Great bakery, but closing for staff breaks at lunch time seems like an unwise business decision considering it is a key sales period for a bakery. Perhaps consider doing between 11am to 12pm between the end of breakfast and the start of lunch?

PATHETIC MANAGEMENT!! Managers accept just eat. I order a breakfast roll at 11:05 and this shower of scum ignore the order so that it times out and the breakfast menu closes. Pathetic management of stock and availability accompanied by pathetic, lazy staff. Wee letter to HO on its way. Uneducated counter staff shouldn’t be allowed to play god with peoples dietary needs and deny food when it’s required.

Had a mince and onion pie this morning, it was overwhelmingly good.

Having the same sandwich every time I go in. Now it is more expensive, the quality dropped and they put less in it. Shame on you guys.

Always expensive however quality far superior to Greg's that wouldn't be difficult.

Dropped by for chicken pie and pizza. Was lovely. Nice staff

The nicest bakery , this side of Scotland,.food fresh, always tastes great, decent portion sizes and friendly helpful staff, males for loads of returning customers.

I've given up using this shop. There are sometimes four members of staff but only ever one serving, even if the queue is out the door. It's not rocket science, you work in a shop, if there's customers put down your clipboard, stop egg washing the pies and bloody serve the customers. Also, where do you get your staff? Care in the community? Half of them seem perplexed every time they try to use your till.

I like Baynes but the pasty shelf at the Easter road shop is often mostly empty when I go (unless it's early in the morning). Also, it pays to watch the staff when they're getting your order - asked for a Cheese Savoury in a brown roll (the guy confirmed that was what I wanted by repeating the order), I got home and found I'd been given an egg mayo in a white roll instead. Not the first time I've ended up with the wrong order.

I had the best egg sandwhich from this location. It was super cheap, fresh and delicious. If you need a quick snack while you are on the go deffs check out this store

Yum Yum’s with cream are phenomenal!

Poppped in this morning and ordered my usual.. it was a disgrace. Sausage on a roll. How can anyone make it so 1 bite and it went to the seagulls. When the buzzer goes please remove from oven. NEVER BE BACK AT THAT SHOP.

Tried a bridie there for the first time the other day and it was excellent - not overpowered by the onions. Would buy again, and I'm usually a pie person!

The Manager is moody never happy and very aggressive I previously complained to Baynes head office about this individual but he clearly has not changed his attitude the Baynes in Leith is so much better.

Super friendly staff, tasty nibbles and sweets. I appreciated they were not too sweet as well. The seasonal strawberry cupcake was a delight. Tried their steak bake with gravy. Prefer it hot and flaky but it was still yummy.

Best Scottish mornings rolls in edinburgh they keep the for perfect doughy for 24 hours and than makes morning rolls !!! Better try your own !!! Try sandwiches they are always with fresh stuff in !!!!!! 💯💯💯👌👌👌

Wonderful bakery and the food is always fresh and reasonably priced. Usually just come here for a mince pie.
