The best fish and chips I’ve ever had - always such lovely food and friendly guys

Incredibly great fish and chips, lovely hosts of the restaurant who will help you choose what is yummy! I cannot recommend this place enough - best chippy in central London

This fish and chips shop is THE BEST IN BECKENHAM with traditional quality fish and chips.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I love the owners, the food, the portion sizes and the prices. Fantastic

The cod is absolutely delicious and so meaty and filling..the chips are fab too..

The worst fish and chips I have ever seen. The place up the road called Blue Planet Fish and Chips is a lot better.

Premises was very clean, the customer service was very good and the food was very nice and reasonably priced.

First visit. Our local was closed. Very nice food. Portion size on the chips was generous. Friendly welcome. I had take out but everywhere looked clean. I would eat in. Atmosphere only rated average because I was the only customer in there. Definitely up there with our local.

It's alright. The 2nd best chippy in Beckenham, just behind Marlow Road

Leaving a review mainly based on how incredibly friendly and pleasant the man working here was when we visited. It makes such a big difference. Can't comment on the fish as we're veggie, but the chips were spot on, and the veggie burgers are decent. Prices were also good!

The Goldfish died and being a reponcible patent told my upset daughter we could either go to fish heaven for the funeral or celebrate, thankfully she agreed when i told her about the ice cream fridge nearby

Meals are always cooked fresh, so a short wait is inevitable. However, I've never waited more than 10 minutes. I've had take out, dined in and delivery. All have been excellent

This is by far my favourite fish and chip shop in the area. Chips are cut in house with a chipping machine and the owner and his team always focus on quality and service. Conversation is light and positive. Chips well cooked, always super hot and Cod, Haddock etc are cooked to order with a great light golden brown batter, chips are a generous portion, a large is enough for 3. Vinegar is not like water and even the saveloy, an item u don't normally enjoy is specially selected. A wee gem! Thanks to Al and his family for the quality and care he keeps both with his customers and his food.

This place seems Have the nicest fish and chips plus nicest staff and customers. It is a pleasure to go there.

You won't find a better fish and chip shop locally. Have been using Nemos Beckenham for many years. Haddock is excellent, and good portion sizes. Friendly staff. My kids always wave to them through the window and they never fail to wave back.

Whilst we were in Beckenham for a evening party we thought we’d have lunch, as we were there early. Not knowing the local eateries we walked around and eventually found Nemo’s fish and chip restaurant. We were so pleased that we had come across them. Whilst the restaurant is fairly basic, the staff were so friendly. When our food arrived we were so amazed. The portions were so large, well cooked and reasonably priced. If we were in Beckenham again we’d definitely go there again.

We are so lucky to have Nemo’s as our local fish & chips shop. I am a regular there and never been disappointed with the fish, chips or service. Quality is the most important point for me and they do maintain it. Thanks

We really enjoyed our large cod & chips from Nemos in Beckenham today. Lovely batter & fish, the chips were firm and well cooked. Nothing was greasy like some other fish bars ( see the paper on the photo! ) Kids had chicken & chips and finished it all. Friendly pleasent service and a good price. Very clean. We will be back

Just picked up a big bag of chips to share & they were disgusting. Must have been sitting in the shop for a while as when we opened them they were soggy & warmish.They also had black bits on them.I have used this shop in the past and it was decent. I m hugely disappointed that the owner thought they were good enough to eat. Won’t be returning.

I popped in here and had haddock and chips to takeaway, and it was great. Huge chunky chips and fresh meaty fish. The staff are also nice and polite. Lovely little fish and chip shop

I have been here 3 times and everytime the food was perfect. The fish is cooked fresh which makes a massive difference and the chips don't taste of old fat like they do in some chip shops. The service by the young guy who takes your order is perfect. He makes you feel welcome and nothing is a problem for him. I have had cod & chips, sausage & chips and Scampi and all 3 dishes were lovely. Very generous in their portions and I would go there again and again!

My daughter and I went here yesterday. The young lad in there is extremely polite and the service is good. We had small chips (which was enough for both of us-so big portions) and a fish cake. Fish cake nice. They also happen to have the best curry sauce in Beckenham! Rolls lovely and fresh.We took it away with us and had to get a bus home. It was still really hot by the time we got back!We will be back soon!

We tried Nemos for the first time after hearing amazing things about how friendly the staff were. I can absolutely agree.. the staff were so friendly and helpful I can not fault them at all. My issue comes with the actual food unfortunately.. My daughter had nuggets I had a burger and my partner had the cod. All of which were quite greasy. Maybe it was an off day. Price was good and cheaper than the competition but the food wasn't as good quality. Worth a try and maybe we will at some point. Solid 3 stars..

Love Nemo's - they always cook the fish fresh but we phone through the order 10 minutes before so not a problem. Really friendly people too.

Wanted some fish an chips that's didn't involve having to go into Beckenham an parking to have food from the big catch which is the best around.

I absolutely LOVE Nemo's! The fish is always fresh and the chips are not greasy. The place is clean and so are the staff, which, if you're anything like me, is really important!! You can get a good range of fresh fish all cooked to perfection and served by one of the friendly team. A welcome addition to the range of local businesses in Beckenham.
