Third visit and as always extremely polite and friendly staff. Only nipping in for a drink however, wife asked if they had any Scones and decided to indulge. I decided to indulge in Greek waffle. Not a great fan but, this has given new view on these. Good value for money, definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been there yet.

My friends invited me to lunch and what a refreshing welcome I received!!!!! It’s a very relaxing atmosphere and ideal to catch-up whilst enjoying the most delicious sea bass and tiger prawn dish decorated with pea shoots and samphire on a bed of spring vegetables!!!!! Mmmmm!!!! Will definitely be visiting again !!!! And staff extremely friendly which makes an enormous difference!!!!!🙏

We were under the impression that this was going to be better than, in reality it was given its no.1 tripadvisor status. We were expecting freshly caught local fish prepared imaginatively and so were somewhat disappointed. The menu was OK but dated and nothing very exciting. I had dressed crab salad. We could have had Seabass or standard fish and chips. The crab was ok the salad was spoilt by a gloopy dressing that tasted like it was out of a jar rather than home made. My husband ordered mixed seafood/scampy goujons and was a little disappointed to find his goujons came in the shape of sharks. I'm sure that that is a plus point if you are little! There is nothing wrong with this place but don't come expecting fine dining or anything inventive or exciting. If you come with the expectation of a cafe offering 'pub grub' type menu then you won't be disappointed. All seemed clean and well ventilated. Plenty of staff who were all polite although they seemed a little stressed and hard to attract their attention. We finally managed to pay by standing up and looking like we may leave. I understand that they are only open lunchtimes due to staff shortages but that ordinarily they would open in the evenings too.

Popped into grab a quick bite, went with the veggie lasagne for which I was pleasantly surprised, good chunky veg with a good bite. Maybe a little too much cheese but thats being picky. However Declan the manager was absolutely fantastic and even brought me down some of his own personal hot sauce. Which really made the meal for me! Wish him the best of luck with his dissertation!

Another wonderful meal at Wendy's. Fabulous roasts and an excellent selection of vegetables. Everything is so fresh and quickly served. The After Eight cheesecake is to die for, very lovely mousse texture. I needed a rest when I got home. You excelled yourselves today, see you soon xx

Owner is a very highly trained chef, she was trained by Anthony worrell Thompson, prices used to be quite high but they have now revealed the menu so is now a little cheaper but still extremely good food.

5 of us, last minute, late in the day - and what a warm welcome we received! A retro dinner with more space than you think from looking at the front! And a delicious selection of home made foods made from local suppliers - we’ll definitely be back!

A great find. I’ve been on business at a local gas terminal for some time now and always wanted to try here. I eventually got around to it and very glad I did! I was immediately made to feel very welcome by the conscientious and efficient staff. Chose to try the lemon sole gougons and dressed crab salad for main. The first service came swiftly and was a generous portion to say the least. Accompanied by a beautiful home made tartare sauce. In my mind, the crab salad would have been a nice light dish to follow. In fairness it was all fresh, tasty and varied but came with potatoes and bread roll. A proper plate full that I really couldn’t fault. A great place to go if you’re hungry. If not, think twice about what you order. Would go back without any doubt!!

We were very lucky to get a table as when I originally tried to make a booking for myself and my husband they were fully booked. However I was contacted the following day as they had a table become available due to a cancellation. A special Valentines menu was offered on the Friday and Saturday evening which was very reasonable especially if you had all 3 courses. I began with smoked salmon and prawn roulade which was delicious my husband had the onion soup with Lincolnshire poacher cheese croutons. For the main I had pan fried cod on a bed of wilted spinach, my husband had sirloin steak, which he said was extremely tender. To finish off I had Baileys cheesecake and clotted cream diary ice cream, my husband had cheese and biscuits which was ample and came with a garnish of grapes. All the meals were homemade, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The service was professional and very friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the Dunes Complex is definitely not wheelchair friendly. There are disabled parking spaces in the car park. However, they were all taken, and some didn't have Blue Badges visible. Once in the Dunes Complex, there are 2 more ramps to consider, the 1st one is quite steep, and the 2nd one is less of a hassle. If a wheelchair user or someone who has mobility difficulties wanted to get to the stage, they would have to ask staff for a further ramp. To get onto the stage itself, well, there are narrow corridors that a wheelchair does not fit through, and there are no handles or any form of mobility aid.

Staying in Aby village for a week's holiday and had to try the local pub. Exterior looks a bit "tired" but don't be put off - inside it's friendly. cosy and lots of character. Excellent choices of dishes on the menu and "daily specials" board - we especially appreciated the choice of gluten-free options and Dawn was happy to go through each option in detail. Good portions and served hot! Very tasty and wholesome. Wide range of dessert options too and it was evident from conversations with other diners, that Dawn would also be happy to adapt these just to suit individual requirements. Obviously very deserving of the many awards over many years.

I ordered a Sunday roast delivery from here and it went in the bin as soon as it arrived! Everything was burnt to a crisp and absolutely disgusting, I would not recommend eating here at all! I've heard from a few people how awful the food has been there for a while now but thought we'd give it a go for ourselves. Avoid at all costs and don't waste your money here!
