Lovely food, we started with Korean fried chicken and kimchi pancake (definitely recommend, even the 9month old loved it)! Then bibimbap and bulgogi - pork one was delicious!!. I found it is nicer to share meals to taste it all as it can be quite a lot of one flavour.

Came here without a reservation. We were seated quickly but it took a really long time to get service after that. It felt quite chaotic. The food did come quickly once we ordered. We started with the kimchi jeon (pancakes), which were tasty. For the mains we got two tofu jiajang and a chicken bibimbap. We all agreed the mains were super bland, especially the jiajang. Prices are pretty good but the portion sizes also feel on the small side. I enjoy Korean food a lot, but I wouldn’t return here. p.s. the placemats say they don’t use MSG. I’m thinking that maybe they should reconsider their position on that…

Amazing family owned restaurant. The food is scrumptious, with a lot of local Korean people. That's how you know it's authentic! The flavoured peach SoJu is a must try. You cannot really go wrong with any food, but if you are new to the Korean cusine, the menu has hints about popularity, how hot the dish is, and chefs choices. It's very easy to read. The server was fabulous, very pleasant to talk to and I loved her little walk! Highly recommended!

Authentic tasty Korean food. Great selection of drink options and brilliant value for money re: lunch set deals as well; service is friendly but a little on the slower side because they’re short on staff. Went in on a hot day and it felt a little stuffy in there!

Incredibly delicious authentic Korean food. The trick is to share and try many dishes, which is the traditional way to enjoy Korean food. The staff were so friendly and efficient. We didn’t book ahead and managed to get a table - Friday evening. I can’t wait to come back! It was affordable, 2 starters 2 main and a drink, £26 each. The seafood jeon was yummy!

Really good food and great service.

It's my first time to visit a Korean restaurant in Battersea, and compared to the London Center Korean restaurant, it's not lacking at all :-) The raw beef was so delicious, and the stir-fried squid with gochujang was delicious! I was able to eat a meal where I could feel the taste of Korea! A really lovely, authentic looking restaurant. It's really dark and atmospheric inside, the service was really good, the food was incredible. We ordered a bunch of starters and cold dishes and that was enough, very filling! This is the best version of kimchi jeon I've had yet. The gimbal, omg I could eat it all day. Tteokbbokki was really good too. I'll be back to try their bibimbap next!!

Unfortunately the food was not good, probably the worst Korean food I’ve ever had, service was nice but the food itself doesn’t have any taste. I made way better Korean cold dish than what I ordered there, and I’m not even Korean. The salad leaf was old and not fresh sadly, overall the rating is way higher than the food. Ended up feeling disappointed

Easy from station, tasty food and enjoyed the instructions from the person serving us. Would welcome an ipa beer option on the menu!

I came here with some friends for dinner, it was my second time after a while. We booked a table for four on a weekday. The people working there were nice, but it took very long to be served, about an hour to get our food and I wouldn't consider the place to have been busy. I wasn't happy with my meal as it didn't taste of anything, maybe I didn't make the right choice, so I wouldn't recommend the soups as an only dish, at least not the one with slow cooked chicken. My friends were happy with their meals, but we all agreed that it took so long. The desserts were quite nice, particularly the sesame oreo ice cream. Overall experience was okay.

We come to Hana regularly as family of 6 and have been doing so for many years. Food always excellent, service great. We have the bibumbap, seafood pancake, chap Jae, chocolate rice cakes. Always excellent and friendly place.

Amazing Sunday evening meal. The restaurant is peaceful. Service is really lovely and friendly. The food is outstanding (you must go to the restaurant to get the full experience). Best bi bim bap in London, ordered the beef. The pork and vegetable dumplings are a must aswell as the kimchi pancake :)

Very delicious food. The sweet chilli chicken was perfectly crispy with a lovely sauce, though not all bites were the best cuts of meat. The chicken katsu (came with rice) again had nice crispy chicken, but the quality of chicken was short on a few bites. The sauce should have been heated, it was disappointing being cold - and although it was advertised as not curry, I've never seen it served cold before. The peach juice was very nice, had 3! Were happy to accommodate 5 people and bookings ahead of time. Staff were very professional. We ordered 5 starters for 5 people which was way too much, luckily one of us never stops eating and finished the rest, I would say 1 starter per 2 people is the right balance. Clean, tidy and warm atmosphere. Would like to visit again and try more dishes.

Ordered takeaways from here before due to the expansive gluten free menu. Visited the restaurant a few weeks ago and enjoyed our visit. The fried chicken is very good, as is the bulgogi beef. We also tried a chicken soup which we were warned was very bland and, unsurprisingly, it was. Will definitely visit again, although maybe won't have the soup.

Amazing place! The food is delightful! As a starter I always order the delicious seafood omelette and this time I tried the tartare: it's sublime! As a main course we ordered the barbecue meat: I love it! . If you still have space (because the portions are very good), I recommend the desserts, they are few but very good. I love this place because the food is delicious, the price is reasonable and the service is excellent, they guide you and help you try new things that are simply delicious! 100% recommended👍

Had a great bibimbap here. It was brought in a skillet that keeps the food cooking a bit while you eat which is amazing. The beer was also great.

One of the best restaurants in London, I couldn't reocnmend it enough. Very good for vegan and vegetarian options too.

Love this Korean restaurant. The owner is very friendly and helped me practice my Korean. The food is delicious and prices reasonable during lunchtime.

We visited this restaurant a year ago and every thing we ordered was amazing. This year we had it pinned as a must. But we did not enjoy the food taste and quality and quantity as last year. The noodle soup was taste less, the rice was also lacking taste. The pan fried dumplings were burned and tasted awful. Fried Chicken was ok but not as good and small quantity. Prices are very expensive for the quality and quantity. Will think twice to visit again.

It is absolutely the best Korean food I had in London so far. Delicious and tasty. Family run restaurant with warm atmosphere and very welcoming. Highly recommend if you are in Clapham Junction or Wandsworth area.

Worst Korean restaurant I’ve ever visited! Worse than any other Korean chain restaurant. Please do not fall for Michelin marketing! All I got was small portion but overpriced and tasteless food. Ordered Korean fried chicken but it was basically some chicken skin with coating and sauce, (£9.5 ish) how dare the restaurant call this Korean fried chicken? As for the hot pot soup, the soup was so plain that it can merely be called “water.” I asked to waive the service charge as there was no service provided and the horrible food I got. The staff said that the chef is from Korea but I really doubt it as no Korean will stand this low level of outrageous cuisine. I have good appetite and normally yay to any restaurant but this place so bad that I have to leave reviews to let others know.

Korean food is one of my favourite cuisine, I love this place, it’s unpretentious, and the food is so good I have cravings just thinking about it. My favourite local to have lunch while reading my newspaper on a Saturday. I highly recommend the tofu, pork and kimchi, my go to lunch.

This is the most absolute hidden gem of Korean BBQ that ever existed. I live in New Malden, the Korean capital of London and I still come back to Hana. Lin and her family are so kind and lovely to their customers. It's shocking that this place isn't all booked up every night. If you don't believe me go there and order: 1 seafood pancake and or 1 kimchi pancake, Sweet and Spicy Chicken with rice and the Bulgogi beef... You will be a customer for life 🙏

Love this place! Their fried chicken, bulgogi, rice dishes and simply everything are delicious. Plus the decor is very calming.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind, really took care of my friend who was feeling a little tender from the night before. The food was amazing. I definitely recommend the steak tartar. Spicy pork Bibimbap was amazing.

It must be doing something right as it has been around in Battersea for as long as we can remember, and that is over two decades. It was also a good sign that much of the clientele the Tuesday evening we visited were Asian. No complaints about the food, particularly tempura prawns in batter, a medley of seafood including scallops, squid, mussels and prawns in a dark sauce and battered chicken slices with rice, a sort of Korean equivalent of katsu without the curry. Only the service was initially a little slow from a waiter who chose to rest in a recumbent position behind the bar rather than take orders.

Worth the try, great experience, nice staff, an excellent food. Liked the hot pot Bulgogi

Food was amazing! The Chef felt like he didn't give us enough Katsu chicken and gave us more on the house without prompting. Top notch service and food, can't go wrong.

I discovered Hana a couple of years ago and every time I come it's a fantastic experience. Hana is located in the heart of Clapham junction, just a few minutes away from the station. It's a family owned business and you can feel it when eating there. Food is fresh and delicious. Portions are adequate and staff are friendly. Recommended

Good food and certainly not bland mainstream. good size portions. Busy. But they don't rush you. I liked this place. Not fancy but value for money give it a go I will be back

Wanting to explore Korean food more and being in the area I thought itworth a try. Only my second Korean restaurant and I loved it. The hot dishes were a delight and a feast to the eye. First but not last taste of glass noodles. Charming service. A restaurant to return to as the menu was extensive and I must try those dumplings next time.

Favourite Clapham Junction place -so far. Great food. Prices ok.

I suffer from celiac disease and for me eating out feeling safe is always a challenge. Here I felt looked after as the lovely waitress (I think the owner) made sure everything was gluten free and suitable for me. I enjoyed my gimbap and my bibimbap so much thanks to this pretty Korean restaurant! Next time I’ll come back to try some other options from the vast GF menù 😋 thank you!

Food is okay, service is good. I was excited when I spotted they served cold noodle, I've been looking for that in London for a long time and this is the first time I found it. But it served with plenty of ice cubes, the beef is tough and probably just 4 slices of it. What supposed to be buckwheat noodle is completely white in colour, which is bizarre. The chicken udon is average, the best thing is the kimchi. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, the barbecue on the next table looks good though

Popped in for quick dinner and was so pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the waitresses and super tasty food. The best kimchi jjigaes I’ve had in a very long time, so much flavor and perfect portion size. Will definitely be back!!!

This restaurant has a dedicated gluten free menu with hundreds of options to choose from. Their noodle soups are a must try, but be careful with the spice levels. In addition there is a variety of sake that won’t break the bank. Recommended: Pa jeon (seafood pancake), Jjam bbong (spicy seafood noodle soup).

Fried chicken is great but kimchi jjigae needs some serious improvement - ours arrived with a skin on top, very thick and almost tomatoey - like it had been stewing for a very long time!

Great Korean food. Lots of choice genuine Korean dishes cooked to order, great service and good prices. A little uncomfortable as no chairs but comfortable padded benches.

So thankful for a great family owned Korean restaurant in London. Everything we tried is very tasty and feels quite authentic. Bibimpap is always a winner as well as the dumplings and kimchee pancake. Husband craves the Pork Bulgogi every time and kid loves the chicken Udon Noodles. Our favourite Korean in town. Can't wait to come back.

Had a really great time, my sister and I shared dishes and drank peach and grape soju. Kimchi jeon and Mandu for starters were delicious only 4 mandu but very well made, the jeon was delicious and quite big too. For mains we shared a myeolchi bibimbap and a kimchi jjigae, soo tasty. Then of course we ordered yangyeum chicken and a kimbap to finish our soup off, only thing I can say is there was a long wait between the last 2 dishes we almost got the bill assuming they forgot 😅 but it was again delicious, veg in kimbap blanched and seasoned well.

ordered the beef bibimbap , kimchi, and soy chicken wings. i’ve heard a lot about korean fried chicken and tried a few places including four fingers in singapore and i really thought these were delicious and made with the best quality ingredients. i don’t know what authentic korean food tastes like but i thought this tasted exactly how i expected!

Really disappointing. First time and last time. Dumplings nice. Battered starter chicken had NO chicken, sent back back twice still no chicken just batter. BBQ beef boneless beef, lovely sauce but fatty and chewy. Staff served in a winter jacket, baggy and stuffy jeans. Overall experience not pleasant. Will not return.

An excellent introduction to Korean cuisine. One thing of note, on a mid week lunchtime, the restaurant was moderately full and at least half the diners were asian, quite possibly Korean, which seemed to auger well for an authentic experience. The lunch menu described each dish well but caused me some procrastination as to what to select on my initial visit. Settling on Bibimbap, I found was an enjoyable first choice, with the side of chilled Kimchi a contrasting tang. I look forward to returning and sampling more of the delicious sounding dishes on the menu.

Ordered mint tea as a drink, kimchijeon as a starter and Beef bulgogi and Samgyetang as main dishes. Samgyetang was a little blend but beef bulgogi was super tasty and good portion! Kimchijeon was a little smaller than I expected … but other than that, it was a lovely experience ! Btw loved the mint tea. I will go again and try other menus as well soon 😁
