Scruffy Murphy's Pub in Liverpool

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos explorando esta parte de la ciudad cuando decidimos pasar por Scruffy Murphy's Pub, fuimos a este pub en Harrington Street muchas veces a lo largo de los años, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita. Un pub de gran aspecto, el interior es magnífico, un bar llamativo domina la sala principal, decoración y mobiliario del pub, pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte, gran arte de la pared y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, es solo un pub muy bueno para relajarse. Estábamos aquí en una tarde de febrero amargamente fría, pedimos cervezas de Carling Brewery, estas se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones al ser heladas frías y espumosas, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este pub ocupado y popular mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Mi cerveza era muy buena, una cerveza estilo lager dorada, ligera y con lúpulo rebosante de sabor y muy fácil de beber sobre todo cuando se sirve helada fría como en este pub, era tan bueno estar en un pub tan encantador disfrutando de una cerveza de calidad y se sentó con mi hermano gemelo, mejor compañero de cerveza del mundo. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a Scruffy Murphy's Pub nos lo pasamos muy bien. Scruffy Murphy's Pub es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Harrington Street. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a domingo, abierto de 11 am. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

Sorprendentemente bueno! En la ciudad probando lugares en los que nunca habíamos estado antes, me encontré con esto, no el estilo de pub que normalmente teníamos, pero lo probé y lo pasé genial. Buenas bebidas, precio razonable, personal amable del bar, gran ambiente y fantástica música en vivo. Lo suficientemente lejos del caos de Mathew Street.

Antes de empezar unas vacaciones de diez días en Benidorm, mi hermano gemelo y yo decidimos tomarnos un par de días libres para visitar algunos de los grandes pubs por los que nuestra ciudad es justificadamente famosa, uno de los primeros que visitamos fue Scruffy Murphy's Pub en Harrington Street, uno de los dos Scruffy Murphy Pubs en el centro de Liverpool, el otro se encuentra a lo largo de la calle Mathew. Me gusta el aspecto de este pub , el interior es magnífico, un bar de servicio de aspecto fresco domina la sala principal, decoración y mobiliario pubby, gran arte de pared, mesas de billar, pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, es solo un gran pub para relajarse. Estábamos aquí alrededor del mediodía, justo a tiempo para las ofertas de cerveza happy hour, conseguimos pintas de cerveza de Carling Brewery, estas se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones siendo heladas frías y espumosas, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este pub ocupado y popular mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Mi cerveza estaba realmente buena, una cerveza estilo lager dorada, ligera y con lúpulo rebosante de sabor y muy fácil de beber sobre todo cuando se sirve helada fría como en este pub , no es de extrañar que este pub sea tan popular entre las cervezas servidas en esta buena condición. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a Scruffy Murphy's Pub nos lo pasamos muy bien. Un gran pub en mi opinión, vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

Scruffy Murphy's es un fantástico pub irlandés en la calle Harrington y es uno de los dos pubs Scruffy Murphy's Irlandés - Americano en el centro de Liverpool. Este pub brillante tiene un fantástico interior temático deportivo con muchos accesorios interesantes y características relacionadas con el deporte. Tienen un par de mesas de billar aquí y tiene numerosas pantallas de televisión. Hay excelentes opciones de asientos en todo su interior y cuando fuimos aquí por la tarde estaba muy ocupado, ya que hay una larga Happy Hour. Esta es nuestra primera visita a este magnífico pub en unos años, ya que está en una zona donde no venimos tan a menudo, lo que es una pena, ya que hay algunos bares y pubs magníficos por aquí. Cuando visitamos aquí tuvimos unas pintas de cerveza Carling lager's que se sirven en perfecto estado y a £ 2. 50 una pinta en la Hora Feliz extremadamente buena relación calidad-precio. Este es un pub magnífico en una zona magnífica que vale la pena visitar y fácil de encontrar desde la parada de autobús en Lord Street es un corto paseo. Late bar, served drinks after most had closed. Good atmosphere and amazing singer/guitarist Liam Hillier so much passion and had banter too 👏

Staff were friendly and very attentive. Barmaid ( Ynez? ) was really friendly and pours the perfect guiness. The manager couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely revisit next time in Liverpool and recommend to my friends in Bogotá.

I Went to Scruffy Murphys on Friday night with family and friends. We were really surprised firstly the size of the venue and at the live music which was playing… A young guy called Joe Slater was playing a set , what an amazing voice which had everyone singing dancing and joining in. The staff were very polite,efficient,helpful and we were served in no time at all All night The ambiance was so refreshing Everyone who was in there was having a great time also there were two pool tables around the side which were free. Also there were booths for people to chat and relax in.. We’re definitely going to go back there and I would recommend this venue for anyone who’s around the area.

We're around England and Scotland since weeks and at our last stop before our ferry heads back we had the first bad experience. The whole country was surprisingly dog friendly and we never had a problem with our dogs in bars or restaurants. We expect ed the same here. Of course we ask before entering the place and staff was just like "if they don't do their business here you're welcome". I said that our dogs are used to go into bars, they're well behaved and just laying under the table. So we joined the place, find a nice table a bit in the back, dogs laid under the table and everything was fine till I tried to order at the bar. We literally get kicked out and I still have no idea why it was fine with the dogs at first and now the waitress told us three ist too many. I ask before, I told that our Dog->S<‐ are well behaved and used to join bars. This was our first dog unfriendly experience in three month traveling England and Scotland. Getting kicked out cause of our dogs after asking if dogs are allowed and had a friendly, smiling offer that the dogs are welcome is the worst experience one could have!

I have been here numerous times over the past month or so due to the bars close proximity to where I work. They have a happy hour until 6pm which is ideal for drinks after work. The drinks selection is very good and the staff seem really nice. I haven’t tried the food yet but will do at some point. Toilets are clean which is always a good sign.

5/5! Perfect venue. We booked this venue for NYE as a work event to have a secured place that wouldn’t be too crowded. The staff were all amazing in helping get it booked and we had our own bar, pre-booked drinks for the bells which were all ready for us in great timing and free pool tables. We all had an amazing time and staff couldn’t do enough to help. Live music was great mixed with some festive standards. If you have an event get in touch and book! Thanks you everyone!!

The Bar maid who was on in this bar on Saturday 3rd December at 8pm was so rude. We will never visit here again.

Scruffy Murphy's is a Irish-American bar on Harrington street that offers a good range of drinks and shows live sport and has only opened a few weeks ago. This brilliant bar has a superb interior with many interesting fixtures and features and superb seating options throughout the bar interior. They have a pool table thats free between Monday to Thursday until 18.00 and offer's live music seven nights a week and is a fine addition to the bar scene in this very good area of the city centre. This was are first visit to this bar and it's an excellent place to visit.We came here fairly late in the afternoon and it was just getting busy.When we where here we had a couple of glasses of Molson Coors Madrí beers an excellent beer which were perfectly served and well priced. This is a superb bar in a brilliant area thats well worth visiting and is very easy to get to from Lord street bus stop its a few minute's walk away.(This is my first review of Scruffy Murphy's Irish-American bar). This was my first visit to Scruffy Murphy's Pub but it certainly won't be my last visit. This is an Irish-American themed pub ,the interior is superb ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room ,lots of tables including barrel tables ,sports memorabilia ,lots of big screens to enjoy the sport ,cool wall art ,pool tables which are free from Monday to Thursday early afternoon till 6pm,it's just a really good pub to chill out in . My twin brother Stephen and I were here just after opening hours at midday ,we were the first customers of the day so we could really appreciate what a great looking pub this is ,we were served Madri beer each ,these were served in tip top condition ,we kicked back,chilled out and took in the great pub we were in . A big fan of this beer ,it's such a light,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink ,when served freezing cold as in this pub it's such a refreshing beer indeed,it was just so good being in such a great pub enjoying a freezing cold beer sat with my twin brother Stephen best beer companion in the world . We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to Scruffy Murphy's Pub we were totally impressed. Scruffy Murphy's Pub is easy to locate along Harrington Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday,midday till 11pm. Friday & Saturday,midday till 3am. Sunday,midday till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
