A group of residents of Briar Bank Park today had "their" Christmas Lunch. Despite being rather short of staff, the ladies did an amazing job. Nothing was too much trouble, the tables were all laid out with pretty decorations. The food was amazing, a proper Christmas lunch with all of the trimmings, followed by a delicious desert, then mince pies and tea/coffee. Thankyou on behalf of Briar Bank coffee morning group.

Had to queue 10 minutes with my food to pay .. was cold when we sat down. Lovely friendly place but one person serving food and one on the drinks and till. Just such short staffed . This is always the case this year.

Visited the restaurant, staff were very friendly and most helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Food was well presented and wholesome. Helpings were good and hot, but there was not enough staff on duty. One lady dishing up the food and one serving teas and coffees. Lots of people waiting to be served, again not enough staff. Seem to be over staffed in the garden centre and not enough in the restaurant.

Great range of garden, home goods and giftware. Currently in seasonal transition so open spaces being organised. We opted for lunch. The choice of hot cooked food was great, piping hot food on display and very helpful staff. Generous portions well presented. The food very reasonably priced. It was clear that many customers are regulars as many of the staff addressed the customers by name. We shall return to see the new seasonal displays and will certainly be stopping for lunch. The steak pie was fabulous!

I often visit Seasons in Wixams. It's a lovely little garden centre, with not only plants, trees etc, but lots of very nice, decently priced gifts. The food is very good and not expensive. The staff are very nice too.

Some staff at this branch are delightful but, in this Covid period some staff are being just obnoxious. On occasions staff have been very rude and unwelcoming. Real jobsworths, and most unhelpful. Today was one of those days. I wonder if its because the management treat them badly, and they are just passing it down the line? - Or is it that staff who are always moody and difficult, feel they have an excuse to be vindictive with others? I wonder what other people think? Not sure if I'll go back after my dreadful experience this weekend. Such a shame as it could have become my local, regular haunt. Not wishing to subject myself to such rudeness, I will be driving straight past from now on.

I needed to purchase a special 70th birthday gift for my sister who lives in a nearby Retirement Village to this Garden Centre. I had previously looked at the Website and knew exactly what I wanted to buy. I had also checked on delivery costs etc. I received no help whatsoever from the staff. I explained exactly what I wanted to buy, where I needed the item to be delivered and on a date which suited both myself and the Garden Centre. I was prepared to accept that I might not be able to have the delivery made on the actual date of my sister's birthday. My telephone call to this Graden Centre involved a member of staff checking on availability and price of the product. I overheard staff arguing about who was going to go and find this information for me. After listening to this the staff suddenly hung up on me !!! Absolutely disgraceful !!

In a pleasant environment with ample distractions, really good food, well served, permanent caring staff, and excellent covid awareness. Generous distancing, correct procedures. Very good prices, less than £20 for 4 meals with drinks. Smashing naughty breakfast too. Recommended, use frequently by local people.

Poorly run by incompetent children that are badly managed. Used to be a brilliant cafe/ garden centre but is now a shadow of what it was. Clearly only staying open due to loyal customers gullibility and putting up with the poorer and poorer service. If it’s not easy they are not interested. Good service and brain cells clearly require a higher wage, it’s painful it really is.

Coffee is from a Doue Egberts machine and can be variable but cappachino is OK. Staff are very kind and cheerful.

Maybe you need to get butcher sausages may I suggest steve at barton le clay he is only down the road from you.

Have been here a few times in the past and it’s been reasonable with a fairly good cup of coffee. Called in today for coffee with the family, and it was really poor. The coffee was terrible, arrived immediately on my tray straight out of a push button machine, only one size choice for all. The cakes and slices were all in a very cold chiller. Chocolate brownie very hard and chewy due to being too cold, plus a very very dry cheese scone ... not good, won’t be visiting again.

I cannot fault the lovely staff behind the carvery counter, but when we started to eat, both my fathers and my food was stone cold. I went to the till and told the staff to which I was told," there's a microwave there" !! Not quite the point. But I stood in the queue to reheat my meal along with quite a few people. Not quite what I expected for £7.95 a plate.

Great selection of plants, both traditional and more exotic. All the plants were healthy and well cared for, competitive prices too. The centre as a whole is well maintained and the staff very friendly. We picked up a few plants and will definitely pop back in the future. There is a little play area for children outside. It has a slide and a couple of swings. It was a good size for my 8 year old and younger children were using it too. On this trip to the cafe (our first) the service was very slow. We were queuing so long to pay that the cooked food was cold by the time we could eat, and we had to chase up one meal as everyone else had almost finished eating! That said, the food was really tasty and good value, so we may give it another try when we visit the garden centre again. It's just a shame that the service let them down on this visit.

Have visited Seasons for 30 years as we only live 5 mins away! However only in the last few years have chosen to eat there, both weekday snack lunches but in the main, for tea and cake! The staff are lovely especially Chrissie who always remembers us! A good selection of cakes, scones etc but sometimes they are a little dry because they are left uncovered in the cake section with just the pull down cover. Suggest cake tins or at least food wrap. The main meals are a good size but not huge (thankfully) well cooked and I’m told the Sunday roast is also good. The soup however could be a slightly bigger portion and a great deal hotter, although there is a microwave at hand. Now to the garden centre. Pretty extensive and well maintained. There is also an excellent DIY department, pet section and pet grooming available. All in all a little ‘find’. I would rather have given the rating as Good but that’s not an option and it’s definitely better than an average

A traditional garden centre with a brilliant cafe. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Good quality plants and garden supplies at very competitive prices. In the cafe the food is cooked to order and good quality. I take my Mum and children quite frequently to have a look around and have lunch. The children love the play area and visiting the rabbits, fish and birds at the rear of the store. They cater extremely well for children in the cafe.

Visit the garden centre regularly and it's great. Food and service did seem to improve since last review in May, however, this week was not too good. Had to ask for another cup as it was very dirty. Had to ask for glasses for cold drinks. Children's chicken nugget were over cooked, hard and dark. Had lamb hotpot, but it was a meagre portion of mince topped with potatoes in a giant Yorkshire. Actually given a side portion of peas as there were so few vegetables in the hot pot. Staff are always brilliant but food not good, in addition meals came at different times. Wasn't busy so can't understand why. Such a shame could be fantastic.

There was quite a long wait but they were very busy but we didn't mind. My husband had turkey and beef and I had just the beef. The veg were carrots, mash, cabbage and peas and broccoli and cauliflower in a cheese sauce, roast potatoes and gravy. Must say it was excellent especially at £6.95 each. All the veg was fresh too which was great. Will we go again? You bet we will and tell others too.

I think this place is great, OK, it's not the most amazing food you'll ever eat, but with kids in tow (I have 3) it's perfect. The staff are always friendly and helpful, it's not overpriced, there's tons of space to spread out at the table, get your pushchair round, and fit highchairs too. They should perhaps have a corner for some toys and books and it would be great if you could get to the toilets without having to leave through the front door of the building, but I wouldn't go back as often as I do if I didn't think it was a good place to go with the kids.

Went for lunch a few weeks ago and no complaints. However, our second visit this week was a nightmare. Firstly the wrong meals were brought out. It was obvious the baked beans had been scraped off the plate and peas added. Two meals were brought out at least 5 minutes before the third and the childrens meals took even longer. Then the gravy was brought in a pyrex jug and dumped on the table for us to pour, then taken away. The meals were not very hot. Ordered two teas and got enough milk for one cup, there was not enough tea in the pot to fill two cups. (went back to ask for more milk and water - the pot was then filled to the top making the tea like hot water). The girl that took out order got everything right, the waitress and lad making the tea and on the till, seemed they didn't want to be there. It wasn't even busy so I cannot understand why the service was so bad. It will be a very long time before we return to eat there

A restaurant in a garden centre. Food and service were just fine. A good range of food and drinks but essentially not that great. I'll be generous and say reasonable value for money for what was offered. It was February when we visited, and there were perhaps 25 other customers, The toilets are outside in cold-unheated outhouses. The single male cubicle floor was awash with muddy water (there were also two urinals). No coat hooks, no soap, and possible the most useless hand drier I've ever come across. Acceptable for a place with a few tables maybe but this establishment boasts more than 200 covers?

Oh Dear, another Pub totally unaware of the current disability regulations. There isn't a ramp, there are even any same level flooring, upon enquiring with one of the staff regarding access to the premises, by one in a wheelchair, we were curtly reminded that this was a traditional Public House, who don#t cater for those with mobility issues! What a disappointment - we went to the pumpkin patch with 3 grandchildren. The activities there were not well maintained, on the Mini Tractor Trail the tractors would not move due to being placed on damp lumpy grass, the Spooky Mini Golf had definitely seen better days. We paid an extra £5.99 per child for Chocolate Apple Dunkin when booking online which consisted of a very small apple on a stick which was then dipped in chocolate and sprinkles

Possibly the best kebab I’ve ever had. Instead of serving in a standard pita they hand make a naan and cook in front of you which tastes superb, plus the amount of meat and salad added is both sizeable yet appropriate. There’s a few tables for dining in which were clean and the staff were friendly enough. This will be my kebab place of choice from now on.
