 hours after eating) with severe sickness, I suffered vomiting etc for 18hrs, required ambulance.

Service was a bit slow, but food was delicious.

We visit Lincoln Yurts every year at the same time, over the last 5 years we have found this place to be the best Indian around, we look forward to the food & even order extra to take home with us, highly recommended but you have to collect if staying at the Yurts, we will one year go & eat in Only gave 4 stars as we've never eaten in but looks lovely from what we've seen Get the MaCh Restaurant App to look at there menu, they will also cook your own dish if requested on the phone when ordering Thanks MaCh See you next year

Food was so beautiful woow one of the best Indians I have had. But the service could have been better took a while for things to come out but apart from that it is a very beautiful place and friendly staff as well. I got the Baltic lazeez and that dish is a must try the flavours my gosh i could have one now. For starts for the mix platter that’s as really nice the sheep kebabs wasn’t the best but it was ok. But the chicken tikka is a must try.

Excellent food and great atmosphere.

This is a great place to go for a birthday meal, food was great, however the two young small blonde girls serving were terrible, rolling their eyes, not responding to additional drink requests. We left without tipping or acknowledging them. Shame really.

Usually have a takeaway. Only dined in once and it was fine though a little chilly. Building has the appearance of a former 'Little Chef' so lacks a little character. Great food and friendly staff.

No exceptional taste. Chicken was si hard to cut. Smallest serving per person I've seen.

We had a lovely meal at Mach. All of the dishes we tried were delicious and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

The food was very tasty and well presented as always. A hot cloth would have improved the experience having eaten naan bread and poppadoms,leaving grubby ,sticky fingers .Why are they no longer offered?

First time visit after a recommendation and not disappointed. Had a mix of vegetarian/vegan starters and sides and the only bad point is we had to leave some - stuffed - and no room to sample desert!

First time at MaCh tonight. In terms of traditional Indian cuisine, MaCh is basic. The food is nice, but it's nothing special and doesn't stand out from any other Indian restaurant. There doesn't seem any imagination or personal touch to the dishes. The staff weren't massively warm or smiley. All of which were very young and didn't seem too focused on customer service. I won't be returning, but if you like a basic Indian meal, give it a try.

Really good and really tasty food. Went at 8:30 on a Friday and it was packed. Friendly staff and workers. All meat is halal certified, needs to be advertised as they’re missing out on all the Muslim costumers they can get in.

A spontaneous visit to the MaCh! It certainly did not disappoint. We booked a table for 2 over the phone and managed to get a table 30 mins earlier than online. The restaurant is a detached building with a separate carpark which is super convenient. Inside is beautifully decorated as I hope the pics will attest. For people collecting food, there's a nice area by the bar. The food was magnificent; from the poppadoms, mixed platter and the mains - my lamb Bhuna was one of the best I've had for a long time. One thing we both commented on in the dining area was the lighting - we found it to be a bit on the bright side. Otherwise, it was a fantastic meal and a place I would happily visit again for more delicious food.

What an amazing place to eat. The food is top-notch. Good location just outside of Lincoln with plenty of parking. Friendly and passionate staff that care. This is my second visit and it won't be my last.

Recently moved back to Lincoln & this restaurant was one of the reasons - delicious & prompt service. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Went for dinner with a friend, 7:45 reservation. Simply great food, the menu is not massive but plenty to choose from. Good service and so tasty! Not been here in about 10 years and back then it was OK. This was excellent and we will definitely be back. Thank you! Only thing that would make it better would be some type of spice ratings on the Classics menu. Words like "hint of spice", "spicy", "medium" are shown on some but being able to consistently compare all the mains dishes for heat would be really helpful. I had a Madras ("hot") and it was spicy but not overwhelming so I was happy!
