There appears to be a total lack of respect for potential customers, I do not understand why they open the shop for coffee in the morning, the staff cannot cope & ignore clients! Why on earth do they not acknowledge clients waiting? Is this the new norm to not even say Good Morning?

If I could rate a zero for management service, I would. Dear Manager, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit to the Serpentine Bar and Kitchen. After ordering fried eggs well done, I was served runny eggs. When I attempted to address this issue with your manager, I was met with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude. Instead of engaging with the staff to clarify the situation, she solely checked the order docket and insisted that my request was not recorded. I clearly communicated that I had asked both the chef and the cashiers for my eggs to be well done, but my concerns were not taken seriously. Moreover, when I requested a refund due to her attitude, she abruptly turned away to process my request while attending to other duties, making me feel undervalued as a customer. Her response to my complaint about her customer service was inadequate; she merely stated that she had given me my money back, showing a lack of understanding of proper customer service protocols. When I asked for a formal email address to lodge my complaint, she provided it and walked away, demonstrating a clear disregard for my concerns. Lastly, I was approached by the cashier who took my order, visibly upset and explaining that she felt blamed for the incorrect order. She clarified that it was the chef who had not followed my request. This situation highlights a lack of effective communication and accountability within your team. Write a complaint letter about a manager at Serpentine bar and kitchen in Hyde Park. Firstly, she, and the manager asked me to go sit down. Chased me down as I tried to report issues with fried eggs I had ordered to the chef. She approached me, and asked if she could help me. As I did not know who she was nor understood why she wanted to be held, I asked her who she was, and she said that she was the manager of the restaurant, and that customers where not allowed to approach the chefs who were serving the food. I explained to her that I ordered well done eggs, and that these were runny. She said give it to the chef. The chef who I had spoken to and who took my requirements asked why I was returning it, I explained that I had asked for well done but she cooked runny. She took the whole breakfast I ordered well done, and the manager asked me to go back to my seat. Now, my food had been ordered at the same time as my husband’s. After waiting for about 20 mins, and seeing my husband had finished his food, and mine had not been served, I spoke to the manager, who had obviously forgotten that she asked me to leave my breakfast with the chef to recook. I had to remind her of the whole reason my food was with the chef. I explain my allergy, which I had explained to the cashier and chef. I explained that my husband had finished his food, and mine was not ready. The manager did not speak to staff, but immediately checked the docket of my order, and proceeded to say “you did not ask for well-done eggs in your order! I told her I did, to both the chef and the cashier. I explained my allergy to eggshells which I asked to be washed before breaking, and that runny eggs made me feel nauseous. This manager insisted that the request was not on the docket. She was abrupt, short, and dismissive turning her back to me when speaking, and not giving me eye contact when handing a post it note with details to make my complaint. Because of her behaviour, I asked for refund due to her attitude, and before I could finish, she turned, walked away to get my money, and whilst giving me the money, she was busy attending to other duties like I didn't matter. I told her, her behaviour was not one of a manager, and she said, “I am trying to help you. You asked for your money back, and I gave it back, what else do you want me to do?” I told her that her customer service was not good enough, and that I wanted to make a complaint. She said she was the manager and had responded to my complaint. I asked for an email to complain formally, and she gave it, and immediately walked away. I called her back and said that I was a customer service manager, and I would never have handled a customer the way she did. She said that she'll deal with her staff later, which I think was her way of helping me. About 10mins later the cashier who took my orders came to me, visibly upset and saying that she was being blamed for taking incorrect orders and wanted to clarify that it was the chef who took the wrong order, as she and I had spoken to the chef about my orders. I agreed with her because after trying twice to explain how I wanted the eggs-eggshell washed, and eggs cooked week done, she did not understand and took me to the chef. I explained to chef, and she said alright. I left it at that. If the manager had trained her staff correctly, this simple order would not have been wrong. I feel bad that this manager was bullying the young ethnic minority lady who English is not her first language and rather than investigating things properly, the Serpentine bar and kitchen’s manager acted oppressively and high handed.

Just overpriced, everything was expensive even the water ! We had to wait 15minutes for two cokes and the for the food it was not great, the pizza were good but overpriced but the burger was really bad and really but really expensive

Unfortunately this place left a lot to be desired in many ways. The staff were miserable and the food was terrible. What was meant to be a beautiful prosecco brunch by the lake, turned out to be an over priced let down. I would not recommend this place on any level…

I visited Serpentine Bar & Kitchen at Hyde Park today and ordered a coffee and a cake. The food was excellent, but what truly stood out was the service provided by Sagar. He made me feel like a personal guest with his kind and humble demeanor. Sagar’s exceptional service is something I have never experienced in any café or restaurant before. Highly recommended!

Had to leave a review as the way they price their menu is deliberately deceiving. You order your food and then they add tax (can't think of another cafe/restaurant in the UK that does this) and there is a delivery fee on top! For walking from the kitchen to your table!Very poor treatment of customers.

My friend and I were amused reading the reviews for this restaurant as we walked through Hyde Park on the way to lunch. The staff were rude and unfriendly, we were prepared!However, the three guys who served us were pleasant and almost charming, where did we go wrong, where were the said rude staff, was it their day off or had everyone had training since the bad reviews?We had nice freshly cooked pizzas and the wonderful birds that hang around on the rails alongside the lake benefited from the crusts. There was even a heron who looked too aloof to beg.

Situated right next to the lake in Hyde park it has beautiful views. Ordered from our phone at the table and was brought over. Staff could have been a bit friendlier though.

Staff Extremely Rude - AvoidStaff member was extremely rude and over charged me. Genuinely spoke to me like utter trash. Soup took absolutely ages to arrive had to chase it up. Tables were dirty and restaurant had a foul smell. Warning to others. Avoid at all costs.

Its okay - waiters there were really rude and talked to me like I was stupid. But the food and drinks were average and the view over the boating lake is nice. You only go there if your'e hungry while in the park to be honest, nothing worth travelling for and don't let these tiktok influencers fool you!

Don’t go for gluten free. Went as a family of 4, one of whom is coeliac. No GF options listed on the menu. Ordered Caesar salad with no croutons, explaining we needed it gluten free. That seemed a perplexing order for the staff but seemed to be the only thing that could be made gluten free. We were sent outside to wait for it. The person who brought it out was helpful and knowledgeable and asked about the dietary requirement. She asked if we knew that the sauce contained gluten. We obviously didn’t. She took it away to bring a fresh one. 20 mins after ordering we still had no salad. When it arrived it was a box of chicken, some Parmesan and some leaves. £11. Find somewhere else!

A lovely location spoiled by a poorly managed service and dreadful food. I ordered the fish and chips after 30 minutes chased it up as the place was not exactly busy. Arrived some minutes later. The fish was cremated within a casing of fat drenched so called batter. The chips were cold and greasy. Some cold undercooked peas bounced around on the plate dancing around a lake of tartar sauce. Returned the plate and crumbled the fish in batter to crumbs in front of the supervisor. Got an apology and refund. I am sure the venue will reply to this post with a standard platitude. Good place for a coffee or drink but avoid ordering anything that’s need to be cooked for you until they employ some sort of qualified chef.

Didn't eat anything...we just had juice but we were impressed with the setting. All the food we saw looked really good and the staff all seemed pleasant. Wish we had had more time.

We visited today for coffee's and scones. We ordered on the app. When our order turned up, it was more or less thrown on the table without a plate or knife. When we asked the waitress, she replied ‘huh?’ And seemed surprised. After 15 mins we asked another waiter. When we finally got to eat our scones they were very stale! We took them back and to be fair we’re offered a refund and this staff member was very helpful. We were told we would receive this in 1-2 weeks. And said they would tell the chef. Our waitress couldn’t have been more disinterested in her job and gave no customer service what so ever. Very disappointed.

I’ve been here lots of times with my son and parter after a day out. We usually LOVE it and have loved the service. Today after paddling in the fountains, my son and I decided to head here (instead of going to pizza express or wherever which was geographically easier) because they do a GREAT fish and chips. We’ve had it lots of evenings this summer.I ordered at the bar inside as I was alone with my toddler. I asked the girl for chips at first (going to order fish and chips and then some extra chips and share with my son). She says ‘sorry we’ve ran out of chips’ then turns to her line manager and says ‘we’ve ran out of chips right’ and her manager says to her ‘yes unless they order a burger’. The girl serving me says ‘so you can’t order chips unless it comes with something else we aren’t using it as a side today’ (I have no issue with this girl she’s doing what she’s been told, fair enough). I go to the back of the line as need more thinking time. Come to the front and the line manager serves me. I ask for fish and chips. She says ‘sorry we have no fish and chips chips, that’s at lunchtime only, in the evening it’s burgers or pizzas’. (Weird- doesn’t say on the menu. It was literally listed under ‘main menu’ and I literally came here and had fish and chips last week). So I say ‘ok a margarita pizza and chips please’ and she said ‘we have no chips’ and I say ‘unless it’s with a burger?’ (She didn’t know I’d over heard her say this to my previous server). She said ‘yep we don’t have chips for a side order only for burgers, it’s what the chefs say’ I explain this is ridiculous? And means I will it be ordering anything so her refusing to sell chips to me is literally loosing her custom? It doesn’t make business sense. I repeat that it’s ridiculous and she says ‘I know but I don’t have them to sell to you.’I don’t know why my custom is of less value or importance to you guys just because I’m ordering a pizza and chips rather than a burger? Very weird.In fact you will be getting more money from me than you would I had just ordered a burger? We’re the burgers going off? Why are you only allowed to eat chips of you are eating a burger. I run a busy beer garden site, I get that today may have been crazy and definitely relate and feel for you but maybe re-think the food rules you are creating? It literally didn’t make business or customer service sense?I don’t know if the chefs or the manager were being difficult- either way it was a very strange experience.Very weird. Ended up going to a pub near the station and had a great customer experience which made up for the one I lacked at yours this evening.

Amazing location, right on the pond at Hyde Park. They have some beautiful views with all the swans and birds, lovely green around. You can sit over for a tea / other drinks and some food as well. Recommended!

By the time we got to the front of the queue they refused to serve us breakfast (despite it being before the 11.30 cut off they say on their menu) and refused to serve us lunch (because it was before 11.30). Go figure. So we ordered just a coffee but this was so over-steamed it was almost boiling. Nice view, but that's about it.

Truly awful mojito that had the acidity of battery acid and a dried leaf of mint floating on the top. No luscious minty sweetness (like the one I was served at Ronnie Scotts last week) just a huge disappointment in a plastic beaker (we were sitting inside). Save your money people! The 1 star is for the view which was terrific.

Me and my partner wanted to have breakfast here as the seating looks over the lake in Hyde park. It has a lovely view and nice shaded seating areas. However once we had ordered the drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive and then after that the breakfast took over 1 hour to arrive. The servers are nice, but I wouldn’t go here again. It’s overpriced for the wait time and simple food. Definitely needs more staff or needs to be better organised. Don’t go here if you want a quick meal!!!

The management should seriously asking themselves why they do bother to keep this place open. There’s absolutely no customer care, the service is rubbish (it’s of course not the service staff fault, the fish stink from its head), no one is cleaning the tables. 40 minutes to have a coffee, 35 minutes for a bacon sandwich (despite the app tells you that your coffee will be delivered in 5 minutes). This is not like any other restaurant as you pay ahead; to have a refund and leave is worst than wait 1 hours for your food. Totally disorganised. Get your act together and do something with it, just don’t rely to the fact that it’s in Hyde Park next to the serpentine.

Breakfast today...Can only order by scanning the QR code, so you pay in advance so not so easy to up and leave.Ordered coffee which was supposed to come in 5 minutes, it came in 40 minutes.Ordered a bacon sandwich seperately and that come after the coffee. OK food and coffee, but the service is shocking. Not at all inviting - unclear how to order food when you go in - no explaining of the process. Poorly managed, so the waiting staff are getting the complaints when they bring food so late, but it's clearly the processes in place which are wrong - not their fault. Staff clearly lack training and engagement.Place obviously goes ahead on tourism and the location - but in covid times they should also take care of regulars.

Really lovely visit to the Serpentine Bar and Restaurant. We were sat in the shade on a really hot sunny day and it was just such a nice place to chill and enjoy a cold drink and a pizza. It felt a really safe environment to relax in given the current COVID situation. I really liked the fact how clean and tidy the outside areas are. The only thing I would say is that the ladies toilet needs looking as as the toilet seats were hanging off the toilets.

We were staying at the Hilton Park Lane but decided to have breakfast at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen. the setting was very lovely but the breakfast was awful. My wife's poached egg was overcooked and hard as were my fried eggs. Also none of the outdoor tables were being cleared/cleaned by staff so customers were having to clear the tables themselves.

The view and busting atmosphere compensate for the average food and central London prices. The staff were efficient and the covid measures enforced in a reasonable manner. We were not hurried in anyway despite it being busy. Well worth a visit for the view and location alone.

We came over to enjoin the lovely water view and sun and finally we was lucky to find table outside. The whole venue was incredibly full. We was planning to stay for cold G&T only, but seriously, when we saw waitresses bringing food to other tables...waw. We literally ordered food just because everything was looking sooo delicious. Perfect presentation on each plate. Could see from far away distance how every single plate is fresh. Our food was just about same. We order one pizza to share and it was absolutely amazing. This place is just perfect to visit when its nice and warm weather outside. Even service was all right for that amount of tables and people, everything was pretty fast.

This is a place I used to frequent regularly. It is overpriced and the food is bland. They try a number of new age things to mask that but it does not work. And until now I had no complaint about that. I mean it's the Middle of London, what do you expect.A couple of times since the lockdown they have been a little shirty with me for not wearing a mask. And a few times before lockdown they were a little snooty, but again, I didn't pay it any mind, and was ambivalent about using the facilty.Then they tried to bar my sister from using the washrooms because, in their estimation, she was not a customer. I explained that we were customers by virtue of being on the premises and being in the queue to purchase on a busy day. There is no displayed requirment to display a receipt in order to use the washroom. And in any case, the attempt to physically enforce the sanction was not welcome. I am sorry nobody treats my sister like that. or any woman. Or any visibly melanated person. Our statutory rights are not affected by Coronavirus legislation, and in any case presenting corporate policy as thought it were Law is a recipie for disaster. Its a matter for the Courts, not your effette shopfloor staff.So I attempt to explain to the receptionist that i) we are customers ii) we are a party of three and ii) only one of us wants to use the toilet. She refuses to listen to me and walks away. Meanwhile another person tried to tell me to listen to the person who is not listening to me. that does not go well. I call for the manager, and explain to her what just happened and I try and ascertain the reason that the shopfloor staff have decided that we could not possibly be customers, and why she has chosen to approach us and nobody else. And that, being that she's done that, why as a manager she has put her shopfloor staff in a position where they are citing regulations that they cannot enforce.But I am still seething so I write a letter of complaint to Benugo ( their complaints form on their website does not work) outlining the belowo whom it may concernOn Sunday 25th April at approximately 11:45 am my sister was refused entry to the Serpentine on the basis that "toilets were for customers only" she was advised that there were toilets two minutes walk awayI arranged for her to use the toilets at the Serpentine in any case.Whoever was on reception at the time failed to consider that we were ALREADY "customers" by virtue of the fact that I patronise the Serpentine every week [ if you find that my patronage is rescinded after each purchase, you need to make this clear ]We { my neice joined us later} did indeed purchase drinks - as we had intended to - and thus became customers on the day in any caseI understand that you have a policy of reserving toilet use for customers only. I want you to have a clearer policy of training staff to ascertain who is a customer and who is not a customer. For example as per Sunday 25th April 11:45, I was making purchases while my sister was using the toilet. Your shop floor staff seemed to have a problem with this arrangement and failed to explain what the problem wasFurther I did speak to whoever was on reception at the time and they refused to engage or accept responsibility for the decision, as I spoke to the manager and made it clear that, while I fully expect to be treated as a third class citizen in public spaces, I will never accept that level of treatment for my sister or my neice. I made it clear that, if I ever saw anyone that looked like me being treated that way again I was going to make a problem for them personallyI understand and accept that you staff may have a "right" to work in an environment which is free from rude and abusive customers, and I sense that, on this occasion, I respected that. However, as a customer I have a "right" to competent, civil, non discriminatory staff who have customer service skills and training.I will revisit the Serpentine on the following sunday wherepon I expect to receive written apology to my sister, which I will then forward on to my sister. And I am personally ambivalent about it. However I will not tolerate another generation of visibly melanated people being treated this way in any circumstance or for any reason. Hyde park is surrounded by memorials to people who gave their lives for the commercial freedoms you now enjoy.Have your frontline staff respect and remember that, and not espouse commerical policy as though it were law.In any case, the assumption that we were not customers, or willing to be customers, thereby earning the singular merit of being eligible for use of the toilets, was prejudicial.####they reply with the standard "thank you for highlighting concerns" response, but they do not address ANY of the points about what actually happened. SO I ring the management and of course the person that can actually effect change is not available so I get to speak to the second in command, and he recites company policy like it's scripture. I ask when the ACTUAL manager is available to speak. He tells me Tuesday at x o'clock. I ring on Tuesday at x'o clock and the phone just keeps ringing. I've not yet received an apology , or an indication of an apology, and so I am posting this "review" and will go in on Sunday ( cet. par ) and see if there's a written apology for me to hand to m sister. If not, I will escalate. Oh The mango iced tea was a bit dry and sugary.

The most disapointed Pims I've ever had, basically just a small cup of yellow sparkling water with some traces of cucumbers, lemon and mint. Bloody expensive sparkling water!

Visited this place 20/04/2021 with my friend we loved the coffee, the burger and all that we ate. This restaurant and Bar is in front of a small serpentine lake with a very nice seating place outside.Wheel chair accessible. Remember to carry a light jacket or cardigan as all seats are outside. Staff at the main entrance were very friendly and happy!I highly recommend it if you are around Hyde park. 10 minutes walk from Marble Arch train station.Watch out for cyclists and scooters. Avoid going on the 20th of April there is a gathering there on this date for many young people smoking all sorts of things.Thank you very much Serpentine for opening especially in times like this, we will definitely come back.

I visited this place because it was raining in Hyde Park. So, I ordered a cup of Double Espresso. It was good, and the service was relatively quick despite being crowded.

La comida (pescado y patatas fritas) tardó 45 minutos en llegar y la selección fue terrible ya que una gran proporción de opciones (aproximadamente la mitad) se agotaron. Μετά από βόλτα στην περιοχή και με την βροχή να γίνεται ολοένα και πιο επιθετική, συναντήσαμε αυτό το όμορφο καφέ. Το προσωπικό εξυπηρετικό και χαμογελαστό. Η θέα της λίμνης πάρα πολύ ωραία παρά την βρόχή. Υπήρχε καθαριότητα στον χώρο και στις τουαλέτες. Όταν ο καιρός είναι καλός πιστευω ότι θα είναι όμορφότερη η θέα.

While having our stroll through Hyde Park we stopped by for a coffee, they were very busy as it was s Sunday morning, we all had coffee and the cappuccino was excellent one of the best in my opinion as we are cappuccino lovers. Would recommend.

Slow service. Soup very expensive for what was. Sourdough bread tasted shop bought and stale. Disappointed.

Stopped by for breakfast and wished we hadn't. Ordered a cooked breakfast but food was tepid and much of it overdone. I suspect it had been sitting around for a while. Nice views of Serpentine but food was disappointing for the price (especially as self service). I guess they don't have to worry about repeat business as high throughput, especially in summer.Might be worth going just for a coffee or tea to enjoy the view.

Il bar è in una posizione pittoresca sulla riva del lago Serpentine. Spazi ampi all'interno e una terrazza fuori. Ottime birre Lager ed Ale servite da Alfredo, gentile e davvero bravo a consigliare.

En ballade à Hyde Park et pris d'une petite faim à 15h nous sommes rentrés au serpentine. Nous n'avons pris que des sandwichs que nous pensions manger dehors mais nous avons pu manger à l'intérieur avec les personnes prenant le the ou déjeunant des plats chauds. Les sandwichs étaient très bons. Pour un tarif légèrement plus cher que les sandwichs sodebo ou équivalents, nous avons mieux mangé qu'en mangeant ce type de sandwich en France. Le lieu est très sympa avec vue sur le lac. Vous pouvez aussi goûter, les gâteaux ont l'air appétissants.

In fairness we can not review this place properly as we only stopped for a brew, but it was excellent for that. The cafe was very busy despite it being a cold February day. We were served efficiently & quickly. We were not rushed. Schön gelegenes Schnellrestaurant mitten im Hyde Park am Teich gelegen. Die Karte hat eine gute Auswahl an vegetarischem Essen - auch für Kinder. Das ist lobenswert!Man sucht sich einen Tisch, bestellt am Tresen, gibt sie Tischnummer an und das Essen wird gebracht, wenn es fertig ist.Ich habe nur einen Kaffee getrunken, man sitzt hier wirklich schön, aber das Café ist wirklich SEHR laut. Im Sommer kann man auch draussen sitzen, da ist es sicherlich angenehmer. Die Preise sind fair, das ist noch ein Pluspunkt.

Die Aussicht ist gut direkt am See. Preise ist ok und Bedienung kann sich sehen lassen, aber leider nichts herausragend.

So I did a shift here on a roasting hot summers day back in July 2019! And I've been chasing them up on my pay ever since AND HAVE NOT EVEN TO THIS DAY BEEN PAID! Valentina, the manager, was rude and obnoxious the day I was working there and was muttering rude comments the whole time under her breath and just being rude to the serving team in general. Kevin the other manager has repeatedly lied to me over the past few months telling me he is sorting out my pay for that day- I know this is not true because I have spoken to the agency I work through and they have no recollection of him evening trying to process my pay. Every time I call them they simply hang up on me and refuse to deal with the situation! So there you have it. They take advantage of the staff. Not very well managed at all! Benugo's should really find professionals to manage their restaurants instead of these two clowns.

It is located beautifully, along the Serpentine. A large space with an inside and outside seating. It is self-service. They close early (between 5 pm and 7 pm, depending on the day), so check before you go there. A five minute walk from the Knightsbridge Tube station.

I cleared Heathrow airport customs, took an express train (expensive but the underground would have been busy in the return afternoon traffic) and walked around Hyde Park. Food was a bit plane and very busy but the Serpentine bar and kitchen had a wonderful soup and although busy was a pleasant stop...also it was good to use their bathroom facilities before getting back to Heathrow and continuing my flight

Personale cortese simpatico e professionale. Qualità del cibo ottima. Dice Cristina c'è pure l'acqua calda nei bagni e si affaccia sul lago. Lo consiglio.

The fish finger were not fish fingers, the GF pizza was not great, the pasta was disappointing. Only good coffee. Plus staff didnt even know what vegan meant.

The service is poor, the staff are rude and unprofessional. The food served is the bare minimum for what you expect for the prices you’re paying. It’s unfortunate that this place has the monopoly on food and drink in this corner of Hyde Park. I can’t help but think that if there was an alternative place to sit in and eat then this cafe wouldn’t be half as busy as it is.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, bellissima vista su Hyde Park e sul lago. Accolti molto bene dal cameriere Alfredo, molto gentile ed efficiente.

Stopped here for lunch and ordered the fish and chips. I was on my own and the server kindly placed a Reserved sign on the table whilst I went the counter to order. The system is the same as Nando's, order at the bar receive your drinks and food id delivered to the table. The meal came in reasonable time and looked good, the beer batter was great but the fish was inedible, slimy and possibly undercooked. I couldn't tell whether it was poor quality, not fresh or just badly cooked. I ate some chips which which were skin on fries, crispy and well cooked and pushed the plate aside. I waited for 15 minutes for someone to come and clear but it didn't happen which is surprising as there are plenty of staff. I failed to call someone over which is wrong I know.

Thought we would pop in yesterday as have always walked past but never been in. Looked popular and was on the busy side. Decided to order 4 drinks to enjoy outside in the crisp air. For a large place the coffee/drinks area was poorly organised. As they were taking orders they were marking the cup which the makers would then make. No order to it. Lots of people hanging around asking if that was their drink. Utter carnage! One lady had waited over 15 mins for her drink! In the end she had to ask for one. They were not making an order at a time like they would in costa etc. The process was grab a cup, make a drink and call out what the drink is - forgetting that their may be 7 people there waiting for the same drink. Who knows which one it was for? Instead of stopping and getting rid of the backlog and starting fresh the issue was compounded as they continued to take more and more orders, with more people waiting in line and grabbing "their" drinks as they were coming out. The coffee was ok (thus the two stars) but I wont be rushing back to experience that again.

My niece suggested this place for lunch as we were already in Regents Park. You can either eat inside or out by the Serpentine line which is a great to enjoy the lake. Unfortunately, that is the only reason for recommending this place.

Often we wander through Hyde Park when in London and we often look to taking the weight off our feet and sit for a while with a relaxing coffee in lovely surroundings and with beautiful views which makes for an experience rather than just a pit stop. Very busy but staff in all sections coped well with the constant stream of customers, worthwhile for many reasons.

Sin duda uno de mis lugares favoritos. El precio es similar al de Starbucks o Costa. Ofrecen una gran variedad se dulces con los que poder acompañar tu café o té. Encontrar un hueco puede ser un poco complicado, pero sin duda merece la pena, las vistas al lago de Hyde Park son maravillosas. Ambiente tranquilo y relajado, buen lugar para ir con familia o amigos a merendar.

After a nice walk through Hyde park and time spent in the playground with the kids we went to the Serpentine for lunch.

Bella la location, direttamente sul lago nel parco. Tavoli interni ed esterni, ideale per una sosta per il pranzo. Staff italiano molto gentile, buon rapporto qualita’ prezzo..

This is a really nice place in Hyde Park. We ate a good fish and chips. The atmosphere is really friendly. The value for money is good. I really suggest it!

Nuestro grupo de caminata a menudo se detiene en este restaurante para almorzar. Este mes, almorzamos en otro lugar pero nos detuvimos para tomar bebidas calientes. Nos sentamos a la luz del sol. Tomé chocolate caliente, que estaba muy bueno pero rápidamente se enfrió. No es culpa del restaurante si decidimos sentarnos al aire libre. Era un frío día de otoño, pero estaba ocupado, como siempre.

Assieme alle mie amiche ci siamo rifugiate in questo bar in un giorno di pioggia e vento. Infreddolite e bagnate ci siamo davvero rilassate! Trovato il tavolo abbiamo mangiato una pizza molto saporita e per dirlo una napoletana come me, davvero è tanta roba. Anche il panino con l'hamburger era molto buono. Ma la cosa che più di tutte ci ha sorpreso è stato il servizio! Il personale è stato fantastico specie Alfredo che davvero ci ha aiutate e fatte sentire a casa. Abbiamo conosciuto tra il personale molti italiani che ci hanno consigliato benissimo. Davvero consigliato. Ci torneremo sicuramente! Ciao Alfredo, un bacio da Napoli.

Nel verde cuore pulsante di Hyde Park, su lake Serpentine si affaccia questa bellissima terrazza bar. Il sole di Settembre e la straordinaria cordialità di Alfredo hanno regalato una eccellente accoglienza al nostro festoso gruppo in vacanza.

What a lovely setting just alongside the Serpentine. Pity about the indifferent service. On a positive note, the food was very tasty and served hot.

Eravamo nel bel mezzo di Hyde Park proprio verso l’ora di pranzo quando ci imbattiamo in questo posto molto carino!!! Entriamo, ci accomodiamo in un bel tavolo, menù alla mano, scrutiamo bene le proposte e vado ad ordinare alla cassa(si ordina lì, si dice il numero del tavolo e i camerieri portano poi il piatto da voi). Attendiamo non più di 10 minuti ed arriva da mangiare!!! Io ho preso un “flat greek bread”, una pita greca ricoperta di hummus, feta, tzatziki e verdure varie e mio marito ha preso un fish&chips; (ha detto che è più buono quello di Poppie’s). Piatto buonissimo, fresco, saziante e presentato in maniera impeccabile!!! Vista lago molto bella! Prezzi nella norma, sui 10£ a piatto circa! Consigliato!

I used to stop here multiple times on my trips to London. The atmosphere is great on a nice day and they had Old Mout Cider, which is fantastic and at the time was a bit harder to find in London than the other cider brands. This last trip I stopped in and was seriously disappointed. At the counter there were numerous lines for each of the registers to order. I was waiting at one and the girl ordering was taking forever and a big line was forming. A cashier opened another register and called "next", so I started walking over but the guy behind me quickly darted out and got there first. The cashier saw the entire thing and didn't say a word, it was very clear I was next and he just didn't care. I was really annoyed. Then when I got up to the counter I couldn't see over it into the coolers to see what cider they had (I'm super short), so I asked, and was met with a dead stare and then a very deadpan "Rekorderlig", no mention of flavors or anything. It was a stupidly hot day and I know they must have been tired but geez, maybe try to be a bit friendlier and just let me know the options nicely? Was super disappointed to see they no longer have Old Mout, especially seeing as other places in London seem to be adding this brand lately. I wasn't offered a glass or anything, which is fairly typical, and I couldn't be bothered to ask as at that point I was annoyed and just wanted to sit down. I went outside to grab a table and nearly all the tables with umbrellas were either taken or covered in dishes that hadn't been cleared. I grabbed one and just sat around the mess, and it took a good 20 minutes for someone to come clean it. In the past they've been very on top of clearing the tables quickly. It just wasn't a good experience. I went to grab a second drink at the smaller outside bar at the other end of the outdoor picnic table area and the service was much better and I was offered a glass with ice. This used to be a pleasant place to grab a drink and relax, but the experience this last time was just not great. Regardless of the type of cider they have, the service was lacking at the main counter and the tables were not being cleaned so they were gross and dirty, making for an unpleasant experience. I'll give this place another chance I'm sure, I used to love it so much I'm not ready to give up on it so quick, and I'm hoping this was just a one-off day.

Well we enjoyed it! We all thought the breakfast menu was good, with plenty of veggie options. Didn’t have to wait too long and prices were as expected in London. It was a lovely morning so we were able to sit outside by the water. It was a nice experience with good views, a chilled atmosphere and tasty food. Would eat here again.

Conosciamo questo posto da diversi anni e ora dopo aver rinnovato i tavoli all’interno,è ancora più carino.

We popped into this cafe on a hot August day for coffee being attracted by its claim to have won ‘awards.’ We’re not sure what awards these were but we found the coffee to be quite bitter. On a more positive note the coffee was reasonably priced and the cafe was located at the end of the Serpentine with lots of lovely seating which in itself was worth the money.

Went for an enjoyable meal with friends but was horribly disappointed with the service. Staff walking slowly around looking like they did not want to be there and seemed bothered when I received food I did not order. Food was ok I had better for the price of it. Will be eating elsewhere in future. Would not recommend

Firstly, the staff were very rude and got my wrong order which nearly gave me an allergic reaction I told the waiter and he did nothing about it and returned to the rest of the staff, they each turned around to us and laughed, Ive never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant before, one of my friends got their food and my food came 40 minutes later which is terrible service, the food was way too pricey for the standard, I wouldn’t recommend to a friend, considering it was located in such a beautiful location it dulled my experience

Standard bar and food place by a pond/lake in the park which is quite nice on a sunny day but full of tourists and locals alike. Busy and limited seating. Prices are high'ish Good photo op's

Siamo qui a londra e ci siamo subito immersi nel verde del park hyde dove si trova questo bar ristorante sul lago davvero ben curato e ci ha accolto Alfredo gentilissimo italiano che subito ci ha messo a nostro agio e ci ha aiutato nella lingua e nel fare l'ordine

Köpte en angus beef burger och en pulled pork sandwich som gott kunde varit lite varmare. Goda pommes och god öl fick upp betyget en aning.

Ottimo posto, si mangia benissimo, accoglienza ottima disponibilissimo lo staff soprattutto Alfredo bravissima persona. Bellissimo il tragitto per arrivare all’ottima location.

Visited for lunch. It was very hot so we sat outside , there is also ample seating inside. Tasty pizza and chips, drinks were expensive but this is central London!
