The food wasn’t delivered at all. Tried calling and asked for a text back but no response.

Ordered chicken and got beef not impressed as I don't eat beef

The burrito bowl was mainly rice with uncooked pieces of cumin sprinkled over it. This was clearly made by folk who've never actually had Tex-Mex food. The whole meal left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm quite disappointed. But at least the portion size is decent. I can't recommend it.

Average. Wouldn’t order again.

Sadly the quality of food that was received was nowhere near as good as previous orders. For the most part the burrito ordered was rice and cheese but only a little slither of meat. It seems as though the recipe they use has changed but it's not the same. I'll refrain from ordering from here for now to give them a chance to work out the recipe issues.

Food was incredibly poor. Burrito's were 95% rice. Taco's were bland. Churros were cooked in oil that had fried fish and were inedible as a result. Never again.

Bad - nearly 2 hours late and app showed as delivered when it clearly wasn’t - don’t know if this is a ploy to show just eat as being on time so they don’t get marked down. Good- the food was nice when it eventually arrived although and was hot however my other half had gone to bed as we ordered at 6:50 and the food arrived at 10pm. Called the restaurant at 8:30 10 mins after latest delivery time and was told 10 mins. Called against 9:20 1 hour late and was told had left and would be there in 4 mins … arrived 10pm. I just wish they said at 8.30 look mate it’s busy food will be there at 10 , just cancel if that’s too late 🤷🏻‍♂️ I think if I fancied an Indian in town I would call in here for it - can’t see me ordering again unless I thought I might fancy an Indian in 4 hours time 🤣🤣

Thoroughly disappointed! Kidneys beans hard as rocks, very little meat, rice barely cooked. I ordered from here when it first opened and I loved it however now it’s gone down hill! Will not be ordering by again

I know it might seem a little expensive but it’s so woorth it, only challenge do you dip or pour. Yum

Easily the worst takeaway I've ever had. The burrito was a tortilla filled with rice and very little else and the churros were tasteless and chewy - never again.

Lovely mmmh! Really tastie fills you up word of warning chips = nachos 🙄 loved the dips they really lift the flavours. Defo order again💛

Just received what was supposed to be a taco! Tacos supposed to be crispy but what turned up was a soggy mini tortilla

Food was soggy. Rice was undercooked. Shredded pork was dry. The flavour was great though and was delivered early.

I'm not sure what's happened tonight as the food I received wasn't up to the usual standards. The rice was clumpy/undercooked but watery, the whole burrito was like warm and the bread used to make the quesadillas tasted like potato on the outside. I will be back again but as I say the food quality tonight was very unusual.

Tacos oily and food bit expensive but lovely food

Have had food from here once before, about a year or so ago, and i do not remember it being this nice. Everything was so flavourful and delicious I really enjoyed it. Will be ordering again

Pulled beef tacos were great, but I would've loved a bit more filling.

Pulled beef soft taco. Amazingly tasty. With sides of salsa, sour cream and lime. Would have created so much wastage if I made it myself. Plu, who can be bothered to make fresh tortillas when they do it better. Will definitely order again. Well worth the money

Paid 16 pound for a spicy beef burrito two cans of pop and a dip and it was just full of rice hardly any meat at all never again

We were both delighted with the quality of the food. Great flavours and combinations, not oily or salty - just right. Plus, not enormous portion sizes either, so there was no wastage. Everything was spot on, and it’s our new favourite spot in town. Will be ordering again.

I got the wrong order. I'd ordered beef tacos and got a burrito instead. It was good though!

The order was over an hour late, on the first call to them after 30 minutes I got a terse young woman who simply said they were busy without even taking my details. After a further 20 minutes I called back and the same woman passed me on to a chap who said it was on the way. It's now another 20 minutes on, the order is still not here and is 10 minutes late on the one hour extension!

Estimated delivery was between 15:10-15:30 and it came at 14:55. Fast delivery (very polite driver), piping hot food and it tasted like they've added a bit more spice as well which really did taste great. I didn't enjoy the guacamole but I hadn't tried before until now so that's probably just down to personal preference and not down to the restaurant. Absolutely no complaints here at all, keep it up guys you're doing great!

Please do not order from this restaurant the service is simply shocking. After 40 minutes late, I phoned the restaurant to be told it would be here imminently, after another 40 minutes rang again to be told it was on its way but they were short of drivers. When I pointed out the food would now be cold now the person on the phone said probably, when I then asked for a refund I was hung up on. Please do not waste your money here.

Very tasty but not spicy, the sour cream tasted like plain but thick yoghurt unfortunately. Also, the delivery driver didn't wear a mask. Everything else was perfectly fine, if the quality can be kept up I'll continue to order from here.

Did not deliver on Boxing Day when I placed the order. Found out later that evening the takeaway was closed. I am hoping I get a refund, I did not receive my order. I should not have been able to order on Just Eat, Sadly I assumed as the restaurant was taking orders that it was open. Something needs to be done to stop this happening again. I am sure I am not the only person who this has happened to.

Late delivery but food was good when it turned up. Restaurant gave us a free bottle of Coke as an apology for the delayed order.

It's took 45mins from the driver on its way to get here Very pore quality food mind had it been hot maybe ok topically just eat stuff always comes cold

Food arrived nearly 2 hours late, tacos dripping with grease and an awful orange oil. Didn't enjoy this meal in the slightest. Dips very bland, and corn chips, just like cheap plain tortilla chips.

Was shocked to see the taco, got 3 but they were flat not a taco shell like the picture shows but a bread wrap. When went to pick it up couldn’t find it because it’s in the back of a fish shop with no sign to say it was there. Over priced for what you get might as well got to McDonald’s for 3 flat breads be more filling

Tried to phone to request no cheese and no sour cream due to allergies, phoned 27 times and it hung up straight away everytime. Wanted to tell the delivery driver but he just left it at my door and when i opened it he was in the car. Not very happy, had to bin the whole thing :(

The food is bland and not authentic South American. Plain white rice, not seasoned, not enough beans or vegetables. The ground beef was ok but there was so much white rice that it made the burrito bland. The loaded nachos weren’t very loaded. Just plain cheese on top with some jalapeños.. not very interstate. The beans and rice was literally just that. More plain white rice with kidney beans scattered on top. Very bland, mediocre food and at £20 inc delivery was very over priced!! To summarise, not authentic, bland, tasteless, unimaginative and over priced.

Delivery service was great, unfortunately the food wasn't great, I got the churros , they where very bland and flavourless, didnt taste like it had an sugar in it , no cinnamon on, I also got nacho chips with the cheese sauce, that wasn't great either

The burritos were literally rice with 1/2 bits of meat. No kidney beans, peppers or flavours. Wouldn’t order again…..£8.50 for a rice wrap!!

As previous reviewer said burrito is 90% rice, tortilla chips are nasty taste store bought & stale/cheap but tacos and quesadillos nice, a bit stingy on filling. Churros great. Definitely overpriced.

Forgot an order of Tacos and a diet coke. £8 worth if order missing. I like the food here but don't think they have got my order correct once. I mean surely its not difficult to read what people have ordered. My husband even said you knkw the order will miss some items. Unacceptable.

I ordered the Moving Mountains Burrito, and requested that no cheese be added as I'm vegan. Cheese was in the Burrito,as well as what seemed to be Pork. Over £20 for 2 burritos - not impressed at all

Was disappointed after the hype. Chicken burrito was mostly rice and was dry, tacos that resembled a quesadilla and the churros tasted of fries. Wouldn't take much for it to be amazing.

Food was late and cold when it arrived! Ordered 2 different burritos so thought they would write on them to tell the difference! I was wrong!

Great food, fast delivery, but they need to sort out their listing settings. Currently all the optional extras are set as "Required" which means you can't add a burrito to your order without also adding £5-£6 of nachos or similar, plus a £1 extra dip. We figured out a combo that suited what we wanted but I'm sure some customers will give up and order from someone else because they feel forced into buying more than they want.

Taco was very average. Filling was pork smush and sour cream with no great flavour. Nachos were good but you can’t really mess nachos up. Wouldn’t order from here again.

They force you to order side dish even if you don’t want it.. I have ordered tacos for my son the order was not preceded unlessI have had to add side dish so it cost me double and we haven’t eaten it..

This would have been really nice as the taste and blend of spices was great, unfortunately I got several pieces of bone in the minced beef burrito. That's a real pity that they let themselves down with poor quality meat. I was prepared to become a long term customer but that kind of thing just puts you off and I probably won't order from there again or recommend the place, certainly not the mince, what a shame. I hope they will up the quality of their ingredients

i don't normally leave reviews, but this place is top of my list. Food was outstanding, i can't fault it in any way, perfectly cooked, tasty and filling. I will be getting more from here

Really disappointed the restaurant charged us almost £12 just for two packets of tortilla chips. we ordered x4 chips (with dips) in total and got sent only two dip tubs, not 4. No queso, no guac. Just chips for £12. Having supported you with repeated orders I have to say we feel scammed. A refund would be nice, alas..

Honestly, I’m a very fussy vegetarian eater, who doesn’t really care much for food ( I know shocking ) - but this food is honestly beautiful! I’ve had it twice this week and me and my partner ( a meat eater) can’t rate it enough! Beautiful authentic Mexican food, sustainable packaging, lovely dips ( the chipotle is unreal) very fairly priced and lovely driver! Can’t recommend this enough and hope this restaurant is here to stay!! Thank you so much guys truly gorgeous stuff x

Every thing was delicious. The different burritos were nice and distinct in flavour. You do get a lot of rice but there’s plenty of flavour to go with it and fill the belly. Nice to have this kind of food in Darlington and will definitely be ordering again.
