Really best bar in ediburgh, we love it! Also find lucas he is best bartender, he make a really good cocktail!! Our bartender friend loves Turkish people very much and showed extra interest in us. If you come to Edinburgh, definitely stop by here and try the drinks they make, they are really affordable and very nice. Thank you Lucas for everything👍

Really disappointed as we wanted to visit this bar yesterday (Monday 5th) got here as hours stayed open from 5pm and not open. Really need to update information

Had the most strange experience with this place! My friends and I were passing by it during the Fringe Festival, and this guy invites us in, who we thought was the owner. But when we went in, this woman rudely tells us to leave, as she claimed 'there were no seats,' but clearly, there was space. They definitely need to train their waitresses on how to be more customer-friendly. Also don't waste people's time by inviting them in first and then asking them to leave - stupidity!

Mrs. Madzia, the manager, was probably not in a good mood today. Very unpleasant service, which has never happened to me there before (and I've been there many times). Pity :(

Love this place so much the 2 girls that have served me each time I have been are amazing at their job their customer service is excellent. Friendly great at drinks recommendations made to feel so welcome so much so I have been in 3 times over the last 2 months & I have to take a train to get there. This bar will no forever be on my place to go when I visit Edinburgh it should most definitely be on yours the drinks selection is fantastic so many vodkas to choose from. I love the pina colada shot its smooth & so creamy a must try if you like a pina colada that is. 😋 I tried the nachos on my last visit delicious so tasty my friend & I shared they were a very generous portion. If you go any place while on the royal mile I highly recommend going here. For several vodkas there are so much to choose from there are of course other drinks options aswell.

Not inviting. Confusing environment and scene. No arcade. Not sure what this place is trying to do

Wow - dozens of different types of vodka including regular, flavored, and a mix. Menu that includes appetizers, mains, and desserts. Got haggis balls. Had great salmon. Up a back stairway worth it. Just a handful of tables/seats.

£20 for 6 shots people! Says it all really!

If you have been to the wodka bar in krakow you will love this place! Massive variety of soplica and Krupnik vodkas. Definitely worth a visit!

I came here with friends and we had some drinks here. Now, I'd had a really rough day, just half an hour before I'd slipped on some steps and split my knee open, and when I got my beer, somehow I knocked that over too. I was so frustrated I cried! And the barman consoled me, darling it's just beer!! And he gave me another beer and a polish sweet. Felt much better and we enjoyed our time there a lot!

Star less for table been sticky from previous party and amount of vodka purged over table. Part of that: what a night!!!

Place was great, when they offered cocktails.. Seem to have stopped doing cocktails all together and if I really wanted to drink alcohol straight I have literally Any supermarket.. Nice enough atmosphere though, lovely little place if you're not going for cocktails

Don’t get confused guys. There isn’t any arcade machines here. But the unique vodkas are nice 👌🏻

Favourite late night watering hole..great staff.

Wasn’t expecting much as it was on the main tourist trail.. wasn’t I wrong! The Robert Burns haggis dish was the best I’ve seen and tasted, cranach amazing and a good range of whisky. Recommended to friends who said the same. I have eaten haggis dozens of times but the presentation and taste was beyond compare!

Downstairs the Waitresses are very unfriendly. We only wanted drinks, but upstairs was no more free seating and they told us to sit down downstairs (they have been friendly). Downstairs the other waitresses told us that we can have a drink but have to leave if someone arrives who wants to eat (unfriendly) . We waited long for ordering something because they were ignoring our table and then we decided to leave because we felt very not welcomed by them.

Love this wee bar, I only visited the upper level where there is a bar with a seating area and an additional small room. The food smelt great, sadly I had already eaten. Also if you are a huge vodka lover, this is your place. A huge range of vodkas and they flavor their own.

6 of us went for drinks. Told on arrival that tables are only for food orders so we would have to stand by the bar. Offered table eventually. However constantly being looked down by passing waitresses and remainded rudly by bartender that we got seated by her grace we should be squeezing in tightly and not obscuring walkway which was a about 2 feet wide. Adding wet slippery floors floors in toilet, faulty hand drier and no towels. Makes for very bad experience. Won't be going back!

Très bon restaurant, on s'est régalé !!! On a mangé un burger au poisson et un haggis. Excellents !!!!! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! Les serveuses sont en plus très souriantes et gentilles 👍

Vodka shot deal ripoff. Most tasted like fruit juice. 2 cocktails, same name, tasted completely different. One tasted vaguely like it had alcohol and the other tasted like fruit juice. Do not go here!

Lovely bar, great atmosphere and Chloe was amazingly helpful when choosing some whiskey. The menu is HUGE and she really knew her stuff to get me two of the most perfect drams I've had.

Super great experience and bartenders don't laugh when you butcher the name of a polish vodka

Staff were very rude. Told us we couldn't sit at a table because it was reserved (no sign) and then gave it to someone who just walked in off the street asking for a table for two.

Used to enjoy coming here with my girlfriend, enjoy the atmosphere, and get a cocktail. However, last time we went our cocktails were not very good and the atmosphere seemed off. Think it has changed hands. Might go back one day.

Hidden Polish vodka bar usually brimming with awesome Poles. Vodka menu is something to behold!

Impressive selection of flavored (mostly Polish) vodkas, they do serve other drinks as well though if you're not a fan of vodka. Nice atmosphere (tip to all men: check out their bathroom!). Nice staff.

Been here a few times, including for my 30th - there's a bit of the bar you can hire for no cost although you are sort of in the way of people bringing things out of the kitchen so not great for a massive group, but we managed ok with 15-20 people. Accessed through a side street, and up a set of stairs so not that accessible if you have mobility issues (although we did carry a wheelchair up if i recall). Food wise theres bar type grub, but the central point is ALL THE VODKA. So many flavours to try at reasonable prices.

If you can find this place then you deserve a drink. Make it one of the many vodkas on offer. Five flavoured vodkas for £12. Or something like that. I always drink too many and forget what I'm spending. Cool spot for taking visitors if you want to look like you know your way around the city. And usually everyone has a good time.. If they like vodka.

Great selection of Vodkas, and the fact you enter via Jackson's Close makes you really get into this "Secret" mood. Try Krupnik Vodka, my personal favourite.

Around 90 vodkas on the menu, reasonably priced, and with well-informed bar staff to help guide you through them (and recommend a mixer should you need one), this place is a proper hidden gem. Due to its tucked away location (it really is a bit of a secret, despite being sign-posted on the Royal Mile), it's never overly busy either.

Secret Arcade is one of those places that you need to find and then tell others about. A proper Polish style vodka bar with an outstanding selection of Vodkas that you can hammer back with abandon on a mad night out. It's got that lovely, slightly tacky ambience too that will ring bells with anyone who's ever been on a night out in Poland! Find it if you can.

The Secret Arcade is an excellent name, it's one of those places you accidentally stumble upon and then have no memory of where it was or how to find it again! Hidden on a wee lane in Edinburgh, you need to know it's there to find it! An excellent selection of vodkas, I particularly enjoyed the rose vodka, it was like drinking a turkish delight! It's small and cosy, but you'll feel like you've found a true hidden gem.
