Sergi's Tapas Bar in South Holland

Dinner here last night with a friend. Probably the best tapas I’ve ever had. Some superb wines and sherry on the menu too: we had a bottle of Spanish Gewurtztraminer, which was a first for me. Friendly service :-) Great experience :-)

A surprise birthday meal, organised by my wonderful partner. First visit and will definitely be going back, even though it is a 40minute drive away from home. It is an intimate venue, with a very Spanish feel. We had a very warm welcome, and help with the menu - how much to order! The food was superb - with something for everyone. It is lovely to be able to share food. The food was really tasty, and very fresh. Can not recommend highly enough.

Just had a great evening at Sergi’s. Food & wine were amazing & staff were great. Was pleasantly surprised when the bill came. A hidden gem in Spalding. Will definitely be back.

What a little jem of a tapas bar, greeted by a friendly host, we started with a jug of Sangria and ordered the tapas. Excellent little plates, nice choice on the main menu plus specials, we ordered five dishes, they quickly arrived and were good sized portions, plenty for two. We didn’t really need desert but, we forced ourselves to have the churros and chocolate sauce. We will definitely return for more, great service, food and excellent value. It is worth noting that the restaurant also has an outdoor seating area and is also located next to a (pay) car park which is not only handy for Sergi’s but is handy for Spalding town centre.

Wow what a gem 💎 😍 I felt I was in a little tapas bar in spain food was top notch we dinner early so it was quite that suited use.owner was a real breath of fresh air. Will be back.

I want to know were they get their boquerones and albondigas. In London I would have paid triple. Absolutely recommend a visit

Fabulous service and food, gluten free well catered for. Staff understood allergy and were able to advise which elements of each meal contained gluten. Lovely sun spot outside, highly recommend.

Went in on a Friday lunchtime, had 5 different items and bread everything was delicious, we were stuffed but ate every last bit! Lager was well poured and all team members were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be in again!

After many intentions to try Sergi's we finally went last week. Staff and " Mine Host" were very welcoming and the atmosphere inside was very acceptable with oilcloth table covers. There was an outside eating option which we did not use. Before ordering we had drinks . The red wine was both good and reasonably priced, the 250ml bottle of lager, however, was extraordinarily expensive at £7!!! Even in today's environment that is an unacceptable price. That said the food was good, wholesome and well presented. The Air Dried Ham as Starters was perfect as were the Beef Ribs and other dishes. We ordered too much food but enjoyed it. On reflection the visit was good the food was better than average. The dining, however, was somewhat spoilt by the ridiculous price the lager which will probably remain as the lasting memory!! We shall probably go again but next time perhaps order fewer dishes and give the lager a wide birth !!!!!

Came in for dinner on Saturday evening after my Mum & my sister ate here the evening before, so their second visit and my first. Really lovely ambiance, great food and excellent, friendly service. Great choice of drinks, not a massive food menu but that’s often a good thing. Everything we ate was delicious. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Since finding this little gem we have been visiting every week and just love it! Karl and Debbie are so friendly and welcoming and the service is great. The food is amazing and the atmosphere feels very Mediterranean with the Spanish music and bright decor. Our first visit was in summer and we sat outside in the courtyard, can’t wait for the sun to shine so we can sit outside and feel like we are on holiday in España🇪🇸😁🥂Olé!

We have lunch at Sergi’s every Saturday and it’s always great food, great hospitality and great atmosphere. This Saturday I have to say the food was exceptional!

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, it feels like you’ve been transported to Spain.Karl looked after us greeting us with a warm welcome and then serving us an outstanding chicken and chorizo paella.The wine he recommended was fantastic.We will be definitely be returning this is a place I would feel confident bringing friends to for great freshly cooked Spanish tapas dishes.Thank you a great afternoon Terry & Anne

We visited last night at 9pm and had some delicious tapas. Everything we had we enjoyed- patatas bravas, ribs, paella, calamari- the list goes on! Service was excellent and staff really friendly. Music was very loud though and not very Spanish! Would definitely return!

Visited with partner for my birthday meal, we last visited about 6 months after it opened and thoroughly enjoyed it, threatened to go back but only just got round to it! Food was lovely, the sheeps cheese, walnuts and honey was a revelation considering both of us didnt like certain ingredients it ended up being the star of the show! Goes to prove you need to dine outside of your comfort zone now and again! Lovely to see it busy and great atmosphere! All staff were very friendly and helpful. We certainly wont be leaving it as long before we return this time! Keep up the good work!

First time visit for us to this great tapas bar, 4 of us went on a Saturday night. would have expected it to be packed but was surprised to see a few empty tables.. the food was really good with plenty to choose from. We had 10 different tapas dishes, bread and a few local beers to wash it all down, great service and quality food, will definitely be going back.

Introduced to this lovely little tapas bar by my brother who lives in Spalding. We popped in for a drink and some nibbles and the service, food and atmosphere was just brilliant. So friendly and welcoming, will definitely return when we move to Spalding soon!

We picked the wrong night for us. We wanted a quiet meal and conversation with friends. Unfortunately, it was one of the regular monthly 'Ibiza Nights' with a thumping disco and music from the famous Ibiza Pacha disco. The bar and restaurants were incredibly busy. Most of the clientelle were under 25. They were having a great time and it appears quite a popular nightspot. So be careful when you choose to go!The interior is an English idea of a Spanish bodega. Simple decor and furnitureThe tapas are good, authentic and good portions. Will definately return to try more of it. Can't judge the service as the restaurant and bar were heaving with people. We eventually got our order but had to wait an age for the bill. Our waitress was friendly but frazzled with the crowds but did turned up regularly to take additional drinks orders. They had thoughtfully set up a table for our group

Went here with work. Quite tightly packed i, but food was excellent. Drinks are some what pricey but the food outweighs that. Good staff, very attentive. Defo worth a visit.

We had a lovely lunch at Sergis. We ordered 3 dishes which were Russian salad , lamb dish of the day and calamari washed down with some excellent wine. We were so impressed we then ordered a further two dishes of meatballs and prawns in a cream sauce. We could not fault the food or the service.

Great service from Karl and Debbie food was very good I especially liked the Belly pork and Broad beans. Sergi’s a little gem in the heart of Lincolnshire.

First visit to this amazing restaurant and all I can say is I wish I’d have been sooner!! Food selection outstanding and extremely high quality. Waiting staff attentive and the atmosphere is just perfect. Definitely planning another visit in the near future.

I was recommended this restaurant so thought I would give it a try. I was not greatly impressed by the food although I will return to try other dishes. The ham carved at the bar was tasty, the sardines were large but I did not expect to fillet them myself, the courgette fritters did not resemble courgettes in taste and the burgers were nothing special. The proprietor was knowledgeable and translated the Spanish menu but it would be more helpful if there was a menu written in English alongside the Spanish. I will review again after my next visit.

It claimed to be a tapas bar, but in Spalding!! However, having had a wonderful lunch here, I have no doubt that it is a real tapas bar,,, and in Spalding! Excellent food, reminded me of holidays in Spain

Friendly, warm and homelike atmosphere. I felt incredibly welcome at sergis. Huge huge props to the staff there who made our large group very happy. Service was fast and the food was beyond delicious. Thank you!

A firm favourite that just seems to get better and better. The addition of pulled pork to the patatas bravas was a masterstroke and the churros are the best I've had outside Spain.

Friendly welcome and excellent service . As it was our first visit we weren’t sure what to order but the individual tapas were explained and recommendations were given to suit our requirements for a light lunch. Wasn’t sure what to expect but everything was perfect, cooked to perfection and so delicious. Definitely made an ordinary Saturday in Spalding something special. Will definitely be returning to Sergi’s in the future.

Booked a table for family dinner for my mums birthday. Loved the coziness and happy vibes inside the restaurant. The service really is excellent and very professional, nothing was too much trouble. Definitively recommend the meatballs and patatas bravas. An all round fab night, can’t wait to go back.

Here with a group of people and the food really wasn’t that authentic or any different to what could be made at home. Was expecting the potatoes to be with garlic and rosemary but instead they were basically oven wedges with thousand island dressing. The calamari was popcorn bites, so all deep fried crumb and very little calamari, had wondered if it came from a frozen bag. Had tapas several times in the past but first time in here. Staff friendly though and service was good, food was just quite average and not very Spanish tasting.

This is by far my most favourite restaurant in town. Always a warm and friendly welcome and the food never disappoints. A real gem of a place.

I visited this restaurant in December as part of a large group. The food was amazing a taste of Spain in Spalding! The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to accomadate all 28 of us! Bathe pink cava is a must for anyone who enjoys a bit of fizz. Would highly recommend this restaurant it’s the hidden gem of Spalding! I will definitely be visiting again.

The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and Spain. Whilst the food was good, the menu was limited and didn’t offer the full range of tapas. That said, it’s a good little find for Spalding. :)

Amazing food, all freshly cooked and to order. Fab service and lovely staff. Can't recommend enough.

Tapas is questionable. It’s bowls of chips and cheese amongst other bits and pieces. Took ages between the tapas course and the paella course and there was not enough food. Pricey and just not the quality you’d expect.

Came in for a first visit on a Friday lunchtime for a Birthday meal with my wife. From the moment we entered we were made to feel very welcome. There was a lovely selection of Tapas, which was all beautifully cooked and a decent selection of wine and beer. We chose a very nice bottle of Rioja to share between us. It was a great relaxing atmosphere, so relaxed they ran after us with our shopping which we had forgotten. Will definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful time at this fab restaurant. I went with my mothers for a nice mother daughter date and it was so lovely. (Make sure you prebook) Amazing tapas (especially the chorizo) and great selection of wine.

We visited on Thursday night for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were greeted immediately when when walked in and made to feel really welcome. The atmosphere was really nice and a large choice of food. Our food arrived and was so tasty, plentiful too. We had a nice bottle of wine and were really well looked after during our evening. We haven’t lived in the area very long, but this is by far the best place we have eaten. Excellent value for money too. We can’t wait to return. Thank you to all at Sergi’s.

My partner and I visited Sergis last night for our date night. As soon as we walked in, the buzzing atmosphere hit us, the staff who greeted us were SO friendly, we were served quickly and seated within a reasonable amount of time. There was a brilliant choice of drinks and when we were told the menu, it was hard to choose because of the fantastic variety. We had a number of smaller plates which were ALL exceptional. The food did take a little while to arrive but it was a busy Friday night so it was to be expected! We didn't mind anyway as we were able to take in the atmosphere and beautiful decor. We will be visiting again, 100% after the new year. Spalding is a small town with a number of restaurants and Cafes but this, by far, outshines them all!

Been many times to Sergis and never been disappointed.food is the best tapas I've had even when ive been in Spain!! The atmosphere is fantastic, the proprietors are such a lovely couple who make you feel welcome and go out their way to make your visit top notch. Highly recommend

Went here last night (17-11-2018) on a date night with my gorgeous wife after having it recommended by one of her friends. This was our first time ever in a Tapas bar so wasn't quiet sure what to expect but OMG the food here is OUTSTANDING . We were shown to our table by Carl and ordered drinks, he then came over and explained to us what the menu consisted of as it was in Spanish, maybe we will take our daughter here so she can use here Spanish. The food came out very quickly and was oh so tasty and hot, the 6 dishes we had complimented the food so very well and i must admit we struggled to finish it all but no way was i leaving any of it, it was just far too good to waste. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wishing to try something new. Decor is very well thought out although didn't get to see the courtyard outside. I would give the food, service and owner a well deserved 10 out of 10 and look forward to returning here

Oh my god ,what a fantastic Tapas Bar, was recommended by a friend and we definitely was not disappointed, would definitely recommend.

2nd vist to Restaurant, the first time Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. This time a little lest so. It was very busy n welcome always friendly. Food was not as good as last time nothing wrong with it but it lacked the first Wow factor. Paella was salty and sticky cooked in a rush it was felt by eaters. The range of choice was good and all arrived hot and looked tasty. The over all consensus was chief coped with demand but some dishes not as good as first time. Over all it is good value for money in a fun venue offering varied menu of good tapas dishes. We will be going again and still recommend it to others.

Friendly welcome. Nice little courtyard at the back where you can smoke if you want to. Spanish music playing adding to the ambience. Good selection of Tapas we had Paella which was really good.

Been to Sergi's 3 times this year. Have eaten tapas in Spain on a number of occasions and the tapas here is right up with the best of them. Always a nice atmosphere.

We came last night for my birthday and my gosh what a treat. The service and the food never fails to let us down. We always ask Karl to bring us a selection of Tapas and Paella to finish with. My gosh every mouthful is so tasty. Food is presented well and staff are very friendly. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for??!

Without a doubt the best food in spalding and the surrounding area....simply amazing. Never had a bad meal...such great selection and they change their menu regularly. We go most weekends....lovely owners also who make you feel very welcome. A*

Visited Sergis many times in the past and decided to take my partner and the in-laws (their first visit) for a meal to celebrate her birthday. Well what can I say, this place never fails to disappoint, great selection of tapas dishes full of flavour and an ever better paella to finish, and Karl makes your visit with his warm welcome right from the start! Will definitely keep visiting frequently and recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal in spalding, and more importantly the in-laws loved it and want to go back again!

Great atmosphere, friendly owners, interesting clientele, excellent wine list, fab food - lots of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters like. A good place simply for a quick beer in the courtyard, or to linger all afternoon with a jug of sangria and a few plates of tapas. Love it.

This is my 4th time visiting and I find the whole place amazing, amazing atmosphere, service and especially the food. Really recommended for family and friends can be romantic too for couples. Overall a really good experience every time.

Another successful visit to this great little restaurant. The welcome is always a warm one. Unsurprisingly very busy on this Friday evening but the staff were quick to get our drinks, explain the menu, and supply some bread, Serrano ham and olives while we mulled over the tapas on offer. The food is excellent, and atmosphere is buzzing. Love it. If you're treating friends, this is the place to go.

We wanted to have lunch in Spalding, but none of the usual suspects appealed. We have heard of Sergis as friends had recommended, so we headed there.

My family and myself had heard very good things about Sergi’s and decided to try it for the first time last month! It definitely did not disappoint. The menu has a good range of different food there to accommodate every visitor. We ordered multiple tapas dishes along with the paella and it was incredible, exceeded our expectations.

We have eaten here on numerous occasions and the service and food are to a very high standard. Delicious Tapas, such a good place to take your family or friends. Two birthday celebrations and two lunchtime visits in September. Highly recommended

I have been meaning to visit Sergi's for ages so when my wife and I found ourselves childless this weekend we decided to give it a go.

Been waiting a while to visit this restaurant and so glad we did, the food was brilliant and exceeded expectations. Will be returning!!

Finally got round to dropping into Sergi's this lunch time and had a truly delightful lunch. Even though service was quiet (we were in early), the atmosphere, service and food were just super. We had the calamari, king prawn, broad beans, pork skewers and some delicious fresh bread on the side. It was all sizzling hot and just as you'd want it. Thoroughly enjoyed it all and will be back again at the soonest opportunity. Thanks for a super lunch.

My husband & I visited for a late lunch. We both have food allergies but Carl helped go through the items on the blackboard to find dishes we could eat. He was friendly & welcoming. We enjoyed our food & the wine was excellent. We will be back!

Visited on a tapas themed night a few back and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time I didn't enjoy the food as much. The little patio area out the back is a nice location on a warm evening.

Amazing food and drink. Friendly and welcoming staff. Been on lots of different occasions and always enjoyed, their Balearic nights are especially good with a live DJ. Definitely one of the best places in town. 👏🏻

Staff are really nice, very warm welcome. Have good hygiene in both toilets and restaurant. Visit often and never disappointed in the food, hygiene or professionalism. They also know how to make their guest laugh and feel comfortable without it being forced or ‘part of their job’.

I was taken out here on my 69th birthday and had a very memorable evening. There is a list of about a dozen small but very tasty dishes, covering the range of meat, fish and vegetables. Four or five between two people should be sufficient to fill you up and leave you wishing you had the room to try some more. In fact one visit will almost certainly make you want to go back again.

Having lived in Spain I found the food pleasant but not adequately seasoned and not truly authentic, but had a good evening there with a friend.

The wife and I popped in for tea. Offered a drink and to peruse the menu which changes daily. We were then expertly guided through the menu. We had a selection of 6 dishes, all of which were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Can't fault the friendly, laid back service and atmosphere. Will definitely be going again.

Arrived early, not a problem as table ready for us. Host was excellent, explaining the menu in detail, advised us to have six meals as that would be plenty; it was more than! Great range of beers and wines, food cooked fresh but we didn’t wait that long which for a busy Saturday night was good. Food itself was awesome, each dish having its own unique flavour, lovely atmosphere; you would almost believe you were in Spain!
