We came to the shipping forecast and was booked on the darts and Ben was on the floor serving us and was very efficient and accommodating making us feel very welcome and made us have an enjoyable experience.

Came for a few games of darts with my mates, lovely place with friendly staff. Ben at the bar was especially helpful. Great vibes!

Visited on a quiet Tuesday but quickly served at the bar. Order a little food that came quickly and tasted good. Not much atmosphere as it was very quiet but friendly staff & lovely food

Read reviews so decided to go. 5 of us and they didn’t have 3 out of 5 drinks. Choose again didn’t have 2 of five drinks. Just got soft drinks as it seems impossible. We were asking for standard drinks, nothing more. Came to ordering food and exactly the same. Didn’t have 3 out of 5 choices on menu. Changed these and again didn’t have 2 out of 5 choices. Gave up and went elsewhere

Fantastic food. Had a selection of the small plates. Well presented, lovely and hot and very tasty. Staff very friendly.

A more expensive type of wetherspoons. Very mediocre, crap service by people who don't care, more of a place for a stag. Don't bother ordering chicken wings and the buffalo hot ones are just straight Frank's sauce, wouldn't go again.

Luis and Nathan were top lads. Bringing us water in between the beers.

Didnt experience food but service from Chloe, Alex and Harry was superb and there was an amazing atmosphere and the drinks are extremely well priced being under £4 for a pint which is a rare sight these days

Popped in for a couple of pints and some food before a gig next door. Opted for the Fish finger butty which was superb, massive portion of fish in a baguette, chunky chips and a small portion of slaw. Good price for a meal and a pint and there was a happy hour which meant the next round was also cheap for a city beer. Highly recommended. The girls behind the bar were lovely and really welcoming.

Come in on a whim that there maybe space for a Friday packed night but ben the bar staff was fantastic booked us in straight away and showed myself and partner how to navigate the tablet and board. Thanks for the amazing cocktails too. Great service boss atmosphere with light hearted rivalry. Will return again soon.

Imagine a much nicer spoons, and you've got it. Lovely staff, and the food is mega, especially the burgers! The quiz is second to none. Steve is a legend. They also do student offers for beers. Think it's two quid for a pint of Coors. Mega that.

Arlene was a fantastic host. We went for a bottomless brunch and never had a dry glass. This could have been the beat ever.

Great, laid back Ropewalks pub with relaxed vibe, cosy decor and a friendly clientele and staff. The tikka masala was the best I’ve ever had.

Came here on a Friday night, got a meal for 2 and drinks, couldn't believe how good the food was and how cheap it was. This was so good we came again on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, we knew we would get good value for money. There was rugby on TV but the crowd was not too noisy. Service was first class. The bar area and male toilets very clean and well looked after. Don't miss this if you're looking for good value food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere.
