The food was poor, the cod I had was grey, and the other meal was not warm enough. The Pepsi was like water and a door was left open and made the restaurant too cold.

We stayed at the Hilton and had dinner on 1st night for my birthday. On reception we were told the restaurant was fully booked, we said we didn’t mind earlier, but no it was booked. I wasn’t happy as we always have the restaurant on our first night when we come. Anyway, I said I still wasn’t happy and they made a table up in the bar, with tablecloths and napkins. It was nice but a little odd as the rest of the people had normal wooden tables. However still nice and they made the effort. We realised, it wasn’t just a general fully booked restaurant, it was an actual company function. Had I known, I probably wouldn’t have been so disappointed. I just felt they’d overbooked. Anyway the food was really good, but the best was the waiter, Ashley. He was incredible, he couldn’t do enough for us. He was so helpful with my allergy, but also he had a lovely warm personality. And very efficient, Thank you.

Hilton you should be proud of your hard working staff. Each and every one from the guy on reception who was so welcoming, the drinks order guy who was so happy to serve and the other waiter who brought us a big jug of water - all deserve credit. But Hilton you should be embarrassed with the lack of choice on offer, where was the Caesar salad , cherry tomatoes, grated carrot, sliced red and white onions, beetroot, balsamic roasted Mediterranean vegetable salad, caprese salad and compound salads as advertised? Why did the charcuterie board not have the platter seafood or smoked fish , absolutely nothing for the non meat eater. Where was the cheese plate, chutney, grapes and biscuits you promised?.You left my party of 4 so disappointed, as regulars of Hilton around the world we expected more but we got short changed. It's the last time we book until we hear things have changed.

Attended for our Christmas party. Food was barely warm, the smallest Christmas meal I've ever been presented with. We had to send back food because it was covered with hairs. Waiting staff were nice enough but not interested and no member of management came to see us despite our complaints. Dance floor tiny for the amount of people packed into the room. Only 2 bar staff and drinks highly priced. Would never go again. Awful!

My boyfriend and I, decided last minute to go for dinner at the Hilton. We live locally and it was our 5 year anniversary. Luckily we were going away the next week and this meal was a spur of the moment idea and not solely for our celebration. I have to say that the service was fantastic and my rating is purely based on the food served. Not the hotel facilities or staff. The menu selection was absolutely poor. Something I would expect from a brewers fayre, except I was paying £20 minimum per plate... I ordered seabass which was originally served with chips. When it arrived it was greasy, tasteless and had obviously just been defrosted. My partner ordered a mixed grill, the steak was undercooked. The chorizo sausage was not genuine and was identical to the processed chorizo from Harvester. My partner having worked at the harvester a few years back, we suspect that the food is the same supplier as Harvester... I'm not going to name drop them. All in all, for the money you pay to eat here. We were totally gob smacked at how they are getting away with the poor quality in relation to prices. What a total food mess. All the tables were placed by the restaurant door as to make the place look busy. We found this a tad irritating being bunched next to tables for no reason. We had a fab waiter, Jack. He really took care of us and cannot fault how he dealt with our complaints. We refused any discount as that wasn't our intention. We were just totally shocked and they needed to hear feedback. Jack was very sympathetic and professional and did what he could to take care of the situation. We left early after two main courses and got waffles from burger king drive through... That sums it up in a nutshell.

We regularly have a breakfast meeting here at the Dartford Bridge Hilton as it is a half way house for us and our customer. The hotel is tired and we noticed that today it is undergoing some refurbishment - hopefully this will bring it back up to standard. For £10.00 a head the breakfast for a meeting is pretty good value but the service has been hit and miss for months. The buffet is never replenished very quickly and the pastries are always empty. I am afraid that this just does not come up to standard and hasn't done for months - but we keep returning as it is convenient and we live in hope!

We dined at this resturaunt for breakfast and dinner, whilst staying at the Hilton. They had a buffet option for dinner. Given the quantity they had to prepare, the quality of the food was excellent. The taste delicious and the staff were really nice and attentive to their guests. We had breakfast in the same resturant, which also had a buffet. For breakfast they had a large range of fruit, nuts, cereals, pastries and a hot buffet, for those who like a full English breakfast. What was really impressive, was their pancake machine, which churned out fresh pancakes from a conveyer belt onto your plate. Great for kids and adults too. The resturant staff at breakfast, were so lovely and very accomodating and the chef made me a special omelette too. I would definitely visit this resturaunt again, if in the area.

Very disappointing meal at the Hilton Dartford Bridge. This was a gift for my husband and myself from our daughter/stepdaughter as a thank you on her wedding day. We were looking forward to a 3 course meal which turned out to be help yourself buffet! The only choice was Chinese food! which was completely tasteless, the starter was a choice of two cold meats and salad or soup, although the desserts were good. We didn't complain at the time to avoid upset but wished we had. We came away feeling very disappointed.

My family & I were very much looking forward to our Xmas lunch on Christmas Day which at £59.99 wasn't great value for a help yourself buffet! However the whole experience was very poor! After being seated at our table no one came over to take a drinks order we waited for over 10 minutes! It was left to myself to try & attract the attention of a passing waiter which wasn't easy in itself but finally I managed to order our Drinks, so we waited & waited for at least another 10 mins & still no drinks at which point I had to go & ask if we had been forgotten only to be told no they hadn't they were in there way ! So not a great start, we then went up to the buffet to collect our starters there was a good selection & we enjoyed this & on reflection this was the only good part about the lunch! The lunch was a major disappointment the meat was turkey & pork the both of them tasted the same & was very bland, the selection of veg was very limited with Brussels & carrots & swede cut in squares & cooked to death! After fishing around underneath this mound of mush there were some tiny pieces of maybe parsnips & I wasn't quite sure whether they were actually meant to be there or had just become roasted as they were at the bottom of the hot plate! So on to the main part of every roast dinner & probably what most people enjoy the most the Roast Potatoes! Or lack of them there was a few people gathered at the end of the hot plate they said they were waiting for the roast potatoes to be brought out ! They said the had already refused one lot of potatoes which were brought out & had been tried to be passed off as roast potatoes but the were in fact new potatoes with skins on ! So after about a 5 minute wait & by this time my food on my plate was getting cold the second lot of potatoes came out well they were certainly not traditional roast potatoes they looked like the were jacket potatoes cut in 4 with there skins on & had been badly attempted to be roasted! Not good enough at all !! It appeared they had run out of roast potatoes which is totally unacceptable especially when this meal was booked it October !! How can u get the numbers wrong ! Eventually I sat down to eat the whole plate of food tasted completely tasteless & all the same the gravy was also tasteless with a strange flavour & I actually couldn't finish it & I wasn't the only person in our party that said this ! So time for desert I was looking forward to the Christmas pudding which was on the Xmas menu ! So I go up to desserts, there is cheescake, trifle fruit chocolate cake not a bad selection but no Christmas pudding insight so I spoke to a staff member & asked why there wasn't any Xmas pudding ! After all this is an Xmas lunch ! Myself & this other diner just looked at each other in disbelief! When the waiter came back he said sorry no Xmas pudding ! Why is there I said he just looked at me & shrugged his shoulders at which point I chose something else & gave up after all I didn't want anymore hassle on Christmas Day ! We also had coffee after Lunch & had to hunt the sugar down it was just one thing after the other All in all the whole meal was a massive disappointment & of very bad standard we actually would have been better of at the £6.99 Toby Carvery where the food there is 100% better & a fraction of the cost We will never return to eat at the Hilton Dartford Bridge again !!

I stay often in the hotel and eat in the restaurant , the evening buffet is average and the salad selection has got poorer as time has gone on . The breakfast though is always good , the staff are always very polite and attentive. The moan though is that they tell people the breakfast starts at 6:30 and yet the restaurant is never ready on time. This morning there was no bacon, no beans, no tomato sauce out on time . I had to go back for bits every few minutes until the full breakfast was out . Why state open from 6 30 if you can't be ready? As a business traveller I need to eat and get on the road as quickly as I can but can't get breakfast on time!!!

In the last 10 years I have stayed here a number of times and always found the Breakfast to be nice and good value. This time we had dinner on the Saturday evening, the restaurant was not very busy and we choose the £15 fixed menu which was extremely good and excellent value. The staff were very obliging and helpful, and all in all I was very pleasantly surprised in what we were given re what I expected.

After 3 attemps to book a table at the seasons resturant for wifes surprise 50th birthday and guests coming from far away. We had over a hour wait for main meal .Resturant was not busy but had to go to reception and complain about the long wait. When our food arrived, the mushrooms were burnt to a crisp, a side of chips was missing and a member of our party asked for some ketchup. we were half way through the meal before these turned up.After that did not see a waiter, they did not ask if we wanted any drinks or deserts or to even ask if every thing was ok . One guest had to go and get a bottle of wine from the bar, the other a beer . We even cleared the plates to one end of the table . Words cannot discribe how my party of 15 felt. In the end, we all got up and walked out . "oh" and what a surprise when walking out into the bar we finely get some attention . After a few choice words they did offer 25% discount. . please please give this resturant a miss in the evening . If you stay here , the breakfast could not be more different. The service was fantastic and breakfast buffet great.

A chain hotel in the middle of nowhere, difficult to expect anything really good but it really wasn't bad. Service was very good, friendly and attentive. My goat's cheese etc salad tasted fine, although the cheese was a bit too much congealed mass, and my sea bass was perfectly good. Unfortunately by colleagues duck was overcooked but that was swiftly corrected on the bill.Tripadvisor makes it difficult to rate a place like this. It is not 'very good' but it's really a bit better than average.

I went to a Christmas party at the hotel last night, with 9 members of my family.I cannot stress strongly enough how absolutely awful it was, and am still shaking with anger at how ripped off we were. I genuinely can't thing of a single good thing to say about it.Firstly the party was held in was dingy, dated, dreary and poorly lit room, with not one single decoration anywhere..(see photo). The tables surround a fairly small dance floor with a disco set up.. again, no sign of Christmas on or around the equipment. We had the world's cheapest crackers on the table and a couple of paper streamers strewn in between the plates, and that was the extent of the effort they had made. The ecoustics in the room were terrible so even before the disco started it was very difficult to hear conversation. There were a lot of waiters but unbelievably no bar service. This meant that you had to get your own drinks from the bar (even wine), during the meal, resulting in my sister missing her starter entirely because of how slow the bar service was. The house wine was very average and (wait for it) costs £27 a bottle for the rosé! It wasn't very cold, and no coolers or ice buckets were provided.Which brings me onto the food. Bearing in mind we paid around £30 a head for this meal, and had to make our menu choices back in October, the service was a complete shambles. Hoardes of waiters appeared with tray fulls of one type of starter and started yelling 'who ordered the soup?' at the tables. (To be honest half of us couldn't remember what we'd ordered it was so long ago.) No menus were provided as memory joggers on the night. My starter was salmon (paté or mousse ?) not sure but it was vile. I've never tried cat food but that is how I imagine it would taste. It was served with half a cherry tomato, a single tasteless frozen prawn, a one inch square (I measured it) of smoked salmon, and a few undressed salad leaves. Those who had the soup were similarly unimpressed. When the waiter cleared my untouched plate, I told him that the starter was truly disgusting and he actually laughed in my face.I wasn't holding out any hope of things improving but the main course was not quite as bad. A lump of slightly overcooked lamb with gratin potatoes and some mushy root vegetable dice. It was edible, that is all I will say. Those who had the turkey said it was tasteless and the veggies were frozen and revolting. Pudding however was the low-light of the meal... Christmas pudding (mercifully tiny, so that it was completely covered by a single scoop of ice cream) but so tough and chewy, I picked mine up on a fork and bashed the plate with it. I collared the manager and gave him both barrells, I waived the solid block of pudding in his face and asked him whether he'd ever tried the food. He admitted he hadn't.. (he's got more sense) He promised the Customer Service Manager would contact me today but he scuttled off without taking any contact details. Meanwhile my daughter went to the bar and complained there, where she was given some free wine. Too little too late. The barman told her that only the lamb is cooked on site, everything else is bought in. Says it all really. There followed a disco which a lot of people appeared to enjoy but I'd got so livid at how we'd all been treated I wasn't in the mood and I left. It seems that Christmas gives places like this carte-blanche to serve up utter rubbish at exhorbitant prices. It's lazy, it's disrespectful and it's downright dishonest. There must have been 200 or so people in that room each paying nigh-on £30 a head .. that's £6000 a night they're making.. I could have fed them all properly for a tenth of that price, and put up a few decorations to make the place look a bit festive. The bar prices are nothing short of scandalous. If I can deter even one group of people from booking their Christmas party at this rip-off venue, I'll feel that the time spent writing this review has been worthwhile. Take my honest advice, go elsewhere, or get completely mugged off. You have been warned.

Excellent fresh food with a great choice as always, attentive staff (Sinan) nothing ever too much trouble. The buffet offers a variety, children eat for free. There is always a choice of soups, extensive choice of salad with various fish, ham etc. choice of 3 mains with at least one vegetarian option. (Vegetables) Always a choice of desserts for that sweet something to complete your meal. So with young children there's always something for little ones too.

The buffet dinner was disappointing, with a limited choice of cooked food (fish cakes, pork chops or goulash) and a tired and wilted looking salad selection. My son's food from the Kid's menu was a bland pasta dish that had been nuked in the microwave! Breakfast was great however with a good, fresh choice of both hot and cold dishes. 8 adults and 6 children Christmas lunch Dec 2010.This was our 4th or 5th visit for Christmas lunch, so we thought we knew what to expect...a lovely meal with great service! How wrong we were!!We were told when booking that we were in for a treat this year as the restaurant was under new management.I'll try to keep this short, but in general the service was awful, we waited ages for plates to be cleared after each course, wine was just plonked at the end of the table. The salt and pepper grinders were broken and we were told they didn't have any others. We had to ask for plates to be replenished at the carvery. The cheese looked very sorry for itself and we had to ask for new cheeses to be put out. My father and I had the steak from the carvery and it was so tough you couldn't cut through it.Father Christmas is of course a big highlight of the afternoon for the children, but he was dire! He couldn't speak English very well and had a huge pair of dirty trainers on, he didn't enage the children, just handed them a present as he passed by. We asked for our coffee and mince pies to served in the hotel lounge and were told that there was a charge for coffee and mince pies, I then had to draw the maitre D's attention to the menu where it clearly stated that coffee and mince pies were included in the price we had paid.We didn't complain at the time, as we were with my parents who had paid for this as a treat for us and we didn't want to spoil an already disappointing lunch.I complained throughout January, various emails and telephone calls later we were offered a 10% refund, considering we paid £800+ for this lunch I said that I was insulted by this offer...and I never heard from them again despite various calls/emails.We will not be going here again for Christmas lunch, which is a shame because past years have been exceptional.
