Seaside Kebab in Brighton and Hove

Honestly don't eat here. Got really bad food poisoning which really effected me, had to take it off work due to eating here. Even the staff didn't seem to care when I was being served. Not again.

met so many lovely seagulls here, the food hits the spot after a night out at chalk, beware of seagulls, they will steal ur 6 piece nugget meal without ANY REMORSE.

Ordered chicken shawarma kebab with uber app. Order arrived very fast but food was floating in oil , only traces of salad and cucumber which were cooked, meat wasn't refried with only super small amount of seasoning . Not recommended

I ordered a regular chicken doner wrap with salad I paid £8 . When I entered the store, I could see that chicken and lamb hanging was put in there just a few minutes ago, As you can make sure that it is frozen and uncooked merely by just looking at it. So I checked with person, he said he has another meat which is cooked. It’s not gonna be that one, obviously because it’s not ready yet. I believed him and I took a seat while he made my wrap and I took it away. Once I got home and I began to eat it, I sensed that he has bagged the uncooked meat and has clearly lied to me. To make a sale, he crossed the limits of humanity. This is highly unethical.

If I could I wouldn’t give them even one star, did order through delivery Shia kebab and chips, as soon I opened up the bag was very bad smell was coming out, I did take a bite and meat was raw inside, no taste or flavor, I am pretty much sure that meat was out of day for long time but ppl who works there probably do not follow any of the food standards at all. Chips was tasted like plastic, no salt or vinegar but I am sure if it would be it’s not going to change a taste because in general they were bad. For all that I pay £16.17 and I want my money back, this is just ridiculous. This place shouldn’t be selling food like that at all.

So I order chips with cheese and chicken they charge me 12£. If you gonna charge me 7.5£ extra for the meat because chips with cheese is 4.5£ it must worth the extra 7.5£. But it doesn't...Just disappointment of a regular customer.

Food was amazing. We bought lamb shish with rice, chicken and lamb mix doner with rice, and chicken burger with fries. All the dishes were served with choice of salads and sauces. Dine in area was clean. At least 12 people can eat inside with option of 2 or 3 people per table. Very near to the beach and shop is in the middle of East and West wings of Queen Hotel. The food is halal. The price of food is very reasonable. Must recommend to try the food.

They were not to standards, the hygiene is very bad. They touch your food with your hands after handling machines and other things. The guy at the counter always shouts at you even if you are just 1 meter away. And they also give the wrong order. The Kebab, I mean it was not good at all, it was better than nothing but the meat didn't even feel like meat.

In my opinion, their falafel wraps are lacking in flavour. Also quite overpriced compared to other kebab shops in Brighton. It’s heartbreaking treating yourself to some food after a night out and it’s not yummy. 😢

Cant fault the speed of the service, 5 stars for that. Food wise 1 star. Fries was flashed fried and was in the frier for 1 minute, they was so undercooked and soggy it was unreal, They got binned. The burger to say it was cooked fresh just didn't taste it. The meat tasted really cheap and it just tasted bland with a hint of char. It was cooked but would get far better from a burger van charging a lot less than here. I paid 7.50 and for something that wasnt enjoyed. 3.50/4.50 and you'd get the same from a snap van that tastes a lot nicer.

The worst kebab I e ever had. The meat was dry and tasted old, I stopped eating it as I'm a chef and felt that I was about to be very ill. I didn't take it back as the guy serving just chucked a bit of meat in a wrap with a small amount of sauce and mayo and hardly any salad even though I asked for all the salad. New it wasn't going to be good so threw it in my hotel bin and walked around to another kebab shop. Don't use this place. Disgraceful kebab

I ordered 2 piece fried chicken with chips 2/3/2023. Just one bite of the chicken name me sick...it was soft and sappy tasted off. Nothing about it tasted fried...plus the chicken and chips were drowned in Ketch up. Awful cooking of the chicken.

I've been ordering takeaway from Seaside Kebab quite a few times and every time the food got delivered fast, nicely packaged, piping hot and tasting great! This is my personal experience, the guys at the Seaside Kebab have been consistent in providing good quality food at very late hours of the night. Keep it up guys, I'll keep ordering from you! 😋🙏

I ordered a medium lamb kebab wrap and was told this would be £7.50, once I checked my account, I was charged £9.50! Watch out they are scamming people after a night out, thinking you are too drunk to realise!

Like yeah it was good but we spent 10 minutes scraping mayo off when we said specifically we didnt want mayo!!!! Lovely aside from that❤️

This is the first time ive been bothered to leave a review and its not a good one. I got a large mixed donner £8.50 the meat is rank, tasted stale and old and crumbly. It was also just thrown in a wrap instead of pitta. The salad choice wasnt great either. Save your money, get something decent.

Very dry and very bad tasteless food… money gone down the drain… my daughter and I had to bin it and ordered something else in the hotel we were booked in. Their doner kebab was like shredded chicken, the lamb shish was so dry, bland and hard …. What they claim to be naan bread was not but tortillas…Please improve!!!! 🥵🥵🥵

I had the worst experience ever in this place. We went in n wanted to order chicken which is clearly there but the manager said he doesnt have n forced us to order kebab which we clearly not interested in. But we paid for 2 portion anyway. After serving a kebab he said i can hv another one in chicken??? Then we waited for the food but his frier broken n he was struggling to serve the second portion of food. After we was waiting for almost 20mins all of sudden he gave our money back?? N said he not servicing us??? His attitude is horrible toward customer n treating us like hungry pig? We just visiting brington for the night but this experience ruined it. Never coming back n definitely one of well known food shop is just a fake reputation. Worst experience ever

Ridiculously overpriced take advantage after you come from a club charge 12 pound for kebab and chips and a chicken burger.

the food was dry and made me very sick, and the manager purposely overcharged me and my two friends. we ordered kebabs and chips and paid for both items and the workers handed us our kebabs. we asked for our chips bc the workers seemingly "forgot" to give them to us, but the manager claimed he'd only charged us for the kebabs which wasnt true. i fell for it and paid for the chips a second time. i checked my card transactions later and saw we indeed were overcharged. this happened to the person in front of us as well. seems like they purposely prey on uni students who are coming home from a night out. such a horrible thing to do. if you decide to go, pay close attention to what youre being charged for.

I really apologise for the bad review, the employee was fine, it's just that I did not like the food, might be better at other times.

Came by from Epsom for a visit to Brighton and bought a cheeseburger and mix Doner kebab from Seaside kebab. The place is a little shabby, I’m not gonna lie. They could do with a flooring change because the current one looks a little messy. I was reluctant about the food but was pleasantly surprised when I ate it. The burger was so meaty and cheesy, it hit the right spot. My husband practically inhaled his doner mix, and he’s a picky eater. Give this place a change if you ever come by.

Absolutely stunning - great food, great staff, great vibes, great fun all round. Considering coming back to Brighton just to return to this gorgeous establishment. 10/10

I wish I came to see the reviews first before I made the order. Unfortunately, I didn’t. The meat was so dry my dog didn't even look at it! First thing I know they're using one of the very very cheap meat rolls. After eating it, I was being sick and this morning a major dry mouth from it (maybe too much MSG or chemical) and chronic stomach pain, I’m sitting on the toilet now writing this review, leaving some evidence before I die of food poisoning. If you want to die from kebab then this is your place, otherwise, avoid at all cost!

The only reason I'm giving 1 star is due to the fact that it has no option to give none!! Absolutely terrible food!! Me and my partner came to Brighton for a break away from London and ended up with food poisoning after eating kebabs from here!! It was so bad that even after just an hour of eating it, we had to get a taxi back to our apartment, ruining our day out due to my partner violently vomiting and we are still in bed getting over it!!! When I feel better and before I make my way back to London, I will be going to get a full refund and taking it further!!! Would not recommend this place at all!!!

Ok, Chips were the only good thing about my order crispy and nice and soft on the inside. All of the kebabs for me and my freind were luke warm and my chicken kebab was literally cold in the middle, we also all asked for no salad but they seemed to ignore that. All together I called the restaurant up and he did seem quite apologetic however this wasnt enough, the meal for all of us was poor and it was a bad ending to our night. I would not reccomend eating here.

After a night out a kebab sounds like a good idea, stumbled along this place, ordered the food and honestly you know the food is bad when it tastes bad even after drinking. Cheesy chips tasted like pure plastic, chips were not fried properly and chicken looked a little raw and tasted off. Couldn't even eat any of it, £9 out of pocket for food that was uneatable. Really don't recommend here, save the money, go anywhere but here.

This is one of the kebab shops next to Jury's Inn and close to the pier. It's not very modern but still sell a range of items. From swarma to chicken shish, burger, fish etc. The foods are halal. It is quite closest if you are living close to the pier. The food is freshly made infront of you. The food is quite tasty as well. Unfortunately there is no parking around the area. Otherwise like the food, it's halal as well and recommend it.
