Prices are way too high for the quality and quantity of food. Chicken burgers much more expensive, yet smaller than those at the Blendon branch of SeeBream a few miles away, which seems very odd.

Ordered 4 chicken fillet burgers and asked for 2 plain ie no lettuce or mayo. However all 4 came with lettuce and drowned in mayo with 2 of them being cold chicken. The chips were also double dipped at least in the fryer

Grear fish shop, the chichen burger is the highlight although it was a little dry this time, I will have to check it again and re-review!

I will never order from this fish and chip shop ever again first of the chips are discussing and rotten and also they charge £18.40 for just 8 sausages wich is ridiculous £2.30 a sausage you can get 8 sausages, 2 large chips and a bottle of drink for that much in other fish and chip shops and the people that works in there are very disrespectful

Staff lovely but sorry to say chips were nasty and fish was really oily . Don't know if they have changed hands but never used to be like it . Good portion size but won't be going again . I didn't finish it because got cold very quickly and the taste was not good .

A long time favourite for me and my friends. Perfect chips, amazing chicken burger (and a massive portion you have to see!) and the lady who takes the orders remembers everyone’s orders and is really friendly. While the prices are a bit high it just reflects the quality and portions. They cannot be faulted!

I have had chips and chicken pieces in breadcrumbs from here a few times. It's always been tasty and the service is quick and friendly. The shop is located in a nice area with lots of parking nearby (and a pub if you feel like a drink afterwards). There are some benches in a green space to eat just across from the shop.

Fish and chips very expensive but poor quality chips and the Cod I seriously doubt it is cod, sausages very cheap low meat and the curry sauce the worst. It was solid and tasteless. Will not go here agsin

It was a lovely evening around mid Jan, i decided to go alone to the fish bar as my kids were at their real dads. Anyway long story short i ordered cod and chips, only to be served one lettuce leaf and told i was too overweight to be considered for the fish. this left me utterly devastated, the lettuce leaf was quite tasty still but this dint help with my rising Blood pressure levels

Chicken burger is a massive no no! God know how long the chicken has been under the light in the clear box at the front of the shop but it taste like plastic! Fresh burgers please!

Quite pricey, tight with the vinegar on the chips and my chips are not as well cooked as last time I went there even though i waited longer for them to be cooked. Chicken burger is nice but I personally dont like veins in the meat so no, cray chippy is better for chicken burger.

My family have used Seabream as a takeaway for years and it never disappoints. Always fresh fish in firm flakes and tasty freshly cooked chips. Portions are very generous. The staff are friendly.

Fantastic fish & chip shop, best in the area in my opinion. You can pre phone orders through, which can be handy as the place is always busy. If you plan to go there on a Friday evening be prepared to wait a bit as the queue is sometimes out the door ( can only be a good sign though) all the staff are really friendly.

Terrible, they need to learn how to cook there food. Got food poisoning from here, then two days later my friend had the same. Wouldn't recommend go without or go McDonald's to save the embarrassment of wasting your money on poor food

Since my last review the chip shop has changed hand and has gone down hill the chicken is greasy and the chips are not as good as they used to be.

Only place I've been to that sells chicken yet have no idea what a piece of thigh is. Blows my mind. Chicken burgers are excellent. Everything else sucks including the service. I now drive to farnbourgh village. Much better chippy.

This place serves the best food I have had in ages, my son with autism is very picky with his food and won’t eat from most places but this shop is great he loves the food from here and loves the fact he can get a kids meal.

I'm sure the other food is perfectly fine but I always go for the chicken burger. although the price has gone up over recent years it is still great value. With a few chips is a good size meal.

ALWAYS come here for chicken burger. Sometimes 4 at a time. Of course we walk in and the guys behind the counter know, 2 chicken burgers, 3 chicken burgers for the weekend! Chips are nice and fresh too! Highly recommend!!!

Large succulent pieces of cod with just the right amount of batter, generous helpings of hand cut chips, cooked to perfection.

Decent portions (small cod and chips will feed one if very hungry, two if less hungry) but the chips could be crispier. Only tried the fish, but various other items are available. Cash only, but free cash machine is nearby by the co-op.
