Man Alive. Tonight I had the best large haddock in batter I have eaten in decades. Juicy, flakey, crispy.. banging. Outstanding . Kudos to you all.

the driver was top very nice and brought my food up out of 6 takeaway from this area hes the only one to bring it up and he was very polite and nice

Incredibly greasy and lukewarm.

Have this order regularly BUT today’s delivery was luke warm, don’t think it was drivers fault as delivery was quick….. otherwise just ok!

Fish and chips were lovely, curry sauce was a bit watery and not great but overall very enjoyable

By far the best fish & chips in Guildford. Always excellent quality, fast & friendly service. Staff seem happy to be there. Prices are good especially considering the standard. Consistently offering gluten free on Mondays which tastes just as good and means those following a GF diet don’t miss out. The loyalty scheme is excellent too - highly recommend!

Has improved greatly over the years and has become one of my favourite chips shops . Lovely tasty chips. Always served with a smile. We live getting chips here . Have become a family fav. Had fish the other day was lovely.

Fish dry with more batter than fish, chips nearly all small pieces, with a few burnt ones. Not impressed, as it was for a birthday treat. Didn't enjoy it.

Very dry fish. Left in warming cabinet too long? Chips appeared to have been made with new potatoes with their skins left on. Very disappointed and not up to usual high standards.

Disappointed-asked for two cod and one chips-got home and been given haddock which am not a fan of and chips were mostly bits and too crispy to eat! Maybe because it was 8 and close at 9?!!

Young lady was polite and served us with no problems. Had to wait as they were cooking fresh. Food was lovely as per the norm. Will come back again. Thank you.

Unusual to find your Chips not up to your usual high standard. Barely warm.

Absolutely delicious. Our first chippy tea since moving into area and it didn’t disappoint! Fish was massive with a light batter, chips perfect and we can’t wait to order again soon :)

Initially it was 17:25-17:45, then it changed to 18:05-18:25. It actually arrived around 18:05. The delivery person was nice, the food was good by the way.

Great fish and chips and at a reasonable price. Very nice service although this place can get very busy at times. So you night have to wait to get served, but it's always worth the time.. great British food.

First customer at 5pm everything was fresh, but I'm sorry £10.50 for the smallest portion of chips and very small fish. Was less than a hand full of chips! Have been here quite a few times over the years but won't be back again. Edit: sorry 10p off price! Not first person to make a comment or review on portion size! Maybe want to listen to feedback customers are giving you.. Your standard portion is clearly too small or not value for money hence multiple reviews stating this!! Wouldn't have had an issue paying £10.40 for a reasonable portion. Have reviewed 40+ restaurants which are honest and true reflections of my opinion. Happy to amend rating if there is a review of portion size.

Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time the chips tasted old - as if they'd just been reheated. A real disappointment.

Very nice fish and chips from here. I highly recommend the pollock which is just as nice as cod or haddock and great value at £6.95 including chips with good sized portions. The fish was freshly cooked to order with a nice light batter and nice thick-cut chips. Neither were greasy. Only slight complaints would be that there was a bit too much salt in the fish batter for my taste and £2.30 for a small pot of mushy peas seems very expensive, but overall great value and quality.

I went for lunch today and ordered cod and chips and chips for a friend separate I've been throwing up all afternoon the fish was bad I've never had this problem before not sure if it was fish or the oil that was bad but it wasn't very good

Extremely disappointing portion sizes when compared to other local Fish & Chip shops. A large portion of chips is not even sufficient enough to feed 3 young children. Other previous reviews relating to portion sizes are unfortunately true. We only live down the road and it's a great shame my family now refuses to eat here. I also asked for a meal deal as advertised in their shop on the wall to then be told it is no longer available. The awards they've won I can only assume must be for flavour only and not based on their portion sizes. Hopefully they see this as constructive feedback and may look at the portion sizes better going forward to avoid losing more customers and gain some back.

First time ever my delivery was missing items. Just eat customer service as ever useless and would leave your kids to starve...... Phoned the shop directly and they quickly delivered missing items.... Excellent service as usual

For the second time in a row, these guys fed our hungry Air Cadets during our recruit training weekend. 19 portions of Fish & Chips all supplied with ketchup, plastic cutlery and everything we needed. All really hot, ready at the ordered time and yummy. Be back in September! Thanks again from 261 (Guildford) Squadron Air Training Corps. Update 11-02-2024 - they did it again and we got bigger... 32 portions of fish & chips and 4 chicken & chips for our hungry new recruits and staff. Everything was cooked to perfection and all the plates were empty. Thanks again, see you on the next one.

the battered fish was very pale and greasy some of the chips looked like they had been refried as the were burnt . personally l would go to seafare Burpham, much nicer

Travelled down South (I’m from Newcastle) and tried this shop & it was honestly one of the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. The service and food was outstanding.

It's a great chippy with good long opening hours.

I ordered and paid for some ketchup sachets but these weren't delivered in the order, making the meal far less enjoyable. Also I ordered a non-battered sausage but was given a battered one, but that's not as annoying as the lack of ketchup.. Other than that the food was good.

Driver delivered wrong order to me,the people at seafare were very professional and delt with it,recommended.

Just got home after ordering the family deal, usually more than sufficient to feed myself and 3 kids, 11yo, 9yo & 8yo. Ordered adult cod and chips, kids had sausage and chips. The portion sizes for all 4 meals were really poor, image of one of the kids meals. All 3 kids complained about the portion sizes and left feeling hungry. This has been our go to place for the last 6 years, maybe this is a one off, if not we’ll be going elsewhere in the future!

Over priced as is the way with many F&C locations these days. The owner, clearley not inetrested in real improvement feedback replied to my quick post, so I thought I'd provide a fuller clarification to help... In the main, F&C shop take away prices have increased markedly, that's a fact. Seafare's I specifically highlight as 'over priced' when I compare it to e.g. Superfish in West Byfleet, the F&C shop I stop at if I'm coming home off the M25. At Superfish in West Byfleet the prices have also gone up. However, in contrast to Seafare, the fish Quality is significantly better. Chips are on a par. BUT, the fry at Superfish is markedly more flavoursome. Their mushy peas and curry sauce very, very significantly better. The less said about Seafare's mushy peas and curry sauce, the better! Writing honestly, Seafare only gets the vote if I can't be bothered to run over to West Byfleet and where 'I KNOW' the outcome will be significantly more rewarding! Reality can be hard to read sometimes, but I'm hopeful you find the feedback beneficial as you attempt to do better. Success!

Everything was fine. Bit too much batter on the cod. Burgers were tasty and a decent size. Chip portion was a bit smaller than I expected, for the price, but I do get costs have gone up! A great local chippy though, delivery is very speedy and quick :)

I would have rated them 5/5, but today I wanted to change from my regular Fish n’ Chips to a chicken burger which turned out to be a mistake. I got the plainest chicken burger you can get 😅, if I’ve had known it comes like this I would have grabbed ketchup and mayo at least to go with it. Thankfully I have ordered the chips with it, which If I only rate it I could give it 5/5. Staff are friendly. If you update your chicken burger, let me know so I can change the review to 5 stars. Haddock was lovely, chips were overcooked

I had the most incredible experience at this fish and chips shop! The food was absolutely fantastic – the fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips were just the right amount of golden and flavorful. The service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive staff that made me feel right at home. The management team deserves special praise for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough – if you're looking for amazing fish and chips served by a wonderful team, this is the spot for you! Five stars all the way.
