Owners are weird and can’t wait to close at 8pm Food is quite nice though but they need to stop being lazy and open a bit later

Always use this Chippy and have for many years. The food is always hot, excellent quality and always very tasty. The fish is really really good, the best I have tasted with no bones. The premises is always clean and tidy and the staff always pleasant and the get your order done quick time. Obviously at busy times you may have to wait but that is the norm for many places, but believe me it is worth the wait. We have never ever had a bad meal from here. I would highly recommend. Well done all.

I always use this restaurant as the food is lovely. My only issue is the owners wife who is a pain. She is constantly challenging the staff and even when we ordered curry sauce she told a staff member off for putting too much sauce in. You can see the staff are not happy when she is around. My suggestion cheer up, stop dictating or stay in the back and let the staff get on with it!!!

Nice chips, good fish and a good kebab too. Does exactly what it says on the tin! Great if you need lunch or fancy a treat for tea. Enjoy

they do wonderful fish and chips but with all good chippys you will have to stand in line at certain times but its worth the wait

We have take away cod and chips from Sea Wave now and then. Shop is always bustling. Always, consistent. Great food. Freshly cooked. Clean environment. Friendly, polite staff. We always use them on Good Friday and had cod and chips last weekend. They also do pies and kebabs - sausages and scallops. No battered chips but the ones they sell are fresh, well cooked, hot and tasty. The cod is the best we have tried.

This is definitely the best chippy in the area. The chips are really nice and the fish is always nicely cooked. I sometimes have the kebab meat special with chips and salad and it has always been tasty. Friendly staff too 😀

Mediocre chippy, friendly staff and small amount of parking available in the the service road, average fare.

Always use this chip shop when I'm at work. Polite and friendly staff and food always hot and spot on. A lot better than the "famous" one nearby.

last monday the service I received was beautiful, the girl who served me had red hair and was quite small. I am very impressed with the speicals she gave to me they was very filling and I will 100% be returning again. the customer service was honestly fab! and the boss was so kind and got me what I asked for. parking outside was an advantage. I am so so happy I have made a good friend and it felt like the staff actually cared about me. I didn't feel like a burden.

Without a doubt the best fish & chip shop for miles around. Visit there often and Seawave never fails to satisfy

Lovely clean shop,well stocked,very nice man who served me.Had specials that were very tasty,didn"t expect them to be so plentiful.Would recommend this shop.Bonus parking right outside.

I Popped in one Evening for some Chips & a Chicken & Mushroom Pie & The Food was very Average & Also the Service was Very Average Too!.

After you have been here you wont want to go anywhere else! The shop is always clean and well stocked, the staff are always on the ball and friendly to boot, Georgie is a firm fave there, and the boss is always happy to ask how you are. The fish is always well cooked and in large flaky pieces, the batter is always crisp. The kebabs are second to none here and the mixed meat special is a must. The doner is moist and holds together well. The coating on the Chicken kebab is amazing and the portion sizes are great for the price. The chips are always red hot and freshly cooked. Have never ever had a bad meal here and its our go to place for the family!

Excelente pescado fresco, con un montón de patatas fritas. Impecable. Muy concurrido y siempre muy amable. Altamente recomendado. Mejor en la vieja colina.

He estado utilizando Mar Ola por un par de años. El servicio siempre es agradable, y la comida es siempre delicioso. Lo único que no entiendo es que en lugar de una persona tome y completar un pedido, todo el mundo parece jugar una parte en cada orden, que hace lento el servicio. Sólo una queja, no cabe duda de que no es suficiente para suponer un vez que vuelve otra vez.
