Seafare in East Hampshire

I was on hols before Covid & wanted to order before going home and they didn't open because Bank hol weekend and got caught in traffic. On hol again this weekend and waited to order but they switched pans off early as had to leave early. I could have ordered earlier but was waiting for us all to be ready, really disappointed and had to go somewhere else! I do think they should find someone to relieve if things don't go according to plan, opening hours are opening hours and they should adhere to these. I think I would be dubious ordering again as this is second time - think good idea to ring and confirm hours on the day.

Worst service and food I have ever had from a chip shop Clueless service, slow, and the food was mushy.... First and last visit

We go here once a month, great fish and chips , unfortunately 3 months in a row we have had things missing from our order, first time it was a cod and chips, 2 nd time it was a portion of chips, last time a pea fritter even tho asking to check order , ( not that they seem bothered) we live a few miles away so not going to go back for the missing items , did try to ring but no response from the phone , but hey ho will check myself next time , still the best chippy around tho 😄

Yet another superb meal from Seafare. Delivered on time, beautiful fish, freshly cooked chips, what more could any customer wish for?

We are new to the area and cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the food from this establishment. I asked for our food to be delivered it was hot on arrival excellent sized portions and simply delicious. This is the second time we have ordered and enjoyed our food and cannot fault at all the food, delivery or the nice friendly welcome when telephoning to place our order. Highly recommended.

Ordered food for delivery didn’t turn up phoned to see where it was , to be told was delivered , then they said it hadn’t lady started screaming at me down the phone , my husband went to pick it up to be sworn at and the manager wanting to take him out side for a fight all because it was late and I said the week before they didn’t give us any chips which I phoned to tell them as soon as realised . Avoid at all counts as staff very abusive

Abusive staff didnt delivered and become threatening! Did not deliver and called us a liar. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Excellent Fish and Chips and customer service . The best in Bordon by far. The price is reasonable and cheap.

Fancied chip butties dripping in ketchup. Ordered a regular portion of chips and a fish to share with it only being lunchtime. The portions were plenty big enough for two and very fresh. The chap serving was jolly and seemed to know other customers coming in and out. Felt like an old fashioned traditional community chippy for the short time I was in there. I will be back.

ordered delivery on a saturday evening ,was told twenty minutes for delivery and did think it would be longer ,,anyway they turned up in less than twenty minutes to my surprise .. the fish and chips and burger all arrived nice and hot and very tasty ,,the fish and chips were perfectly cooked ,,with a crispy batter ,,nothing soggy like some other local shops ,,so get the no 1 spot in bordon and will be having them more often ,, and the delivery driver was friendly and smiley ,,,keep up the good work and all the best for your future

Many have said it: since Seafare Bordon changed hands, they have not failed to impress. We always get ours from them, after the incredible kindness shown by the new gaffer who was handing out bags of hot chips to motorists struggling to get home in snow some time ago. Portions are good, they use high quality ingredients and food is fresh and well-prepared. The team deserves every success.

Even if it wasn't the closest fish and chip shop, I would drive out of my way to go to this one. Really nice people and the food is excellent

Haven’t had fish & chips from a takeaway for ages and really fancied them so decided to give this one a go. We weren’t disappointed, the food was delicious and the fish batter was how we like it crispy, not soggy!

This is one of the best Fish and Chips for in the whole of Hampshire. The staff are always very helpful and pleasant.

Since this place was taken over the food quality is very good served by happy pleasant staff.

Ordered a delivery, quoted time. Delivered early, piping hot. It was probably the best cod and chips I have ever tasted, I don’t say that lightly, I have eaten fish and chips all over the UK, and worldwide. The batter was seasoned, the chips crispy, and in all honesty, I am going to pop in at every opportunity. For owners that only recently took over, Lynn, great job. Thank you.

Visiting family in Bordon and decided on spur of the moment to have a fish n chips evening. Easy to locate on main through road (until relief road opens shortly!) just before Tesco but lay-by parking is limited, so we parked in trading estate opposite (and dodged the constant traffic as we crossed road). As it was early evening the shop wasn’t busy, staff cheerful and our order was quickly processed - between us we had cod (nice batter)/fish cake/sausage/mushy peas/2xchips and overall price was just over £13, which I thought reasonable. There’s a small dining area inside at the far end and also a delivery service for an additional (I think 20p) per item supplement. And here’s a tip - noticed on their Facebook page dated 21 June 2018 that you’ll get 20% off when you demonstrate you posted a Tripadvisor review!

Fantastic food, prompt delivery, reasonably priced. Say no more. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

This is now the best fish and chip shop in the area. Such an improvement since under new ownership. Food, cleanliness, staff. I could go on. Spam fritters, skinless fish on request. Eat in, take out or delivery.

Very impressed with both quality and portion sizes. Nice non greasy chips. Veggie burger and pea fritters are both great too. Can't quote for any meat or fish but I could imagine they would be good quality aswell! And all delivered aswell.

Been a few times in the last couple of weeks, the shop is clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and the portions are a very good size. They also do gluten free options which is great if you need it.
