I was blown away with the quality of the food 😋 I have been many times and always enjoyed but the Christmas Dinner today was amazing 👏 Staff and students very friendly, polite and helpful

Please don't think that because this restaurant is based in a college and is manned by students that you will be receiving a basic meal. You will find it is exactly the opposite. The food is as good a standard as I have had eating in some top restaurants across the UK and the service is polite, courteous and respectful. You are helping these students and chefs to develop their skills to go into the real working environment whilst eating a meal that is ALWAYS delicious and plentiful. Couldn't find fault if I tried and I have been eating there for over 10 years. keep up the good work!

Absolutely amazing visit this lunch time ! Welcomed by the lovely friendly staff! Beautiful decor, exceptional customer service, enhancing our visit! The drinks orders arrived promptly, orders where taken efficiently, food was stunning, both starters of goats cheese, and pate’, mains of steak Diane where cooked to perfection, including the Al dente carrots, coffee was really enjoyable too, we had such a lovely afternoon here! Thank you so much to all the staff here, including chefs and Stephen!

As soon as you walk in you're welcomed with a smile and taken to your seats, from the moment you walk in till the moment you leave you're well looked after. Very attentive service, always willing to check and triple check for allergens and never at any trouble, give the right amount of attention so you don't feel overwhelmed, even when working with my niece who was waving constantly! The food was phenomonal, very well executed, seasoning was on point with everything I ate! Thankyou very much to all of the staff that work there, you really impressed us all, for such an amazing price too! Will be back, would recommend and bring others along! Thanks again :)

I enjoyed a great Christmas lunch at the Riverside College Scholars Restaurant. The students were very professional and provided a great service. I can’t wait to go back soon.

Can honestly say that the food was much better than some restraunts we have been to. superb quality and was surprised at the size of the portions. The not sure ratings are because I have not personally been for the times in question.

Really good service from waiters and waitresses. Fast service, food is excellent as are drinks and you alway feel welcome

I was a student at Halton college many years ago (doing catering city and guilds) and decided to have a look see whats has changed over the last 30 years! I was so over the moon at how the students performed, top quality food, top service, a credit to the lecturers! Its only a small restaurant but well worth a visit. Well done evryone

Excellent food. Excellent service. The students are very professional and everything is done to a very high standard. Starters and desserts are £1.50 and mains are £2.50. Well worth a visit!

I had cream of pea soup Stuffed poussin with mash and sauteed veg and white chocolate and Baileys ice cream it was all delicious and all of that for £5.50 highly recommend

This is really a training centre within Riverside College for students to get work experience. It however looks professional and everything is reasonably priced and the food quality is excellent. The staff are friendly and saw to your requirements, service was quick and efficient.

Thought we'd try this place as had been recommended. Food is surprisingly cheap and really good. The staff were excellent and keen to please. A credit to the college.

Great service. A lot of restaurants could learn a lot from them. Nothing to much trouble. Only wish it was open weekends!

The staff and students are really helpful and friendly and on hand to provide a fast and professional service. The students are trained to a high standard, guided by catering & teaching staff to serve up restaurant quality food at really cheap prices. I would definitely recommend Scholars as most of the food is cheaper than grabbing a ready-made sandwich from a shop and it's much fresher!!

The food is A* food Michelin star food the staff and atmosphere is brilliant very polite and will help you with any debt or allergies I would recommend this restaurant to everyone can't wait to go back brilliant the best restaurant I've ever eaten in

The food and service in this wonderful restaurant is second to none. Professional cookery and service doesn't get much better than this. With themed nights, specialising in different world foods, this is truly an amazing dining experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scholars. Exceptional.
