It felt more of a lunch time place than evening dinner. The service wasn't great. At one point we were the only customers there, yet the food order didn't come out as requested. The restaurant lacked atmosphere. The quality of the food was below average. Don't think it was good value for money, and we were disappointed by the overall experience. The manager was polite and tried to be helpful.

A group of friends giving a friend a send off who’s returning to Boston. First time for all of us. Delighted by the portions which were very generous and the staff were very warm and helpful. A night and venue which surpassed expectations! Thank you! Paula

Service was very slow and generally not very attentive. Food was average and one of our friends was left waiting for a good five ten minutes after our food had arrived. No apology nothing.

In my opinion, some of the best Thai food I have had. The service is very good without being obsequious. Decor is very good. I removed 1 star as my chair upholstery was cracked.

Couldnt fault the food, absolutely delicious. Service was very fast but felt a little cold, although the waiters were all wearing masks so im sure it is a lot harder to chat and do full service like that.

On arrival we were greeted and temperatures taken and hand sanitiser offered given these crazy times! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. There were 3 of us and we all agreed that the food was absolutely delicious and flavoursome. We all agreed we would revisit again very soon as it was all so incredibly tasty! 😋

This is the best Thai place i have ever tried! So clean, fast and great taste and quality food. Also, prices are really reasonable for a started and main course.

It’s a nice restaurant. Good service friendly atmosphere and clean. The food yet isn’t too authentic Thai. Tom Yam, rolls, satei, fish cakes, morning glory, vegetarian curry, pad Thai... we tried several dishes. No spicy. Quite adapted to European taste. Price wise is not very expensive, but since the portions are small it’s not cheap in the end

Lovely meal with my daughter on a day out in London. Seems to get very busy after 7 pm. So probably best to book. Well worth waiting for a table if you have to. Top quality food and service. Ed.

The stuff was super rude. He basically made a mistake with the transaction. He had me signed it and later came back saying it got canceled and asked for my card again. It was weird to me and I wanted to ask for the reason, but his attitude was just not acceptable and he suddenly just walked away. We were staying in the West End, so this was perfect with a short walk from our hotel. Food came quickly and everything was lovely. It was a Tuesday and was quite busy which is a good sign. We had booked a table but there were also walk ins - although probably best to book especially weekends and high season (we came Feb). Would visit again and recommend

I booked a business lunch. We waited over 1 hour to receive both our starters and main at the same time. The noise levels were extreme. I was given my food a full 10 mins before the rest of my table. Food very average. Will not ever book again.

We use this for team lunches, consistently good service and the express two course menu is a favourite of ours

Lo que realmente decepcionó al restaurante fue el mal servicio: si va a cobrar un servicio discrecional, asegúrese de que su restaurante lo merezca. En ningún momento nos preguntaron si la comida / todo estaba bien. Cuando nos sirvieron el agua, el fondo estaba húmedo y los vasos estaban súper llenos.Cuando solicité cambiar mi tarjeta durante el pago, el camarero sacó la tarjeta original de la máquina y la dejó sobre la mesa, grosero. Si vuelvo por la deliciosa comida, ¡ciertamente no pagaré por el servicio!

El servicio aquí tiene que ser uno de los mejores que he experimentado dentro y fuera de Londres.Los camareros son fabulosos y realmente conocen sus cosas desde el vino hasta la cocina auténtica para garantizar que los vegetarianos y veganos también tengan una excelente comida aquí.La comida es fresca, deliciosa y picante (me encantan mis especias) y sus galletas de gambas son tan encantadoras.Todos nuestros comensales, comedores de carne y no comedores de carne quedaron impresionados con sus comidas, así como con los precios razonables.Definitivamente vamos a estar de vuelta.

We thoroughly enjoyed a lunch here recently!! We ate al la carte, although there is a set menu available if you want a quick lunch. We had the platter selection from the starter menu which was ample in size and beautifully presented. Tasted amazing! We were given a complimentary bowl of crackers too. The menu choice for main courses is brilliant. Plenty of options from either meat, fish, seafood or veggie in varying spices. We had a couple of side dishes to include a rice and noodle plate - everything was so tasty! The portion sizes were more than adequate. We had prawns for a main course and the most wonderful lamb cutlets! And I have to say even the prawns in our side dish were massive! There wasn’t one thing we weren’t impressed with! The service was attentive and friendly, and our food was served quick without feeling rushed. Overall it was outstanding! Drinks were averagely priced which was refreshing! And so when it came time to pay the bill we were not wincing for having had half a dozen beers each!! This restaurant was a great find for us and we will Most definitely return!

The food is delicious well presented, it was busy when we arrived but we were told it may be a little delayed. The weather was awful outside. The Tom yum soup seafood was delicious with very good appetisers....all freshly cooked.

Arrived not very hungry after a pie in the Red Lion but when I saw the food I could not stop. Wonderful Thai food served in a great atmosphere by friendly staff...whats not to like.

The manager: Mike is very unprofessional – a friend of mine called the restaurant during the lunch hour to place an order from the lunch menu- Mike took the order wrong (my friend expressed that she wanted a specific dish with added chillies) Mike assured her that he understood however, when my friend got her order it was wrong.

Someone took my order over the telephone, unfortunately, he took it wrong and I had to go back into the restaurant to get it changed. This was explained to the manager upon my arrival, unfortunately, I did not get the service I expected- the manager was very aggressive- in front of other customers to a point where his colleague told him to calm down and he very rudely shoved him out of the way. I tried to speak with him to get his name (Mike) and he turned around and would not speak to me. One of his colleagues kindly spoke to me and explained it was an error and my meal would be changed. I mentioned that I would write this review and the manager told me to "go on then", I also explained that I would be writing a formal complaint to which Mike repsonded "I look forward to replying to you". Safe to say I will not be spending any more of my money in this restaurant, I was embarrassed at the manager's behaviour and how he treated a paying customer. If you are in the area go elsewhere!!!

The food was superb. To my untrained palate it seemed authentically Thai. The service was swift. The price of the set menu was very reasonable. The music was completely awful.

Probablemente uno de los peores lugares en los que he estado para un pad Thai. Evítalo si puedes.

Staff were very friendly but also rushed off their feet which actually meant we were not rushed but I can imagine if it was a little busier this could have resulted in some long waits. The food was superb and very tasty and hot when it arrived at the table so no complaints there. We were kept topped up on the drinks and had a fantastic evening made even better by the friendliness of the staff.

Pleasant restaurant on quiet street away from hubbub and beautifully air-conditioned on a very warm night. Maitre d took great pains to explain menu possibilities for one with narrower options. Nice food and good value.

Coma aquí mientras se hospeda en el Premier Inn en la misma calle. No hay mucha gente en un sábado por la noche y no estoy seguro de por qué porque la comida era encantadora. Muy sabroso plato mixto para compartir como entrante, que seguí con el curry Massaman Lamb. El cordero era increíblemente tierno y delicioso! Mi compañero tenía el pollo Pad Suki que dijeron que era genial. ¡Lo único que me decepcionó fue que estaba demasiado lleno para exprimir el arroz pegajoso de mango para el postre!

Lovely food, good service & good value

Muy buena comida Un poco fuera de lo común, pero vale la pena el paseo. Mirando el menú, un miembro del personal salió y se disculpó por no tener un baño para discapacitados. Permanecer cerca, así que no es un problema para nosotros (inicio honesto, aunque). Un paso de 150 a 200 mm (peor) y el personal se ofreció a ayudar. Dados los buenos asientos, tienen sillas de ruedas ligeramente más altas pero mesas perfectas. El personal, atento y educado, y explicó el menú completo para nosotros. Comida encantadora, un precio muy razonable para Londres. Bien hecho, accesible, agradable y una buena comida.

Fui a este restaurante a cenar con mi esposo.

Looked nice but a bit empty. I found out why. The food was terrible! Possibly the worst Thai I have ever eaten. Service was fair enough and the place looked pretty clean, but to pay all that to have a nice looking place in town and deliver such shocking food doesn’t make sense! Maybe the chef doesn’t like the owners? Who knows but a wouldn’t waste any money here again!! Avoid is my advice

The service was poor from start to finish. Being vegetarian we ordered the Thai curry with a “v” but then told it contains shrimp so actually isn’t vegetarian. The waiter seemed to be completely shocked by this. I then had a herbal tea and asked for one cup so my friend could take literally a sip to calm her throat. It was literally a sip! We were then charged for two teas. I explained we didn’t have two people having this and the teapot was for one anyway?

A very enjoyable evening with the family with three kids aged 11 to 15 all found something to enjoy off the menu.

Once we had been moved from a table where our hair was being blown about the overhead ventilation/heating system we had a very pleasant evening. The service was excellent and the staff extremely willing to please. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had.

Muy buen tailandés en Holborn que típicamente atiende a la gente del almuerzo local. He estado aquí varias veces y la comida siempre es excelente y una buena relación calidad-precio. El almuerzo fijo con un entrante y platos principales suele ser la mejor manera de ir. Sin embargo, ayer tengo que decir que el primer plato de tartas de pescado era muy pequeño y decepcionante (especialmente cuando se compara con la sopa tom yum). La carne de chili y el plato de arroz era genial como de costumbre, aunque. Excelente malbec rojo. El servicio fue lento esta vez, pero estaban muy ocupados. En resumen un gran tailandés.

Food was good but my starter (fish cake) was the size of a 50p coin - They gave me two which was not enough (I think there should have been 4 or 5) but they were very tasty.<br /><br />I had never purchased a more expensive bottle of water. I think it was about £4.<br /><br />The food was served quickly. The decorations inside were very nice. Would go back.

Gorgeous food with waiting staff that really knew menu and were passionate about the food. Sadly it was empty when we left at 9.30pm on a sat night which seemed such a shame hence lower rating for ambience. Would definitely go again. It’s pricier than your standard chain Thai but you get what you pay for in quality of food.

We were advised cocktails could not be ordered when we initially attempted to order drinks without a reason. <br />We were told that my friends gluten free order could not be placed on a separate plate. <br />Our table was cleaned after the starters but was with a dirry cloth - apparently it was the chemicals in the cleaner that had a rank scent!<br />Our mains arrived well after 30 mins of finishing the starters and we weren&#039;t given prawn crackers whereas every other table had been provided with these.<br />The waiters English was poor.<br />Food was ok but would not go back due to poor service.

Fabulous meal! Food, drink and service were perfect! We’ve eaten Thai in Thailand and just about every where else and this is fabulous!

Our company&#039;s preferred place for all group events. Always have a good time. The food is delicious and well presented. I think it would suit all occasions apart from an intimate romantic meal.

We had an early reservation at 6:30pm so we were the only ones there. Food was nice and a cosy little restaurant.

We were about 8 of us for lunch. The food was decent. Service was average but surely polite. Ambience was good. Compared to the other Thai places I have eaten, this would be a 3/3.5 star rating.

Food tasted fine on average level. Ordered tofu panang curry which tastes nice. However was obvious food was not fresh. Mains came too quickly after starters.

If there are Michelin stars for The food, this little gem of a restaurant should have a sky-full! I wandered into it by accident as I was staying in a Premier Inn just down the street - what a find! Great ambience, friendly service and food to die for. I was forced to forgo the starters and deserts as I had to work later on and didn't have a lot of time - just as well. The duck curry I had with lychee and pineapple was delicious and the portion, served in a pineapple, would have fed 2 people at least. It is in my notes, for me to visit on every occasion I need to visit the metropolis, like Borough Market. or Gordons Wine Bar or the Regency Cafe. Give your tastebuds a real treat - vision this wonderful restaurant

We went here because it is the top recommendation on google when you search for Thai restaurants near Holborn. The atmosphere is nice and the service is okay but we were a bit disappointed with the food, which was okay but nothing special.

Popped in for a quick work lunch. Food was lovely and service great. We had the £9.50 starter and main deal which was good value. Went back with a full belly so no complaints. Will definitely return.

Went with friends on a weekday. The restaurant started filling up around 8.30 and was reasonably busy. Had a beer, fresh lime soda, veg spring rolls and fried chicken wings for starters. Lime soda was fresh and soot on. Starters were average. For mains we had drunken chicken noodles, cashew curry with veg and tofu, red curry and steamed rice. The mains were good as were the portion sizes although the drunken noodles could be spicy for some. Service was excellent. Mains, starters, drinks for three cost £70 for three including service charge. Would recommend if you are passing by. Give the starters a miss and go for the mains.

I had been passing by this restaurant for years until 3 weeks ago. Was pleasantly surprised with the excellent tasty food. This was my first Thai restaurant to visit in years. The food is really Thai in every respect and very affordable. Looks like a small restaurant when outside but it is roomy.

Very much enjoyed our dinner at Sawadika. The service was prompt and polite and the menu has a good range without being overwhelming. The food was good quality and cooked to a high standard. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Thai food. Good value for the area.

My friends and I were down in London for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food we enjoyed at Sawadika - all six of us had different dishes and they were all lovely. We will definitely return on our next visit to London

Wir sind zufällig im Sawadika gelandet und haben es nicht bereut. Das Essen war vorzüglich und die Bedienung freundlich. Ich hatte Fisch (den Sea Bass) - so was leckeres hatte ich schon lange nicht mehr. Einzig beim Weit haperte es ein bisschen - der Rotwein war schon ein bisschen gar warm. Da müssten sich auch Thais den Gegebenheiten anpassen.

Tuvimos una buena cena. Fue picante y no fueron notificadas y el menú no especificaba que.

Nunca he probado la comida tailandesa antes, pero para mi fue buena tanto en cantidad como en calidad. Pedí pato asado con arroz comprimidos como guarnición y terminado con el estómago lleno. El servicio fue correcto, nos dejaron cenar aunque llegamos bastante tarde.

Estar en un grupo, cada uno de nosotros decidimos pedir el aperitivo y un plato principal por £9. 50. Me decidí a las bolas de hongos para mi arranque. Supongo que cómo muchas bolas de hongos te? Teniendo en cuenta que son más pequeñas que las pelotas de golf. Recibí exactamente…. Dos bolas de hongos. El mismo aplica a mis colegas, que recibió dos pasteles de pescado o dos pequeñas diminutas satay de pollo en brochetas. El plato principal siendo el pad mee con gambas fue la peor. Tomando en cuenta que cocinar en casa tailandesa, y hemos ido a muchos lugares tailandesa, este era el plato más insípido de sosa y fideos que he tenido el disgusto de comer en toda mi vida. Sin sabor, no tiene sabor y no aroma. En general, el personal era estupendo, pero la comida es lamentable.

Food was absolutely incredible - I had the duck breast with Penang curry. My friend had the yellow curry and said it was the best she’s ever had. <br /><br />Customer service really made the night - so polite and attentive. Will definitely go back again -

Poor service. We booked for 21.30 on a Saturday (restaurant close at 11 pm). Restaurant was empty except for other table. They were not friendly at all and rushing us all the time.

I'm so pleased to have found a really good Thai restaurant so close to my new office. There are not as many Thai restaurants in London as there were five years ago, which is a great shame - they are invariably good with welcoming staff, and Thai food is one of my favourites.

Food was very tasty. Ambience could be a bit better. Expensive-ish I would say for what you get. Good for a quick bite and all in all food very tasty, which is the primary reason for going there
