Small, local eatery. I had the white pudding and fried fish, all very tasty and fresh.

Food is average or maybe just a bit above average, just as you'd expect from a takeaway like this. I feel like this is made up for in their price to portion size ratio. I've never ordered from here and felt like I was getting suboptimal quality in suboptimal amounts. I get a good amount of decent chippy food, and sometimes that's just what I need.

Food was absolutely awful. A disgrace how that could be produced and someone went "yeah that looks good"... Never again.

The doner and the wrap both were fresh. I especially loved their chilli sauce.

Fantastic Experience at Sergio’s! I recently ordered from Sergio’s on Slateford Road, I was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the fish and chips, which were cooked to perfection in front of me. The menu offers a great variety, and I also tried the doner kebab, which was great in taste. The service was excellent.

This is great place to have pizza, i had ordered customised one with high spice levels and they made it very good and loved it. Its one of my go to place. Staff is also friendly.

Just ordered a fish supper and a bag of chips,chips were brick hard and fish was burnt,so bad for £16.40,don't know if new ownership but this used to be one of the best,now it's went downhill big time

My friend suggested this takeaway to me and i was not disappointed. Tried their chicken calzone which was amazing.I will definitely recommend this gem of a place for quick supper or late night dinner!

Always a reliable takeaway, they had a small problem with their online orders which was sorted immediately as i messaged them. Due to the inconvenience they offered me a free starter which i thought was excellent customer service. The food is also amazing can never go wrong with their pizzas, the delivery is also very speedy and friendly, I definitely recommend

Mix kebab is a mix of left over kebabs. The meat is almost stinky. Avoid.

The food is pretty awful, there seems to be no handwashing despite chips cheese and other foods being handled with hands, wait always takes a while and staff don't seem to like the fact you're in the shop. Even for fast food, could do a lot better

Feel dissapointed and robbed on price and quality the donner kebab meat was very very very dry and the quality was 0 stars the meat after midnight should be as fresh as it gets they didnt even heat up the pitta bread that goes with the kebab they messed up 2 chips orders and the portion size for the price isnt worth the hastle id give this place 0 stars

Just collected a white pudding supper and 2 fish suppers. The fish and the white pudding were fine, but the chips were awful, dried, very chewy and brown, obviously been kept for a long time and reheated.

Order arrived after an hour half the order missing. Had to call shop twice to wait another hour.Got told we would get fresh chips no certainly where not. No sauces sent no apologies. Will never use again waste money

Best chippy in Edinburgh. The staff really nice and friendly, portions are huge and the quality of the food is superb. The business owner is really kind and helpful. I tried this time their kebab roll and it was amazing! The chips good quality. The spicy and garlic sauces are handmade and the best ones I have tried. Been looking for a decent pizza place for a while that isn't anything pretentious. Found it. Pizza was made to order with generous toppings. Look forward to many more visits

Called in here last night after looking on Google for a chippy. On first impression the place looked dirty but I decided to order a black pudding supper and a hamburger. Food was rotten. Tasted like it had been in the oven all day. Was charged nearly £11.00 for it. Was disgusting and I would certainly not recommend this place to anyone

Ordered a Bolognese Pizza. It was dry mince. Saturday 3rd Feb for the benefit of Sergio’s reading this. I’m guessing you didn’t have any bolognese sauce this day 🤨 never again. The rest of the order was ok. I won’t use you again though

I lived in Edinburgh a few years ago and this was my favourite chippy. I was in Edinburgh recently and it's still just as good. Chips are perfect and the onion rings are fresh, the best I've ever had.

Stumbled into this gem of a place and the experience from the start to finish was lovely. Even being a chippy there was a true sense of hospitality. polite staff, plenty options on the menu, food fresh delicious, generous portions. Tried the chicken wrap and pizza, definitely recommend. Will definitely be back for more.

I recently visited this takeaway, it had great food and service. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I ordered Chicken wrap and it was cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous and the price was reasonable. I also appreciated the fact that they were open till late, which made it convenient for me to grab a bite after 12 at night. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this takeaway to anyone looking for good food and service.

Food not bad for a chippie, but the place needs a good clean, the state of one of the young lads tea shirt who was wrapping food was terrible.

First fish and chips in a very long time and I fairly enjoyed it. The fish was cooked nicely, the chips were neither great nor bad and there was sauce evenly throughout the meal, not just on top. I ordered after midnight on a Saturday night and it came quickly and nice and hot which I appreciate when the shop probably just wants to get ready to go home. Delivery driver was very kind also.

Amazing customer service, made me exactly what I asked for even though it was just before closing and I got it delivered. The delivery guy didnt take a tip either, and the food is phenomenal. These guys are amazing.

Pizza burnt, flafels dry and cooked at too high a temperature resulting in solid texture. Chips good.

Pre ordered an hour before I wanted my order, got a notification that there was some delays so waited half an hour before phoning the shop. The manager answered and assured me my order was with the driver and would be with me shortly. Half an hour later I phoned again and was told my order would be another hour due to issues with the delivery driver, but my food had been sitting ready for half an hour. The young girl on the phone was very unprofessional and quite clearly not able to do her job in the slightest, and was useless and kept childishly giggling. Very unprofessional and the shop is not well run considering it was a ‘quiet Thursday night’. Will not be back

Been here before and the burgers are great. However first time ordering, ordered a fish supper. Fish was dry on the inside but very soggy batter, chips were burned and it was freezing cold. We waited two hours for two fish suppers. Not one to complain but this chippy is quite expensive and not much value for money. Very disappointed.

Phoned twice to check when delivery would be was told driver had left phoned again was told driver was just leaving clearly lied waited much longer than told but to make it even worse we have food poisoning from the fish both of us have been violently sick all night and a friend is feeling awful and sick 🤢 😡😡😡😡😡

Top place, cracking salad and quality meat on kebab

Used a few times from desperation but never again. Rather make sure I leave earlier and go to a quality establishment than give these guys any more overcharged barely par food. Hopefully somebody might see the potential and buy these guys out.

We ordered two meals (fish supper and fishcake supper) were asked if we wanted salt and sauce on the fishcakes, I said "salt and vinegar, no sauce", we were then handed both meals which had salt and sauce. Queue me: "I swear I'd said salt and vinegar no sauce" and hadn't even been asked what we wanted on the fish supper. Looked back to them (server and chef) and they just stared at us? Like fair enough, maybe you misheard, easy mistake. But instead of a "oops my bad" or anything they just stared at us, in silence, until we left the resteraunt. Which is pretty poor customer customer service, even by chippy standards 😂

This was the second time we had ordered from Sergio's and it has been an extremely disappointing experience. We placed our order for one pizza, a side of chips and cheese, and a tin of juice at around 17.15 and were told it would be delivered by 17.50 on Sergio's own website. The meal didn't arrive until around 18.45. This was after several phone calls to Sergio's which offered little to no explanation beyond traffic. At least two of my later phone calls seemed to be ignored since, when phoning with a withheld number moments later, the call was answered immediately. The food was not piping hot but it was certainly edible, if a little bland. The order was initially missing the tin of juice which was, to be fair to Sergio's, upgraded to a full bottle by means of apology and delivered shortly thereafter. This upgrade is the reason for the second star. The most disappointing part of this experience has been the customer service. Had we only been given an honest estimate for the delivery, we wouldn't have been so frustrated at the tardiness of the food and lack of explanation. During one call, the person I spoke to said they'd call me back with an update which didn't happen. More that this, seeming to ignore customer calls regarding an order which has been paid in advance, and which was not correctly fulfilled, until that customer withholds their caller ID is perhaps the worst customer service we've experience from a takeaway in Edinburgh.

Stopped here on the way home to Whitburn, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent.
