Sea Breeze Fish Bar in Cheshire West and Chester

Ordered fish and chips for the family. Cost quite a lot of money and sadly when we got home the fish was very hard and the chips stale. Such a shame as we normally enjoy them from here. Feels as though they were the left overs from the night before

Went in with a fiver to get 2 portions of chips and they were £2.80 a portion, got home and the portion was small for the amount paid, used to be good but would not return, rip off

I like Sea Breeze. It’s a very old-fashioned chippy/Chinese. It’s certainly not sophisticated and the service is brusque but very efficient. It’s cheap and you get loads! One portion of Scezchuan chicken (or the equivalent) provides 2 large helpings! You get what you pay for so don’t expect Michelin star elegance. The fish and chips are good too. Yes, the cash only requirement could be more clearly advertised. But I’d miss it if it vanished!

Called in to pick up fish and chips and a carton of curry sauce. Did not see the "pot" of curry sauce till I got home. They used to serve a reasonable size pot of sauce ,and then they halved the amount. Yesterday they had halved it again as well as increased the price ! You only got probably the equivalent of two table spoons of sauce. Cost £11 also. Definitely will not be going there ever again. Also they will only accept cash and no debit or credit card. Now I wonder why they only accept cash ?

Ordered special fried rice & portion of ribs £19.20 ! Special fried rice was inedible a burnt egg staring at myself on opening the tray thecteat of the dish no flavour had to throw away . £19.90 at least Dick Turpin wore a’mask ! Never again would not recommend my usual Golden Dragon on Westminster Park never had a bad meal .

The sea breeze never fails to deliver brilliant fish n chips, fried rice and Chinese take away. Half chips, rice and curry is a crowd pleaser. Brilliant chippy

Fried rice and spicy crispy beef dish was nice and the wife had beef curry and fried rice which was very nice

Absolutely excellent Fish & Chips. Best I've had in a long time. Chips were fresh and not greasy. The fish was huge and fresh with a lovely crisp batter. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting Fish & Chips on Swanage sea front. There are a few places to choose from, as you would guess, at the seaside..but this place is the best and a reasonable price too.

Just collected a beef chow mein and a chicken chow mein. It was bland greasy and absolutely awful. Not been here for ages and thought we'd give it a try again. Wish we hadn't bothered

We wish we'd read the reviews before going here. The customer service was rude and truly obnoxious. There is no sign saying 'cash only', so we had to return to pay..... wish we hadn't bothered. The food was greasy and cheap. We couldn't even work out what the fish might have been.... maybe some Chinese river fish?.....but it tasted bad, or was it the grease it was cooked in? Either way, we didn't eat it. What a waste of time and money.

Omg where do I start well Food was ok very small portions the staff were so rude they did not give you time to give your full order before telling you how much the bill is and when you ask for something else she rolls her eyes and says anything else anything else shouts at the top of her voice cash only not one sign to say cash only to top it all off she then through the change on the Counter and turned her back to do the next customer absolutely outrageous customer service we will not be returning here

Have visited for years, never missed a beat. Lovely fish every time and they do a great sweet & sour chicken in giant battered balls. Never experienced rude staff! Busy and hard working yes, rude.... no way! Cash only is the only pain!

Our local chippy, but would travel miles in future rather than go there. Waited 45 minutes for basic fish and chips, and left with nothing as they had no handle on order of service. Female staff rude, and total disorganisation, worst service ever..

They can't understand 2x sausage and chips twice, ordered cod and chips then asked what range of fish they do!! "fish and chips"... just the one option, no rock, no plaice. NO RECEIPT, just cash only!!( Tax fiddle) Got Chinese from there and throw half away as you wouldn't give it to a animal, yuk yuk yuk.

Went in yesterday for dinner and the rude woman was more bothered in leaving a few minutes early than serving customer wasn't just rude to myself but was rude to my 5 year old daughter was not not happy with the way she treated us

terrible nothing tasty,no mushy peas,cheap sausages a fishcakes yuk,talking chinese whilst serving,gravy tasteless peas processed ,terrible

Popped in for chips/rice and curry sauce in a tray, £4.20!!! Service was quick and efficient. Not sure I would rush back.

This place is a shadow of itself, food is awful and sickly and has no resemblance of the menu before it was taken over. It shall not be having any more of my money.

Excellent service fro a well organised and talented teams. Great coordination between the kitchen and the ladies serving efficiently out front. Clear varied menu - all the populatr dishes are there and are cooked to a good standard, portions are generous. Will go back - recommended.

£5 for that..... Scam.... Tight with the amount of chips aswell, never again, much better quality around for a lower price!

The worst take away food I have ever bought, limp tasteless chips, re heated sausages , overpriced crap RUDE STAFF!!
