Had a genuinely lovely fishcake!! And perfectly cooked tasty chips! In a sturdy paper bag! .. which worked surprisingly well for eating on the go.

Delicious as usual! Only the best chip shop and delivery on time too!

Food was lovely but fish extremely overpriced £16 for fish on its own is too much. We thought it came with chips for that price. Fish wasn’t large.

Not eaten here since the new owners but wouldn’t again. Food was cold, curry sauce was tiny yet more expensive and like water so totally inedible. I think the chips would be nice if warm but also no salt or vinegar which doesn’t taste the same when you’re putting it on cold chips. Such a shame as always loved Seaways.

Haven't had food from here for ages. Glad I decided on this occasion. Very, very good quality fish & loads of chips. Plus good old sausages in batter, very nice to.

Delivery driver had me walking around my whole estate trying to find him, took him 20 minutes to find a house that has a door number on and signs that say what numbers are where. Food was lovely though.

Fish was lovely and delicious.After spending £14 on chips they were hard and was sent the crispy bits that you can’t eat.What a shame as it was almost a lovely meal.

I was surprised! Huge cod, regular chips was large too! Thoroughly enjoyed the meal & it was the best cod & chips I have had in this area. Comparable to & if not better than I have had up north. Will order again, can’t recommend enough. But I will say I rarely give reviews… I’m lazy. But I had to review this cod & chips.

I had a portion of scampi and regular chips. I also had some tartare sauce, ordered an extra couple of sauces, as I didn't know how much sauce I was going to get. The sauce was so creamy! The best one I have tried. The scampi and chips were awesome! Really lovely food, will definitely order from there again!

20 mins late, the driver drove past my house to make another delivery .. not sure what sense that makes at least deliver on the way if there is multiple drop offs and to top it off the food delivered was cold

Had skate and chips from seaways on Monday evening 26/02 , very surprised at how disappointed I was with it. This take away is normally the best in the area but it wasn’t. The skate was slightly undercooked and the chips were all stuck together. 😞

Normally everything is really nice from seaways, this time everything was terrible taste and cold not happy as had to chuck it all away a total waste of money!

Regular users of your delivery service Last 3 times we have been disappointed by the chips. They used to be fresh looking and crispy but recently have been a bit soggy and discolored. They tasted ok but didn’t look very appetizing. The fish has been fine and up to usual standard. Hope they’re better next time as your food and service is more expensive than most, so I think it should be top quality.

Fish is decent but the ability to put your own salt and vinegar on spoils the tast. Staff insist on doing it themselves and their idea of seasoning isn’t necessarily the same as their customers. Probably won’t go again until you can add your own salt and vinegar.

Best fish and chips in Hertfordshire in my opinion, the shop is newly refurbished (after an accident involving a car) and looks amazing, the food is on a whole different level to most other shops I've been in, really only rivaled by my absolute favourite fish and chip shop which is in Shanklin in the Isle of Wight, but that's really only because of the location, the quality of the food is on par with Seaways. Delicious! Highly Recommend!

My son treated me to fish and chips for my birthday. We ordered 2 large cod and chips one medium fish and 2 saveloys. Cost was £45.00. Shouldn’t have bothered. Medium cod wouldn’t have fed a toddler. Large cod was just greasy batter. Chips weren’t cooked. Dogs had the saveloys. Birthday spoilt lesson learnt. Don’t go to seaways. Where are the previous owners? Have they got another shop. I’d drive to find them. £45 is a rip off for rubbish food. Don’t go there.

Missing parts of my order and wouldn’t re deliver had to go pick it up even after I paid a delivery charge and service charge! Had to get someone to get the missing items from the shop whilst the rest of the food was getting cold !

When rang shop the lady that answered was the rudest person I have ever came across, she would not send correct order and would not refund. She told me not her problem!! £16 for sausage n batter and chips and a pie and large chips. worst food i’ve ever had from a chip shop tiny portion of chips which were a quarter of a bag of soggy greasy chips and loads of pointy hard cardboard chips in it , dry hard sausage n batter and a sunken pie. . i actually threw sausage and chips as i got a quarter of the way through it which was only a few . i’ll never come here again . just pure grease and dry food that’s been there for who knows how long and tiniest portion of chips. my friend had a large chips which were still smaller than all the others .i can still feel the grease on my mouth . errrrr rank food 🤮

I ordered a regular portion of cod and it was tiny, and I mean ridiculously small. The fish itself was overcooked and chewy. I have been a seaways customer for 15 years but I will be looking for a new fish and chips going forwards. Waste of money, don't order.

Good portions but very oily in comparison to some other places so review is 3 stars maybe closer to 4 but room for improvement. Like one big oily meal.

The best fish and chips in Cheshunt. The cod is a good size and has no skin on. The batter is nice and crispy.

Ordering online with just eat was not good. Said items in basket and then they were not and said large fish and chips unavailable when they were not. Very upsetting and had to call shop to make sure order ok. They as always were great. Wont be ordering on just eat app again though. 😐

First time I have ordered. Fish was tiny. Smallest fish I have ever had at a fish and chips place. Was over cooked and so, batter was very hard. Won't order again. Chips were fine though.

Usually our favourite fish shop, was left very disappointed yesterday when our dinner arrived. Food cooked within an inch of its life, mushy peas were like powder they, looked like that had been scraped from the bottom of the pan. First time we have been disappointed by Seaways but was a BIG disappointment!
