everytime i have visited scoops, they have been EXTREMELY under staffed. even though there were only me and 2 others in the queue, i still waited an extremely long time just for 1 scoop? whilst waiting, staff just complained about the long shifts and barely sleeping, working till 2 am. they didn’t pick up their speed at all. another day i also witnessed a couple in front of me getting TERRIBLE service. it was a girl with pink hair and she was very very rude to them. to her, the customer is clearly NOT always right. this is not the first time i have seen scoops staff being rude to me or other customers. this specific member of staff seems to be the worst one, im not sure why they’re keeping her? surely the management team have been made aware of her attitude but they are obviously trying to hold onto her since they have no staff to replace her with. she is bitter, short tempered and very rude. i understand defending yourself but you must maintain professionalism and that was just not met unfortunately. scoops need to either pay more than minimum wage and have more mature, older staff or they need to leave a sign on the door that says “our staff are not professional, please prepare to be spoken to badly” i will NOT visit again since these staff are too young and they don’t care about the consequences, maybe because there is none!!!!

Love this little ice-cream & shake bar! Had to wait a while as there was only 1 staff member & the people in front were taking a loooong time to decide, but once she had their order, she worked fast & made the wait as short as she could. The ice creams here are lovely (we all LOVED ours!), and there is certainly plenty of choice. It's immaculately clean & friendly here too. They have also have a great menu of shakes and they serve plenty of hot and cold drinks - when you fancy a sweet treat, you'll find something you'll love here! Always worth a visit if you're in Southend!

Molly served us with a smile, very good service, we came last Friday aswell and that was brilliant service so we came back tonight

Cold wet day, my Grandson still wanted an ice cream by the sea! Scoops 37, great selection, very clean...very pleasant customer service!

Shocking! Called in for an ice cream and staff had bad attitude and only interested in flirting with young male customer. Our clothes now stink of stale fat from the doughnuts

Visited in Southend today as my sister wanted waffles and they advertised waffles on the menu, after watching them make doughnuts fresh we wrongly assumed the warm waffles would be made fresh, we waited quite a while to be served as people walked off, on the menu it says waffles, premium ice cream -sauces and topping, so we ask for a waffle and raspberry ice cream and get told it comes with whippy as standard and it is £1 extra for raspberry, absolutely fine, until they unwrap a toaster waffle and just plonk it in a tub with the ice cream, not even warmed. £5.50 for a cheap waffle, scoop of ice cream and then had to go and spend money in creams for proper waffles as she was so disappointed with it. Nothing special, won't go again.

We go here a lot but recently got served by a new member of staff. HE pretended to not see us even though we were the only ones in the shop. He gave us attitude and small portions of ice cream and was rude with his response and started muffling under his breath to the other staff. We go here a lot and are locals and they said this was a normal portion, Which they wasn’t. Absolute Terrible customer service will not be going scoops again.

Lovely ice cream parlour. Lots of varieties and all in lovely Cornish ice cream. Vegan options available. Also tea and coffee. Credit to the lovely staff member Beau. Absolute superstar and very efficient

This is a review of the pier hill branch. A really visually pleasing aesthetic greets you when you walk past the shop, which is what encouraged us to go in! We were hoping for something dairy free but weren’t overly hopeful, as so many great ice cream parlours don’t cater for dairy free diets/vegans. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of amazing options, and I decided to get chocolate and strawberry in a tub. The portion size was absolutely perfect, and it was probably the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever tasted. Can’t wait to return!

We were the only customers in the shop and the 4 staff all stood cross armed debating who had to serve us. We were made to feel like an inconvenience, and considering we spent nearly 20 quid on some ice cream, that's pretty disappointing. Hopefully it was just the end of a long day for them. Still, ice cream really nice and decent choice.

Wow, wow wow! So many flavours and cater for all. Generous portions and flavours (cherry all the way!!!) Took my two daughters and partner and didn't disappoint.

We visited Scoops 37 during a stay in Southend. It is in a great location, across the road from the beach. There were lots of ice cream flavours to choose from and the staff were friendly. We will definitely be visiting again when we are next in Southend.

Called in here last week after spending the day in Southend, a lovely warm welcome from Mark who was really helpful with the flavours and combinations. A great service, some of the other places on the front could learn customer service from you. We will be back again.

Fabulous service from Mark!!! An absolute gent It’s lovely that we don’t just put old folks in a home when they have this much talent and passion for ice cream. We will be back soon!!!!!!

Came here the other week while walking home from work and my god their food was great and pretty cheap considering how desserts are usually priced. Also talked to some staff named Theo and Mark, lovely people and were amazing with their customer service and made it a really friendly environment, recommended to my friends at work due to those 2 individuals who made it better while I waited
