6 of us took our own drinks and were shown to a table at sen yai. The staff were very friendly and the food was plentiful and very tasty. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and look forward to going again.

Probably the best quality and best value Thai food in the Wimbledon area. Mainly cooked by the proprietor's mother the food is authentic and unlike many other venues they don't succumb to sweetening the food to please a western palate (unlike say Giggling Squid) or omit key ingredients (like say Cafe Amaranth in Earlsfield)

Came here for a quick dinner and we weren’t disappointed. Excellent value for money and food was delicious. Best Thai I’ve had in a long time. Excellent flavours, sauces weren’t too heavy. Would recommend!

Very disappointed at the standard of food. Not value for money. Runny and tasteless sauce. Used to be a lot better. 🙁

I love Sen Yai so much!! The food is amazing and the owners are always SO hospitable and lovely. We hired out the place for my partners birthday, and the food and service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend visiting for private events, lunch, dinner and to eat in or take out!!! I can't fault it!

We've in the past had meals at this restaurant but given the current situation we decided to try a takeaway of spring rolls and pad thai. It was delivered promptly and with friendliness, tasted absolutely delicious and was extremely good value. Thank you Sen Yai.

We ordered a takeaway. Lovely people but the food is only a 6/10. The Vegetable Tempura is good but the Tamarind duck is awful along with the Gyoza being fried to death! The Noodles were not bad either.

I ordered through Uber Eats and am so grateful it was an uber promotion saving me most of the cost. The food was extremely poor quality. Dumplings were falling apart and clearly overcooked. Beef Massaman Curry: Sauce was watery with little flavour, potatoes were undercooked, and Beef was clearly pre-cooked and added to the sauce as it was unusually tough. Pad Thai however was the biggest disappointment, there was a nasty aftertaste and no chilli whatsoever. I normally order Pad Thai as something ti heat up the following day, this went in the bin after a couple of mouthfulls. I've walked past this restaurant many times and always thought it looked quaint, the Uber Lockdown promotion presented a great opportunity to give the food a try, but unfortunately thanks to this taster i will not be visiting this particular Thai restaurant.

This is an excellent little local restaurant with very friendly and efficient service, BYO (always a plus) and food which tastes like you could have picked it up at a street stall in Thailand (authentic). The prices are incredibly reasonable, my only critcism would be that the table cloths smelt a bit greasy the last time we were there and the starters were a little greasy for my liking. Still a great addition to the local offering!

Couldn't recommend Sen Yai more. Extremely reasonably priced and BYOB which is brilliant. The food is outstanding aswel with nice big portions. Lovely quaint setting and in the summer you can also dine alfresco! The owner / manager is really nice and genuine also. 5 STARS!

I placed an order on line for delivery in the area. Paid for the order and they cancelled my order with no explanation and refunded the money. So had to deal with very hungry people and a ruined night. Can’t fathom why!

Really enjoyed our visit. Good advice on our order from the owner and very tasty. The only downside was the wait because they were dealing with a lot of takeaways. All very tasty but the gyoza was a little disappointing. Would definitely recommend and return!!

We’ve been coming here for well over year and it is by far our most favourite restaurant! Every single dish we’ve had has always been so so so flavoursome, with generous portions and very fair prices!.. plus it’s byob and no corkage! We always get three mains between 2 of us cause we just can’t help ourselves! Fave dishes include ALL the curries, panang, green, yellow, massaman, red.. we’ve had them all and they are amazing! What’s more me and my partner are vegan/vegetarian, the chefs are more than happy to hold the fish sauce/eggs on all dishes it’s never been a problem! We usually order a noodle dish with our curries, would recommend Pad see ew, Rard nar. We had the Tom ka last night, which was amazing. It is off the menu so ask for specials if you go in! (See picture) There’s a few tables inside cause I think they mainly do takeaways but we love eating in! Staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is lovely with the sounds and smells from the fresh dishes being cooked! I find it hard to find fault in this little jem and would recommend it to anyone!

Sen Yai certainly delivers what it says in the “tin” with its fairly authentic Thai street food served in and outside a small, rustic room that doubles as a kitchen, dining area and servers. Limited seating inside and out. Very friendly, welcoming staff (must be the owners) and prompt taking and serving of orders cooked almost before your eyes. I had Thai fish cakes, tempura veg (really good and memorable style and taste) and a beef Thai curry - all substantial and all met my expectations. Not a licensed premises so if you want beer or wine you have to bring your own. I believe it only takes cash payments so beware.

This place is seriously great. Spot the days specials handwritten around the quirky decor. Some of the best Thai in London no doubt and a very cheap night out with the free BYO.

This is a great little Thai restaurant/café in Southfields, service is friendly and quick and food is very nice and not greasy like some Thai/Chinese places. Our favourites are the Pad See Yu and Khoa Pad Prik. Being BYO helps to keep it cheap too,...

This is my go-to local Indian take away. Particularly love their chicken dansak. Great mushroom rice and paratha too. Very friendly service too if you use the collection service. I recently discovered they have a dedicated app which I have been using instead of Deliveroo etc. great work guys, keep it up!
