Came in right as they opened so it took a bit longer than previous timed I've been there, great food and the service was great other than the wait

I cant say i would ever recommend Atlantis for the price you would think the food would good quality but you'd be wrong. Waited 40 minutes whilst staff constantly arguing behind the counter only to be told we count have some of our order. Young girl behind the counter was very rude to me and the lady that was trying to sort things out. Getting a refund coursed the staff to argue completely unprofessional. Don't bother visiting you'll only be disappointed.

Not many F&C's shops are open in the area. Atlantis Fish Bar was great, open, a good choice, cooked as i waited so fresh, hot, and a delicious meal.

Only good thing about this place is that you know the chicken is cooked… food takes far too long because they are busy cremating the chicken. Chips were ok, guess you can’t go wrong with them! Never again

My partner went in to order, young ish girl behind the counter was rude, snarky and very grumpy, there wasn't anyone eles in there so everything was cooked fresh so was a half hour wait for soggy chips, half cooked fish cakes, a smashed pie and a sausage that the dog refused to go near. This was the first time we went here. It will be our last sadly.

Open Sunday night! Travelled from niece's in Petersfield as all closed there! Mixture of fish, sausages, chips, curry sauce and peas. All cooked fresh, large portions and still hot when got home via petrol garage. Really good, worth the 12 minute trip.

Needed this , hot on arrival and very tasty .

Used Atlantis for the whole family on Saturdays game night we ordered for a family of 5 potions sizes are very generous and everyone had a great meal will 100% be using again . Great food and very friendly staff. 10/10

Avoid!! Ordered a delivery for 4, only half arrived, they said they would send the other half, 40 minutes later still not arrived by which time we had split the food into 4. We called them and asked for a refund for the undelivered food, guess what still waiting 3 weeks later. Should have predicted it really as they hung up.the phone, rude.

I have used Atlantis for a few years now and they always have a good selection to choose from. Its often very busy so usually have a little wait but worth it for the freshly cooked food. I like the service as well the whole team are warm and friendly .

Ordered large cod and large chips and was happy to wait for it to be cooked, but two other people came in after us and ordered the same, one lady ordered light batter on her fish but got given what was cooked for us , we did complain and was told dont worry we are just cooking some more ,only to get home to find out we got small chips as the two other people who asked for large chips had them in a separate bag ,so dont we will be going there any time soon

Asked burger and chips twice and mixed kebab with a tiny bit of chilli sauce got home no chip's the kebab was drowning in chilli sauce you could not taste the meat I would never go there again also expensive

We used this a lot when we lived here and as we were passing through we thought why not get pie and chips each. very nice but way too many chips cooked perfectly but next time only gonna get one portion of chips

Absolute joke! Tried to order a simple fish and chips.. which came to £12, was told I need to spend a minimum of £15 to get it delivered so ordered some extra chicken strips… turns out that a simple fish and chips was going to end up costing £25 which included a £2.50 delivery charge… AVOID

How do you give no stars! One is too generous for this disgusting place. The worst fish and chips I've ever eaten! Burnt, overcooked, dry and tasteless. Chips were super greasy! Do not waste your time and money! I'm assuming the arrogant, rude unprofessional man with the pop belly is the owner, he really needs to learn how to treat his staff not to mention customers! This was the 3rd chance this place was given. First time round food was okay but not brilliant Second time the kebab and wedges came an hour and a half late and not edible, I literally wouldn't of fed my dog with it. Now onto tonight We ordered and got a call saying they had no doughnuts would fudge cake be okay, doughnuts costing £6.90 and cake costing £3 they didn't correct the bill for that When the order came we were told they had no sausages in stock but here's a saveloy which was freezing cold The burger was a mess and chips cold once again For £40 you expect a lot more. The most diabolical fish and chips, I've ever had. Dry and over cooked, left under hotplate for too long. Not worth the money. They need to learn how to cook properly.

Wessexfox's comment is very right. I worked there too and if the owner, when I worked there, gave very bad treatment, he shouted and insulted employees and family members. For that reason, I left for many hours, little pay, only the only person who had an ethical job. and responsible and very careful with your work, the chef or manager is a very responsible person and he knew how to run that business since the owner of vaina knew what to prepare something correctly, I am not surprised that it has 1 star since when I arrived and I was gone we had 4.5 stars but after I was I was sure I lost a lot.

They never pick up the phone when i ring when they finally did took over 2 hours and 30m to even get here, the food was cold and greasy and way to expensive 11.99 for a small kebab? like dam dont use just honestly go to tesco or even the other bordon takeawats..

If you want an honest review read this one, as my partner used to work there. Here is a list of all the dreadful practices, some of which are illegal. 1. They charge roughly £1 more per item, on top of the delivery charge, if you choose delivery over collection. 2. EVERYTHING IS FROZEN (EVEN THE CAKE) 3. Owner has been seen re-heating three day old unrefrigerated curry sauce 4. I have never seen any of the cooks/owner adequately wash their hands 5. If they deliver your order to the wrong address they will simply pick up that same order from the incorrect address and will give it to you instead of making a new batch (Who knows what happens to your food in the meantime) 6. Cross contamination of slush puppies and meat products, my partner on one of their shifts made slush too early and was made to put it in the frozen meat and fish freezer. 7. My partner has witnessed a box of fish, which on its packaging says to keep it refrigerated at a certain temperature, be left out for a whole 6 hour shift. 8.The Owner can be horrifically rude to both staff and customers 9. It is unlikely that they pay their taxes 10. They have three microwaves that are used regularly. I must say all the other staff, excluding the owner, deserve a pat on the back for trying to sell such awful products from a disreputable business and for having to put up with the childish and unprofessional tantrums of the owner. Rude. Went in at 10.05pm. Already looked closed as many heaters /ovens off but still some food being kept warm. Gentleman on phone and two young ladies out back sweeping up. After a while they laughed and commented to each other that customers were there. Looked directly at us, went out back, came back in, swept a bit more etc etc. Kept looking at us but wouldn't come and serve us. Went to leave for the man on the phone asking us then to wait. Explained the above, for which his response was they are working... Pretty poor excuse. There were 2. One could have served us. So, so poor in their customer service. Never had issue before but this was crap. Why say you are open if you have staff that want to ignore you so they can shut up early and go home.

Ordered a blue slush puppy blue raspberry which they gave me on delivery and was won’t because they run out of blue one they gave me mixed with strawberry then on y veggie burger on menu says served with cheese didn’t come with it so I phoned and they it’s an extra you have to order and pay extra even though it’s says comes with order veggie burger not nice and I will not be ordering again from them …

Ordered a take away for my daughter’s birthday got a message 20 mins later they cancelled the order and will refund in 3-5 working days phone just rings out no explanation no nothing if it is a lack of drivers I would of collected

o say i am disappointed is an understatement, placed order online , not the first delivery we have had from atlantis , order went through alright then after an hour got a phone call from driver saying he had been to my door and the people didnt order it, of course they didnt he was at an address 4 miles away, he then told me my address was wrong which ive checked on my online account, waiting for delivery just now , no doubt it will be luke warm at the best 35 mins after expected delivery and counting, it arrived after 90 mins from the order time, and was hardly warm. there were several items missing from the order. did not enjoy the food as cold .

As we feeling g rough after jabs. We thought we have fish n chips for me n pie n chips for the wife. The fish n chips were good . But the two pies we ordered were like two wetflanels ping ping comes to mind . Will defo not order from atlantis again. As this sort of thing keeps happening

A disgusting establishment that really should have stayed closed. Thought it fair to give them a try but why bother? Food disgusting and smelling, awful customer service that ive never seen before. Had a terrible experience with Atlantis. I ordered burger, chips, coke, cake and milkshake. I ordered via their website. When ordered, the website gave me a visual countdown of when I would receive my food. 35 minutes. It had snowed, so I was under the assumption that if there was delivery issues, I would have been notified either by phone or via the website being updated to reflect this. But the timer was ticking down from 35 minutes so assumed things were ok. I waited nearly 2 hours for my food. When it arrived, I wasn't given my chips. The burger looked unappetising and they sent me the wrong flavour milkshake. I would have appreciated a call if they didn't have the flavour I wanted, or an update on their website to say the flavour I wanted was out of stock. I didn't eat the burger, didn't have my chips and couldn't drink the milkshake. The cake had seen better days too. As it took such a long time to come and I had food missing and wrong item - I asked for a full refund. The manager said he doesn't do refunds and will send me more chips. I said no because I didn't like the service. I found him to be really rude and he would not listen to me and give me time to explain. I admittedly got frustrated with this. It was finally settled for a partial refund. The customer service was terrible, the food didn't look great and I won't be going here again - I'll try Frankies down the road.

This outlet used to be reasonably priced and very good food, chips are now maiy bits although the burgers are excellent they simply overcharge now, plus extra charges for delivery and service charge.

We have used them three times first was great so good I ordered a second time and it was bad they had made the wraps up with lettuce and then put them under a heat lamp awful tried again today Far too much Chicken and it was dry seemed to be reheated from old off cuts of chicken portions even pulled a bone out such a shame Also didn’t come within specified time frame had to phone to chase it up

A text message was sent stating 10% discount on delivery or collections on orders over £14.00. When I tried to order the minimum order is £24.00. I phoned and got someone who was useless. Possibly they are contravening Trade Description Act. Dreadful service.

Absolutely horrendous experience today with Atlantis in Bordon. Ordered food which didn’t turn up. We constantly rang the shop but no one answered. When we finally got through to someone the man said he’d delivered the food and left it on the doorstep. We had NO food left at all. Said he had tried to phone us but we had no missed calls. He said it wasn’t his problem our address was incorrect. It actually wasn't. He repeated it back and it was all correct he had delivered to a house instead of the flat. He said he’d get more food sent out but I didn’t believe him so drove to Bordon to get my money back. The shop was closed when I arrived and he opened it just as I got there so clearly working on his own getting orders made and delivered. No wonder it never turned up. When I confronted him he became aggressive and confrontational yelling at me denying he had delivered it to the incorrect address. This was in front of two other customers. He picked up his chip and pin machine and threw it towards me. Started banging things about telling me how dare I go in there acting like a queen. He was extremely angry. Very strange and questionable behaviour if you ask me. He eventually gave me my money back and told me I’m blocked. Not really sure what that meant but I couldn’t care less as I will never order food from this man again. Appalling way to treat customers. I wonder if he was the manager but who ever he is I hope he gets sacked because no one should be dealing with customers in that manner. Awful man. Awful restaurant.

This used to be the best delivery for proper chip shop chip, but recently we seem to have more crispy bits then chips and with our recent order 1/3 of the chips were just hard bits The burgers kebabs are quality but seem expansive for what you get plus the fees for ordering online, they need to sort their pricing and chip quality out

I have backed this place for a long time, and tried to support it. But I've been let down once too often. A chicken shop with no chicken isn't good enough. The broiler has been broken for over a month. Last time I couldn't get chicken, I changed my order, and they got it wrong! This time, my son wanted boneless so his order seemed fine. But when we got home the fries seemed like they had been refried at least twice. And his chicken strips weren't remotely crispy. In hindsight Atlantis has been on the slide for a while, but the slide has gone too far. When another local chicken shop is better, and cheaper, it's a no brainer.

Just had fish and chips takeaway. Didn’t see them get wrapped up. Got home to find the chips were not the usual chips but ‘fries’ a la McDonalds and were like eating fat filled with air. Really really disappointed and angry that it was not pointed out when I ordered that they were not cooking their normal chips. They were clearly wrapped up out of sight to prevent the customer from taking their order elsewhere.

First time I have used this chip shop even though I have lived in the area for 19 years. All I can say is..... I will be back. Pleasant service, even though I only wanted cod and chips and it was cooked to perfection. Fresh white fish. Crispy batter and well cooked chips without any greasy residue. So good my wife who only wanted a nibble, ate half!!!!

Order took quite a long time to arrive, the food was average and the price was high. It wasn't awful but definitely not good. If they weren't so expensive I probably wouldn't have bothered to write a review but due to the price, delivery time and food quality I am pretty disappointed.

Food took too long and staff were horrible

Food took over an hour to get to us when they said the wait was only half an hour. The food was cold. We ordered a slush puppies in a large we got a small. When the delivery driver got to us he said they had tried to call us because they didnt have something but they never did call us .

I am very disappointed, I have used this restaurant numerous times before couple of years back. Using it tonight, we pre ordered at 10.18pm to collect. We wait 40 minutes outside the shop for our food. To get all the way back to petersfield and it be wrong. We phoned back as soon as we were back at 11.08pm and he told me to collect, but I was not happy with this, he said he will deliver within 25 minutes. It is not 11.55pm and my food still hasn't arrived. He refused to give me a refund as he said he was going to deliver food. It eventually turned up and he said call tomorrow the manager might give you a refund. But wouldnt give me a name of the manager. I will phone tomorrow and see how far I get.

If I could do zero stars I would waited over 2 hours for food last night and I phoned and phoned spoke to different people trying to help including a friend who had her food ordered same time as mine for them to say they had a power cut but there phone was ringing and they couldn't awnser just to let us know that the order I payed for and they received and accepted wasent going to come! Has issues before but five them the benefit of the doubt but this by far was the worst I have ever known place should be closed

Recently used Atlantis for the first time and I was very impressed with both the quality of the food and the speed in which the food was produced. The staff were very polite and accommodating. 10/10 all around and I will definitely be ordering from there again. Highly recommended to all!

Surprised by the other reviews here?!? Recently moved to the area and started using this as its my local. Friendly girl in there good service, and tonight had the best bit of freshly cooked to order cod and chips I've had in years! They need a tip jar, I'd tip every time!

Went here on impulse and read the reviews after ordering 4 large fish and chips. They were made to order and took about 10 minutes, everyone in our group thought they were delicious, prices were reasonable (£6.90 for a large cod), and the lady working there (originally from Madeira) was friendly and helped me take them to the car. Takes card and plenty of parking. Looked up the FSA rating and their 5 star hygiene rating IS valid. I think the place has maligned. 5 stars!

What happened. You used to be the best fast food on the street. Now I get given a plucked chicken to eat, the slushy is too cold and the chips. 😢. The chips. Why the chips. They were lit, now I get served a potato just pulled out the ground.
