Seaside Cafe in Eastbourne

Lovely little cafe, excellent service, lovely hot home cooked food, very generous portions and great value for money. Recommend for a good value for money breakfast or lunch.

Visiting family for Christmas and fancied a proper full English breakfast. Popped into this little cafe Saturday late morning and was not disappointed. Greeted with a smile and friendly hello, given menus to choose food and food order taken at table. Food was delivered quickly, was hot and very tasty. Cafe is very clean and very well priced. Hubby commented on how much better it was than the breakfast he'd recently had at another cafe in Heathfield and how it was much cheaper. Next time we are in Eastbourne and fancy some proper cafe food and service this is where we will be going. Highly recommend

Menu said burger had halloumi in it. No halloumi was in the burger.

We ordered delivery, we waited over 2 and a half hours for our food. When we rung the lady was so rude. She told us it was on its way before we even finished talking. Then it was still another hour and we were only 10 minutes away. The food was stone cold, something I wouldn’t even feed my dog, it was completely inedible. The boxes were squashed and soaking wet. Would never use them again!

When entering was approached by a very happy and professional person, he made us feel welcome and gave a fantastic service, the food was cooked to a great standard with excellent portion control, I would certainly recommend this place again and will be coming back thank you for a lovely breakfast with my friends. im awaiting a full refund after i spoke to the restaurant, because i received food that was burnt and not even what i ordered. the restaurant were supposed to contact just eat to refund me in full.

Great food, friendly and spotlessly clean. Have eaten at the Seaside Cafe on several occasions and the food has always been really good. Their omelette is delicious and the breakfasts cooked very well and a good size. The owners always greet you and are friendly and attentive. And last but not least the place is very clean.

Not only I have received the wrong item (chicken tikka instead of italian panini), but there was also a string of hair! They should have contacted me if they didn’t have what I ordered instead of replacing my item with something that I don’t like. And it’s the 3rd time this happened, luckily Uber Eats refunded me and I will absolutely not order from them anymore.

Very very good cafe! Reasonable price very clean and lovely friendly staff, went at a very busy time and only had to wait 10 minutes for my food! Highly recommend

Food is absolutely vile, inedible. For £6 I got a slice of soggy bread with 4 chunks of brown avocado. The English breakfast is cold, disgusting and tastes like it’s been heated up in the microwave. Do not reccomend to anyone.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Got this delivered, and was the worst breakfast I have ever seen in my life. My avocado on toast was a couple chunks of brown avocado on soggy bread, the full English was inedible, cold, hard and for over £20 and the pictures posted on just eat I expected edible food! Do not reccomend to anyone.

Really nice food had the jacket potato with been and cheese - with salad The salad was fresh and the jacket potato was lovely and buttery , Safe have been pleasant and helpful will recommend if passing by !!

roast with chips no no, no roast potatoes chicken was very dry all of it was cold, all this and the price as gone up too.

It was the best breakfast I ever had, hash brown the beans and the thick toast was so delicious! I recommend everyone to go there!

hi we did 2 of the make ur own breakfasts each has 8 items i put 2 lots of scrambled on my order but when they were nxt to each other there was the same amount, plus there was no bacon in mine, the hash brown was oily smush and sausage had huge lump of grissle inside it which has put me off sausages for life, sorry for this review but £29.38 (mushrooms were nice though) we was probably unlucky with the sausages being grissly (driver also went on a marathon with it on the map)

I paid for fried eggs and recieved no eggs with my order. Everything else was there and delicious.

The baguette was fine, but for £8.10 I expected more than 1 sausage, a slice of bacon and a solid egg. The sausage didn't even fill the length of the baguette. I expected at least a sauce sachet, but nothing. Got to be honest, won't be using Seaside Cafe again. Cooked OK but overpriced for what you get.

First time using this cafe asked for no mushrooms and order turned up with mushrooms and missing toast. Also the poached eggs where more hard boiled. Prob wouldn't order again.

Having been a regular with the previous owners the food was outstanding. The new owners are friendly but the food standard has dropped. Cheap sausages, salty bacon, I prefer butter and they use marg but that's a personal preference, mushrooms tasteless, but on a positive the hash browns we're great. The tomato ketchup seemed a cheap variety. It was such a change from the previous owners that it was most definitely my last visit which is a real shame.....

This cafe has recently under new management, they are very welcoming and friendly and generally the food is similar to before, the mushrooms were amazing. Only criticism I have is the sausages have changed and are not as nice or as good quality as before but apart from that cannot fault it, lovely food, good portions and a lovely atmosphere.

Awful I order roast chicken dinner for delivery. When I got it all I got was dry chicken and vegetables, no roast potatoes or Yorkshire pudding. I called them the owner said they don't do roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. I said I ain't paying £10 for what I got. He said next time I order put a note on it saying extra roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. So they do roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. As if I will be ordering again.

I order roast chicken dinner , it should have chicken, vegetables roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Allbi got was chicken and vegetables and gravy.

Highly recommend this cafe! The food was lovely and great portion sizes for your money. The staff are really friendly, will definitely be returning! 10/10

Treat ourselves once a month to a cooked breakfast, fancied somewhere new today as we go to the same couple of places and chose this one. What a great decision! To have the choice of make your own breakfast with 8 items for £8.90 and make your own omelette with 4 items was fantastic. The food was delicious, bacon cooked to perfection, lovely bread. My other half had the belly buster and I had an omelette. Definitely a great place to go, service was great and a lovely friendly welcome. Highly recommended

This was an awesome cafe and you could build great breakfasts but the restaurant just phoned me and asked me to cancel my order because there was too many extra items on the breakfast… why have the option to add things to a breakfast if you say you can’t do it?? Ridiculous that a cafe you can’t build your own breakfast to how you like it so unfortunately the restaurant has lost my companies business

I'm actually sad and angry to write this but this is a reflection of what happens when people take advantage of your custom . I had the grilled chicken which I've had several times and it's been gorgeous, but today as I was eating it it seemed a little chewy but having a chat etc didn't take alot of notice , then look down to see raw chicken..now I know mistakes happen but its what happened next ...the young girl who's lovely came over and apologised andsaid obviously I wouldn't need to pay , the chef came out and informed me that as I had found rae bits in the chicken he would cook it special next time ....but then if that wasn't bad enough I went to the counter to pay and he went to charge me 18 pounds ...well first of all it wasn't 18 pounds as my boyfriend had cheese on toast and its 18 pounds when he has a fry up , THEN the chef says " ill take off one pound for raw chicken ......so I looked off , the girl was saying you can't charge her for raw chicken he basically shut her down and said OK 2 pounds off ????? Then he said "what you don't want to pay for grilled chicken ???? I said no I don't want to pay for defective food !! Anyway in the end he got stroppy and charged me for my boyrriends food and our drinks - then has the cheek to start saying why haven't I been in there since last week ?.(I've Ben going in there most days but I won't be questioned like I'm at school ffs . Needless to say they have lost our custom for good - just be careful what your paying if you're lucky enough to get a nice meal .

We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast here on Friday 6th October 2023. Such friendly service in a nice, clean cafe. The food was freshly cooked & very good quality & also reasonably priced. Decent coffee topped off an excellent breakfast. We intend to visit again very soon.

I come here every Saturday without fail one of the best cafe and breakfast in Eastbourne, the chef Hassan is always welcoming and the girls who serve are very polite with big smiles, grilled chicken is also a favourite when visiting for lunch!

Vile. Was not home made lasagne. I'm a high paid chef and I know the difference. Good old microwave meal. Chips disgusting. Greasy. Old oil. Threw it away and going to.apply for a refund. Never ordering from.you again. Absolute rip off

It is very delicious food. All staff is great doing service and all breakfasts have available here. All price is nice.

Times for delivery changed 3 times is the only reason it was on time, and 1 item; scrambled eggs of 6 item breakfast was missing, food was luke warm and had to be reheated

Very nice breakfast here , receive a warm welcome on entry , the omlettes are my favourite and very good value for money , they are very big and well filled , good produce used , we have started using this regularly .
