Always my go to fast food takeaway. Love it.

Nice clean store with quick service and friendly staff.

Food overcooked,coating was dark brown and hard

It is always a bit salty than other KFC branches but delicious at the end . Service was good fast and with a smile. Price is getting higher every time but I guess this is the case everywhere nowadays. Enjoyed it .

Ok, over priced. The menu pictures are not a clear reflection of the size and quality of the actual food.

Even though we ordered and paid for 2 portions chips in our over £30 order, we didn't get them. Service from the young employees was very good but they were over streched so obviously mistakes were made, pushy delivery person with no mannets "can you move" no please or thank you. This is management issues and needs addressing. Food was inadiquate compared to thinford. Will not be visiting again

Do not go to KFC North as there just change me 40 quid for a pop corn meal and when phone them at 1050 sorry we closed and can not do nothing about it

I went to the restaurant to pick up an order as a delivery driver. The girl at the counter was extremely rude and didn't listen when I asked for the order number. I ended up waiting around 40 minutes to collect the order. When she finally gave it to me, I realized it had been sitting there, already packed, for the entire 40 minutes.

Why advertise a close time if you refuse to serve people 45 minutes before hand? Disgraceful

I had a wrap it was really nice id definitely have another, there wasn't much atmosphere it was very quiet

5mins before closing after a late hospital visit, food was great but staff obviously wanted to out, can't blame them on a Friday night. Overall very good for 1st vist to this restaurant

I ordered 6 of chickens in a box and 4 chips and requested different part of the chickens. I didn't get what asked for and I should have been informed that the part of chicken that I wanted were not available. My order was wrong I tried to call but no response. However, I finally spoke to a staff member today and she said the phone never rang last night, in order I was lying (though she didn't say so). The chip were awful and I will never again buy from there.KFC you didn't do right by me.

Staff are more bothered about dealing with the Just Eat and ubers than the customers itself! Stood for 5 mins before even being acknowledged and a further few minutes before being served!

Food... its kfc!!! Service was excellent! Atmosphere was ruined because someone reversed I to my car in the carpark. I should used the drive-thru

Delicious flavour still, a bit stale as my food was stood ready for a bit. But service was good.and place was clean.

I ordered a rice box without salad, I asked At the counter when ordering and also when they asked me to park up (for 10 mins) and again clarified when the young lady brought the food, got home to eat the rice box and it’s over half full of salad!

My dad is a disabled war hero and he will not be eating tonight because kfc never sent his food, we can’t afford to reorder and they refused point blank to send the food out even tho it’s been paid for. They say he will receive his refund in 3 to 10 days. Terrible service.

Yet again I had the misfortune to make a purchase from the KFC Branch at Yarm Road Retail Park, Darlington Last evening. I waited 20 minutes, picked up my food, travelled 4 miles home to discover the order was wrong and the fully loaded meals containing the fillets both regular and Zinger were black and tough. All was duly returned to the relevant store where a full refund was sought and given . You really need to get your act together – I am thoroughly disgusted with KFC at the moment and will totally boycott your company. —————/-////////__________\\\\\_\\\_____ Yet again had the misfortune to get the wrong order . Nobody in the place yet order took ages, staff quite rude stuff out of stock even though it let's you order it. Smallest box ever of popcorn chicken

The employees are all in no mood. when you enter/ when you order, the staff looks at you badly, no one smiles. Luckily, in the meantime, the couriers come in full of life and they smile and say more just a joke... all the employees are young, but you can tell by their mood that they are slave. After I ordered, they told me that unfortunately I have to wait around 10 minutes because they have a lot of orders,I understood and went out to the parking lot to wait and when I looked out the window the kitchen employee was playing on the phone. Unfortunately, you have lost another loyal customer!

It's difficult to mark this high as it it was it is. But for what we wanted the food was great, and I remember even commenting in the car how helpful, happy and nice the team who served us were.

Only ever done take away here so the atmosphere was picked up from waiting - whilst McDonald's has a sectioned off area for drivers, KFC does not and the drivers seem rude sometimes. Aside from that, it's very dark. Occasionally the touchscreen doesn't print receipts or doesn't work. Like with most other fast food restaurants, I prefer to order on the app rather than in store as this shortens my wait time, but the KFC app is better and better at detecting when you are at the store.

Food was brilliant but the service was horrific they forgot 3 things and the driver was very kind so over all its a 3 stars for me

Awful... 40+ minutes for popcorn chicken and a drink?

This is the best KFC in Darlington. Don't go the Yarm Road one it's 2 minute from my house and we drive to this one because Yarm Road is so bad.

It was nice. But then again I was really hungry. This KFC is not always the best as much of the chicken sold is not fresh but very dry. On this occasion it was OK. The past twice not so good. The staff in this branch are generally rude, argumentative and not in the slightest bit helpful.

my friend used to work here and said they don’t even check the temperature of the chicken to make sure its cooked. Well i should have listened because now i have horrible food poisoning

fast delivery, but they missed out most of my order. my burger wasn’t cooked properly.

i ordered 2 burgers one came uncooked and one came spicy (which we didn’t ask for!!!) there was barely any chips and the gravy was really lumpy the uncooked which has now made my daughter ill the spicy one had no lettuce in everything was chucked into one bag including the drinks which came in in cans and not cups. we got the gravy which we didn’t ask for

Good food, orders quite often packed wrong

How hard is it to put dips in with a dipping box?! Not the first time either. Drivers don't take responsibility and can never get through on the phone.

Food was piping hot and quick. Did get in just before the rush though.

Went round the drive thru at 9:45 ish. I got home and no burger in the zinger tower box meal. Tried to ring up. Closed. There wasn’t a recipe in the bag. So nearly £9 for 2 pieces of chicken, chips, beans and a drink.

Staff helpful and new cashier was really chatty and brough some fun to the meal. The food was a bit dry and we're missing an item but we had got home by this point.

It's 3 times now I use to go at least once a month now it maybe 1 time a year after last delivery never again .Food ice cold missing chips for the money you pay never again .Mac D from now on

Came in with maguire armstrong, Carl graffle and myself. Got a boneless banquet. Food was nothing like any kfc ive had before. Really disappointed with it. Staff were polite but it surely wasnt finger licking good

Not very good at all, the coating on the chicken was strange, powdery and dry, it looked overcooked. The fries were barely warm. Very overpriced for the quality of the food. We won't be going back.

Consistently gets orders wrong, this time I was missing my side. Boycotted for a while since a while back they left me and other drivers piled into the drive through for almost an hour, no reason or apology. Kinda done with KFC in general.

Bargain bucket 2 large sides 1 was beans the other 1 was coleslaw still waiting for it now it wasn't in the bag.

Placed an order theough just eat, and the driver delivered my order to the wrong house, just eat refused to help whatsoever and just said they would investigate, and would get a response in a few days! Called the store and the manager (Andrew) was so helpful, 10/10 for his manner and professionalism, despite it not really being his problem, can't thank him enough, the food was lovely too when we did finally get to eat.

The staff were fantastic and provided am excellent level of Customer service. The food was also good and fairly priced.

Not the best the fries were not nice and the burgers were not very warm Plus staff were getting harrased by the eat out driver maybe put more staff on and one member for just the eat out and delivery people ??

Food ok but service terrible - all stood behind the counter no acknowledgement. Lots of Just Eat also delaying in shop customers.

Waited a whole 30 minutes to get served even tho they stood there clearly see me waiting but more focus on the delivery drivers. Ordered a snapbox and a Milky Way Krusham the snap box was frezzing cold and the Krusham had black stuff in. Discusting

2 hairs I’ve found in my food (one inside the burger)! And to top it off two of my items were missing from the order! I never get the correct order, something is always missing when I order from here.

Been having KFC chicken hot wings for years and I was very disappointed Wednesday at 4pm ,when I bought 11 hot wings which felt like chewy and really dark brown in colour . Clearly that shows rhey haven't changed the cooking oil for days Or the oil fryer haven't been cleaned for days . The only KFC in Darlington that had a decent service has also gone down hill . I always wonder why can't KFC look at McDonald's business model and learn something?

Food was very hot and fresh, staff helpful

Went to the drive through, the staff were really friendly. Had the boneless banquet and it was delicious. My only negative comment would be they could be a bit more generous with the portions of chips.

Always check what they give you in the drive through, never order in. We've been duped 3 times now, they never get the order right, always try to scam us.

As usual great staff and a correctly cooked KFC, keep up the good work :-)

Went tonight abysmal it seems to be getting worse chip cold and floppy burger tasteless and the beans were full of gravy disappointed is an understatement be a long time before I go back.

Slow food was terrible and over cooked the fries were cold

Appalling! Stuck in the drive thru for 25mins with only 2 cars in front of me! Pathetic. Under staffed apparently. As if people have half an hour available to sit uselessly waiting in the drive thru unable to escape and cancel their order. No consideration for their customers at all.

Best service and Meal we have had so far from all the branches we have visited over the UK. Friendly staff and good, well prepared meals. Visited on way to Newcadtle and way back. Both times we had excellent service.

Fresh hot food when we got home massive bonus nothing worse then food getting cold before you get home
