Sergio's Fish and Chips in Flintshire

We've eaten here before and the food has been great. Sadly, tonight, although the fish was tasty, the chips were dry and hard. Tasted like they had been standing in the heated area for more than long enough. Couldn't be bothered to drive back from Holyhead to complain.

They only accept cash. the fish was excellent and is always cooked to order. Chips not as good and not hot enough. Good sized portions. They had run out of pickled eggs.

We have visited Sergio's multiple times and the fish and chips are exceptional and consistent every time. Worth a try if you usually go to the other local fish and chip shops.

Called here for some fish and chips, the menu is pretty long, fried sausage, fried chicken, burgers and lots more etc etc. The fish was freshly cooked and I must say the batter was very light and crispy, however the actual fish was very thin. The chips were acceptable but were rather bland. Maybe sack off all the different options on the menu and concentrate on the basics.

The chips were so fresh and perfectly cooked. Good portion size ( I had a small one. ) Fishcake and gravy lovely. Staff very polite. Highly recommended.

Chips tasted foul, then found a FRIED CIGARETTE STUMP in the chips!!! Reported this to environmental health! Will never return here again!!!

Chips fresh,jumbo sausages very tasty, fishcakes delicious, staff polite, parking nearby, what more could you want.

Bloody horrible! Battered sausage tasted like it had been there for weeks! Chips soggy and girl serving was a miserable b€tch. Very expensive!

The man who owns sergios is a rude and I'll mannered piece of work the way he speaks to his female staff is way out of order..I will not spend another penny in there and I will certainly not recommend either the chip shop or pizza place...disgusting

Two recent visits and twice we’ve got home and something has been missing from the order. If you enjoy having to drive back to collect the missing food, and getting home to your meal being cold, then this is your place. We’ll go to Enoch’s next week.

Excellent fish and chips. Fish was fresh and moist and batter was crispy and not greasy. Portion size was good. Friendly service and cooked while we waited. Couldn’t fault it.

pop in today for fish/chips scabby chips a lot of bits not many chips and reheated , fish must of been standing a while it was dry

Called in when staying in nearby hotel, fish and chips was lovely and fresh and huge portion for the price, shame I don’t live close by I’d call in all the time, staff where friendly would definitely recommend

First take away from here for me and my partner although mum (a local) has been before. Fish chips and mushy peas all round and it was top notch. Generous size cod, perfect light tasty batter and crispy chips. This is now our go to chippy Thanks Sergios

Loved my portion of fish & chips from Kemal at Sergio’s in Valley. The batter was light and crispy and the thick white flaky fish was cooked to perfection. Fish and chips at its best! Added to this great service by Jane and colleagues Look forward to my next visit.

We were having a day out in Anglesey and came across Sergios. We are so pleased we did...Great Fish and Chips. Thankyou Sergio.

Visited for an evening meal before going to watch the sunset. Ordered chips, cheese, beans and 6 chicken nuggets. Food was prepared in a decent amount of time. Paid and collected the food, and drove to south stack to eat. When i opened the box i started eating and noticed that the nuggets were missing. Tried to phone them up but must of been closed, was very annoyed the part i was looking forwars to most was not there, and ruined the sun set for me as i was really guuted about my nuggets :(

Absolutely the best fish and chips I've eaten in years. The fish was succulent with lovely white flesh and a good thickness (not the thin tail end like alot of places are serving) the chips were fresh and homemade along with the sweet curry and mushy peas it really was fantastic. Thank you very much.

Visited twice whilst on holiday. Top quality food, all freshly cooked and great service. Highly recommended. Will certainly be back next year.

We were in the area for the bank holiday. Fancies fish & chips and this was close to us. Tasty! Fish, chips, sausage, peas & curry sauce. Good value too.

First time back to Trearddur this year so back to Sergios. Guys - wonderful food and service - haddock large and tasty - chips not oily and nicely slightly crispy - n' mushy peas.

I have no idea how they fry their chips, but they are the best chips ever ! Everything cooked to order. Great food, great portion sizes, highly recommended.

I ordered food for five, very quick service, the price was resaonable, the portions were big (even the small chips), a very nice chippy indeed!

Very disappointing given the reviews we read. The cod was greasy and over cooked. The chips were OK. at £4.80 for a standard cod not good value for money! Other local chippies are much better and cheaper.

Instead of defaulting to Enoch's, we tried Sergio's on a friend's recommendation. The food was cooked fresh to order, packaged well but not as good as we were expecting. I was happy with my haddock, the chips were OK, had better, had worse, but my partner's scampi was really not right - I will go so far as to say it wasn't scampi but chopped and reshaped white something (no texture\taste to confirm it was fish based) - she was not happy, at all. Sadly to save pennies, they sell a rubbish product.

If you are looking for a good fish and chip shop then look no further. Fish is always freshly cooked and chips are always crisp and dry. We don’t like greasy chips so these are just perfect.

Called in for tea one night while on holiday on Anglesey. Service was excellent, Everything was cooked fresh, which meant a slight wait, and tasted great. Definitely return next time were on Anglesey.

We stopped off here on a friday evening for a fish and chip takeaway and were pleasantly impressed with the quality as the fish was very tasty and fresh and the chips were crisp yet fluffy probably because it hadn't been standing around and had been done freshly for us. we also had some curry sauce and the taste of that was spot on and was great to dip the chips in. We will return here as we loved every mouthful and had more than enough to fill us up. Well worth a visit if your hungry.

Great popular chippy , service with a welsh smile , good portions of chips , all the old favourites on the menu , crispy fish and the curry sauce was a winner for me . Good luck for 2019.

Not very happy! Cold night, long drive, so thought we would get fish and chips. Ordered and paid for a jumbo battered sausage, haddock and chips, and large peas. Get to campsite and no battered sausage!!! Wouldn’t have minded but they were not exactly busy!!!! Can’t be bothered to drive all the way back to get it!

This is a stunning place off the beaten track near the cathedral in Chester. You can’t hear the background music for the noise of conversation. An authentic Italian with authentic food and beautiful wine. Really recommend 😃

Absolutely scrumptious. Best fish and chips we have had . Great fish and chip shop with lovely friendly staff and quality food.

Popped in a couple of days ago to get some chips for lunch. Pleasantly surprised. The staff were cheery, the service speedy, and the chips put into a box rather than a plastic container (I hate plastic containers, things just sweat inside and end up tasting rather soggy and bland).
