Selfish in Wirral

They’ve moved to beef dripping and since they have the food is delicious, they are exactly how fish and chips should be..

My wife and I had fish and chips delivered to our home. Worst fish and chips ever,hard chips greasy fish horrible, £20 wasted. Obviously warm ups in a microwave

Wow, just had my first Selfish Wok. It was the best take away I have had in years. It was tasty, very fresh, the chicken tasted and looked like chicken and everything was soo light and I don't have that heavy MSG feeling. I hope things continue as they started 🤞

Have to say a few weeks ago I had a little moan over the chips, but I got a decent explanation off the management Went back today and have to say 100% back to their best Chips lovely to the end and the Haddock !!! Extra special Thanks guys/gals be back soon

Went to this place on 24th Feb, if your hungry Don,t go there,portions very small no taste and the curry is like coloured water worse of all dripping in grease, he has kids working there who really Don,t know if they are coming or going. I seen who I think was the owner tell one of the young girls to take chips out of the box because she put too many in for what he calls a portion. I would never use this place or recommend it to anyone. Total rip off for what you get.

We have been saying that we would like to try this chip shop out as seeing it popping up on Facebook quite alot. We live in Saughall Massie so off we go along the M53 to Brombrough..Ordered a mini fish dinner and chips,peas,gravy..waited a bout 7mins which was fine..the girl called our order out and gave me a bag with my order in. I asked her if she had put salt and vinegar on them as no one had asked us if we wanted it..she said yes she had put it on. We were parked a few mins away from the shop so decided to eat there and then..My fish dinner had no salt and vinegar on so food was bland..my son assumed his chips peas and gravy would come on a tray but each item was seperate and again no salt and vinegar...sadly we wont use this chip shop again..the girls serving need to ask if salt and vinegar is required ..also maybe ask if chips and any sauces are to be put together on a tray and not served seperately.

Just had fish & chips. The fish was cooked fresh while we waited. Huge portion of chips each, far too much for me, but my husband managed to finish. £16 for the two. Can’t fault it.
